I was seriously stressed out about Remodeling and what I wanted to do with my kitchen. So I found this app was a bit skeptical at first but when I started using it,it changed my perspective on the remodel. It has a ton of free features that other apps didn’t have that I was looking at so I could give me a better idea of what I wanted in my remodel. Super easy to use and it was super easy to show our contractor. I definitely recommend this app even if you’re not technically savvy that’s how easy it is.
I’ve never remodeled my kitchen before but with the use of ARKitchen I’ve had more fun trying to achieve my dream kitchen with the variety and easy usage of the features provided. I didn’t even know half of the appliances existed but I would 100% recommend this to a friend if they wanted to remodel their kitchen in a timely and easy manner.
My wife and I are in the process of trying to figure out our kitchen remodel. Found this free app and it gives me so many options like cabinets styles, backsplash, countertop textures, colors, floors etc. it also gives you an AR view of your selections—while a bit cartoonish it is exactly what we needed to narrow down our style choices! Great app!
If all you want is some cabinets against the walls that you can see and design in your head, then you don't need this, and that is all this is good for. I can't place a full length 45 degree angled to the wall face of a cabinet in the corner of the L of a kitchen. Trying to get the refrigerator next to that to the correct scale was impossible unless you are the designer of the program possibly. Full length cabinets anywhere and or full length cabinets to house oven etc at 45 angle not apparently possible. Double door full length cabinets at 45 angle not possible. Visualization can be done with paper and pencil.
This app would be be great if you’re looking for a rough idea of what you want your future kitchen to look like. The app does need some bug fixes but, I’m sure they’ll be fixed in the near future!
Great for those who are looking to remodel their kitchen. App provides different layout design options, finishes and appliance options and allows you to put in existing kitchen dimensions so you don’t need to demo any walls
It’s easy to use and they have lots of free assets and layouts/templates. You can even make a custom layout. I really recommend if you wanna design kitchens in AR or if you just wanna play around with AR.
Even though I bought the premium version for a month, it was a complete waste. It is so limited. It generates what it deems a floor plan and you can’t remove cabinets. Unless you have a cookie cutter kitchen and want to play around with colors or limited moving around of appliances, it is useless.
Utterly useless. Seems impossible to get views that allow anything more than approximate placement of kitchen elements. Very limited palette of appliances and finishes (even if paying for available options). A pencil and paper are much faster and more flexible.
My guess is whoever developed this APP knows how to design the APP an NOT a kitchen. Trying to use this APP is extremely frustrating and waste of time! As far as support with questions, your on your own!
The camera requirement ruins the app. I don’t want to stand in my kitchen trying to design. The design area doesn’t stay on the screen. It moves around and completely disappears. Really strange app. Deleted
This app is terrible!!! I tried making a design for my kitchen. I wasn’t able to place cabinets or appliances because the screen just kept jumping all over the place to the point where I ended up deleting it! DO NOT PURCHASE!!!
Please look into why the app keeps glitching my iOS is up to date it keeps saying AR session failed my camera is accessible too there is glitch on your end
