This app isn’t like the others. It’s a one-time payment (completely worth it) and doesn’t rain ads on you. Nor does it cost credits. It’s simple and to the point. The fact that it also creates the best results out of any app I’ve tried is the cherry on top. Trust me review: this is the app you’re looking for.
The description is vague as to how it works. It appears to use stable diffusion (open source). Needless to say, it does not run directly on your device, but must connect to the Internet—the artwork is generated on remote servers. That means if the servers go down, the app will stop working. Still, you can get your money’s worth out of this quickly if you use it a lot. Fidelity to the prompt is not always very good. For example, i prompted “Tim Cook showing off the latest iPhone“ and it showed a knight, a cyborg and other things but none of the images looked like Tim Cook. In another app I use, all of the images looked like Tim Cook. When I requested “Rembrandt in the style of Rembrandt,“ it worked great, but when I prompted “Rembrandt painting a self portrait,“ it always gave me a “unknown error!“ On the plus side, the images are a lot higher resolution than they appear on your phone. If you download them to a device with a large screen like a computer, you will be able to enjoy them in their full resolution, which is pretty decent!
Unlike some people on the Internet, I never claim any of the images created by the AI to be my own, and I never post any of the AI images. I find this to be a handy app. As a creator, its become a valuable tool in helping me think about my design and other directions than I might typically be thinking. Among the issues I have with this app is it tends to crash frequently and will not re-open unless I reinstall the app. Every time I do this, it loses everything created to date. The same thing happens whenever the app is updated. It was updated about a month ago, I had some great images that I probably should’ve saved, but were lost forever, along with the prompts I used to create them. I had some good prompts that were lost. The last update also made all of the in-app prompts unattainable. They are now at the top of the screen and beyond the top without any way to scroll to them, and the visible ones are not usable as nothing happens when touched. Lastly, the app will give a dozen NSW before it finally produces an image that is not always useful. As an adult who paid for this app, I should be the one to decide what to view, not the app or developer. If you don’t want minors to view questionable material, put parental controls on the app. I love that this is usable on my iPad. I only wish it were better.
It’s a nice AI art generator. Of course I don’t like that artists don’t get credit when their art is used for AI, but this works and does a fairly decent job depending on what you input into the description/ prompt. I like that it has examples and that you can generate a prompt more than once. And it’s great that it doesn’t have in-app purchases or it doesn’t seem to make you pay to use it after a couple of uses like other AI art generators. Although sometimes doesn’t work/ the app crashes when there’s no WiFi or if the prompt is tricky. The images come out small and blurry (unless enhanced). Results can occasionally look uncanny valley, but it’s pretty good overall.
This app just keeps getting worse. I used to have the full version some time ago but good luck if you get a new phone, purchases don't restore so you lose everything. Also several of the good styles were removed. You have to do a separate process to upscale to get a decent size image. And now the thing that has pushed me over the edge to deleting this app is the default saving to iCloud. I don't want my images in the cloud! There's a toggle to turn it off above each image but it keeps reverting. Even though I have iCloud turned off for this app in the phone settings it still keeps saving there. I've had enough of this app and sadly it must go. Too bad, it had so much potential.
I was very happy with the results until around the end of the first week of February 2023 when the app just started to quit at random times. Sometimes it would not even launch. Prior to that it generated pretty great pictures, although you had to be thoughtful about how you phrased the prompt. Also you need to balance the weight it gives to the prompt vs the weight it gives to any picture you might give it as a guide. Some combinations just don’t work. It takes a fair amount of trial and error to get it to do what you want. But as of now, Feb15, it is not really functional.
I got this a while ago and it was great fun to play with as it was an art generator This generated some great pictures that I loved after I purchased it. What happened to this app? I can no longer use it to make art pictures It takes pictures and turns them into avatars. No more funny animal pictures. In addition, now you want to charge me again and it it no longer generates art pictures. Goodbye as as it will be deleted after this review. I did not get it for the fancy avatars. I got it as it made great pictures. Especially since it use to make great teddy bear pictures.
I’ve been creating beautiful images with this app but today when I went to use it, the app immediately shuts down after briefly displaying a black screen, so I can no longer use it. The feedback link on the app apparently goes to an unmonitored email account because I never got a response. Hope support sees this email and addresses the problem.
App keeps crashing I’ve deleted and reinstalled several times but all I keep getting is an unknown error message on both my Ipad 4th generation and my Iphone 13 pro.
When I first downloaded it, I opened the app and typed in a prompt. Hit submit and it keeps telling me that it’s empty. I keep trying and it continues to say the text is empty. So I press random generator out of frustration to see if it works… of course it works and I wasted my ONE free image generator. So I decide to do the free trial, confirm and everything is set. Once again, I type in my prompt and choose my style. It says I need to sign up or try the free trial. Which I already did. It won’t allow me to do anything and I’m stuck in a loop of endless frustration.
Not useful. Don’t buy this app. If you put in two words - it only processes one of them. As an example - I typed “rainbow puppies” and it processed a nice rainbow wallpaper - but no puppies. It took a full minute to load, and then didn’t even process properly. You can “adjust” it - but in my experience - it takes just as long for a result that is pretty much the same. I got this app for free - so I think it’s fine to mess with if you’re bored. But you certainly can’t create a world out of words here. I’ve seen AI art in action - and this is not what you want.
I enjoy the app a lot, my complaint is that it crashes. I haven’t been able to open it for 2 days now. I uninstalled and tried it again but still doesn’t work. I need help otherwise it’s useless until it’s fixed.
This app is what I say is the future of humans working with AI. I’m very surprised how unique this app is. It’s like a machine that can mold my imagination into a complete picture. It has so much potential for development. Truly amazing!
I would give it a 5*, but the result of transforming a reference IMG2IMG to a specific style is irrelevant. Here’s a list of functionalities I hope you will add in the upcoming 2.1 or 3.0 update: - Fix the error popup that shows up after every 2/3 generated images - GPT-3 based comprehension of prompts - Add the following models: Realistic Vision, Dreamshaper, Waifu Diffusion, Anything, Analog, Photoreal, Automatic1111, Hassanblend, and Protogen - Seed guidance - Add sampler, model hash and denoising features - Extended positive and negative prompts text limit - Inpainting and outpainting options - An experimental diffuser training model feature or standalone app (TestFlight)
About 2/3 of the time, I get an error message. However, when it does actually generate an image, it’s pretty accurate in terms of the prompt I entered. The developer should consider changing the animated progress image (displayed while an image is processing). The flashing colors may be seizure-inducing—certainly painful to look at.
Very cool app. and I appreciate the promo (temporarily gone free) — but Developer, would you Please, Please, Pretty-Please enable landscape viewing mode so I can go to town with it on my iPad Pro 12.9. …and Developer, kindly let me know if/when you enable landscape so I can add two more stars — thanks again for the freebie and for an otherwise excellent app👍
Highly recommend if you are new to using AI Art generators. Great way to practice using different descriptive terms to generate unique, one of a kind pieces of art. Hours of entertainment! I can’t believe it’s truly free!
This AI is not even trying to be creative or follow your prompt.
This AI makes very little effort to change anything when you want it to make something closer to your prompt. Want it to take more steps so it’d be more meticulous of matching your prompt? No changes. Give it a scale to be as close as your prompt as possible? Just one piece is changed. Either this AI has very little creativity or it’s just plain lazy. Not even worth it.
Ok so I have been using this app for days, and not gonna lie when I said that I'm somewhat additcted now. I could spend hours on this app, so to be fair to say, this is the best app that I ever downloaded!!
The AI doesn’t allow you to get specific about anything. I tried to have it generate numerous artworks and it only latches onto the first word. It couldn’t draw a dog driving a car. It couldn’t make a scene with two dogs playing cards, only one dog. It felt extremely limited as opposed to what I’ve seen other AI art generators do. Waste of money and time. Use a different one.

I only used this for a short time. I downloaded because it claimed to write lyrics , etc. it does not, and has a very limited prompt selection compared to several others I’ve used. Not impressed.
it was one of the best, most user friendly, fun to use. But since the fixes two weeks ago it doesnt work, a week ago it came on for an hour then nothing since. Their support only goes to career mail and Ive contacted Apple three times and they havent even returned any info. We will wait and see......
Whether you’re extremely specific & detailed with the art piece you want, or keep it short and simplistic, it doesn’t produce what you type at all. It usually only takes one word from your prompt & makes something with just that alone. Don’t buy this.
I signed up for a subscription to test it free for 3 days, it keeps asking me to sign up for a subscription. I click to sign up, it says I’m already subscribed. I try to generate art, and get a message to sign up. If this works before the three days are up I’ll give another review.
When I was prompted to subscribe to the app it stated that I would not be charged until the end of my three day trial and as soon as I agreed I was charged and the app flags words as NSFW when there’s nothing inappropriate in the prompt
Maybe I’m doing something wrong but when ever I try to generate something the app will crash or prompt an error. Even restarted my phone deleted and redownloaded the app and still got the same error
I have this on my iPad and my iPhone and I just can’t get it to work when I hit generate nothing happens nothing! I try to contact the developer and tell them my problem and I have not received a response
This doesn't do what it's supposed to. I give it a description to follow and the image "created" in only the most basic way reflects anything that I have asked for.
I tried this app on my phone, pad, and mac. whatever I type into the promp I get the same result. "prompt empty" thats all it does. good internet connection, up to date ios.
It is not AI generated art, it is ai search for art that already exists. Not one of the random combinations I put in came back with any art whatsoever. Even some of the one word searches came back as “error”
I’ve got four words for YOU. THIS. GAME. IS. HORRIBLE. I tried to generate a picture, but it says you have to spend 3.99 a WEEK!!!! I was like “ Okay, I’m deleting this app RIGHT NOW!!!” This app is horrible and I definitely DO NOT recommend IT. ( this is me: >:0 >:( )
It said it was five dollars and that was all. The first picture was a mess. And the second picture asked for a weekly subscription fee. Immediately I deleted the app.
