Good, but still needs some minor work

My concerns are mostly around the iPad version vs the iPhone version. On the iPhone, When you scroll down and click on any item and then go back, it automatically puts you back at the top meaning you have to scroll all the way back down again. This “feature” does not exist on the iPad version. Also, the feedback button within the app does not go anywhere. I’m on an iPhone 7, iOS 12.1.3 and the app version is 1.5 Otherwise keep up the good work. Update**** Just updated on the iPad Pro now and the same issue is happening there as well, going to take one star away because they are actually going backwards now.

Lazy company

Please stay up with the current phones. The iPhone X and subsequent new iPhones are out and you refuse to update your screen and display settings. It just speaks of laziness on your behalf and is disrespectful to the customers that pay your bills. Now with the most recent update, whenever you view a deal then press the back button it takes you to the home screen but back to the beginning - so you then have to continually scroll back to what you previously were looking at. Fire your app developer....please.

Good but use improvement

I echo a similar review that after tapping an item then going back it takes you all the way up to the top. I wish they would change this because I have to scroll through all the items I’ve seen and remember where my place was.

Worked well before. Crashing on iphone after update

This app worked well for a long time. However after an app update yesterday its crashing repeatedly. Deleted and re installed along with a iphone reboot. No solution. Please fix the app.

App stopped working

I use the app a lot when not on my computer. Recently it closes out every time I try and open the app. The site is great for finding deals. Having an app is much easier than a browser on a phone/tablet. Hope a fix is coming soon.

Unusable on iOS 12 with iPad Mini 2

The latest version 1.5.5 is “optimized for iOS 13”, understandably. However, on my iPad Mini 2 which is stuck on iOS 12 it crashes immediately even after reboot and is useless. I love having the app but please continue support on a version of iOS that was available less than two months ago!

Crashes on search.

Scrolling on this app is fine. But anytime I try the search feature, the app crashes when hitting the magnifying glass to execute the search.

Great, but one major issue

In the latest update, this is no longer an issue. Kudos to the devs for addressing app issues! OLD REVIEW This app is great, if you want a quick overview on what's on the website... but there is one major issue: When you view a product and go back to the listings, the screen refreshes and you're sent back to the top! It's really annoying scrolling back down to where you left off.

Pretty good!

This new update is fantastic - finally notifications are working !! Also - deals are awesome and the app comes in handy while shopping! Highly recommend

Good app with one problem

The tapping is so sensitive that it’s extremely easy to open up an item while you’re simply trying to scroll. Please increase the tap length to be more in line with most apps.

Refreshes to top of list after hitting back

The latest version of this app takes you back to the top of newest when yo go back after viewing a deal. I switched from the mobile web site to the app because of this. Now the app does it too. Going to stop using the app until its fixed

Enjoyable app with occasional flakiness

Was using this app for months without any problem then it stopped syncing a couple weeks ago. Deleted and reinstalled to restore function.

Can't comment on deals

I cannot comment on deals within the app. Right after you click on comment box keyboard appears then disappears while you type. This is a recurring problem that has not need fixed.

Search doesn’t work...

App shuts down when using the search feature. App Support feature is limited with no acknowledgment when addressing app issues.

Can not use

It’s just one thing but it’s the worst! If you view any item you start back at the top. I do not use the app because of this. Seems like a 5 star app if they would just fix this simple issue.

Major issue

Starts over from the beginning g after ty back out of look at a deal. This is annoying. Please fix so I can give 5 stars. Fixed After recent update the font is almost white and unseeable. Please bold or use darker font

Guess it wasn’t enough Ben made money on referral clicks for the products in the app, then they go and throw banner ads into the app? Used to be decent but it’s clear Ben’s now only interested in a shameless money grab. Lame.

Takes forever to log in

How hard is it to log in or to reset password??? Each time server error and times out. That should be the easiest part of an app!

App will not work with VPN

This app will not work with a VPN, it gives a server error. So if you want to use it you will have to turn off your VPN. Delete.

major user experience issue

okay, when you trying to go back to the main list after checked out a deal, the list will be refreshed and you have to start scroll down again to see where you were. the app was like 5 stars and now only worth 1 for user experience.

Makes it easy to find deals

Great, efficient app that makes it easy to find deals. Filtering by recency, hotness or category makes it simple to find deals on specific products or find deals I didn't even know I needed! Also like that app opens browser when clicking to a deal. UPDATE: new version seems faster and has better connection with website account.

Great for finding deals on the go!

Great app for keeping track of deals on the go! Things expire online so quickly it's nice to be able to check in multiple times a day so I don't miss anything. Will be especially nice for upcoming Black Friday season! Great update--much faster!

Love it!! Great deals

I love bens bargains. It's fun to have a website specifically meant to find great deals. I have already bought many things from silverware to pillows and pots and pans. And all were the best deals you could get anywhere. You will not be disappointed with bens bargains! It's the best.

Great deals, modern feel

Bens Bargains always has the best deals on the web, which is great. It's nice that the app now has the same callouts for fast-selling deals that the website has had. New look is a little more modern too.

Stopped working.

Doesn't remember login or filters

Knocked off a star for each of the following: 1. If you want to login, you have to do so every time the app launches (at least via Facebook). 2. If you want to search by a filter, you have to recreate the filter every time the app launches. 3. Want to create a filter for a single category? 7 taps.
