6/24- Second time here. This is a smaller resort, not much walking to/from room to restaurants. The weather is always beautiful and warm. Beach is so close; clean and relaxing. Delicious food with several restaurants to choose from (reservations required.). In-room order available. Staff is helpful and friendly.
This app accomplishes what it needs to on the resorts, BUT due to spotty WiFi and poor optimization requires frequent uninstallation and reinstallation to work. Here are my recommendations to the dev team: -If I have checked in and logged in, to save performance, just automatically go to my stay so I can make reservations and check activities rather than booking at other resorts. I get the marketing behind this, but if I’m at one of the resorts, save the load time by going to the “my stay” page. -The map could be better. The google maps integration has some benefits, but an interactive or simple PDF could get what you want more performantly. Could have them personalized based on the what room you are in with variations of “your room” marked on the pdf version. -QR codes for menus should automatically take you to the menu or pdf, not send you to a web page to all menus and find the dropdown that opened for the restaurant you want. Also, just put English and Spanish versions on the same page. Too many different variations.
Coming to this resort is the best decision I have ever made. I have been treated like family by every employee I have come across. Dorka and luis at the lobby bar are both wonderful and have great energy. Jose, Pablo, Louis, Pablo, Francisco, Juan, and more have all treated us amazingly and gotten us everything we asked for even while balancing so many other people. The employee that stood out the most though, is Edgar holleday at the lobby bar. Great energy and calls me and my friends family. Best person I have possibly ever met. If nothing else we would come back only for Edgar.
I booked through a travel agent and it was a little difficult to find my booking number. But once I was able to check in it was great! Pro tip if you need to add another room to you dinner reservations book at the same time and when you arrive tell them you are together. I got that from another traveler and I was able to book 2 rooms for the same times. I was told trying to add a room to your reservation doesn’t always work. So I did not try it.
We have been coming to the Bahia properties in Mexico and DR for years. The app has improved so much over the years. It is very functional now and helpful for keeping all of my activities and dinner reservations in one place. It doesn’t show me what is going on in the other hotels on the complex but it is fun just taking the trolley to another location and seeing what is going on there!
Overall, I was welcoming on my first day. It was beautiful. I already came in before so I already had idea what was gonna happen and then two days down the line I believe the 18th some water started coming in through the bathroom. I called the front desk to let them know they switch my room and then, the same thing happened in a different location of the room started leaking from the hallway into a puddle water and they fixed it I thought and then I woke up and the water was right back. I had to put a bucket there today was checking out today and I just wanted to go home
I am a returning Bahia Principe Hotels customer and had an original version of their app. I could not complete the early sign in 10 days before my trip. I ended up deleting my original app and downloading the new one which executed everything exactly the way it’s supposed to. We absolutely love their resorts!
The Privilege Club staff went over and beyond to accommodate our requests! The renovations were not overly inconvenient and all the hotel staff were courteous and friendly. Great experience…..oh and the food was amazingly well prepared and delicious!! This will always be our SPOT! Thank you 🙏🏽
Every morning I need to delete the app and start again. Some weird glitch I guess. But when it’s working is very helpful and informative. Dr. Joely Austin
The app is not friendly use. No directions provided on the map suggestions: add the current location of the user on the map and guidance to the destination. As for the restaurants, add more more details about the restaurant location. Also, add the hours of the restaurant. Thanks
The app is rubbish. You have to delete and reinstall after every successful use. Once you’ve utilized the features (map, activity, reserve restaurant) after you close it when it is reopens none of the features work. It’s awful to have to constantly delete and reinstall every time you need to use. Aquamarine quest
The app is too complicated. I want to log in and see “my plans for today” and be able to scold through my reservations daily. I also think that the restaurant schedule should be on the home page for example: breakfast- 7am-11:30am, lunch 12pm-3pm and if there are exceptions per restaurant for the time schedule that should be noted as well
The accommodations & concierge were outstanding. The food was not as good as anticipated. Pools, bar services & transport were nice. The staff was friendly & courteous. The grounds are beautiful & well maintained. Overall our stay was exceptional!
After downloading, you can check in and use the app as normal, but after this, if you try to open and use the app again the only way for any of your details to load is to delete, redownload and start over again. Wouldn’t even be an issue if the app wasn’t the only way to access many important features
This place is paradise. We have been to Bahia Principe 3 times and every time has been wonderful! I cannot say enough good things about it. It is the best place to vacation in the world!!
Whosoever is looking for a beautiful vacation resort and refuses to come to Bahia Principe, would have made a terrible mistake. This resort is where you get every good thing in life.

The place is great and the service is good. However, my problem with the app is that anything requested through it is not received by the staff. On several occasions I would use the App like they ask us to and the room service or anything else is not delivered and I end up having to call it in.
The app needs a serious overhaul. It is useless until you are on resort wifi and then 98% of the time the loading blue page freezes … The content is below par, basic information is not available … menus, ordering for food truck, hours — blank pages
This app is the worst and rarely works. After days of complaining I can finally access two of the three rooms I booked. So much for dinner reservations for the third room… also the app does not allow me to set my room preferences not select a room.
The app is unable to filter restaurants available by date, forcing you to check each restaurant and date individually and start over from scratch if it isn’t available. Really?!
It gives you the option to choose a date and does not say “Full” like the other days but yet there are no times to choose from. This is inaccurate information.
While this is a great show I feel like the mariachi portion was too long to keep the kids attention. They would more e joyful the dancing/ cultural portion of the show
The app wouldn’t allow me to create an account.. I deleted and reinstalled and still nth and I found that a little frustrated cause my stay time was short and I wanted to check in and book my restaurant ahead of time..
As it is the check in process is cumbersome that I have no desire to repeat it after the app crashed and not opening again. Amatures night at Bahia principe
