My Showroom consultants are the best

The day I walked into Fergusons Showroom in Corpus Christi and I met Michael Cortez , I thought I met an Angel . He was the kindest , smartest and calmest consultant I have met. He helped me choose much of my plumbing and light fixtures and even taught me about toilets . He said so many sensible things to help hone into what would create the beautiful look .And he also introduced me to Cheyenne Kana and I was so grateful to know there was more than one of them Angels to help me through a complete gut and remodel of a 1880 farmhouse . They have completely Changed my mind about Ferguson. I had been to the store a few times before in years past and also recently in Austin but never had such a wonderful and productive experience. I had also tried to shop and purchase through Build but without them it wasn’t near as good. It was a hundred times easier with their help , guidance and action . I am very impressed with the caliber of people Ferguson Corpus Christi hires . Also a shout out to Cassandra who is part of their team and backs up the process that it is DONE . Thank you !!! Fantastic User Experience!

I love spending time on the Build with Ferguson app. The quality of product images, the product listing, categorization, relevant search results, the filters, the range of products, everything is state of the art. Fantastic detail to user experience and navigation. Buying is a walk in the park - with Apple Pay - it’s just one click! Couldn’t get better! Thank you to the whole team of developers and architects at Ferguson who made this happen!

Used to be good product and ecosystem

You order a product, system accepts your order and waiting for shipment…then you get a CANCEL for order already placed and accepted (and awaiting shipment…credit card not charged but no explanation or reason. Happened twice within last few months..and I get supply chain issues. Inventory management and system ecosystem between manufacturers and build needs improvement to manage expectations and work properly. Seems other issues as of late in app itself .. not just the hiccups behind the curtain…please get this working and have back office fix supply chain….build more locally perhaps?

Finally!

FINALLY this app was updated so I could use it. Previously no landscape view (and using a clamshell ipad case prevented using the app) and now appears their price filter bug is corrected and also see better filtering and selection options to speed up viewing their huge inventory. Hooray! Thank you for listening and updating.

Time saving and convenient

I use this site for most of my projects. Delivery is prompt, pricing is fair. To do all the leg work from my phone or computer saves me so much time. I have also, after building a project online, brought to the showroom and the sales staff was super kind and helpful.

App issue

Seems to glitch a lot when you add filter to where you scroll down a little and it “rolls back” and keeps repeating even tough it says there are a lot more choices to look at. It would also be nice if you can customize width length depth.... when filtering choices. Notice when looking at items you get a choice of size range but a lot of the times it leaves you looking through hundreds of choices to try to locate an item that is your size.

iPad App is old and abandoned

iPad app could be great, but sadly its not optimized and was probably updated years ago. Its cumbersome and does weird things like the back button from your cart taking you back to the starting screen on a different tab. Some really easy wins here but it seems like no to little effort has been spent on this app. Shameful for the type of money and project planning you can do with it.

Built Amazing

This is one of the best designed and operational apps I’ve ever used. It is easy to use, intuitive, and best of all, everything is where you want it to be. Truly impressed after using for over 5 years.

Crappy App

All you get is a small picture to look at with no product description or larger pictures. When click on an item I just get two large box that are all white and one box has the price and that is it. On the website I started a couple of projects and from the project it appears to be impossible to get the detailed product info. You have to search for the product get the detail. Bad enough experience I will just go somewhere else to purchase my stuff.

Bad customer service

The worst customer service they have no clue what they have in stock and what is back ordered the app is saying one thing and customer service saying a different thing and even after confirming they have it in stock it turns out the don’t but no one really lets you know or update you in any way. I’ve called many times emailed many times no one gets back to me with any update or response.i have changed my order 3 times cause of there incompetency.

Screwed up app

I am in the middle of a bathroom remodel and downloaded this app to look at fixtures. When I would choose a product to view, the photo on that page begins to automatically zoom out all the way and information does not show. Not sure if this temporary, but at this time it is not useable. Disappointed. I’ll go just to the website, as this app is totally useless. I only gave a one-star because there’s no option for zero stars.

Great easy to use app on the go!

The app is very user friendly and much easier than navigating the web based version on my phone. I was able to select and order all the plumbing fixtures for my master bath in the app!

Use to be great…now it’s terrible

This app use to be amazing for helping me plan and get stuff for my renovations but now when I click to view something it starts zooming in and won’t let me see anything. I’ve tried to see if it was just my device but it’s not. Just the app. I e tried undownloading and redownloading and restarting my device but the app still does the same thing. It only does this when I go to view a product.

Love this app!

I have ordered several items from this app. Their product descriptions are always spot on! Helpful staff if you need to call for any reason. Super fast delivery!! A great experience from start to finish!!!

Ceiling fans

Easy

Very easy to use and its nice to add items to certain rooms and projects. Build is very detailed with every spec you can think of. Some prices are high but its worth it for the details

Best Appliance, Plumbing and Lighting App

We are doing a full house reno and this app has made it much much easier to shop and track orders. Build is really a true organizing force to keep track of a house load of orders!

Great app - BUT

The app is highly functional and easy to use. That said, it has a TON of calls to advertising services that our ad blocker has blacklisted. (App won’t even load on our home WiFi as a result) Definitely makes me wonder about the amount of unnecessary tracking being done!

User interface does not work on ipad

I am using an ipad pro and the only thing you see on the “detail” is the price. I think the info is there as you scroll down you see blurry artifacts. Seems this is just poor development/ execution which is a shame as Furguson,with their hundreds of employees,should be able to hire a competent technology team to develop the app.

Loved this app till it stopped working

Great app originally. Then one day I went to open it, and it got stuck on the opening slide picture of the kitchen deleted and reinstalled the app with no success. I thought it was because my phone was out of date. Have just completely updated my phone and again tried to reinstall the app. No luck.

Does not display correctly

Had issues with this version since installing IOS 15. The navigation, search, and account features all work as expected. But product pages resolution changes to where you cannot navigate through the listing. Renders the app unusable.

What are you thinking ?

This is horrible! I’m trying to use it on iPad and it is simply IMPOSSIBLE. Any orientation the application stretches the pictures vertically indefinitely with description hanging somewhere in the middle. You cannot even get to it! Now. I am an architect trying to specify the product for my client. They just lost me to the HomeDepot.

App will not open

App was working fine and then suddenly stopped opening for me. Have deleted and reinstalled but nothing seems to solve the problem. Other apps work so not my phone or internet connection. Any advice on how to solve the issue.

Great but

Used the app extensively while renovating my house. Very useful. But it needs landscape mode so I can type on the external keyboard. I never understand why app makers don’t allow landscape!

Not for iPad

Forces iPad into portrait orientation, even when the device is locked on landscape. Makes for very uncomfortable shopping on larger devices. Also, locks all other apps into portrait and for a moment, when you go to close down any apps, they are oriented incorrectly, as well. Will definitely not use. Deleted.

Completely unusable

Please fix the infinite zoom in of the product when you click on the product to view it. Its ridiculous that this hasn’t been fixed yet.

Zoom issue when viewing item

This is incompatible with an iPad. Impossible to view an item because the page loads to such an extreme zoom on the photo.

See in room crashes the app every time I try to use that function. Takes me right out and makes me log in again.

Orientation

This app works as described. However would like to be able to orient the iPad screen horizontally instead of the fixed vertical orientation. Always my pet peeve with apps on the iPad!!!

Photos don’t size correctly

You can browse the lists but when you review the product details the images and content don’t flow properly. Too bad. I really like the app before.
