Need to rollback the update
Went to add coupons so I could go shopping. After figuring out that you HAD to update password with the new app, finally was able to login. Oh my!! The endless scrolling through every single type of name brand coke was ridiculous. I really liked the previous app that let you quickly add a coupon. I absolutely loved when it indicated the coupons already used and told me how much I have saved using the coupons. Now, it’s just endless scrolling and I really don’t have 20-30 minutes (internet is slow where I live) to add the 4-5 coupons. And now, I can’t tell which ones I have already clipped and used. Hopefully I figure it out before I lose my monthly ones.

User Friendly
When the app was first rolled out, I will admit I was a little frustrated because it lacked some of the features that were convenient in the old app. But rolling out any new app or piece of software is going to come with its glitches. The developer team quickly made changes and improvements over what was rolled out and it is now extremely user-friendly. Shoppers can view the weekly ad, click on a picture of the item they want, and place that item in their cart, all in one selection. You can filter VE coupons by food category to make it easier to locate what you’re looking for without having to scroll through many pages of coupons. The app also has predictive text so if a shopper is looking for some thing, it will bring up a list of items that starts with those letters. Another new feature that I really like is that you can select items and it will build a grocery list for you. What I would like to see added in the future is the ability for that list to tell me what aisle those products are on in the store. And perhaps sort the shopping list in order of isles. I would like to have the ability to click on an item inside the celebrate, cooking magazine, and add those items directly to my cart. Either one or all. The click and shop feature is available for the weekly circular and the web saver so I think, adding that feature to the celebrate cooking magazine would be awesome. Great job Brookshire’s listening to feedback and making improvements.

Total waste of time
If this is what Brookshire’s calls bug fixes, don’t waste your time. I had surgery recently and my husband is useless in the grocery store. Thought I’d order online and have him pick up the order. No problem, right? This really shouldn’t be that hard to do, but I spent more than a couple hours shopping online. By the time I finished, I had several items listed up to 5 times each, not by choice. Every time I tried to change the number of items or even trash-can it, the item was added again. The number of items in my cart never changed, but who wants to take the chance. There are only two of us and we don’t need 5 packages or corn tortillas or 5 packages of sliced cheese, among other items. How do you even check out? I never saw a PAY HERE button. Almost every response from the “Developer” on here is “talk to customer service”. If you’re the Developer, looks like you could do something about this mess. Or maybe Customer Service should be responding to these reviews. Something tells me they don’t even read them. I’ve spent a lot of money at Brookshire’s over the years, as did my mother before me and I’m 70. I’m more than ready to take my business elsewhere, even if I have to drive 50 miles. If you want to go out of business, close the doors already! Maybe then we can get HEB or even Kroger here.

Why did they change the recipe section??? It’s so bad now
I loved the old recipe section. You could sort by type of dish, but you could also search ingredients and save favorite recipes. Now all you can do is sort by recipe type. You can’t even see your favorite recipes anymore. I had a recipe for honey roasted carrots and parsnips that I “liked” in the app to save for later. Now I can’t access my likes, I can’t even search for recipes that contain parsnips. All I can do is scroll through 130+ side dishes (if they are even in there? Maybe they’re in vegetables?) loading the recipes just 10 at a time. And it doesn’t load fast either. I regularly used this app to find interesting recipes. Now I don’t think I’ll use it at all. I can’t exchange my thank you points for anything except gas discounts, but we don’t have Brookshire’s gas stations around. I get the weekly circular in physical form. Why do I need to open this app at all anymore? It’s just wasting space on my phone.

New app
I really do not like the new app as well as the other one it takes longer it just is not easy to use. Wish they would change it but I’d also like to see more checkers unless self checks. If you’re getting an item or two, it’s not so bad but we shouldn’t have to check out our own groceries When you live in an area that has slow Internet, sometimes none is very aggravating with a new app Jfrom Whitney

Recent Update is Atrocious and Not User-Friendly Anymore!
I loved the app before I was forced to update (which I always hate updating things because it never fails to just get worse). Now I can’t find anything!! It used to be so easy to find the weekly e-coupons, to put things on your list, to find anything but it’s almost impossible to do so now! For example, for the e-coupon, the app makes you scroll through each individual specific item and forces you to have to choose the exact cheese you want, whereas before, the applicable cheeses were grouped under one coupon. Now, I have to scroll through the 20 or whatever cheeses that coupon applies to and have to clip the coupon for that particular, specific flavor. What in the world?? Why? Super frustrating!!!

Update wiped out my history
I updated my Brookshire’s app and it wiped out all of my history. Not cool. I’ve been using the app weekly for over 3 yrs and had my list of items that I always reorder. Everything is gone and I’ll have to start over to build my preferences and usual items. I just hope the search engine is better on the updated app - old one was awful and very frustrating. I love Brookshire’s and rarely buy groceries anywhere else. Just sad I lost my total history.

Latest version very difficult
I used to love using this app. It was always so easy to access the E coupons and click them. Recently they updated the app to where it was basically a almost totally new version. Now it is very difficult to navigate. I have been in IT for the last 20 years and I have gone up and down and sideways trying to figure out some of the nuances of this newly changed. I haven't read any of the other reviews, but I have a gut feeling that overall people are not happy with this new app. If it continues to fail me, I not only will delete the app but I will also stop shopping at Brookeshire's.

Even worse than before!
The Brookshire app was never particularly intuitive. With the new update to the app I may never shop there again! As others have said, it’s ridiculously cumbersome to add e-coupons now. Not only do you have to scroll through all the “like” items, but I had to click on the “clip coupon” button NO LESS than 4 separate times before it was finally “clipped.” Some took 6 “clicks” and this was for EACH & EVERY coupon I wanted to clip! ABSURD! Brookshire needs to study the Albertson’s app and take a hint from them. Albertson’s has always had the best grocery store app. Very user friendly and intuitive.

Quit complaining
Their coupons, they’re one cent sales, they’re buy one get one, are all or a whole lot better than Wally world and the lines you have down there if you think this is bad ! With this administration, you’re really going to be upset. So smile, take a deep breath, and enjoy the effort that’s been made to make your shopping experience joyful.

Ecoupons headache inducing
I don’t need to see every product available and have the drop down button for the one coupon that has already been clipped. It took a 10 second task and made it 3 minutes ending in a complaint. This is not intuitive software very difficult to use please bring back the coupon details and then clicking to see the participating products. This is the worst update I have ever been forced to download, because I have a headache now. Don’t know who approved of it but they should have a good talking to about intuitive design and how it helps customer retention.

So easy to use for Curbside!
I love that I can add the eCoupon I want and then add the item to my cart! I can shop right from the ad. I tap on the picture and easily add the item to my cart! This saves me so much time! I even noticed I can modify my order after I placed it!!! I always forget something and this saves me from creating a whole new order

Continue to complain about prices not matching the register always have to go back to get refund . Continue to complain about cleaning conditions about men’s restroom stinks of dried urine . I have weak bladder got to go continuously a bowl block & some fabuloso on the tile would work wonders . One day I was complaining about the smell & a lady beside me said she could also smell the same urine smell in the hall way I think the workers there have become accustomed to the smell. I never will don’t want to shop at Walmart but might have to if you can’t afford to put some bowl blocks & fabuloso in the urinal.

Frustrated Shopper
I give up! The new app is hard to use. The coupons I want to clip are impossible to find. When I get to the store, I cannot locate the coupons on the app that I have clipped. The new app is not customer friendly. Love my local store and the people that work there. Do not like the app.

Worst Update Ever!
They removed the ability to add the advertised ecoupons. Instead they divert you to 1300 endless useless coupons. Its like they don’t want you to get the great deals they seldom have. It’s also a lot slower and actually freezes up during endless scrolling through the ecoupons. Originally I was able to get the ecoupons on their website after the update but they fixed that as well not to work. Another indication they don’t want people to get the good deals. They should be ashamed of themselves.

Difficult to use lists
I like to make my lists to go shop in person, but I can’t delete items once they are added. It’s very difficult to use the app this way. What’s the purpose in having it as an option if it won’t work correctly!? Now I guess I will use it to check availability and price and write it down on a piece of paper and hope I don’t forget the list at home. What a crappy app.

Horrible! App is ruined now.
The recent update claiming enhanced shopping experience is a lie. Not better at all. It’s terrible now. Clipping coupons is a nightmare now, scrolling through hundreds of types of the same product to try to find the one item you wanted to buy. Who in their right mind is going to spend time doing all that? Especially with slow internet signal. The old app was super easy to and convenient. Go back to the old app features or else you just lost a customer.

Update is TERRIBLE!!!!!
Please go back to the old version because the new one is so confusing and trying add a coupon is absolutely ridiculous!! I have to scroll through several pages of products just to get the coupon I want. I can’t see the current coupon’s or see my points either without switching to an actual web page. Everything was done in the app. I don’t like it because it’s not user friendly like the previous version was. Change it back.

New app is horrible!
This new update is a horrible version of what was a decent functioning app! If the goal was to make so difficult to use that we won’t then you may have succeeded. I may drive to the next town to shop HEB. They’re coupons are hung right on the rack. Brookshire’s is an expensive place to shop but I did appreciate the easy to use coupons every week. Even though I’ve noticed the items started to become things that weren’t as appealing as they once were.

Took away in store map
The app is such a pain to use now since an update some months ago. I used to be able to figure out where items could be based on the map inside app that would give a general area. Wasn’t always right but gave me idea where to start. Now the app serves no purpose. Disappointed. What’s even worse is that the new app will constantly be crashing when I tried to check points, maybe that bug has been fixed.

Out of stock
I had 60 items in my order and 8 were out of stock. This is not rocket science. The store’s inventory management systems updates in real time (assuming the on hands is correct in the store), so the app can sync to the local store, at least daily. This is an easy fix. No substitutions for any of them. Now I have to go out again, to another store for my items. Unfortunately this happens with every order. Not cool!

Security too high for a coupon app
Your app signs me out because my “session expired” then it won’t accept the password. So I press forgot password. Go through the website and change it. Then it won’t accept the new password I put it. Seriously guys, this is a coupon app so I can see what’s on sale this week. It doesn’t need to pretend to be a bank app.

e-coupons
Unlike HEB and Kroger , when you “clip” a coupon and check out on your phone the coupons DO NOT apply , it shows full price. I made sure app was updated (it was) and then emailed Brookshire why coupons arent showing up to deduct my total from $56 when it should be $30 after coupons , she said the coupons are applied you just cant see it but she couldn't explain why they need to charge my card full price !? a JOKE !

Hopefully I can create a new account to use this time. I have heart issues and need knee replacement age 77, so shopping instore is difficult.

Awful.
This app is almost useless. Holds coupons hostage in the digital world. Go to scan a coupon they may tout on the shelf, it doesn’t bring you anywhere near the actual product. My heart goes out to the older crowd on a fixed budget that peruse the sales leaflet and come into the store unable to access the sales prices advertised. Don’t even get me started on pharmacy tab being available but completely useless.

Hate new eCoupon feature
The old app was much better. Now you have to scroll through individual products to add an eCoupon. Not user friendly, very time consuming, and not all items listed in the ad as having an eCoupon are there so you can’t get the discount. Please fix this or go back to the old app.

Horrible app for finding and clipping coupons
Example: Coca Cola doesn’t show in search, even though they are on sale, and you need the coupon. Put in cola , several brands show , but not Coca Cola. Go thru the scroll and you have to scroll through every type /flavor of that product in addition to how many pages?? to find what I am searching. Frustrating at the least. It consumes too much time

They ruined their app & website
It is now nearly impossible to add a coupon to your account. You must scroll through every available flavor/style of a given coupon. Also no longer a way to search by category. And most importantly, now NO option to see what coupons you have clipped to your account. I am so disappointed. Why offer deals if no one can access them???

Impossible
I guess I’ve been spoiled by other shopping apps. This one is very difficult to use and when I tried to create a shopping list it gave me an error message: “Unable to add (whatever) to list” with every single item. Since I get the flyer in the mail every week and since I have to write my list on paper, what’s the point of the app? It seriously needs an upgrade.

You can no longer search an item and be told what aisle it is in. They made the app basically unusable. It was so convenient to search a product to see what aisle it was on and to clip coupons. Now you can’t see the aisle and the coupons are too difficult to use.
