I just moved into my own place for the first time. It's one thing to measure everything out, but the augmented reality feature is beyond valuable. I was able to see that the sectional I wanted was much too big for my apartment and found something that would fit a lot better. It's also a lot of fun to place things in your living space to see how it would look. I really enjoyed using this app and I'm hoping the delivery I'm expecting soon will go just as spectacularly.
This app works like it’s 1999 not 2022…needs a serious update. It constantly kicks me out or when you press sign in the page won’t load. It would be nice also if you already have an order being processed and have maxed out for delivery and your insurance that it wouldn’t try to charge you delivery and insurance again like if it’s a separate order. As long as the last item has not been delivered as per bobs, I shouldn’t get charged delivery and protection on my items. It should automatically add the things to that order and credit the sales person that helped you with your order. I constantly have to drive back up to bobs to add on to my order. I have spent over 12k with you guys so I know I have maxed out. This is just very inconvenient and it constantly signing me out is super annoying. NEEDS A MAJOR UPDATE! When you try to see furniture in your space that glitches as well… come on BOBS we can do better than this!
A scam and total lies that came out of their mouths
We went to bob’s furniture store and we went to shop for furniture for a bedroom. We made sure to ask every concerning question possible. For example, we bought the cooling mattress with the “good mattress sheet”. We asked a guy if we put the mattress sheet on the cooling mattress if it’ll still be cold once put on. Lies. It was ‘t even cold and in fact, a regular mattress without any cooling and a normal mattress sheet would’ve been cooler. No cap. PERIOD. Also, this one time, we had enough time to return a separate mattress. They denied our request, and the guy we talked to when we purchased it let us know we could return within 3 months. IT WAS ABOUT HALF A MONTH WHEN WE WANTED TO RETURN IT. PERIOD. This one dresser we bought, came with a loose board. All the furniture were plywood material and felt super cheap for a high price. It’s a scam and they are highballing you. Not buying this again, it was a waste of time and we got scammed. 👎👎
Decided to try this app to find some needed furniture. Found an item I liked and purchased it through the app. The charge was made to my bank account. No confirmation of order. Been trying to contact their customer service for days to no avail. Estimated wait time is over an hour on hold, I wait for 40+ minutes then it hangs up. Tried online chat, 144th in a queue that never moves. I guess my $300 is out the window with no recourse. The app is buggy, laggy, locks up. Learn from my mistake and avoid these fly-by-night con artists. Finally received my coffee table after a couple of months. Unboxed it, assembled it, realized it was broken in several places. After wasting hours trying to get through to their nightmare customer service, they want me to re pack the broken table and ship it back to them at my expense. This company is garbage.
This app was extremely helpful with my furniture buying experience. I’ve used plenty of furniture apps before but this one was actually helpful. So many great options and easy to use. I always recommend it to anyone interested in finding furniture easily. It even assist in showing how items will look in your home!
Even their card company, Fortiva is in Cahoots with them! Had 2 bad deliveries go wrong, I have one on camera which I will be posting on Facebook. Company claims they was refunding me for delivery. Which they did, BUT it was on furniture that I had pending then asked for it to be taking off of my account which wasn’t! I have paperwork that Bob’s furniture gave me but Fortiva won’t honor it and says it takes 10 days to file a dispute. A different lady was in the Saint Charles rock road store complaining of fraudulent charges on her account the third time I was there trying to handle this SAME matter. I thought this was a legitimate reputable store. If I were you, I would go to Carol House and save myself a lot of trouble. Especially if you don’t want to be talk to crazy by the receptionist.
If all you want is to see a bare bones, awkward virtual version of a chair in your living room or quickly scan in store barcodes this is the app for you. Otherwise it’s nothing close to a native app that actually (1) remembers your login, (2) performs quicker than the already awkward MyBobs website, and/or (3) provides any form of optimized mobile experience. In the COVID, shop from home era Bob’s single most essential tool (online and on the go presence) truly puts them at a disadvantage against other retailers. I’d rather pay $100 more an item if I can quickly find the things I need on my phone than deal with the challenges of this limited web frame of an app shell.
Ok so my mom got this app I got it to and it’s keep kicking me out like how my mom can get in but not me it still a good app I rate it a 3 but it is still lagging I can’t even get in it I can get in then it asked me a question and I can’t GET IT let’s like who made this please help I need help God help me! And I take it off and put it back on and guss what it do??? Do the same thing over and over and over again like please stop kicking me out maybe some of you guys is having this problem to ugh! Why I can’t get in the app I don’t know but I am going to let you go girls and guys byeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Oh god please help me 😡
Everything was fine until day before delivery. Received email about delivery and then three hours later received email that mattress would not be included in delivery. What do I need bedroom set if no mattress for bed. Customer service would only say they were just notified, they did not have any other mattress to offer etc. I cancelled the entire order and went somewhere else and purchased a set. I had intended to purchase my living room set from Bob’s, but after this I was totally done. For a week and a half I was flooded with emails about the delivery and the day before they tell me I won’t be getting the mattress with the delivery. Unbelievable!!!
I had a electric recliner sofa for around a year, both sides had problem and had tech come out to repair. And both techs told me they have a lot of problems with the recliner. Now the side I don’t use much broke. Since it’s over a year, I was glad I had the goof proof for 5 years. Only to find out the motor is broken and needs to be replaced. And customer service told me since they don’t have the model or the motor anymore, they are not doing anything anymore! “It’s very unfortunate for you!” Their exact words. Stay away from their cheap furniture especially the recliners. And the goof proof thing is just a scam.
I have bought from bobs many times and have been satisfied until recently. I bought a dining room table and 4 chairs and like all my other stuff I put the goof plus. The chairs are very poor quality that when my wife sat down on one of them, the leg broke off and she almost broke her neck with the fall. We spent about 3 months dealing with bobs to get the chair replaced to no avail. We finally got in contact with the manufacturing department and they told us that there is nothing they can do about it. Now I am stuck with a very expensive dining room table with only 3 chairs.
First off I downloaded this app so I could use the AR to see what the item would look like in my room. It said the item was unavailable and gave me other options. So do you pick and choose what I can see in my room to try to sell me other items? Also I’m looking for a sleeper sofa. And the only thing it will give me the dimensions to box come in. Again it list one dimension but 20 other items that I should consider. This is worse than having an annoying salesman in your face. I’ll just go to the store that’s closer to me.
I downloaded this app so that I could see what a piece of furniture would look like in my kitchen. The item that I wanted to see did not work An error message kept popping up that it had trouble loading the product. I tried selecting other products to see if they worked. Only one product out of about ten actually scanned, but I couldn’t get it situated correctly in my virtual room. I was very disappointed in this app. Other websites do the same thing without having to download an app. I do not recommend this app at all!
No need to go home and measure, just use this app and you will see how the furniture would look in your space! Also, this app is useful to see if your new sofa will fit going upstairs. Extremely innovative and I would expect nothing less from Bob's Discount Furniture.
I’m unable to track my delivery through the App. I can track it on their website on my PC but when I try to do it on the App nothing pops up. Also, I’m unable to “view in room” some of the furniture pieces that I want. It wasn’t able to upload them. Other than that, the app seems to be okay when browsing their inventory.
I love this app because it combines the value of Bob’s furniture, with some pretty cool features, including augmented reality. The 3D models of furniture look hyper realistic, when I take a photo of the app in my space, it looks like the furniture is actually there!
As I try scrolling down the list of products, I am constantly interrupted with pop ups and other nuisances asking if I want on the mailing list (still don’t), if I want to chat with customer service (nope), if I want to see other things in their catalog while I’m trying to read a description of THIS thing I’m considering, ad nauseum. This is irritating. I don’t get bugged this much by salespeople in the store!
I got this app to see what a sectional would look like In my living room.. it’s well lit. Totally open.. no matter where I point the camera following directions or not this app does not place the correct sized couch for the space pointed to. After an hour of fooling around with this worthless app I decided I had wasted enough of my precious time on this earth and to just use a tape measure and take measurements that way.. zero stars would. It recommend.
The only reason I downloaded this app was so I could use the AR feature. Unfortunately, I was on able to place the furniture because I couldn’t get it to even populate in the picture. All the other features of this app seem to work but I don’t like that it asks to use my location or that the AR feature, the whole reason I downloaded the app, doesn’t work. I did get on to chat twice and both times had very friendly agents.
My daughter wants the Scarlett bed and I was able to see just what it would look like in the room with the AR feature - amazing! It is also easy to navigate through the site. I especially love the tips for smaller spaces! Thanks Bob!
This is really helpful when you want to make sure that the piece of furniture you are buying will match with your interior. Especially when shopping online, this is a life saver!
It will sell stuff to ya, it will scan QR code’s... tap view in room and it just takes ya back to downloading the app, repeatedly... tap App Store link and it says Open, once ya get there. Clearly it’s installed, seeing it says Open and the fact the fact this app is what keeps routing me back to download app... it’s about as effective as their post sale customer service, based on a friends battle with them over two defective items that came damaged.
Making furniture easy to imagine in my home, then easy to purchase. Bobs like the Bosox, hit a home run. Amazing use of technology putting Bob’s way ahead of the competition. I wonder what’s next for this clever company?

Was really excited when I found this app. Was really confused that a puppet could use this app but I couldn’t. Then really super disappointed when I figured out the furniture I bought at Bob’s was not one of the pieces Bob chose that can being AR preview in this app. So Bob tell people up front - only some of the furniture you sell can be viewed in the app. Delete it…
This app doesn’t work. It will continuously minimize itself and revert to the landing page. Tested on 3 different devices and the behavior is exactly the same. I am assuming it doesn’t work on iOS 14 and worked at some point in the past otherwise I don’t understand the other reviews. This was so annoying I ended up buying a sofa somewhere else.
He was amazing .my husband and I were there and we got everything we needed and were treated red carpet by Mario and he sold us more than what we went in for . 🤦🏻♀️ .. great asset to Bobs store..
Do NOT download this app. Because if you do, and if you buy something from Bob’s, there is a 100% chance your order will be wrong, and a 99.9% chance your order will be damaged on delivery. This company has trash furniture and don’t care about their customers. I would rather sit on a pile of gravel instead of buying furniture from Bob’s.
Worked well until IOS 14. App opens but within a minute it will crash. Was hoping that it would be repaired soon but looks like the app hasn’t had an upgrade for about a year. Downloaded IOS 14.2 for phone and app responds the same way. When the app didn’t crash, it was decent.
App works great the AR feature of putting furniture in your home is fantastic helped me purchase the dream sectional. Wasn’t sure it was going to fit but the app helped me see it could.
Overall, I love bobs furniture. My one star rating is only because the app is terrible in the sense of connection. I keep getting kicked out when I go in to look at an item, no matter what item i am looking at. I’ve tried updating my phone and the app still kicks me out. Please work on fixing that, whoever is responsible for maintaining the app.
AR is simply astounding and the way Bob’s has implemented it is nothing short of spectacular. The detail is fantastic and this truly helps the process!

Downloaded the app so I can see what the furniture would look like in my house. Every time I tried to view a piece of furniture the app would say “unable to view”. If you want the app for another purpose, it might be good. As far as scanning the room to viewing furniture in the room, don’t waste your time
The app keeps disconnecting on me, I have an iPad Pro, I don’t know why it’s disconnecting I sign In and go to look at my purchases and the app just fails, shuts down. I even deleted the app and re-enter, it does the same thing ,so the app is useless right now for me.
I am trying to buy furniture through the app. Unsuccessful and so aggravated. App does not recognize my email or password despite updating and reinstalling. Most of my personal info and credit card info is stored on app. Please fix this so I can buy my furniture and save myself a trip to the store.
They misspelled my last name. I have now acquired late fees as Wells Fargo only allows payment from account owner. With misspelled name on Bobs Discount Furniture account I have no way to pay due to my legal name not matching account name. I will be working with Bobs tomorrow so I may update this review but as for now just be aware.
