I’ve been a regular customer of American Tall for roughly a year now without ever leaving a review because I’m lazy. They’re products are great and the fit is amazing. It’s the only store where I can purchase long sleeve shirts, sweaters, and jackets that don’t fit me like a garbage bag. Today however, I purchased a pair of pants in the wrong size. I noticed immediately and sent a request to have it changed. Stefanie Gallo sent me a follow up email no less than 2 hours later saying the correction had been made. Very responsive customer service during the holiday season deserved a review, so here I am. Thanks a bunch Stefanie!
I’m a tall (6’0”) woman who grew up without clothes that fit properly. In early adulthood it became more common for some big name stores to offer tall sizes as online exclusives and I honestly thought that might be as good as it would get. Finding American Tall online was such a treat - I’ve been wearing some exceptionally comfortable sweatpants and a v-neck top that true feel like they were made for me. Planning to try purchasing jeans in the future because I’d like to support a company that is making high quality clothing for tall people! ❤️🦒❤️
I’m 6’7” and 195 lbs. Shopping for clothes has always been impossible and depressing. Then I found American Tall. The clothes look great, are well constructed and reasonably priced. I don’t know anything about their return process, because after 4 orders, I haven’t received anything I didn’t like or that didn’t fit like a glove. It’s been really helpful that the product descriptions often tell you the height and weight of the models and what size they wear.
I love ordering clothes for my husband from this store. He is tall and skinny so the problem he usually runs into is that he orders a size up so the shirts are longer but then they get too wide. The AT brand shirts are long and don’t just balloon out. They also hold up to washing AND I can actually throw them in the dryer without worrying they will become crop tops!
I bought a pair of pants size 34x36. And even though they were labeled as such, they were obviously 36x36 I started a return on the website and was refused. I contacted customer support and the requested photographic evidence. Note that the top of every page of their website says “EASY RETURNS” in all caps. They finally said that the product didn’t qualify for a return because it was a clearance item. I never saw this warning anywhere, but apparently it’s at the bottom of their checkout page which wasn’t even visible in my browser. Regardless, they had sent me a mislabeled product, which they should replace or refund. They refused. I even wrote the CEO and received no response. They only conceded when I reported them to PayPal. They offered to send me a replacement pair of pants and I dropped the case. But the pants never showed up. And it’s now obvious they just wanted me to drop the case. I have since reopened the case and have reported them to the BBB and FTC.
I find myself frustrated every time I use the app. There is no easy way to sort through everything and you can’t set any filters. It shouldn’t be hard to just find all the women’s pants in one place…. And trying to scroll through all the sizing charts is such a headache. It should be simple to find the size chart but I legit searched for 5 minutes for the women’s dress pants measurements. The clothes you guys sell are incredible, I just hate the app. Its not user friendly.
I would like to have a search bar for item that I already know the names of. I would also enjoy adding items to a wishlist because sometimes it is difficult to find what I previously liked without have a section for my liked items.
I love American Tall and order from the website, but the app isn’t as user friendly. There’s not an area to search for what I want, and not categories like “leggings, pants, tees, tanks” etc. to click on to shop, you kind of have to look at a lot of different things to find what you want. I’m hoping they will update as I know they are new! Love the clothing so much!
I have ordered from American Tall over 10 times the past few years. Every order is better than the last! Ever since I found AT I have been slowly converting my entire wardrobe. I wish I could pay a ton of money to come to HQ and fully commit my wardrobe to American Tall!
I like the brand, but the app isn’t doing you any favors
The entire loading page is just whatever is on promo, which I guess is par for the course. But why is the search function so hidden? If I am looking for mens pants, it takes a fair amount of clicking around to get there. When I do, there’s no ability to filter based on things like size, fit, or color. It makes it actively harder to shop on the app and made me go somewhere else for my purchase.
I have always had shirts that were short and when I found these that have my size in tall, I was excited! The clothing is amazing and I love it! This is where I will be getting my clothes from now on. Only note is that the wishlist doesn’t work on the app and I’d love to see that feature working on the app. Besides that, love it!
I am a 6’2” woman in her 30’s and I am so glad AT exists! Their quality is unmatched and worth the price. My pants fit, my shirt sleeves are long enough, and I am satisfied. I do wish that the women’s section was easier to navigate and the clothes a little more stylish though.
I have a 6’4” teenage son with a 30” waist. Finding pants that fit have been a nightmare! Finally found this online store. It’s been amazing. Very nice quality. Very trendy styles. Very decent prices. Glad to have found this place!
FINALLY a place that realizes there are guys taller than 5'11"! ALSO a place where you don't have to be BIG and tall to find clothes! Yes, a store that carries clothes for very tall and thin guys too! I just wish American Tall existed 30 years ago! Fortunately, my son has this resourse where I buy our clothes from. Love the jeans!
Thank goodness there is FINALLY somewhere to buy tall clothes for thin people!!!!! Fast, efficient service. No hassle returns. Clothes my 16y old will wear. The only thing that would make him happier would be if this sizing would include brand names.......but I’ll take it as is!!!!!! Strong work! Thank you!!!
Been a tall dude my whole life (I’m 6’9”) and discovered American Tall a couple years ago. All clothes I’ve purchased from them have been quality and fit nicely. Love this company and I would recommend to any tall guy!
I had such trouble finding my tall skinny son pants that fit correctly. He is tall and lanky . I have purchased the sweatpants and they are great! The pants wash really nice and the quality is great. I will definitely be purchasing more as the fall and winter come.
I just want to let you know how much my husband and I love your clothing. Thank you for making a women’s line! I’m 6’6 and he’s 6’9. If you need models just let us know haha. Your clothes have changed our lives ❤️
This app is great, but there’s no filter option like there is on the website. You can sort, but can’t filter. That drove me right back to the site instead of the app. Once that’s added in, I’ll come back to the app!
I’m a 16 year old girl and I recently discovered you guys and IM SO HAPPY I DID!!! I couldn’t find white sweatpants that fit my height (5’10.5, 34 inch inseam) ANYWHERE!! I WENT BACK TO YOUR SIGHT AND SAW THAT NOT ONLY UOU HAD A CUTE PAIR OF WHITE ONES, BUT BLACK ONES, GREY ONES, AND PINK ONES!! IM SO EXCITED I CANT WAIT TO ALL THE COLORS!! THANK YOU GUYS SOO MUCH!!
Kind of crazy to have an app like this not include search or filter functions. Additionally, a selected item should include all its color options. There’s no reason for separate colors to be listed as completely different items.
This app is very easy to use. The UI is very intuitive and responsive. If I had to make on critique I’d say a dark theme would be a really nice addition.
AT is awesome! I am 6’8” 240 and have always had an issue finding stylish clothes that fit. Keep up the good work AT! Customer for life if you keep it up.
There needs to be a save for later option in the shopping cart. I will add clothes but need to edit for budgeting but I can’t safe clothes for buying latter :/
I’ve had three pair of sweatpants from this company, all 3 pair of sweatpants zipper on the left pocket if you zip the zipper all the way down to the bottom it just comes off and it’s virtually impossible to put it back on and now I can’t get in contact with someone to return
