I stumbled across AvantStay from their Instagram and just had to check out this app. Not only do they have some of the best interior design I’ve seen in vacation rentals, but they also have these add-on / concierge-like services that make your vacation so much better than the rest. You can book an in-home massage from your phone!! This app is super easy to use.. my favorite part is being able to search homes without picking a location (take me anywhere!) You’re also able to maintain contact with guest support through it whenever you need. 10/10, thank you AvantStay!
We stayed at the Springsteen property in Nashville for my daughter’s 21st birthday. The house was beautiful! There was plenty of space for all 10 of us, and the place was extremely clean and spacious. We didn’t spend a lot of time at the house, as we were busy enjoying all that Nashville has to offer. But it was so nice to come back to the Springsteen property at the end of each day. I would definitely stay again.
Location of home was outstanding, convenient to the beach and Belmont Park. Wonderful place to walk. The home itself is a great size for a large group. Home needs maintenance and deep cleaning. The appliances need to be replaced. There are 2 dishwashers and both were broken. AvantStay sent paper plates, bowls, cups and silverware which helped but with 14 people there was still a lot of hand dishwashing that had to be done. The dryer took hours to dry anything and it made a lot of noise. The patio has dead plants and the outdoor spa did not look inviting. It was a good space, but for the money we paid the home should have been in much better shape.
This home was all we expected and more! It was extremely clean and in an amazing location. The home was stocked with everything you would need in the kitchen. The beds were very comfortable and perfect space for young children as well. The outdoor area has safe space for the kids to play and an amazing hot tub that the adults enjoyed. We will most definitely be staying here again!
I stayed in an AvantStay home in the Smokies last week. It was AMAZING. The home was beautiful & full of cool stuff like a movie theater room, an indoor pool, two hot tubs, two arcade games, a pool table & probably even more that I’m forgetting 😱 I had all of the guests book their rooms through the app prior to arrival which was super easy & prevented any arguments once we got there lol! Loved our vacation and can’t wait to book again 🤩
10/10 would recommend this company for all of your short term home rental needs…the app is super user friendly and allows you to book added concierge services during your stay! The local teams are there for any issues during your stay & the design of the homes can’t be beat!
AvantStay rented us a home that they did not have.
We rent a luxury home through AvantStay. When we arrived to check in, the owners of the home were at the house and said it was not for rent. Avant apologized and put us in a temporary home. They then required us to move to another home. After two days in that home they told us they did not have authority to rent us that home and required us to vacate same day. They put us in a fourth home that was awful. They rented us three houses in ten days that they did not have the authority to rent to us and that they required us to move. We did nothing wrong, we honored our contract with Avant, we have been more than flexible with all of their mistakes and their breach of contract, and they have not honored their contract with us and they have not supported us as a client. This is a huge inconvenience and completely unacceptable. Their customer service is awful and they would not return calls or emails. Stay away.
I’ve been to two avantstay vrbos now and both times take away from the experience. Booking is more work with verification procedures (not a huge deal) but I also got 3 texts threatening law enforcement because we were too loud. My two children were asleep on the couch next to me at 8:30 in the evening and they started texting. We were not loud at all. I guess there was a noise monitor somewhere in the house. Just dumb stuff I don’t need to worry about. If there are multiple options next trip I’ll be sure to book the one that’s NOT avantstay. Just go away avantstay. No one wants you.
I’ve stayed with AvantStay a few times now and love the beautiful homes and services they provide. The best part is being able to do everything through the app. I was able to book a sunset massage by the pool through the app and it was one of the best experiences of my vacation in Palm Springs. I can’t wait to stay with AvantStay again!
I 10/10 recommend AvantStay. Their whole structure is phenomenal. Their service is like no other. It is unbelievable that their local property manager will go out of their way to make sure you as a guest are satisfied; such as bringing over beach toys or picking up your groceries from the store. Again 10/10 recommend!!
Downloaded the app after booking through the AvantStay website. It made it easy to manage my reservation and view any information I needed for my stay. I liked that I was able to request a late check out directly through the app. Highly recommend this app if you are booking an AvantStay home.
Please read this. This company is absolutely deplorable. Their customer service is AI and non existent. We rented a property in telluride that was over $1000 a night. The reason we chose it is because it had a spa and sauna. Both of these had major issues. The spa was green and reeked of fish. They finally got it cleaned for the final night. It was not completely clean but we used it anyways. The spas RETURN VALVE did not have a grate over it. It sucked my foot into the pipe and caused a great deal of pain and bruising. It was not easy to remove my foot off the pipe. THIS COULD HAVE DROWNED AND KILLED ANY CHILD UNDER AGE 10. The property was dirty. The sauna had spider webs and did not get hot. This company does not care about their owners or their renters. They are a billion dollar corporation located in Los Angeles. They offered us a small refund. Not even enough to cover dinner for three in telluride. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM. THEY ARE THIEVES.
this app has all the information you need when staying in an AvantStay property! it has great information on all the didferent concierge services they offer with all the home details you need during your stay. will have to book through the app next time!
The AvantStay app made it super easy to book and manage my last stay. No more searching through emails to find reservation confirmations or details. Check-in instructions and the all info you need for your trip are right in the app
This is the second time I stay at an Avant property and the whole experience was amazing. I stayed in Malibu and the vibe that I got from the house was so unique, definitely better than Airbnb’s. Loved it! As a suggestion, I would like to be able to book future stays in the App and see everything in an agenda. Thank you!!
This was one of the best homes we have stayed at. Safe neighborhood & the pool literally across the street was a plus for us. Well equipped home. Also appreciated the welcome gift. Thank you for being so attentive to our needs! Definitely recommend booking this home!
AvantStay ruined our vacation. We booked a property ten months in advance of a festival to secure lodging in an extremely small town. Five months later, AvantStay emailed us saying our reservation was cancelled due to the property being delisted. Instead of moving us into another property, we were left to fend for ourselves. There were no affordable options available for us to stay anymore, and AvantStay only offered us a 5% discount on booking a new place (which would still mean paying 50% more than we originally did). I’m completely disgusted by how they treat their customers, and even though I’ve had good experiences with them in the past I will never been booking again with AvantStay. Be warned. And Tere, if you’re reading this, thank you for ruining our vacation!!!
Stunning properties, big or small they have it all. Love the changes and updates they’ve done to the app, like being able to search for the name of the property, definitely faster to book a place you see and like from their Instagram.
We were so happy with this home. And the AvantStay App makes it so easy. The home was super clean and has beautiful furnishings and decor. We will definitely book here again and recommend it to friends and family!

This house was beautiful! The back porch and fire pit was so much fun! The pool, pool table, arcade, and theater room was all on one floor so the kids LOVED it!! 6 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms it was so big!! We will definitely be back
We tried to used them before and they cancelled the stay 10 days before. We were given a credit and now the day before our trip, they say they have no house for us.
Nothing loads. And I want to be able to go directly to the actual house listing from my reservation so I can see all the pictures of the house. Not a helpful app.
They stole $1,100 from me. Avoid at all costs! I cancelled my booking four months in advance. In violation of their own policy, they offered me a $0 refund (after lying about how much they would refund and the reasons why). Please avoid these scammers!
This app does not have any reviews of properties. The property we are staying at has problems with wifi, tv, parking, ice maker which is very disappointing.
The app no longer opens after the latest iOS update. Today is 12/10/2023. The app opens, shows the splash screen, then closes immediately. I am running iOS 17.1.2 (21B101) on an iPhone 11 Pro Max. Hope it gets fixed soon!
The app asks for a 4 digit code which I type in every time and it doesn’t recognize. Please fix bug…..I know this app will be cool when I can use it, so 5 stars :)
Had a rough start due to a mix up on the location where we were staying. The vrbo site messaging is very confusing and the avant stay generic responses make it hard to determine who you are talking to. Once we got to the location, the house was big and spacious with a big yard down below. There is a very steep driveway. It is not a child friendly home. The upper deck has railings that are not to code and a baby up to any young child could fit through and fall to a concrete area below. The sliding doors don’t have good locks for day uses or have screens to keep the children in. The screens on the upper windows popped out easily and a child could fall right out of them. We were on constant watch. The yard has Astro turf and has large holes underneath and the edges have nails sticking up so you couldn’t just let kids play. The bathrooms are old with fixtures that didn’t work properly and if you are taller than 5’8” you didn’t fit in the shower. The kitchen didn’t have a can opener or hot pads. The refrigerator has a drawer broke and a trash can cabinet was broken. There were no wash cloths to wipe up spills and nothing to spray to clean counters. They asked not to put food down sink but had not drain catch to help with that. Several of us had bites and encountered larger spiders in our stuff and towels. The furniture is uncomfortable, stained and cumbersome to sit in. However, when I asked the avant stay team to help us with issues during our stay, they were on top of it and got us what we needed immediately. Beds and pillows are nice. Would be nice to have a curtain barrier between the trundle and main bed area so they could have some privacy. The yard lights never go off and make it difficult to sleep with lights on all night. House has a great view, close to many things and is still a nice property just needs a little updating and care.
We spent over $5,000.00 for a week stay through AvantStay. Although the location was good and beds were comfortable, nothing worked properly. The hot water never actually got more than luke warm. The quality of everything was horrible. Half the baseboards were missing. Everything was painted terribly. The pool was never clean and we couldn't get in it. The water was low in the pool, the filters didn't work. The fridge shelves were all broken and duct taped back. The bathrooms are not up to code, one of our guest fell in the shower that has over a foot drop down with no hand rail. There are no hand rails anywhere throughout the home. The cabinets all did not open or close properly as they were installed next to brick improperly. We noticed that all of these items were on old reviews, and with the reviews being so old, we would have thought these items would have been addressed. We ended up leaving and staying elsewhere. The home was absolutely horrific. Your company should not ever rent this home to anyone again unless it is strictly for a bachelor party where people are just getting black out drunk and don't notice or care about where they stay. Also, the vanities in the bathrooms are rotting away, and there is a lot of water damage. Also, there were a lot of lights that did not work properly. The granite countertop in the kitchen has a crack from one end to the other, which is also not hygienic. Also, per code the back door is supposed to have an alarm that beeps when it is opened. It doesn't. You would get more enjoyment setting your money on fire than renting anything here. This company is all crooks.
