When I sought "art prompts" in the app store, this was literally one of three that came up, and the only one related to the search topic. Good thing its such an awesome app! I'd love it completely if there were a way to view all available colors, mediums, etc in one's repertoire (such as all default & purchased mediums), as well as a way to filter the prompts to include only that which one selects from these, as an option. Two suggestions to go above-and-beyond: first: links to Wiki/definitions/popup that explains & describes–with examples–each medium and style; second: ability to add one's own colors, mediums, etc after having bought all packs! (that's an idea in progress... I'll leave it to the developers to take it & run with it... Or not! :)
Love his app. If you are an artist struggling then this will help you so much instantaneously! Good for the young and old alike. Not saturated with the same prompts but consistently giving you new ideas! Highly recommended!
If you’re gonna charge for this game at least ensure it even l o a d s. Everytime I open up the app, it freezes on the title and I end up waiting for up to 30 minutes for something to happen. I can’t even use the app.
Very few people will want to have a style, colors or material suggestions. I feel like most people, myself included, want it to give me a specific subject or scene to draw. Was really hoping for something useful.
I love all of the "prompt" idea generator programs by this company and I would love the "party prompts" one as well, but it is total crap because it is not optimized to fit within the screen of the ipad, rendering it unusable, unlike the other prompt apps by this company which work just fine visually and interactively. So, buy the others if you like creative idea generators but avoid the party one which needs some serious bugs worked out. Also, reviews have "conveniently" been disabled on the party prompts app, I noticed. :-( I hope this company fixes the problem with that app because I really enjoy all of the others and would like to see what the possibilities are therein.
This is just what I was looking for to help spark my own creativity when I have a block as well as my students'. Is there any way you could add an optional daily alert feature? Maybe randomize just like when you shake, only it pops up at the same time each day?
Well, it tries to write your review for you. That's stupid. "Sparks my creativity" is a phrase you can paste as a default... true irony. Other than that, it's actually an okay app. Five stars, because it's cheap and does what I bought it to do without screwing up or pasting constant ads.
This app is great! Just from looking at the preview pictures I'm getting inspired. I love making art but sometimes I need a little inspiration. This app helps with just that. I feel so inspired!
I don’t understand the negative reviews. App does exactly what it shows it does and is neither too vague nor too specific, it’s also the only prompt generator I’ve found that suggests a medium. As of now (10/2021) the app loads fine and works in both landscape and portrait mode on the iPad Pro. The in-app purchases are 99¢ for additional Prompt Packs, each consisting of an extra 450 keywords, 100 objects, and 10 color suggestions but the basic prompts are more than enough (450 keywords, 10 colors, and 60 sketches/objects to include). So all in all, great little, simple app that’s exactly what I was looking for- 5 stars. 👍
Not enough info on how to use the, yes there are prompts, patches of color, but no info on how or what to do with them. I love the concept but need help understanding them.
