Love the products, but not the app

BG has always been known for high end designers and I’ve been shopping there for a number of years. Unfortunately, this app isn’t a good representation of the white glove service and usability I have come to expect. It is horribly glitchy and forced me out on at least five instances in the last thirty minutes.

Broken cycle

Checking out process is impossible. After filling out the Billing and Shipping addresses, one lands on a 404 page. When repeating the process, it becomes a gamble: When will you end up with yet another 404-page? Even after you get to proceed, then you choose the option of ShopRunner, only to find your Cart suddenly empty. But when you compile the identical items that are missing from your Cart, suddenly they are back and you end up with duplicates of everything! And after repeated attempts, finally it is payment time, and one last suggestion from the system is how you write your address (your version vs the USPS accepted version.) It does not matter what I choose, because after all this, I land on…a 404-page!!! I’m ditching this App and doing the web-based transaction.

Glitch and old fashioned app

This app is horrible. There’s a hug lag when tapping around, it’s oversensitive to touch when your scrolling so will click on items that you wanted to scroll past and then you try to return to the collection with the back arrow and it takes 4 taps to get it to respond, by which time it things you want to go back 2 steps and you end up at the main landing page and have to start all over Horribleeeee Also bad UX - so annoying to have to select from huge bracket of prices. If you have a budget of $3000 your only option is to look at options up to $4,999. That’s almost 2x more than you want to spend. I realize at this price point it’s all a lot of money but there actually is a big difference I spending. 3 vs 5k on a single item. Literally every other shopping app lets you set a max or min price So annoying and antiqued Web 2.0 feeling browsing experience and SO GLITCHY

I keep getting BG emails even though I have tried everything from spam to blocking to unsubscribing to stop. Please fix your ‘opt out!’ Thank you

Glitchy

I love BG, but this app is pretty poorly built. Sometimes it closes out for no reason. If you tap on anything there is a serious delay before anything happens. And when scrolling through options the app will just glitch and scramble the order of items so you end up scrolling through the same things again.

Impressive

My orders from Bergdorf’s have been exemplary. Fast shipments and quality of products. I would highly recommend this service to everyone. Fine quality goods, quick delivery.

Swiping all over the place

Love BERGDORFs. Hate this app. The interface or functionality is horrible. I can’t stand shopping on here I end up getting frustrated and switching over to Neiman’s or elsewhere. The swiping of the pictures and the pages are sensitive to the touch so I end up having to keep swiping back and forth. Also what’s with the lack of product images? Blah. Needs improvement!!!

Yikes

This app screams “I was built by an agency” because no in-house developer in their right mind would let someone build this UX for the product detail page. Who wants to horizontally swipe on a product image to be taken to a new PDP? Literally no one. Don’t break normalized retail patterns for no reason. I deleted the app, but I wish I could return it in exchange for the 5 minutes of my life I wasted.

always crashes or gets frozen

This app is the worst. I create my search criteria and start browsing and then it crashes, just closes the app. So I open it again, and do the same thing, create my search criteria and start browsing, and then it crashes. So frustrating!!!! Idk why this app is so bad when they are owned by Neiman Marcus. I never have that issue with the Neiman Marcus app. Pls fix.

Fix the scroll

Love the app but when I am scrolling the page it is jumpy. Other than that, I love it.

Worst app ever

This app is terrible. The store is wonderful but the app is shameful. It crashes constantly. It has so many bugs and glitches. Searches do not work. Features do not work. The shopping bag is often broken. It is almost as if Bergdorf’s does not want to sell merchandise online.

This app is BEYOND broken.

By far the buggiest app I’ve ever used, and they never do anything about it. Pictures won’t load, account page won’t load, and it quits randomly every time I use it. Can’t even load checkout page—gives error message and then quits.

So annoying

This app has so much potential. It’s just so glitchy and annoying. Sooooooo visually appealing and super organized but so annoying when you’re on it: slow, glitchy, and annoying

What’s wrong with this thing?

Can’t scroll without it stuttering. Slow and choppy. Try to click on items and no image shows up. Terrible. Please fix this. For now, I’m deleting.

Super slow!

I recently used the old version of this app to make a purchase and it was easy to navigate and complete my order. Fast forward a week and the newest update has rendered this app useless. I am so frustrated, will delete the app and use via the web browser. The new update is super slow!

Might be the most frustrating app here

‘Click here to pay’ doesnt work again after inputting info for the 5th time. Why would you even want to check-out anyway? Things look better in the cart.

App is not functional

The app crushed a lot! No ability to sort by size (at least for me), and every time I’m trying to go back to the list, it resets and sends me to the very beginning, even if I scrolled half way through

Fix it or just get it off the App Store

This app is absolute crap. Does not work. Has never worked. I downloaded it for the 3rd times in as many years and still crap. If I could give it minus 0 stars I would.

Love the store, despise this app.

This app glitches constantly. C o n s t a n t l y. Swiping is weirdly difficult? Click on one item and it takes you to something else, like I clicked on a Sisley-Paris perfume and kept getting a pitcher instead. The app freezes and lags a lot as well.

App failed

App does not work for 2 days. Deleted it and got a new one, now cannot open. Does not let me to reset password. Sends back and forth to my email. Cannot install on I pad at all. Needs to be fixed ASAP

My dog would build a better app

The store is fine, the app? HORRIBLE!!!!!!!! Crash, cart empty (meanwhile I’ve added stuff on there), pictures not loading, click on Prada it displays Nike, should I go on? This deserves a -5 stars rating.

Terrible app

How can THE Bergdorfs get away with having an app this bad. It works half the time and crashes to the Home Screen anytime you try to go to the previous page. It’s badddd

Not Impressed!

This app is basically useless. For such a high end store, I’m very unimpressed with the app, and with the customer service. I’ve been a customer for years but not anymore!

Some nice items but..

$2000 for a button shirt ? I would love to see you try justify that price tag. Instead I’ll buy a cheaper shirt and give my money to a homeless person

Not user friendly

Just downloaded the app and started using. It keeps hanging and when I switch between apps I have to start all over again as it shuts down and restarts. Not great Cx!

My most favorite place in the world but the app is SO slow to load, and also you can't sort by Linda's picks. Please please upgrade this app.

Don’t buy anything from “back in stock”

Not really useful

App couldn’t verify my address. 15% coupon code for signing up didn’t work. Made me re-enter my credit card information multiple times. Not worth the space on my phone. I’ll take my business elsewhere.
