I have been trying this app for few days to deposit check on mobile app, each time it says “ go to mobile app for deposit” I reinstalled the app but problem did not resolve. It was so much easier on pedestal bank Aap. Is there anyone who can share the experience of mobile deposit.
I opened my account with Business 1st over 10 years ago when there were only 2 locations, 1 in Baton Rouge and 1 in Shreveport. They were friendly and helpful then and are still to this day. Being a Senior it’s still nice when someone calls you by name and knows your children. I’ve had the opportunity to watch them grow methodically while never forgetting how they got there. I think the app is really close to being great. 2 major issues: 1. It takes too long for deposits or debits to show up in the app. 2. When using business bill pay, it would be very convenient and give peace of mind if the amount used in bill pay was immediately removed from the account. Right now, it doesn’t show up until it has been shipped, received and also deposited. It’s difficult to know quickly how much is actually still in the account.
It’s hard to navigate. The size of the pages on the app are way too big. I shouldn’t have to move side to side or up and down too see most things. I thought I sent a payment and never seen it pulled from my account or pending. I tried the process again and the submit button wasn’t visible. You had to scroll down to hit the submit. (Page needs to be smaller)Ugh!! I understand this is a smaller bank but the bank I had previously (before they bought them out) was also a smaller bank and their app was awesome. Hope they figure this out.
I have accounts at multiple banks and B1 is by far the easiest to deal with. This is my first experience with a small town bank and because of their exceptional service it will probably be my last because I plan on moving everything to them.
Love this app makes banking with my bank so easy can’t live with out this app because of my work schedule I can’t go into the bank to do my business with this app I can manage everything myself right from my phone and it’s has no glitches or hasn’t been hacked to my knowledge
Not every day you find a bank that you are comfortable banking at but this bank is the best. I enjoy using The app it shows you every time you make a transaction and for a busy mom on the go it’s just what I need.
I just got this app because Pedestal bank made us switch to it. I really really do not like the layout or how it works. The pedestal bank mobile app was very clean and well done. This app is difficult to read at most times Bc it just looks very cluttered in comparison to the Pedestal bank app. My opinion and suggestion would be try and mimic the layout and style of pedestals old app for much easier and fluent usage.
I am thankful for my new and improved banking app. I was with Pedestal Bank prior to them being purchased by B1 Bank of Baton Rouge. The application changes transitioned quite smoothly. I am thankful for the services that I receive at this bank.
The pedestal bank mobile deposit was much faster and simple to deposit the check. The B1Bank bank app also has an issue at times unlike the pedestal banking app where the b1bank app would show that my account is at $0.00. After a few times of logging out the app and logging back in it would finally show my true account balance.
This app lets me do what I want with my bank. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is once and a while it doesn’t understand my deposits. Mainly when my customers’ writing is either very loopy or not very neat.
I have tried repeatedly to use the mobile check deposit and it does not work. Was told to update app or remove app and reinstall and it should work. No update and after deleting and reinstalling still get the same notification to login on mobile app. Thinking about switching banks altogether due to the inconvenience and no ATMs at bank locations in my area.
I’m dissatisfied! When I have deposits made to my account that are from the government that are “pending” they don’t show up until they “clear” as you guys would tell it. Which doesn’t make sense since it’s coming from the government it should be “clear” already a as you guys say!
Always giving troubles. Always have to go to the bank or call them to change password. - 1 star Update: After B1Bank took over, things are getting better. Haven’t encountered any problems lately but will have to wait for higher ratings.
I’ve been trying to deposit checks into my account using the online banking. The app keeps telling me to download the app in order to do deposits, but the app is already downloaded. Can someone help ? Because they charge $ if deposits doesn’t happen every month..
This bank is awful and you will never find timely or quality service with the app. This bank seems like they are scooping up other local banks and you just know they probably doing sketchy stuff with all of our money
