Adagio Teas

I’ve been shopping with Adagio for about a decade now, and they have always been the nicest and most fun place to get my tea fix. So when I saw there was an app, I was ecstatic! It makes my life so much easier when ordering and, unlike the with website, I can slowly build my order as I run out of teas/find new teas to try without my cart going away if it’s been up too long. It also makes reviewing and browsing for teas sooo much easier and I absolutely adore it. There are a couple things I feel like could be worked on though. One, I can’t seem to find the rewards section on the app. I know on the website there’s a whole area where you can scroll and see what you can redeem for your rewards, but from what I can find, there’s not an equivalent on the app. Which is fine when I use my rewards for money off, but I do regularly order some teas with my rewards as well so it would be nice if it was easier to do that. Also, the tracking for packages is a little off. It will tell me when a package is on the way, but the actual tracking info never seems to update (it just says the info is not available), and I have to go on my account on the site to click through to the shipping company to see when it’s going to get here. Other than that, I’m stoked to have the app and to be able to have quick access to my daily fix, even if it is just me scrolling idly through teas!

I became a customer of Adagio and started making blends on Adagio in 2012. They have always been very prompt with their orders and have great customer service and unique interactions that I’ve never had with any other company. Out of the dozens of times I’ve ordered tea from them, only 2 small mistakes have occurred and each time they have quickly taken steps to send me a corrected item. I love making blends and accruing points to use to buy tea. I recently got the ComunniTEA box and I’ve really enjoyed having a new tea to sample everyday and interacting with the tea community on their site. This app is a good way to shop and check your orders on the go. The only problem I’ve run into is posting pictures of my tea from the app. You have to connect to Facebook to post a picture but I can’t tell where the picture goes on Adagio’s site. I wish there was a CommuniTEA section in the app where you could post/interact with the daily tea, but maybe that will come in the future. :)

Not only does this company have great tea selection they are extremely responsive to fixing their app when they have issues. I had an issue where after purchasing items, my cart would not clear, I’d manually clear it and it would add items back in during my next purchase. I wrote to the company and they had it fixed within a couple days. I can not rave enough about this company! Great customer service, great response time and the best flavors of tea out of all the companies I’ve tried! You’ve made me a customer for life!

I appreciate the existence of Adagio even if the better teas are getting to be a little too expensive. However, there are benefits and drawbacks to both your website and app experiences. You have created many brands and pruned several, so it would be much better if you had a central company app that could access products across all brands, just like your website. For my most recent order I had to begin it on the website to access coffee and honey with my tea and finish it in the app to be able to easily add an additional address for delivery. I recommend upgrading this app and keeping the same name but simply adding the product categories for your other brands under their brand names within the extant shopping menu.

I need a great cup of tea each morning and I choose great tea houses to satisfy my different preferences. I find myself always going back to Adagio Tea because the quality and variety are exactly what I need. I especially love the Orange flavor. I had been wanting to try the white teas. I bought the Strawberry white tea and am in heaven. It is delicious. When I want a sweeter black tea I find the Candy Apple is exceptional. And I haven’t even started on the many accessories that I have bought. Adagio Teas is always my first choice in buying quality teas.

Love this company! Their tea is lovely. And I wanted to get on and give them kudos for such phenomenal customer service. I received an email telling me my tea had I arrived, but I couldn’t find the package ANYWHERE. When I emailed to ask what I should do, they wrote back within hours to say they would look into the matter for me and if necessary, replace my order. Wonderful company! If I wasn’t already buying most of my tea from them, they would have converted me after this incident!

This is my first time truly liking and enjoying tea - which is saying a lot to me because I work at a very well known coffee chain that has tea as well. I am in love with their teas, their design, and layout. It’s super pretty and really fits well with being a tea website. They also have a huge variety, which is a bit confusing to a beginner like me but that’s definitely not a problem or an issue (: This is the only place I plan on getting tea from for a long time. And their shipping is fast - even in the midst of the Corona virus. However, I have to order on their website still which is no big deal to me. It honestly might be my fault as well, I may be a 19 year old but I’m not very tech savvy lol. It doesn’t take away from my experience at all though!! I 10/10 Recommend Adagio (:

I’ve ordered through the Adagio Tea website before, and I love the selection available. So when I saw that they had an app for purchases, well, color me intrigued. I got it, and I was surprised at how streamlined it is. There’s even a point after purchase where you can offer feedback, which I have to say I’m very grateful for. I hope my advice is heard, but with how busy they are, it might not be always feasible. Highly recommend!

Adagio introduced me to pu-erh, oolong, rooibos, mate, and so much more! I always thought i didn't like green tea but adagio taught me the temperature and timing to brew it properly. I recommend it to everyone, even people who think they don't like tea. It’s affordable, fast shipping, high quality, diverse tea from all over the world and every morning i look forward to a warm cup of something magic from adagio

The tea is very high quality, and I very much appreciate that they also offer hardware for prepping, serving, and storing tea. I have been shopping around other sites for toasted mate, and I genuinely cannot find a better price; some stores are almost double. The app functions great. It’s easy to get in, get tea, and get done. But it also functions well for just browsing around.

I like the app, makes it super easy to shop for tea and look up the ones I already have because I am always forgetting the steep times and temperatures. I took off one star because the app keeps giving me a pop up talking about things in my cart that are now sold out. The only problem is that I have nothing in my cart but keep getting the same stupid pop up. Not a deal breaker but still kind of annoying.

I originally downloaded the app and ordered the most amazing tea. I recently attempted to order again and was prompted to update the app. I did and now it won’t open. I contacted the customer service chat and all it says is that I should download the app. I repeatedly responded that I already have the app but it won’t open since the update. It it continues to prompt me to download the app. I have already deleted it and redownloaded and it’s still the same. Amazing company and product but if your system doesn’t work and I am unable to purchase the product that it means nothing. Do a little better Adagio!

I cannot believe the freshness and flavor varieties available from Adagio. The AP is so easy to use and our whole family enjoys navigating all of the teas, their descriptions and steeping instructions. We keep 30 varieties on hand at a time and not one sits idle throughout the week. Our grown children raid our pantry every weekend. Damon and Taty

First I want to say that I absolutely love Adagio teas. They have a great variety, at great quality and prices. The app is somewhat convenient, but somewhat lacking. For example, there have been teas I am able to find on the website, but not on the app. And there have been times where I tried to post my communiTEA review/pictures and it never registered or gave points. Those are just small problems. But overall, these teas are great!

A friend introduced me to Adagio Teas a few years ago. Since then, I’ve become quite fond of their high quality products, both tea leaves and accessories. I was thrilled to discover that they now have their own app. It was easy to use and allowed for multiple functions (ordering, tracking shipment, reading/writing reviews, monitoring my profile & points). Very happy with it.

I do love the ease of using the app. Overall, I’d recommend it! But, I think there are also some major downsides. One, not all products are listed. I made an order on the website, and when I went to check it on the app most of the items in my order didn’t shown up on the invoice. This also goes for custom blends. I can’t find my own custom blends in the app for some reason. Two, rewards done function well. On the website I’m able to use my points for free shipping. Within the app, this functionality seems to be missing. Three, ingredient lists aren’t available. Again, on the website there are ingredient lists available for some items. These aren’t visible in the app. Still, having said all of this, I do use and make purchases from the app. Here’s to hoping for future improvements!

Best tea company ever! I ordered quite a bit from them recently and they sent 3 extra gifts (one was listed on the site for spending a certain amount, the other two were just nice little surprises 😊) I also got my teas very quickly, I expected a week delivery or so and got them in 4 days. All their tea is high quality loose leaf and flavorful. I love them!

I don’t have any problems with it crashing like others have said. It is easy to use and find teas to order. My orders always include lots of samples. They have many different variety of teas to choose from. They are quick to get orders out but the shipping method they use is very slow. I am on the west coast and orders usually take 7 plus days for them to arrive.

I am true fan of Adagio teas, especially since they are packaging teas in the sample (travel) packs. Great idea and perfect for the person who enjoys a quality cuppa tea. I am not very happy with their app — and I use it often — because it does not rotate to accommodate landscape view screens. This makes it very difficult to use the app when participating in CommuniTEA conversations and when providing previews of their teas. Marcella

I LOVE the VelociTEA brewing system! I love the peach teas. I love the adorable sample tins. I love that I can get points for purchases and for activities. My career was mostly music teacher, so I love that they are called Adagio Teas. Oh! I love how they might include little freebies in my orders. And to think my love of this company all started when I was searching for Disney’s Mad Tea Party and found Adagio’s “Almost Mad Tea Party”. This company is fun!

Every website and app in 2020 allows you to save your login info and auto fill it when you open the page/app. All except Adagio. Why would I go through the hassle of finding my password to use the app when I can auto login in to the website? Just dumb. Love Adagio, hate the app. I should add that I tried to take this concern directly to Adagio but they have ZERO contact information on the site. When you try to find an email address, you get nothing but the FAQ.

Not only are the reviews and passionate people on the website helpful, but the customer service I’ve received for a 4 or so inquiries now have been extremely helpful. I’m so glad I caved into buying loose leaf online instead of just in person since Teavana is now long gone. I’m not even the tiniest bit disappointed.

I know I’m using my correct log in info, but no matter how long I wait, I just keep getting the spinning wheel promising it’s logging in as it does nothing. The app is still useful to check steep times and temperatures for teas. But if I can’t log in, I can’t buy anything and still get my frequent cup points and I can’t access the Communitea from the app. May as well stick to the browser and say “no thanks” to the app suggestion therein.

Adagio tea has caused me to be a tea snob. There, I said it! They have so many varieties of high quality teas and quick service overall. However, their app is garbage. It only loads its log-in page when it wants to. When you click the link that opens the app, it doesn’t send you to the item you showed interest in. It is also clunky in general. This is why I tend to use the website.

I have been a customer for years now. They turned me on to the joy of quality loose leaf tea. They have so many varieties to choose from and you can get samples to try without having to spend a lot. I highly recommend the IngenuiTEA tea pot. It makes brewing loose leaf tea easy and enjoyable.

I’ve been buying tea from Adagio for years. The reviews are extremely helpful in making choices. The selection is amazing! Also they have tea ware and now spices. Shipping is quick and free over a certain amount of purchase. You can earn dollars by reviewing tea as well.

Every Adagio tea I have ordered has been delicious and the descriptions are accurate with incorporating reviews from customers which makes selection much easier than most other tea sites. I love the iced tea bags which makes plain drinking water a pleasure. Thank you Adagio.

As an author, I have created over 40 tees that represent our books and characters are readers love these teams and these tees support charities. I don’t know of any company like adagio that does something this magnificent. I’m all in on adagio.

The tea here is amazing, the app can have issues however. If you delete the app and reinstall it, it should begin to function as normal. I have purchased a lot of tea from this company and only wish there was a local shop I could go to buy some.

If you love quality tea Adagio should be your go to for all your tea, I am so pleased that I found their website and cringe when I’m getting low on tea. My favorite is their White Peach but there are many other options. Try them out, you will not be disappointed.

I had a lot of issues with the app previously, but now it has been updated to perfection. I have zero issues, can get the teas I want quickly and now use my rewards points via the app as well. I am very satisfied.

I’ve been a customer for several years and there are so many things I love about them. They support tea farmers that use good farming practices. They provide excellent knowledge about tea. They offer an amazing variety of teas. They allow you to make your own tea concoction. CommuniTEA is genius ❤️

If you are adventurous with your tea tastes, this is the place. So many of the fandom blends are just brilliant, sometimes surprising combinations. There are certainly some misses- but I think most of the time it is a matter of what you like & not just a weird combinations. Priced right; always fresh;

It’s very difficult to get the shot of the tea to upload to the site for me. Almost every time, I get a message that the server is down. I’ve found that I have to save the picture in my phone’s library then upload it from there to the site. Taking a live pic rarely works.

The Adagio site itself is great, I was able to buy a tea set to a certain fandom of my choosing that someone else had made. However, on the app, none of the teas that I had found on the site show up, and furthermore, these teas that I had wishlisted also do not show up on the app. I hope for this to be fixed in the future. I

I accidentally found this place and I’ve been hooked ever since. They have a great variety of tea, great education and great customer service. Also the prices are better than some other places.

If you’re a customer of Adagio, this app is pretty fantastic. Relatively easy to navigate menus, simple and easy check out options, newly added tea timer (that I don’t need but I’m sure many find handy). And the added community features are a very nice touch, just to see what others are saying about different teas. Good job, Adagio. Best tea app I’ve used.

On the website you can see the full list of ingredients for tea blends as well as steeping time. The review update system is bugged on the app as well, when you try to update your review it posts a duplicate review. Other aspects of the app work well like viewing your favorites, the different product pages, and viewing product pages.

Generally, not a bad app. Had the same issue that others reported with the flashing on load. Reinstalling the app to fixed it for me. My main complaint is the master collection is not on the app and a different website.

The app has improved a lot. I still want to see a badge/notification on the bottom menu when I get a message or when I put something in the cart. So far so good but we will see how it goes.

I love the variety and options of Adagio. Making my own blends is the best part amongst their giant inventory. Normally I avoid apps and use a web browser for most vendors but this app is clear, concise and user friendly. It’s actually faster to use than the website.

I love Adagio. So far this is the best place I have found to get teas. The quality is good and the selection is outstanding. The app, however, is terrible. It does not update to match the website or your account. You have to delete and reinstall the app every time you want to use it if you want it synced to your account or the website. That is confirmed with their customer service person. It one time use only. Epic fail.

The app makes ordering tea and many other products very easy! They have any flavor of tea you could want. I have at least 20 different flavors in my cupboard. They also sell lots of useful tea tools to make tea.

I love tea and this app and company combines everything I love in one! The teas are amazing they have options of a sample or you can get the bigger sizes. All around amazing app and amazing tea! Highly suggest and recommend!! The shipping is really fast for me I got it in just one day! The prices are great and great quality!

Terrible customer service. The app glitches after updates and you have to remove it and uninstall to get it working again. They also remove promotions randomly (even if they were available when you made an order), so don’t expect that any offers are valid, even if the app reassures you that they will be included with your order! Really unimpressed, especially given how EXPENSIVE the products are!

There are still a few bugs to iron out – the biggest two, imo, being that it doesn’t show orders the same as the website, and you can’t make your own blends on the app – but this app does let you buy fantastic teas!

I’ve been ordering tea and accessories for over 10 years and rarely buy tea elsewhere because why. Adagio has an incredible selection and I love to be able to support small or family growers. I’ve turned friends and relatives on to adagio!!

this app is very good, the UI is nice, its easy to see deals and find what you want. There are two things i dont like / understand though. I cant find anywhere a list of my own custom blends. Maybe im just missing it, but if thats the case it should be easier to find. And second, why cant we make our own blends in the app? This one is less important to me because I mostly use the app for purchasing, but it still would be a nice feature overall the app works great and is easy to use. the adagio store is one of the best places to buy teas and tea accessories.

I have bought over 200 of little sample tins for genshin impact (not sponsored) and i drink it every day. Not a single one has been disappointing! There is a lot of love and care put into all of their products

I’m really rating because I love Adagio’s tea! I would like to see easier access to the CommuniTEA menu, as it takes some searching in the social section of the app to get there. But it’s great for tea lovers, highly recommend!
