Quit asking to “restore” after every update!!
Great app! But it mis alphabetizes all of my Music Libray. All music groups who’s name starts with “The” are all lumped together under, THE, under the t’s, (ex. The beatles, the cure, the rolling stones, the B52’s, etc...) as opposed to where they should be alphabetized. ALSO, EVERY TIME I JUMP BACK INTO MY LIBRARY FROM WHERE I AM (when in “Album” view, not in “Songs” view)IT DOESN’T TAKE ME BACK TO WHERE I JUST WAS, BUT INSTEAD, IT TAKES ME BACK TO THE VERY TOPMOST OF MY WHOLE MUSIC LIBRARY, BACK TO THE A’s...and this sometimes frustrates me so much, that the time killing of it forces me to switch to another music app, (as there isn’t the little “alphabetical sidebar”, as in “songs” view, that allows you to tap on the starting letter of the musical group, a,b,c, etc., to get you there quicker). Other than that, this is a pretty decent app, and has great sound possibilities and customization, and I use it now quite often, but not as much as my favorite music app, which is the FANTASTIC, EQ10...also, the squeezing of album art is another issue, but overall, its not that important...keep up the awesome work!

THE ALPHA MUSIC PLAYER!
I am deeply involved in music, in fact I DJ, so sound quality & programs etc I know well. With that said, I have used many music Apps trying to find the best one. Yes there are a couple of good ones I came across, but in my opinion “BOOM: Music Player” is the Alpha of them all. I purchased the Mac Desktop version about 2 years ago (also fantastic) and use their BOOM Remote for complete functionality. Last year I purchased the app for the 1 year subscription which expires in a week. I use BOOM at least 5 days a week a few hours each day (it gets a lot of play) & I personally never had issues ie, can’t ever recall it crashing, in fact after their last update I feel it is even better. I am so positive that this is the Alpha of the music player apps I said F@%k it and just purchased the Lifetime pack. If I have to nitpick there is ONLY one thing I hope they add/fix, so I hope the developer reads this, hear me and fixes it. The system in my truck (custom) has a remote so I never have to touch the radio or phone for anything BUT with BOOM I can only skip to the next track.....back from track to track. Would be outstanding if I could scroll through/ Fast forward within a track… in other words if I simply want to hear a certain spot in the track. If I want to do that I need to open the phone/app a scroll that way. NBD, still a BadA$$ APP. Oh and their customer service is on the up & up! The times I emailed I ALWAYS got a response pretty fast!

Exceeded my extremely low expectations!
I’m familiar with virtual surround sound with gaming and I think it works great for what it is. Not sure how it would work with music so I came across this app which is free for like 5 days. Plenty of time to test it. I didn’t really know the difference at first. I could tell there was a difference just not sure what. So I was starting to wonder if this was a gimmick after listening to a whole album of one of my favorite bands. I then started to listen to the same album without the Boom effects or app. I couldn’t even finish the first song without wanting to go back to the Boom app effects. It definitely sounds more full and it is easier to pick up multiple sounds and voices distinctly. I am using this app with my Beats Solo 3 headphones. On some songs the bass got too heavy for what my headphones could handle so I had to adjust the EQ a bit on some songs but treble is awesome on my headphones so everything else was amazing. I’ll have to test it on other headphones I have. Overall definitely worth trying and definitely worth a one time purchase of $4.99. I got it on sale for $2.99 on Black Friday. Even better! You will never want to go back to 2D music after using this.

Asking for a refund
I got this app last night to try to find a stop-gap fix for a problem with the highs on my AirPods Pro being too shrill. I knew it wouldn’t be an across the board fix, but expected it to work right. First off, I discovered that it forces you to use it as your music app from now on, and the GUI is ugly and rustic. I hit into errors with locally stored iTunes purchases with it thinking they were Apple Music streaming selectively, and refusing to equalize it all- some will, some it won’t touch and give a DRM error. It also scrambled all the artists, albums, and songs, alphabetizing everything individually, making nothing easy to find. In short, it’s useless. It’s particularly upsetting because when I tried to do the free trial, I got hit with a scammy popup telling me that if I bought a lifetime subscription this very moment, it would be on super sale. So I never even got the free trial to see if it was good or not, in fear of overpaying for something that I could be stuck using for a long time. Apple should make those one chance only sale buy before you try offers against the App Store rules! I’ve written in asking for a refund this evening, but considering that I’m still waiting for a reply from yesterday’s support request, it’s most likely going to take a while before I get assistance.

Amazing product for any music head
This app is pretty amazing with the 3D sound quality. No, I’m not an expert or anything but I think this app does a really good job at letting all the sounds and depths of the music come to the forefront of the sound just as equally as they do the vocals. Sometimes I’m listening to a song and it sounds like I’m IN the booth with the finish product playing throughout my ears. The amplification of sound compared to your usual music app is night and day and BOOM sound reigns superior every time. I gave this app 4 stars because I do have one issue with it in my experience, not saying this is an issue for everyone but for me…the app sometimes doesn’t cooperate properly if I don’t completely close out the app after every use. Making it extremely annoying later, when I want to scroll through my song lists after a bit of not using the app. WORTH the yearly subscription

People keep complaining...
...about "problems" with this app. But the issues I keep seeing them complaining about CANNOT be fixed by the developers! Listen up!!! APPLE controls access to files with DRM, not the developers. I love this app, and I'll admit there are problems. For example, I'd love it if I could set Boom as the default player for music. But it's Apple's ball park so I doubt that will **ever** change. Technically, I guess it's Apple's ball park, bats, **and** balls. 😉 At any rate, before you go off half-cocked and make a complaint, make certain you've got your facts straight. For example, if the program is crashing a lot, but you don't see a lot of reports about crashing from other people, it's probably an issue with YOUR device. Additionally, devs usually fix crashing issues pretty quickly if they effect a number of people. To fix a problem like a crash, they have to be able to track down a problem. I'm running Boom on three iOS devices, almost daily, and it's never crashed on any of my devices. I personally give this app two thumbs up, five stars (GOLD stars!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️) and I highly recommend it because it makes all my non-DRM music sound so much better! I barely ever use the Apple music player at all. I even use Boom when I'm listening in my car, and it makes my music sound richer and more full, even over my stock car speakers.

Why?
I like the sounds available with Boom. No issue there. In fact I'd love to have this. However, this BS about who "owns" the music is infuriating. I pay Apple to stream music. I don't mind paying as musicians deserve our support. Absolutely and 100%. So I'm paying to make it all legit. Yet, there's another standard applied if I want to take off a bit of the treble on certain mixes. So basically, since I have minimal space to be able to download certain tunes locally, I'll get to use Boom on the few songs downloaded. Unacceptable. If I'm paying for the rights to listen to artists, I should be afforded the control over how I prefer the desired EQ. I pay the same price to stream it as I do to download it as well. Here it is, 2020 and apparently the man behind the curtain is shaking his head "No!" when it comes to having an EQ function on one of the most popular and technologically advanced pieces of hardware on Earth.

Best out there!
I love using Boom! It is the best out there by far with everything it does. I do have a suggestion for the suggestion box. I would love to see fast forward and rewind buttons (if there’s not already a way to do it that I’m missing) rather than having to guess where to move the slider. The buttons would be ones that let you move forward and backward about 10 or 15 seconds, and when you tap and hold the forward button, it would act as a speed up play button until you let up off of or to return to regular playback speed. This would let you be able to more easily jump to portions of a song which are closer together and speed through a portion if you want to just speed through it faster until you get to the part you want. This is just a suggestion, though, as this is still the best out there either way.

Excellent for playing from TIDAL and FLACs offline
If you want to apply EQ, the best way is to use TIDAL or your own tracks (import using iOS Files app, Dropbox or Drive). You can also just stream from Dropbox or Drive without copying. FLAC is supported. Audio quality and control you get from this app is phenomenal. I use wired IEMs (AFUL P8) and it blows everything out of the water. Bluetooth also works but it’s not lossless obviously. You can import tracks into Boom via SMB share using iOS Files app and they will get copied into Boom app for offline playback. You can choose which Boom playlist to import to. There are a couple of very minor UI bugs but they didn’t affect my user experience or listening at all. 5 stars!!! One suggestion for developers please make it possible to select multiple tracks at once and move between Boom playlists.

Great.... but:
This is a great app. I’ve probably tried every music player in the App Store and this is by far the best. Beautiful clean interface. Easy to use and the effects do add new life to your headphones. There are a LOT of optional settings to play around with. ONE STAR OFF FOR THE YEARLY SUBSCRIPTION NONSENSE!! Just charge a one time flat fee so we can be done with it. I paid the subscription because it’s worth it and I’m gullible, but I would have happily paid a bit more for a one time fee. Update: the bass is blowing out my headphones. (A few different ones; Beats, Grado) I’ve tried turning off the bass boost and it doesn’t do much. The only fix is to turn off effects which defeats the point. Is there a way to dial down the bass a bit more without having to build a custom eq? Overall still a great player though. (Prefer the Vibrant and Flat settings. Both have same issue)

Almost Perfect
I just purchased the Boom for my iPhone and so far I love it with one huge exception. I obviously use this app in place on the default iPhone music player, so that I can take advantage of the EQ functionality. So, I get into my car, fire up Boom and start listening to music and everything is fine.. I can control the music (next/previous, volume up/down using the controls on my steering wheel) just like I can using the standard iPhone music app. However, occasionally boom will reach a song in my playlist that it claims cannot be EQ'd due to DRM (which is fine), so it plays the song anyway (just without any EQ functionality) - the problem is, whenever that happens, I lose all control to the app, meaning I have no way to control it anymore from my steering wheel buttons. This requires me to kill the app, and restart it, and everything is fine again. So, this is a really annoying bug, and I hope you can fix it soon!

Great app but enough with the marketing
I love Boom. I use it for my desktop and mobile device. Music would not be as good without it! But Boom, whoever is in charge of your push notifications, tell them to put more thought in before they hit send and stop sending so many notifications in general. I’m officially annoyed and turning them off. They are useless messages. Today I was notified with “Its half way to the weekend! Get going with Boom!”. What am I supposed to get out of that? I know it’s Wednesday...it’s literally displayed above your push notification on my lock screen. I’ve been getting messages like this almost every day. tl;dr Great job engineering team. You’ve created apps that are a must have. Marketing team (I assume), make your push notifications informative and useful for your users.

Streaming FLAC files from Google Drive
This app allows me to stream FLAC music from the cloud ,(which I was pleasantly surprised by) however the stream stutters and fails to play the track without multiple pauses. The only to fix this issue for me is to download the song. I have another app that don’t require me do so in order to play my music smoothly from my Drive, I.e. VOX Music Player. Unlike VOX, Boom allows for sophisticated 3D audio with all headsets as well as having a lower subscription price. If the devs could fix this streaming issue they would easily be just as good if not better than VOX. I’m a lifetime subscriber btw. Update: I logged back into the app and got a message claiming that I was trying to play an “unsupported” file type. I’ve never had this issue when streaming the songs directly through my Drive, VLC Media Player, or VOX music player. If it weren’t for the EQ I’d probably regret becoming a subscriber.

Boom 3D with Oontz Angle 3XL Ultra
Boom 3D with effects is indispensable to me. I use it on the laptop with movies and music: classical, jazz, blues, rock, folk (I’m a musician). Now the other items you must have: the Oontz speakers (2 for stereo) at a reasonable price and with sound quality unbelievable. And all portable in a small backpack. I use boom 3D on two iPhones and have the original small Oontz angle for ultra portability when needed. But boom 3D with the Oontz Angle 3XL Ultra (2 for stereo) is an extraordinary sound combination. I’ve owned the best analog systems (lost in an unfortunate financial travail) including Magneplanar ribbon speakers, Bryston 1000w amp, custom turntable, Etc. and what I gain now is portability and economy, along with Boom 3D’s extraordinary flexibility. Can’t wait to load my new 256 GB iPhone X with a plethora of music, organized into Boom 3D playlists :). —rob, a certified happy Boomer

So buggy and no real shuffle
I’ve been using Boom on my desktop for years and love it, but there are so many problems with the iOS iteration. First of all the interface is incredibly clunky not easy to navigate at all. I’ll hear a song and want to see the artist or album and I have to press like 12 extra buttons and scroll to do so. The shuffle is not a true shuffle because the 2nd song is always the very first alphabetical song in my library. And then it plays things in order even when it’s on shuffle. Almost all of my songs are songs are Apple purchases (meaning Boom effects can’t be applied) but they only recognize a random few as such. It freezes constantly and the main play screen with the circular artwork is so ugly. Just show me the entire square artwork. When it works, the sound adjustment is amazing but the interface is so so so clunky and there are 3 many bugs with this app. Can somebody please recommend a comparable replacement that actually works?

Incompatible with Apple Music.
The app makes all my songs sound so much better and most importantly it increases bass without sacrificing any of the other frequencies. That being said, as mainly an Apple Music user the app is UNUSABLE because Apple protects all their music with DRM, so the developers are unable to Apply Boom effects to the songs. I understand this is a problem with Apple and not the Boom developers, but I strongly encourage them to find a workaround to this issue because it basically makes the app incompatible with Apple music users. The moment this app works with Apple Music songs and can be used offline is the moment I buy a subscription, until then I’m sticking to the default Apple Music app

Wow.....Just wow.
I listen to a lot of coldplay and my iphone speakers get very staticky on some songs. Forces me to carry my Samsung galaxy with me when I can't use my headphones like when I'm at work. This music player allows me to lower or even turn off the things that are causing static in my speakers so I can enjoy the beautiful music while at work and thus be in a good mood for my customers since our in house radio is dreadful even to the customers. Lol. Thanks dev for giving me back my happiness without forcing me to carry my Samsung just for music. When I get better pay, I'll get the paid version for sure. Looking forward to helping the devs out. But for now, I'll lend my support through the praise they deserve.

STILL IN LOVE
I remember when Boom was starting out and I took a chance on a relatively unknown music playing app. Fell in love at first listen, and like any relationship I griped a tiny bit when it wasn’t exactly free anymore but I just couldn’t let my Boom go so years later through few iPhones and many iOS’s, we’re still together because there’s no other music player is as intuitive to my listening needs be it headphones to AirPods thumping my bass hard as AF till it remembers to shut itself off (Sleep Timer built in YES!) so we’ll keep Boomin forever cause ITS 100% WORTH IT. To APPLE MUSIC AND PANDORA PPL QUIT HATING COMPLAIN TO THEM! It’s not Booms fault THEY don’t want u to use any other app but theirs! Thanks for the multitude improvements and for bringing visualization back! 🥰🥰🥰

Great
At first I was not impressed at all. There was significant distortion for unclear reasons, now that has completely resolved. I listen mostly to Tidal through iPhone with a dragonfly cobalt. Headphone is a new Focal Celestee. Not a lot of bass boost needed because these headphones are bass monsters already; but the EQ function along with the surround effect add a great deal of detail and clarity to the music. Tidal MQA is lost coming out as 44.1 when going through this EQ but that’s an issue with Tidal rather than the Boom Booster. I’m on a trial now but will go ahead and buy a lifetime subscription when the trial is over. Yes, I would recommend it to anyone looking to optimize their music experience.

I spent 40 years in broadcasting . . .
Living with music every day of your life, you quickly pick-up the nuances of of sound - the highs, lows and mid-ranges - each have several ranges within themselves and it can be irritating when something is wrong. I discovered BOOM just after it first came out, and while it wasn’t perfect, it was close. The developers are obviously audio freaks as there have been several modifications since the original and each step gets them closer to the wholly grail of perfection. My first bit of advice is delete everything else you use and get this app. Second, listen wearing high-end, over the ear headsets. (I’m wearing Sennheiser’s HD 660 S as I type this.)

You get what you pay for.
I read the description and understood what this app does and doesn’t do. I tried it out for 5 free days (thank you Boom) and was very happy to pay the meager price asked to continue listening to my purchased music with all the sounds I’d forgotten since ditching my DiscMan CD player a thousand years ago. This App will make your purchased music sound so awesome you’ll remember why it’s worth paying for it. Your ears will thank you, your favorite artists will thank you, and you will sleep well knowing you’re a good person who is keeping new music alive by participating actively with your heroes (because you buy their art) and your Momma always said nothing good is free.

100% Recommend
Boom makes the music-listening experience immensely more enjoyable. I first purchased Boom on my computer and was eager to get it on my phone when I realized there was a mobile app. Boom's effect on music is superior when compared to the Apple music app; I can't stress this enough. In addition to the EQ features, I use the cross-fading feature as well, and can't get enough of it. I highly recommend this app to anyone who loves music and wants to elevate their listening experience even more. My only recommendation would to make the queue more editable; like being able to add single songs into the queue at any given time, similar to Apple's queuing features.

So Disappointing!!!
I bought the boom3d MacBook software and I’m so pleased so I obviously thought this is same as on laptop like it’s dress up on my music and sound all over laptop but unfortunately the iphone version is so unfriendly. First of all there’s only dark theme and no clear white which is terrible and I’m really having problems reading so unfriendly. Secondly it does not dress on my iPhone library music but wants me to use it’s library. Instead of just adding the fabulous equalizer system to my already playlists on my default iPhone which is much more friendly for looking at and more simply. Thirdly the visualizer is so idiotic... what is this? I’m not a kid in the 80s in NY with stereo on my shoulder. Get serious...Hey... make your version user friendly and then I’ll buy it! For now it shadows the laptop version but in a bad way! Too bad.

Needs improvement
I like the app but the one thing that I'm a little disappointed about is it doesn't count the number of plays for a song (on the built in iPhone music app, each time a song is finished, the counter adds one to the number of plays. It adds however many plays for a song to iTunes since the last time you synced your phone with your computer.) I personally like to keep track of my progress, so if it wasn't for that I would still use this app for listening to music. Also, the visualizer during when a song is played is kinda slow and doesn't look as smooth as I hoped for. I'm not an expert programmer or anything but these sound pretty easy to fix. Once it is then I'll definitely give this 4 to 5 stars as well as use this app more often.

Buy the App
Perfect for those with high-end headphones. I can experience the full capabilities of my iphone linked B&W headphones. Boom 3 on my mac is another level. I suggest purchasing the boom product for each device. The app even upgrades the Bose sound system configured in my Escalade. I use Sonos for in-home audio. So, I’m not sure the effect on BT Home speakers. If you have better speakers, then probably none. My only complaint is that you should be able to max out all app setting and volume, while using the auto equalizer, and receive with no distortion. Full bass for 3d is impossible to play for almost any song at 75% or above volume.

Great Audio, Ugly App
The audio effects are GREAT. Seriously. They make all audio sound amazing. I have two issues with the app though. The first is the design. It’s ugly and it’s cumbersome. Swiping up and down, left and right, buttons are in the wrong spot up in the notch, or they’re just not responsive. PLEASE update the app to be more modern. It will be a million times better if the design is refreshed to be like a more traditional music player, such as Apple’s stock app. The second issue is that the equalizer requires a subscription. In my opinion, that’s really ugly. I bought Boom 2 for my Macs, and it works great. I’d gladly pay $15 or even $20 for this equalizer and an amazing design. It’d be absolutely worth it. So PLEASE, update the app and take it back to a one time purchase! Thanks!

Monthly sub, really?
I’ve enjoyed both Boom 2 and Boom3D on my Mac for many years. It’s one of my indispensable apps that I simply can’t live without. If the iOS version is anything like the Mac app I’m sure it’s excellent quality. But there is simply no way I’m paying monthly for it. If you want to charge me $20 for the iOS version even though that’s far and away higher than most any other utility app costs, sure I’ll pay it. Why? Because Boom is that good. But every year, into infinity? I really don’t think so. I’m so tired of subscriptions and micro-transactions milking every last dime out of loyal customers. The only recourse we have is to speak with our wallet. So no, I’m sorry. Charge a flat rate, charge for upgrades, charge for features we want, yes, all of that. But don’t charge just for the “privilege” of having the app function the way it was intended. Disappointed.

Help can somebody please , help
I really love this app, but I’m so frustrated to the point I’m thinking of canceling my subscription and dumping this app altogether! Why, because I’ve gone round and round and around and round until I don’t know what to do except accept that this fight is fixed. Boom will not all the songs in my library. It use to up until a year or so ago whether it’s songs I purchased from iTunes or music I downloaded into my library or songs that I’ve written and recorded, it arbitrarily chooses what songs it will play. I’ve talked with apple and my phone carrier and nothing anyone suggested worked. So of course they are saying it has be a issue with Boom . Can I please get some help. Thank you

No artists - album - songs view instead artists - songs
Like the sound. It’s not earth shattering better than other music players with EQ capability, but it gets a tiny bit more out of it when listening via Bluetooth earbuds (using mostly AirPods pro). The only issue I have is when selecting an artist, it then shows all the songs in random order instead of first showing an album view within which one can then see the songs. This is just so basic but quite annoying when you have a lot of music in the iPhone with a lot of artists and most of them with more than just 2 albums. Please fix this, it’s very basic

Great app, easy to use. Works as stated
This app has a built in amplifier, as it boosts your volume level past standard. Bass amplifier works amazing compared to all other apps, I give a 9/10 star rating if I could, unfortunately it’s limited to 5 stars. The one half rating I’m giving is because Apple Music can’t be used with this app. You’re able to sync your Apple Music account but not stream with bass boosted effects. This is due to apple’s policy, but is not stated in the app description. Besides that, everything works as it should. I am proud to have bought the $40 lifetime subscription.

Awesome, but...
This is a really good music app. I like having the option of different presets for different genres of music. I also like the ability to change your headphone style, be it in ear or over ear. The one option, though, that would give this app 5 stars instead of 4: an option for car speakers. I use this app in my car way more than I do with headphones, so, that addition would be much appreciated by me. Also, there’s something strange bug that doesn’t show the artist in the car display when it’s hooked up to the vehicle. Not a huge problem, but, it’s something that would be nice to fix.

Misleading.
I tried this app and listened to a few of my songs from within the app and at 1st was very impressed at the sound quality when the effect is enabled. Within the app you can turn the effect on and off and the quality of all tracks was much improved with the effect on. But, I soon realized what was happening. My music sounds flat when listening from within the app with the effect disabled. But if I listen to the same track on my built in player on my iPhone the track sounds great without the app. So from what I can tell turning the effect switch off within the app intentionally degrades the sound quality of my track in effort to make the effect impressive. The switch does not compare the effect with the sound of my built in audio. Very misleading. I will not be keeping this app.

Holy yes amazing.
Upon hearing about the Mac version and using it I wanted to see if this would hold up just as well. One song in and I already can tell this is going to be so worth it. It gives the songs so much more feeling to them. And while I may not be an audiophile, hearing "more" of the song makes it an awesome addition to my library of apps. Also, to all the complainers, you really can't fix something you have no control over, especially when it comes to Apple products. You can't make Apple change something. So you're stuck with their rules, like it or not.

So worth it!!!
After being thoroughly unimpressed by the sound quality of the iPhone EQ I went on a quest to find a solution to the bad sound quality. Well, I found it with the BOOM app!!! Super easy interface and full access to my songs made set up a breeze. Then comes the amazing sound. Wow! What a difference this app makes. All of the music sounds so much fuller. I actually thought there was something wrong with my Bose headphones when I first listened with the iPhone EQ. Then I downloaded the boom app and experienced the full potential of my headphones! Thanks BOOM!!! Such an incredible deal for $1.99!!!

Love the app but it has a few bugs
Surround sound boost sounds fantastic when you can get the app to play the song. Seems to be a big bug in that it classifies some music as playing from the cloud (so no effects) when it is in reality downloaded to your device. On my own device there are several songs that I know are downloaded but show as from the cloud or Apple Music within the Boom app. Sometimes the app will stop playing all downloaded music entirely and will only play the music it thinks is from the cloud or Apple Music. I had to delete the app and reinstall it for it to play the other songs again. App would be a five star app if they could fix those problems.

The quality of the music is noticeably superior to listening through the regular music app. Effects are just as good as the Boom 3D Mac app, though you need an in-app purchase to use the 3D effects after a trial period. Sounds best on headsets like Beats, but still works really well with AirPods. Only problem is that you can’t use any of the quality enhancing features like 3D if the song is from Apple Music because they have DRM protection (so you might have to run them through a converter on your mac) but songs purchased from the iTunes Store are fully compatible.

Whoa!!!
This app is amazing I can’t believe the difference in my music. Without this app it sounds like you are outside of the concert and when you turn on the 3D it’s like you open the door and walk inside. It is a night and day difference I will never use iTunes to listen to music again. Wish I would have found this app years ago well worth the money. I didn’t even wait the 5 days of the trial as soon as I turned on the effects I said I’m buying this app. Get this app you will not be disappointed. I would give it ten stars if I could!

By far the best sounding enhancement app.
I have down loaded so many free and purchased even more music enhancement apps ever since I purchased the 4s. I have Bose over ear headphones and no other app has come close to the rich sound & deep bass this app puts out also really easy to use. Keep up the good work and if it is possible to improve it I can't wait. I have deleted all other apps I had, but there is one thing that would really be appreciated since you have been able to make it work with Google drive why not make it work with Google play?

Exceptional
Easy to use and a wide variety of selections to make your music sound superb. Downloaded to use for my small Bluetooth speaker and it makes the sound much louder but also keeps it crisp and clear and not muffled or scratchy by exceeding the standard speaker volume. You will spend a lot of time playing with it’s endless variety of choices making a standard music experience something much more. Not much of a reviewer but I highly recommend this app as it certainly deserves 4 - 5 stars easily. Give it a try and I’m sure you will agree.

Perfect for amplifying
Bought some Bose Sound Sport Free true wireless and they sounded super crisp. But lacked in volume in my honest opinion. I looked around for a music amplifier app and this popped up. Gave it a try and tried different settings. These fit the bill perfectly. Did the 2day free trial and they were great. Bought the year because of how well it amplified my Bose. My one drawback is it seems to disconnect every now and again from your music source and you have to close the app and reopen, then search again. Other than that it works well for my use.

JUST Don't bother... They'll take your money and run.
I bought the life time back when it first came out. It was awesome since i had an iPhone and took it with me. It had the sound effects and all, back then they didn't have the"streaming"thing but who cared i had my own music. Well they added a couple of streaming features and a subscription so they thought, well the hell with the costumers that bought lifetime.... To them your lifetime obviously means until they make changes to the app... Now god forbid i do anything without getting the subscription ad popping up and the effects i had purchased for life.. No more can access them, so now it's a useless app in the store. I don't write reviews ever...i had to warn, trust me don't bother👿👿👿👿👿👿👿👿👿👿👿👿👿👿👿👿👿👿

Partially supports lossless / .flac
I'm a long-time fan of Boom for Mac, and tried this out a while back. Cool, I thought, but at the time I was pretty wedded to Apple Music so it wasn't useful to me. Since then I've been getting more into lossless 24bit music, which is usually in .flac format. On a lark, I tried importing a .flac track to Boom tonight, and to my great surprise it worked. Why don't you advertise this feature?? Edit- just noticed it doesn't allow importing .flac from cloud services. Why only the partial support? By fixing that and allowing iTunes file import, you could easily care to the hi-fi market.

Boom Boom!!!!
If you like how music is supposed to be heard, than you found the right one! Can't stop jamming. Feel like I'm in the studio with the artist! I wish I would have found this earlier. If you like the trial than you will love it. It's no gimmick. It sounds phenomenal. If you learn how to tune it right you real can appreciate it! Well done Boom. I take my hat off to you. Money well spent on a quality product. I love when I spend money on something that really deserves it. Keep up the great work.

No mention of DRM restrictions
I’ve been a Boom! customer for years on iMac (desktop) and believe it’s one of the best products on the market at any price. The app for iPhone is unfortunately lacking. Due to DRM restrictions, iTunes blocks your ability to use Boom’s effects on a lot of songs effectively making the app worthless for a sizable chunk of my music collection even though I PURCHASED these albums and songs. *** It would’ve been nice to know this before I purchased a 6-month subscription to Boom!*** I can’t say I’m upset with Boom as it’s the fault of iTunes being a tight wad. But being more transparent about what you can and can’t do with the app would be a good start.

This app is great...but it needs some changes
I use this app everyday, it's great and not only boosts the bass of your music, but allows you to import music files from other apps that allow you to download videos and audio files from the web. This comes in handy when there's a song you want to listen to on the go but it's not on iTunes. Now, I've said all positive things so far, but there's somethings that need to be changed. A majority of my music, now, is on Apple Music. Boom would give me a DRM protection warning before allowing me to play the DRM protected song, just not with effects. I was perfectly fine with that, until I wasn’t. In a recent update, I found I was no longer able to play the DRM protected songs, even without effects. Do you think you could fix this?? Because I’m tired of jumping back and forth between noon and iTunes because I can’t access my Apple Music library. Thank you :)

Perfect if only…
This is a solid app doing what it says. There is one big shortcoming for me though. It would be so much more usable if there was a way of making whole folder playable off-line or at least had a feature to select all songs of the folder in order to make them playable off-line in one click. Making all the songs off-line from a folder of 50 songs is staggeringly unwieldy and time consuming. I paid for life-long license and I asked for this reasonable feature two years ago. It has never been added unfortunately.

What happened?
I like the new updates but you removed one of the features that set this player apart from all the rest! The ability to restart a song on the fly by holding the timer button back at the beginning and releasing it whenever you wanted to. This gave us the ability to simulate a mix. Please bring that back! Also give us the ability to remove the auto up next feature. I like to create my own queue and not have one made for me. Thanks!

Disappointed.
First off, I only wanted to try and then purchase the app for the sound enhancement feature. After the trial period, it turns out this app is subscription based and not a one time purchase. I don’t need streaming services. The option to use the sound enhancement for my own personal music library is all I need. Secondly, the app doesn’t extend the actual volume limit of the iPhone unlike the desktop version does so what’s the point. Sound effects don’t mean anything unless the volume is actually enhanced. Thr ability to enhance the volume limit is the reason I purchased this app for my iMac and my MacBooks. Very sadly and unfortunately- this feature is NOT available for this mobile device version! No good 👎🏻

Could be great
Downloaded the trial a bit ago. If you are using a small speaker (think Alexa) you can realllly enhance the sound to the speaker’s best ability. By far the best app I’ve used. Except...I have about 20 gigs of Apple Music downloaded and some I added to library and some not or whatever causes the DRM Protected error. Only 1 in, being liberal, 20 songs are able to use the apps Effects. It’s on the developers backs to fix this issue which I’m sure everyone is scared off by. I’m not going to reorganize my library and downloads to work with the app- it needs to work with what I have. I’ll gladly change my review and buy the package if this happens—it’s definitely worthy of 5 stars.
