First, the good: closet feature with mix and match suggestions — it’s nice that the history and outfit suggestions reach back further into past seasons. As other reviewers have mentioned, keeping past closet items around for outfit suggestions is a key feature. And, the bad: it’s a pain to choose a stylist and/or fashion show and be asked to update my profile EVERY TIME I open the app. Can’t this information be saved so I can skip this step and get right to the good stuff? I was an early adopter of the app and liked using it for shopping, at parties, and for outfit planning. Going through set up steps every time I open the app is getting tedious and making the experience awful.

I wish we could keep our closet items we’ve purchased in past seasons. I’ve had many of my closet items disappear after a certain number of seasons. At least half of my Cabi wardrobe isn’t available in my Cabi tap closet any more. They are great pieces, that still carry color into newer seasons. And I’d like to be able to continue getting suggestions on adding new items to freshen wardrobe of items I bought three and four years ago.

I submitted a review a year or so ago when there was an update that made this app useless. Doesn’t look like that was ever published. Just updated in anticipation of the new season and discovered most of my items were now missing! Cabi, please stay in your clothes lane and find someone, anyone from a middle school that has some rudimentary app skills to fix this thing. Wish I could get back the hours I’ve spent locating older items to add to the worthless app. Truly, truly not worth the memory space or desktop real estate it requires.

I love Cabi and I love my closet, but I really wish the app wouldn’t remove clothes from my closet. Just because an article of clothing is 2 years old doesn’t mean I’m still not pairing it with newer pieces. The suggestions and ideas of pairing items together is very helpful and I would be willing to pay a monthly or annual fee for the app if all my purchase items could remain in my closet until I personally remove them.

As other have said, closet items disappear- or as of this week - randomly appear!! The app is slow to load and respond, errs out, or doesn’t function at all (seriously, why is it so darn hard to delete items from the closet???). This app has so much potential if it could just keep up with the times. Update: now the closet “wear now” only recommends mixing the chosen piece with items that are NOT in my closet - recommending new items only. My favorite feature was the wear now so I could see what items that I already own could go with new piece.

The app doesn’t work as intended. As others have noted, it keeps dropping things from my closet. But functionally it’s dreadful. Things don’t load properly. Navigation is finicky. Organization is odd (why the hunt for the two mid-season collections?). It’s a pity that the app isn’t the quality of the clothes. Cabi could be my go to if it were.

When you’ve been a cabi follower since before the inception of cabi tap, it would be nice to have a search feature in your closet so that you can go straight to the item you are looking for rather than having to scroll through everything.

This App could be good for Cabi ladies who need to keep track of what they already own if it worked correctly but otherwise, it does not not do this well nor other functions I would assume a company like this could offer. My Closet- has no search function to find the item your looking for. You have to scroll through everything you have to find something. The only search, is to add a new item. My closet/Wear now- does not work. It does not find the items you own and pair them. It practically ignores half your closet. My closet/get new look- pulls the items you already own. IT TAKES SOOOOO LONG to load even the most simple pages. Even on high speed WiFi, it spins for 5 mins just to lead the home page when you first open the App. Even longer in Mt closet. Overall, this App needs a complete overhaul!

I like housing all my cabi pieces in one place and seeing what they will go with in my cabi wardrobe. However, the app is very slow to load and navigate. When I try to remove an item I’ve gotten rid of and click on the “x” it opens the item. After trying multiple time it will finally ask me if I want to remove it.

Terrible app! EXTREMELY SLOW to load ANYTHING! Pink circle just goes around and around and around until it opens! Then half the time it freezes and nothing happens. Please fix this app as I love my Cabi and love looking at what I have purchased to combine with other items I have in my closet. It is so brutal trying to look up things in this app I hardly do anymore. Please spend some money for a programmer who can fix these problems.

I agree with the other review to keep prior closet items!! We buy Cabi because it’s timeless and has longevity, and one of the best features of the app is to remember what you have and pair it with other pieces (new or old)!!! I also find the app gets overwhelmed and stalls out when loading items

This app is TERRIBLE. It is very slow and it has no feature to go back, so to look at the current collection, you have to keep going back to the home button and starting completely over. I wish they would update their app because I love their clothes and it would be an easy way to look at the current clothes available.

I don’t know who cabi is hiring to build and manage their app but they should fire them immediately. Basically all my clothes are cabi and I never shop in the current season. I only hit up the outlet stores so I’m always 1-2 full years behind the new stuff. Why have you deleted all the items from my closet?? How can I mix and match my items when my items are no longer accessible?? FIX YOUR APP PLEASE

The closet pairing is an amazing feature except it takes way too long to load any items to find out what they pair with. Just now I’ve been waiting over 5 minutes for an item to load to get details and pairings. It’s really frustrating

The good: Wardrobe feature using your closet for outfit inspiration. The rest: Terrible. Pink circles of death as soon as you open the app and every time you try to look at another feature in the app! Most of the time, it simply freezes! Please spend some money for a programmer who can actually fix these problems.

The app gets hung up every time I use it. The closet feature just doesn’t work. It would be better to offer less on the app and do it well, rather than frustrating your devoted customers with buggy software.

It's slow and not easy to navigate to the collection by group. Also I would like to bulk delete from my closet. Also I need to remove it every so often as it gets broken 🥲 keep trying please to make it better - it's a good idea!!!

I’ve been trying to use the app for weeks and keep getting a technical error. I’ve deleted and reinstalled multiple times and can’t get past the login. Very frustrating. When it works, it’s great. Love the use of My Closet.

I like many features of the app. Wish it could house more historical pieces. But my biggest complete is the app is very slow and crashes frequently. Today, launch of Spring 2023 and you cant even get in to see the new collection:(

I love my CAbi clothes and stylist. I do not care for CAbi tap because it removes my purchases way before they actually come out of my closet. I would use it for styling if it would leave my closet alone. It annoys me that my favorite pieces are not in the app!

I agree with the previous review. I have lots of great pieces that have fallen out of my closet. I wish they stayed longer.

It takes a loooong time for the Looks to load, it spins and spins. Also, I want to put past season items in my closet and they only go back so far. Hoping for upgrades to this app.

I’m not even sure why I keep trying with this app. It’s slooooooow, it locks up and my closet is never like I leave it when I update it. I’m done and deleting this app.

I seriously LOVE my cabi app. My favorite part is the “My Closet” and I use it to pack for all my business trips when I’m looking for a different way to pair my items and trying to minimize my packing. However I was sooooo bummed when the new season rolled over this past December (when I couldn’t use the app at all and then when the new season was loaded all the old pairings from my current closet didn’t show up anymore :(. I wish I would have taken screen shots, but it would be even better if the app automatically included past seasons and new seasons. At a minimum if CABI could have a static file that I could look back to in the future. I would prefer not to have to use a work around when the data was already there. An additional bonus that would be cool is if I could add in my own pairings via an easy picture upload in “My Closet” to show additional options. These features would make me a LIFER!!

My stylist does giveaways based on customers downloading the app and using it. I can download it, but it gets hung up loading. I love the idea of this app because most of my closet is Cabi. But it does not work. Nobody responds to requests for help.

Pages are painfully slow to load. Do like the closet and suggested outfit features.

My favorite fashion/style app, hands down, I consult this app almost daily if I’m leaving the house!! Fantastic clear photos of CAbi pieces that you can add to your virtual closet with ZERO effort- no hours of taking photos and editing required unlike other apps — amazing!! Your virtual closet is stored and does NOT EVER GET REMOVED (unlike what other reviews state). Other features include tons of outfit suggestions, for both pieces you own and pieces you don’t own — and these DO get refreshed and replaced with each new CAbi season twice yearly. You can view current suggestions for matching pieces in your closet with IN season CAbi items, allowing you to continually reimagine different ways to style your current pieces. You can also view recommended pieces to buy that match CAbi items you own, and send your order through to your stylist. In the future, this app could be improved even more with the ability to self-create outfit ideas and save indefinitely outfit ideas.

Pros of the app: **Helpful organizer **Able to save Favorites and use for purchasing if so desired **Can use phone at a party to Favorite items in the same order as the presentation **Can add purchases made from a sale rack **Shows outfits with pieces from most recent season paired with items you have from previous seasons Cons: **No capability to create outfits from a mixture of seasons. I had outfits put together from previous seasons, and they are now gone. As the app updates, your closet will only show outfits that include items from the most recent season. In my own closet, that's not how I do things! **Some seasons do not even show on the app (too old?). Improvements needed: **Be able to show outfit suggestions based on picking and choosing from any and all seasons - realistically, every possible outfit that could be created within the user's virtual closet. **Allow the user to create outfits on the screen based on their virtual closet that are able to be completely manipulated without pulling everything from a real closet. **Ability to save Favorite Outfits/Favorite Looks in a static file **Ability to create and save user's own "Look of the Day" for a minimum of 1 week at a time - an excellent tool for those of us who like (or need) to plan ahead

Love the concept! Great idea if you are a regular customer but doesn’t work half the time. All my guest at a party were required to sign up and app didn’t work for half of them. If it’s a business requirement, it needs to be more reliable and user friendly. 1/2 of my Cabi items were deleted after the most recent update and I can’t add items any more. I am a very, very loyal Cabi customer. I but a lot with current seasons and I but things after the season is over.I am not able to add things I bought after the season. And lots of things Cabi as added for me when I complain to them show the price but no other info. Needs a lot of work. Lots of work.

Love that my Cabi purchases are in one place, plus it’s so easy to use at the parties. Like that it shows you outfit options for what’s in your closet. Wish you could favorite outfit combos from previous seasons. Instead they wipe them clean each season and load with the new season. Some pieces that are “older” no longer have outfit options which bums me out. You can only see what new pieces will go with what you already have in the browse section but once you buy it you can’t retrieve that look. The app is so close to being perfect just a few more tweaks and it’ll be 5 stars. Another glitch is that my shopping cart will sometimes stay full even after my order has arrived. I have to delete the app and reinstall.

I am having so much fun with cabi tap! It’s been great to browse the lookbook and easily add to my favorites from my tablet or phone. But my favorite feature relates to my closet. Past items I’ve purchased from cabi are matched to the current collection. I have used this to prioritize which of my favorites to purchase and also get outfit ideas. I had previously suggested cabi allow clients to add or remove items from closets within the seasonal range in the app, and that capability now has been incorporated in the latest release! It took me some time to get my closet updated but was an easy process and I love the results! Future enhancements I would love to see: Generate outfit ideas from what is in their closet, including mixing more than just the current season with one older piece. For instance, if they don’t own this season’s white zip skinny, but own the white kick it crop, show the outfit pairings with those instead. Also give clients a way to save their favorite suggested outfits for ideas rather than just as favorites. Thanks for creating this technology! So cool and can’t wait to see how it evolves!

My App is frequently slow to load or freezes or requires back-paging multiple times instead of allowing me to toggle back and forth to different sections of the App. Gave 3 stars b/c I love the closet and suggested pairings sections. But if the glitches are fixed it could easily be a 5. I tried to upload a phot to my profile and app and website both froze til I closed them so IDK why and the “contact app developer” rerouted me to the website so I’m not sure how closely these suggestions are monitored or how likely they are to be fixed. But in general I love CAbi so I’d love them to up their online game. I’ll still buy through my consultant but an easier interface would persuade me to use/buy more often.

I was just at a CABI party last night where the host was encouraging all of us to download and use the app. I pulled mine up and showed her that mine crashes immediately right after I open it and she advised I delete and reinstall the app so I did. Did you create a new app at some point? When I searched for the app in the App Store, I had to download a completely new app and not retrieve it from the cloud. Now I can open the app, put in my email address, hit continue and that takes me to the “New to CABI?” screen where I enter my info to start a new profile. I am not new to CABI and already have a profile, so I click on the link at the bottom that I already have a profile and I’m sent right back to the initial screen but there is no field to entire my password. How am I supposed to sign into this thing?

I loaded the app and logged in and it was a lot of fun to browse my closet and check out all the features. I was in it a lot those first few days. Then, starting yesterday, I received an error and the app wouldn’t load. I deleted it and reloaded it. Then, it let me sign in and worked correctly but after I closed it and tried to get back in later, I received the error again and it wouldn’t load. Now, it only works after I delete the app and then go to App Store and reload it. I have to do that every time. Not sure if anyone else is experiencing this issue. Hope it’s resolved soon. I was enjoying the features.

Finally after this last update the app works with Face ID-thank you! I have to say I wholeheartedly agree with everyone in my disappointment that items I have purchased previously were removed from my closet. I have spent quite a bit of money on Cabi clothes and having all the pieces to reference what can go together when at a show or browsing is fun! Good clothing lasts longer than two years and I continue to find things that coordinate. Please at least make pictures of the items available to search and add back. Let me control what’s in or gone from my closet.

I really want to like the app, but I wish it could do a little more. It would be awesome if you could add items to your closet manually. That way I can include items from a sample sale in my closet and get outfit pairing ideas. I love the pairing feature, but I can’t really use it like I want to if I can’t have all of my items. It would be nice if you could add items from past seasons too. I LOVE that Cabi thread matches and it would be really cool to be able to find items I have from older seasons and pair with current items. It would make me more likely to buy newer stuff to. I could see what of my items from previous seasons matched the new stuff 👍🏼

Let me first day I absolutely love many of the features of the cabi tap. The outfit paring and suggestions are awesome. But…. this brand is promoted as long lasting clothing that’s timeless and yet you remove items from my closet that I have purchased over two years ago. Super disappointing. I can understand not having new recommendations for the older clothing styles but why completely take them out of my closet. I also don’t like that the sizes were removed it helped me when I’m purchasing at a show to know what size I having some thing that’s similarly sized.

I know the website has changed to a different scroll pattern for showing back and alternate images of garments. The app shows only one image per item. In addition to showing the back and side, it would be good for the app to link to an image of the garment on a model and ideally on more than one body type. Today that’s only possible switching between multiple views on the app (looks, catalog, shop).

you cannot promote that your clothing has years of style and then continue to remove our purchases from two years ago from our closet. I hate this app is continuing to disallow us from adding back our items from two seasons ago to our closet to help us mix and match with items that are just now coming out. It completely negates the fact that you will promote that your clothing is fashionable with a timeless quality. Useless feature now and I don't understand why you would choose to aggravate your clearly loyal customers? This seems like a ridiculous move.

I’m very disappointed that the new 2022 Spring clothing shows only one view, from the front of the item. In all previous years, we could see front, side and back of the item. I’m also super disappointed that on the description, no measurements are given. My Cabi consumption is way down this year and will remain so because of the over sized designs and poor descriptions.

I love this app but would love one more component. I would love if I could combine items in my closet. I love seeing pictures of CAbi models and how items are put together. I have worn outfits that I never would have put together myself. I would be awesome if they same could happen with items I already own and not just with the new stuff. I certainly would pay a small fee to download an app that did that.

Many items from past seasons have disappeared from my “closet” in the app...bummed about this, as I still wear them and liked to see how they would pair with the current season. Weird part is that it’s not consistent—some of the oldest items I have are still there, but items from just two years ago have disappeared. Please bring back the ability to add items from past seasons!

The Closet feature is extremely helpful putting outfits together and knowing which new items will go with my already existing wardrobe. I hope they will make this feature accessible all the time, not just when items are for sale. It would also be nice to add items on our own which were purchased from sample sales.

My favorite feature is the my closet. However, I would not only like to see how my older items would look with new items that I might want to purchase(recommendations), I would love the capability of seeing how a new item would fit in with the items I already own. That is one of the bigger selling points of Cabi, so it only seems to follow that I might only need to add a few items each season and want to see how they would look with what I own already.

This app is terrible or at least the absurdly slow password reset process is. Request a new password reset. Wait 45 minutes for email to arrive. App times out. Repeat. Get hopes up. Email finally arrives. Go to app. Oops. Password has expired! :) Repeat. Wait 30 minutes. Enter. Expired. Update app. Same thing. Try dive old passwords. Oops! Locked out. I am trying to buy things from you. I rarely give a negative review and I’m a huge fan and consumer of CAbi. I’m also in digital software development so I’m not a novice. Please fix this.

I liked how this app USED to look at what was in your closet and make recommendations to the item you selected. Now it only seems to look at only the current collection. Why make that change? That was one of the best parts. Also I wish this app wouldn’t remove old pieces of clothing from your closet when they update the app for the latest collection. THAT IS NOT RIGHT EITHER!!

For what this app could be it is a disappointment. I purchase a significant amount of CaBi every season. I use to enjoy being able to find pairings for pieces that were already in my collection as well as with the new/current collection. But it is obvious CaBi is only interested in using this as a marketing medium for themselves vs. providing a tool/service to their clients and having it be lagniappe marking tool at the same time. Shame on CaBi because what started out as a benefit feature for customers has turned into a one sided marking app for the company.

Please, please, please stop removing things from my closet. I have Cabi items that I love that are far older than 2 years. The ability to see how closet items can pair with new clothes was very, very helpful in making purchases that kept my closet updated. Many things I have cannot be re-added and that is very disappointing. I cannot really see any improvements in this update, just this HUHE negative.

Like others I’m having the same issue of having to delete the app & re-download in order for it to work again after closing it. Have had to do this several times. Also agree that we need to be able to manually add & delete items...would be nice to include more than the last 4 seasons. Would also be nice to have a tab to reference past look books to remember those outfit pairings as well. Nice first try but still needs a lot of work. Keep trying!!
