Great site
I had sent an occasional card using BlueMountain over the last several years. However, I decided to join and bought an annual membership and use BlueMountain cards almost exclusively to recognize birthdays, wedding, anniversaries, celebrations, and just friendships. It has been a wonderful app and has help me be a better friend by using this wonderful selection of cards for a variety of birthdays, holidays, etc. And it saves money on stamps and mail and can be a lifesaver for those last minute times you say oh my gosh I forgot so it’s his birthday or anniversary. So if that ever happens to you, you might want to consider using BlueMountain. It’s been a great app and literally a lifesaver on several occasions.

Great Choices!
When Hallmark, my all time favorite app for cards went out of commission, I was miserable. I relied on that app for every occasion and holiday, and could not imagine there would be a comparable alternative. After looking at a few competitors I found Blue Mountain. Not only did it have a fair selection of e-cards, but it has increased the variety and number of choices over time. I am pleasantly surprised to find new items when I look for cards for friends am family. The site also offers the services Hallmark offered, address book, reminders and keeps a record of cards sent so customers are not redundant when sending our messages.

Fantastic
Blue Mountain e-cards are fantastic! The selection, the easy of sending and the cost are all fantastic. For years, I’ve sent thousands using my computer. Today, I realized I could send then using my iPhone! We senior adults take delight in accomplishments such as that. My only disappointment is that sometimes, not always, the reply cards or thank you cards offered to my recipients are limited or don’t coordinate with the card I sent them. Blue Mountain has not responded to my complaint or fixed this problem. I still highly recommend Blue Mountain e-cards.

Reduced flexibility with recent changes.
In the past, if I wanted to send my family an ecard I could sign it as being from myself and my spouse. Now, that feature doesn’t appear to be there and, for me, takes away from sending the card in the first place. I think I will have to find another provider. In addition, there is no longer the ability to enter a name on some of the cards; rather, you have to select from a list of names. If your person’s name isn’t spelled exactly as it shows on your list then you really can’t use those cards. For example, I tried to send a card to a Jacquelyn but that spelling is not provided, so I didn’t use that card, or any of the cards where the names are provided. I don’t know what has encouraged you to reduce the flexibility of your products but it has been noticed and is not appreciated.

Basically an ad spamming network
Some of the cards are good, but to retrieve their card the recipient has to go through the Blue Mountain site and be subjected to unsolicited advertising (for Blue Mountain). I was pretty disappointed to find this; I don't want to subject people to a spammy advertising experience on their special occasion. It would be far better if Blue Mountain just provided a link directly to the video. They'd probably get more customers that way too. Also, in order to cancel using the mobile app, you have to delete your account, which means you lose access even to the remaining time you've already paid for. (However, you can cancel on a computer and then still get access until your subscription expires.) Overall, it felt like a very grubby, grasping company.

I love being able to reach out to people on special occasions. You offer a good variety to choose from. My only complaint is with the cards that you can have the person/animal etc actually speak the greeting. Lately, after I have composed the greeting, it will not send. Those are my favorite and I’m very disappointed. I hope you will get back to me about this. I’ve tried to reach you about this with no success. Joy Colasurdo

App has basic issues on iPad and iphone
I use this app and via web browser almost every month for multiple friends and family. I have subscribed for several years too. I am disappointed in these two User experiences. 1. On the ipad BM app won’t rotate to portrait mode 2. On iphone I complete a smash up birthday greeting (Lainey) and at the point where it asks if I want to send gift card, also I can’t lower the keyboard or even use landscape mode to be able to click button to mail ecard (without a gift card). Result is I lost my entire personal message and have to start over again using a web brower. Not a happy customer redoing this. Please fix these things. Thxs,

Love it!
I absolutely love being able to send personalized E-cards to my friends & family. The app is user friendly & even tracks which cards I’ve sent to whom. The celebrity smash ups are far and away the crowd favorite. I do wish there was an option to leave the written name out &/or some generic terms of endearment as options for when you have loved ones with unique spellings. It’s a little frustrating to find their name spelled differently & not be able to use the card because it will be written.

Please make all recipient fill ins instead of drop downs!
So many cute cards that we can’t send because a person’s name isn’t in the drop down list. Even some common names are missing. That’s very limiting. Love the choices where we can type in the person’s name as an option. Sadly, too few of these are available. Other than that this app is a great way to expeditiously send clever, funny or serious cards without trashing the planet!

Ecards
I’ve always enjoyed Blue Mountain E-cards and people enjoy receiving them. Since I last sent a card, the format has been changed and navigation is quite different. Hopefully, I’ll get used to it. I’m disappointed I can no longer choose Font, size and text color though. Hopefully, others will want those features back as well. The cards still bring joy to people and that’s most important.

The App Is What We Needed!
Most people don’t check their email every day like they use to so I wasn’t sending all that many ecards like I use to. Was thrilled to see the app when I went to the website to send Xmas cards that many of my friends and family probably wouldn’t see for weeks. So glad for the app! Now I’ll be sending ecards all the time again and even more so since I don’t need an email. Good job, Blue Mountain! <3

Needs new material
I’ve used this App for over a year and it’s great for birthdays, but I’m about to not renew my subscription for year 3. Blue Mountain has some great cards performed by some real attention getters, but they are not adding new cards with the same quality - makes it hard to continue with them. I’m hoping they will add new quality cards with well know artists. I will stay with them if they do that.

Good user interface
Good overall user interface, with a little less functionality than the website. The two things I use a lot that were missing in the app: ability to change fonts, font size, and color on the personalized messages, and ability to edit the sender name (my wife and I share the account, so sometimes we want to show the email coming from just one of us, and sometimes from both of us).

Great way to send family/friends updates
Sometimes rext messages can be absolutely boring but sending something a little extra shows that you care to go that little extra to allow people to feel better about not being there in person. Thanks for the myriad ways of connecting with friends and family!

Grateful
I appreciate being able to reach loved ones in the way THEY communicate in this time - Text and email. I am able to do from my living space. I was able to finger out how to use… well most of the time. My personal text I wrote did not attach to the card. I’ve just joined and have sent out cards via text and received positive responses. Thank you. Beautiful cards Mary Ann

This app is the way to send online greeting cards.
When I first started creating an account with the website and downloaded the app. The first thing I did was purchasing a subscription and I began to send online greeting cards for special occasions like birthdays, wedding anniversaries, Mother’s Day, Easter and Passover, Christmas & Hanukkah, Thanksgiving, get well, sympathy cards. And to be honest, I find this app and website useful and helpful.

Hundreds of cards sent!
This is a wonderful app! I use it several times a week to send birthday greetings or get well wishes. My husband questioned the expense until we divided the cost with each card sent. What a bargain and every single day I can make someone feel important and loved. Thank you, Blue Mountain and Dolly! I can't tell you how special people feel when Dolly Parton says their name!

Love the selections and the ease of use
I subscribe to Blue Mountain e-cards because it is very easy to use and I love the variety they offer. It is fun to preview the cards and make my selection. They have categories for children, adults, and many different occasions. I have used the cards for cheering friends up too. I like the musical offerings a lot and use them most of the time.

Awful voice cards when she speaks.
I cannot handle that ladies voice, which is so mundane and bland on this card, especially. I never usually use the cards that she speaks on. You need to get a different voice someone who is upbeat and is easy to listen to. I don’t know why you ever hired her to do this job. It is awful. But this is my impression. And I will never use the card that she’s talking on again.

Always looking forward to hearing from them about the cards sent…… PS… Happy for the alphabet directory, such a great improvement. Thank you Loving all the cards and smash ups. Wishing there could be a space for two names for the anniversary cards. Thank you

Some suggestions for improvement
I love a number of the birthday e-cards, but for some of them, I would like the choice to write in the name of the person if it isn’t already listed on your scroll down name menu. Without that option, I can’t send a card I really like if my friend has an unusual name that isn’t on your list.

Send your e-card ON the day!!
I forget to mail snail-mail cards, or don’t have any appropriate cards (you just can’t send a sympathy card when a baby is born! 😳) Blue Mountain delivers immediately or can be arranged up to a year in advance. The selection of cards is huge and always increasing. I have subscribed for years and encourage you to do the same!!

I love these cards!
Lots of great choices offered: humorous, serious, interactive, and some even customized to include the persons name. Whether the card is sent to an adult or a child, it seems everyone in the family enjoys watching it. Especially the ones with animals. I may never send a paper card through the mail again.

Timely Greetings
We love to travel and find it difficult to send timely greetings to family for special events. Blue Mountain allows us the ability to be timely and let our loved ones know we are thinking of them on their Special Days. The choices are numerous and being able to personalize makes it even more meaningful!

Your videos
Love your videos, but disappointed you mostly have common names. The videos in-which one can type the name in are great! Just wish more of them could be converted to include this option. Friends and family get a kick out of seeing their name. Makes it seem more personal! Thanks!

Fun!
My daughter just told me how much everyone enjoys getting the fun e-cards from Nonni. I love picking them out and can even see the history to make sure I don’t send the same card twice to the same person. A great value and way better than having to stand in the store picking out a boring, expensive paper card!

I have long been a fan of Blue Mountain. It seems that their selection can always yield just the message I want to send. Today I learned about their app, and on top of that, the ability to text their messages! Woo Woo!🚂 Just what I needed to move my communications train down the tracks. Thank you, Blue Mountain!

Not easy for twins
I tried unsuccessfully all day to send my 3-yr old granddaughters ONE JOINT card, but the algorithm would only allow me to select one name. It was the Jungle Boogie Smash up card and their birthday theme was Young, Wild & 3, so this card was a perfect choice. The drop down allows one name selection only & there was no way to override it. Sooo - I had to send two separate, identical eCards to each grandchild. It shouldn’t be this difficult.

Personalizing cards
I love using these cards for my grand children. However there are so many that require a name. I love the idea, but wish there was an option to type in the name. Most names I need don’t have the name I need. So many people have named kids odd names. It would be wonderful to just be able to type name in.

Names choice
I love bluemountain ecards and am a long time customer. My only complaint is that there are a limited amount of name choices that you can fill in for personalizing ecards. I would love, for example, to send the Donny Osmond card to my friend Bonita, who is an avid fan, but there is no such name listed. It would be nice to be able to fill in the name of one’s choice

So Much Fun! Blue Mountain Cards are the Best! I just hope they keep on creating new Smashups! Since I also send the individual ones via text on our family text group, and trying to send a different one to each family member, I’m afraid I’m running out of new cards they haven’t seen yet! I love Blue Mountain Cards! Keep ‘em coming!

App Freezes up and No Response from Customer Support
The app repeatedly freezes up on my iphone when trying to personalize and send different cards. App does not respond again until the phone is powered off and restarted. I reported the issue via customer support more than five days ago and have not seen any response. I just tried to send cards again and the same problem occurs.

I really enjoyed this new Christmas card
I love the BlueMountain website and how it’s organized, the reminders in address book. Sadly their ecards are not the best, I used to use Hallmark but maintain my BlueMountain membership because of its features. I wish they would improve their Ecards and I wouldn’t mind paying more money for it

Smash Ups
I have enjoyed using BlueMountain cars for a very long time. There is a good variety for different occasions. I do love the smashups, especially. I can’t keep sending the same ones to all my friends laugh out loud. Look

These add some of the cutest ecards!
I love my Blue Mountain Ecards! They are so much fun and have a card for any occasion that you can think of. I especially love the smashups. All that’s missing are some Taylor Swift cards and they would be beyond perfect. I would have given this five stars but there are some card videos that are just black. When they fix these, my rating will be a five.

Paid $30 for year and was only successful in sending a couple of cards. On Father’s day tried to send a card and got an error that said it couldn’t email or text the card “try again later”. Fast fwd to 4th of July and got the same error. Sent an email to cust service and 2 weeks later got a reply that my subscription had expired. Well, yes the subscription did expire and I have no intention of renewing. I will try a different provider who actually provides a service for taking my money!

I must have gotten really dumb!
It took me at least an half an hour to send my latest birthday card. Finally I got everything correct and it was set to go out the correct date. I guess my problem was incorrect spelling in the original listing in my Blue Mountain address book once I got that straightened out away went the card. Thank goodness I persisted and had some time before the persons birthday. 😁

Whenever an occasion pops up, I generally realize I've forgotten a card. As a member, I can print one out. If not I can email or text one. Not only does emailing and texting save trees but helps our planet too. Its very easy to use, has lots of choices and is unique. I highly recommend this app.

Decent service
Seems the recipient experience is a bit challenging. The note you write doesn’t show up for them after or before they receive the active content. This needs work. Content is okay, some of the historical content although less animated was a bit higher quality.

Stopped working
After successfully sending three (3) ecards, the screen now freezes when trying to send another. I was told it is because the browser I use is not supported, even though the first three were sent and received. I switched to Safari with the same freezing. I deleted and re-downloaded the app to no avail. Having paid the yearly subscription, I would have expected to use the app throughout the year and thus being able to send several ecards.

So fun
Please keep adding more new personalized mashup cards. Those are my favorites and people love them. I was glad to see a few new ones but also I wish Dolly Parton didn’t have so much LGBTQ theme to it. That was the Valentines that I wanted to send, but I felt like that could only be sent to basically gay people.

Too fun
I thoroughly enjoy sending blue mountain e cards. Some of them bring a great laugh. I particularly enjoy the ones which begin with Richard Attenborough(?) narrating. It would be nice, in some of them, to be able to apply a person’s name rather than have to choose one. All in all, it’s a good service.
