Chani gives me chills constantly! ✨

This app has by far lifted my life in so many ways. I am two years into astrology and this app helps me not only understand astrology and my Nataly chart phenomenally and way more into depth than any other app but Chani personally records weekly readings every week for the generalized public and a personal reading based on your chart. Let me tell you, once you get in the routine of every Sunday listening to the reading for the week, it feels as if Chani is talking to you personally right there and then. I will listen to my reading and the generalized reading every day of the week to really feel and understand the readings as they are happening and I feel I learn something new or hear something different each time I listen. It’s so crazy when you read and listen to your reading and then it happens in real life!! Oh the universe and it’s beautiful ways of connection ✨ I have unsubscribed several apps because they just don’t do the justice or gives me the same feeling that this app gives me. Chani you are truly outstanding!! Your creation here is truly one of a kind and has my full support. I share this app to everyone I know starting into astrology and who likes astrology. Thank you for creating this for all of us to dive deeper and give our souls the truest form of self love and understanding. Mixed Experience

I decided to cancel my subscription after using this app for several months. I stayed with the app because the meditations are absolutely excellent, and Chani is just such a gifted advocate, speaker, and healer. I truly found her meditations and the variety of them very helpful. I subscribed to the app because when I first bought her 2021 forecast for Aries (sun sign) in late 2020, which features the visual charts and allows you to go back and forth during the calendar year, there were so many dates that ended up being so spot on accurate that I decided to try her app. However, and this is my biggest complaint about the app, the app defaults to the rising sign. Not once in the several months that I’ve had the app did I feel that my Gemini rising sign reading resonated with me. Not once, and I’ve had my chart done elsewhere so I appreciate astrology. And then I would go read other astrology sites for Aries sun, and those readings and forecasts would resonate. I liked the aspirational tone of the content here but it became too general; we should all take good care of our health, tap into our creative energies, and release what’s not working regardless of our sign. Honestly, I miss her old content, and would rather just add that to the current meditations. The artwork is FANTASTIC, and the art department here is BRILLIANT! But honestly, the content began to feel irrelevant to me. If I could’ve kept just the meditations, I would’ve paid for that.

Love the App but I miss some things …

CHANI … I do so love the app. I look forward to the weekly readings and cannot thank you enough for passing on your gifts to the rest of us. I am a long time follower of yours and used to purchase the monthly readings you did on your website (that I believe have now been replaced by the app). As much as I love the app, I do miss two things. 1) Being able to listen to and digest all the readings for all twelve signs. I realize that’s a lot of content for the monthly price you were offering back then but I do wish you allowed for access to the “weekly reading” for more than one sign in the workshop section of the app. Although I already pay the premium fee, I would be willing to even pay extra for access to more than one sign’s weekly reading. Any thought to offering that option???? 2) I miss the charts that you made on the website for each reading before the app was developed. I’m truly a visual learner so they made it easier for me to understand the planetary movements through the houses and understanding the houses is a huge part of understanding your readings. Any thoughts on adding more charts, in addition to the basic natal chart already included in the app? Again, thank you for all that you do. I highly recommend this app to everyone who asks me about my interest in astrology … if you are reading this and are thinking about purchasing this resource, I give it a solid A+ !!!

Live Laugh Love

CHANI, I know you and your team will read this because you tell us on the podcast each week that you read all the reviews! So I’m holding you to your word because I don’t know how better to let you all know how GRATEFUL I am for this tool! I want to share with you an incredible breakthrough I just had using this astrology app. First of all, for context, my Venus is in Virgo. I didn’t really know what that meant until months of listening to the Astrology of the Week Ahead podcast started to sink in and I started to recognize my inner critic’s voice coming up, especially around themes of love, art, beauty, pleasure, and the relationship I have with my body. The meditations and affirmations in this app have helped me honor that activated protector part of myself, and calm my body with grounding practices. Today the daily meditation was on “friendliness”, and I almost skipped it because I’m a pretty friendly person already lol. But I gave it a shot and proceeded to have my MIND BLOWN by the way you walked me though how to treat my own BODY like a FRIEND!? Like actually extending the same appreciation and kindness and consideration that I would give others… to myself? I’ve been in therapy for body image issues for a long time with some slow progress, but this this little meditation packed such an unexpected punch of healing that I am truly in awe. Wow! I tell you what, wow! Thank you so much.

The CHANI App brings peace and perspective for me-and to share!

I listen to the collective and personal reading both at the beginning and end of the week. The first listen prepares me: I love the analogy of a weather forecast; when these astrological conditions are present, this tends to happen. At the end of the week, I re-listen to find understanding and reflect on my assumptions and/or gained insights. Chani also equips me to share astrology with others, as a tool for self-reflection! I moved from education to the corporate sector, and it’s been a tough transition. Corporate tends to be hyper-masculine and Capitalistic. It also has a lot of work to do for equity, inclusion, and justice. I share astrology with my colleagues to offer an approachable, fun way for them to consider our values, ethics, and behaviors. I now have the Director of HR asking me, “what’s going on with the moon?!” My team plans our live events around the astrological calendar! And, I recently led a session on AI and used the approaching Age of Aquarius (and referenced the previous one, during the Industrial Revolution) to help us understand what’s coming and also placate anxieties surrounding it. Thank you, Chani and team, for giving me a tool to help teach myself and others that we can (and should!) always stop to consider our strengths, growth areas, and the ways in which we can better the world around us. 🙏🏼♋️💙

The Most Personalized Astrology App on Earth

Not all astrology apps are created equal, because not all astrologers are created equal. Chani and her team have found a sublime balance between ancient wisdom and practical modern advice that culminates in horoscopes that are equal parts pithy encouragement and sage guidance. When you couple that with the app’s robust personalization, volume of content and features, and a beautiful and thoughtfully designed user interface, this app really does have it all. I’ve used the app religiously since it’s launch and it has become an interval part of not only my astrology practice, but of my life. I think it takes a certain level of experience in astrology to even appreciate how intricate and personalized this content truly is. So, if you’re new to astrology and wondering where to begin, let me save you some time: it’s with the CHANI app. Thank you to the CHANI team for all you do!!! Side note: The only thing I would request of the Chani team, is (1) to add additional asteroids (Ceres, Juno, etc.) and (2) to add a visual graphic of the current sky in the app, whether on the homepage, in the transits section, or as an outline on the natal chart (the app is my main reference for current transits but I often find myself venturing to other sources for a chart of the moment and it would be awesome to have that visual guide within the same app). ❤️❤️❤️

My self-care toolbox

There hasn’t been a single app I have ever left a review for, and this is my first one for a reason. I downloaded it in October of 2021, and since then have used it as my trustworthy guide on the journey of self-knowledge, self-compassion, and as “You Were Born For This” gently shows us, radical self-acceptance. My relationship with time feels richer. What used to be the Sunday blues has transformed into the exact opposite, as I eagerly await the holistic weekly reading for the week, along with journaling prompts and rituals that cast aside rigidity and offer malleability to my schedule while still providing me with comfort and support. I know that for every mood I am in, I can count on Chani’s soothing voice and the variety of meditations available to hold my hand through it. I frequently look at my chart, the descriptions of my natal planetary placements, and any current transits to gain a better understanding of what I am going through at any moment, and to remind myself that my past experiences happened for a reason. This app has not just provided me with an extensive and rich self-care kit; it has also helped me find more magic in my experience of my life. I am so thankful for Chani’s wisdom, and the whole team (writers, artists, developers, etc.) behind the app for this intentional and thoughtful creation. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Can’t live without it, won’t live without it! ✨

So I love Chani and her book is the most accessible I have ever read on astrology, so I thought I would try the paid version of the app and cancel if I didn’t use it enough. LOL, yeah, that’ll never happen. I can’t live my life without it. It is like a whole astrology class!! I have learned SO much! There is a weekly mini podcast and a weekly personal reading for your rising sign and how the major transits are affecting you—both recorded by Chani. A library of meditations. Altar suggestions for working with each major transit. Weekly guided meditation focused on each week’s most significant astrological activity (so lots of Full Moon/New Moon meditation). Full personal chart analysis of every planet and house, gifts and challenges of how they’re positioned in your chart. AND maybe my favorite thing—you can go in and edit and save the birth info all you want, over and over, so that you can pull a detailed chart analysis and recorded horoscopes for anyone you want. Life changing, seriously. The premium version of the app is worth a ton more than the monthly cost in my opinion. An absolute lifeline. AND the team NEVER stops adding EVEN MORE. There are constantly new and exciting features, refining and adding detail to personal insights and weekly overviews. Thank you, CHANI APP team, you all ROCK!!!

Want to trust, but…

My life has been hard from the start. I’m psychologically and emotionally abused daily, after having a mystery illness that was severely debilitating and was neglected during that time when I’d desperately need a “foundation” due to dissociative, panic, and terrifying hallucinations. I went into remission upon the disorder becoming an official diagnosis and having a medication to treat 99% of my symptoms, but had no luck preparing for my future before or since due to continued abuse and unusually bonding situations and strangely coincidental times of bad luck, which have become worse in severity and so often it’s very normal for me. I feel I was put here to have my life slowly eat away at my will to live as I have no one I can trust and I’m seen as worthless yet cannot escape the situation due to being stuck because of my environment and horrible luck. Any progress gained is taken away without rational explanation faster than I received the opportunity, or it’s blocked intentionally bc of abuse from those I love with (my own family). What if my birth chart says what all other clues have pointed to? Which is “you’re screwed!”? I’m afraid I’m beyond help and Spirit has “left me to the wolves”…can this app give hope to a life like MINE?? I’m desperate for any help. I’m just scared of the same outcome:/

Game-Changer for Astrological Studies

While I've always been an avid follower of astrology, I finally started becoming serious about learning astrology this year (Lots of 9H stuff happening this year for me—go figure!). CHANI has been such a big help in staying present with an “astrology mindset.” Starting and debriefing my week with this app has been key in keeping what I’m learning fresh in the brain, and I’ve learned so much about myself and my perspectives on growth and achievement. It’s also helped me on my healing journeys, and is my go-to when I’m in need of a good meditation sesh. As someone who struggles with anxiety and depression, seeing the world through the glasses of astrology has helped me ground myself and not feel so out-of-control (something I’ve disclosed in therapy; do not recommend treating mental health with just astrology 😭). It’s like a…“I work to know the universe, so I trust that it’s working to know me” type-a-thing! It’s also so stellar and important that CHANI as a company values liberation for all, and I really admire the support and benefits they provide for their employees. Overall, I absolutely love CHANI and recommend it to everyone. I can’t wait to start 2025 with it—just ordered my planner, too—and I know it will be a valuable resource once we enter Pluto in Aquarius for good!

Grateful for CHANI

I have never, ever, written a review for an app before. Not only, have I never written a review for an app before, I have never been intentional and proactive about going into the App Store and writing a review. But this app moves me so much, that I could not do much else but come here and share the word. I am someone who grew up watching Walter Mercado with mami, and till the day he went off the air, the entire house would go silent when the Horóscopos came on. His message resonated with us so powerfully, and the only other astrological content that has moved me as much is the knowledge in this app. To be fair, I’ve never been a skeptic (clearly), but this app always reminds me of why I am a believer in the power of messaging through astrology. The guidance this app gives me to navigate the mazes of my own being deserves its credit. I am thankful not only for the messaging provided, but for the hard work of all the folx who dedicate themselves to giving individualized content to its users. I hope you all know it has not gone unnoticed. I am a proud premium user, especially after looking at CHANI’s mission for equitable compensation amongst ALL their staff. Infinite Yummie gratitude

Mmm kisses and hugs giggles and smirks, what can’t I swoon over when it comes to receiving the bounty of wisdom-beauty overflowing from Chani and her team through the Chai app. I often reflect about her mindful devotion of creating the seemingly endless recordings she offers us. What a labor of love her business has become for all she supports within it and beyond it. What a life of service she has built requiring her to take time to create spaces of loving supportive intimacy in all of the teachings, inspirations and mediations on the app. It must be my astrology because she feels like kin as I listen, yet more importantly, it’s most likely her planarity placements and her momma bear or lion, of loving guidance she weaves into raw, real and nurturing vibrations coaxing us through the truth of the world while being ourselves. As I listen, the love, laughter and truth reaches and teaches me in deep and elevating reminders just when I need them. Sometimes I feel what I need between the vast array of what she says or she spells it out like she’s next to me and the visionary she is! These affirmations give me life!

Hi Chani, I love this app so much. I’ve been following you since your blog and early early days when it was still possible to do individual readings with you! I used to love the way you’d describe each sign, being able to read your prose on a weekly basis was my favorite thing. Even though I miss your weekly writing, this app is magic! (Shout out to her book though, if you haven’t read, it’s worth it - I got it for my high school cousin and even she has been loving it!!) I listen to the affirmations on your app every morning! I try and replace it with the mindless Instagram scrolling I want to do. Waking up to your voice and soft reminders is infinitely better for my day! I’d like to request more affirmations!!! I’ve listened to them all so many times now I can say some of your beautiful statements by heart. More affirmations and also some of the transcripts of the text don’t line up with your recordings, with my auditory disabilities this sometimes super throws me off. I’ll keep my fingers crossed you see this bc what magic it would be to have more affirmations to listen to - there is truly nothing else this tender and supportive and joyfully manifesting. Like a good appetizer before day begins and more

I check Chani app at least once a day, and listen to my Cancer Rising horoscope for the week as well as the horoscope for the week that affects everyone. I listen to the general astrology for the week so I have at least a few clues as to why my family (husband and three teens…yes it’s that real) might be feeling/presenting as they are through the week. I have and will continue studying astrology, I’ve even gotten a low level certification, but with the rest of life happening and while I’m finding my way during this crazy chapter of life I welcome all the help I can find while I am expanding my studies and purpose. Times are not easy and you HAVE been an astrology bestie, sometimes I’m reading your book (which is full of notes by the way). I hope to someday either work for a company like yours or create a company that treats my “blood” (employees) with as much grace as you do, yes you inspire me in other words. I appreciate that the app can be shared with my family too, and I’m encouraging them to use it though “listening to mom” isn’t very popular these days. I want to thank the whole Chani team for helping me through this adventure called life!! Sending blessings and love to you all!!

Love this app, too

I have slowly become more & more curious about astrology throughout the past 5 years or so & have learned more & more by listening to the forecasts & fiddling through the app. Mainly I love Chani’s “you were born for this” message. I love the positivity as we’re pointed out pitfalls, problems & issues—because life has those. Being a newcomer to astrology I am often confused about the astrological language & I am challenged by what it all means, when Chani says, for instance, “it’s a real Pisces moment” and enjoy slowly but surely figuring it out. It’s also just fun & I look forward to weekly updates. But like learning any new language, you think you can speak or understand & then comes the next challenge, where I am totally confused. I also super appreciate the various meditations. Something I also sometimes do is re-listen to the weekly forecast later in the week, because sometimes things (or astrological events) make more sense to me looking back at them after they’ve taken place. My request is whether the weekly readings can stay up for another week. I’d love on a Sunday to look back at the past week right before I look at the upcoming week as well & to have a longer time window to do that.

Sun v. Rising

I paid for the Chani app for about 3 months and I really did enjoy the content, it definitely caused me to reflect a lot deeper on myself and my actions towards the kind of world I want to live in and create. However I personally found that as I get older I don’t identify with my rising sign as much anymore as I do my sun and moon sign in a lot of ways, even though all my birth info is accurate down to the time - so the readings consistently felt a little off for me or confusing which is why I unsubscribed. Just something to consider when subscribing that the personalized readings are based on your rising sign. Also since we are giving feedback, and I really want to be honest - as a former blue but now non-partisan loving open-hearted human being who wants the best for each individual person and values personal decision-making, I was a bit disappointed at the bias in pro-vacc stance in the readings and in their hiring process as the business expands and sends out hiring emails. Just a few things to consider! But the app itself really is beautiful and easy to navigate, and I love the transcripts as well! Chani has a great sense of humor and imbues a certain lighthearted hope into all her readings, even when they have heavier or more serious content, and that is much needed in the world today!

My Beacon in a Stormy Night

I cannot tell you how much this app has meant to me. Every week the personalized readings bring me to tears of truth: either exactly what is happening or exactly what I need to move forward. She has accurately “predicted” my needing to accept sobriety and has continually helped me get back on track when I’m struggling. Like a friend who always has the best advice in every situation, providing exactly the support you need in every situation without pressure or judgment. You can simply listen to the reading and podcast if you don’t feel ready to make a move but if you want to work on challenges there is journaling and meditations among other things. I am a medium and my gifts have become greatly honed through your rituals, practices, and awareness. I cannot believe it has taken me so long to write the review besides I hate tuning into tech for too long. You got me through lockdown while giving me guidance through my transition with my family of 4 from Vermont to Cali- knowing no one here, dealing with addiction and depression, parenting and teaching, school and masks, fear and propaganda. Love it so far, hoping for Ipad version?

I just subscribed to Chani and am impressed so far, a very extensive app. I love the meditations (a nice surprise and likely a key reason I would keep the premium service) and currently had been using Calm and Insight Timer. The horoscope, charts, workshops and transit information is all impressive and detailed as well. Additionally, I like the journal exercise as well (Stoic is something I also use). I like the positivity overall of Chani and the app, the more encouragement the better in my book! Suggestions: 1) Ipad version please! For those of us that want to journal it is impossible to do so in a quality way on your phone. Most great apps work on an ipad. 2) More journal options/questions and encouragement. 3) Agree with another review who mentioned being able to see other signs (such as of your partner) and information about who they are and are experiencing. 4) Your reading of my sign/week in audio was cool, but a little above my knowledge base of astrology. Maybe a section to understand what all these things mean or why important could be helpful. Less critical, but an idea. 5) Maybe a list of the Top 3 things that are positive or negative for you that week. Warm regards… in peace.

From the beginning

I received the news letter in my email for about two years before the App came out. I became a paid subscriber as soon as I heard about it. It happened to launch at a time I really needed guidance and support and just like the news letter, CHANI’s compassionate and kind perspective gave me exactly what I needed to get through it. I’ve learned a lot about my chart and come to find acceptance and even love for parts of myself I have found challenging, in large part because I see it now as part of the OS I came into this world with. CHANI’s perspective on all of it has helped me to see that I can use my free will to work with these parts of myself instead of trying to subvert them. I love that IFS is beginning to come into the perspective as that also has made a hugely positive shift in how I view myself and my inner world. And it makes so much sense related to Astrology! This app is not cheep but it continues to feel like a worthwhile expense. I love the daily horoscope, it helps me start my day and often reflects my morning tarot pull as well! Thank you for all you are doing to help so many people see this crazy world more compassionately and for reminding us that kindness is always the best choice.

Chani- the star that you are 🌻

There are a lottttt of astrology apps and with AI creating/duplicating so much at a rapid rate, you can find solace in the Chani app. I have the free version and I have subscribed a few times (but $$ is hard rn) & I find the free version to give just an enjoyable experience if you aren’t subscribed ((worth the $12 tbh)). Chani is a seasoned astrologer, so her lived and learned experience makes her a great resource for folks interested in exploring this space for the first time. Her insights on the energies of yesterday, today, tomorrow, and further are easy to understand and further feed your curiosity. When you subscribe, you do get access to the full meditation list & they helped my rest the nights that I have listened to them before bed. I do wish they were a bit longer or to have the option to have a “queue” or “playlist” of them instead of having to pick on by one (no auto play next either). That’s about the only thing I would change so if you’re looking for genuinely the perfect app to learn astrology and understand you/the world around you (close and afar), this is the top of the list. Thank you Chani for sharing your wealth of knowledge and experience! ✨

CHANI is my new BFF

I have been clumsily studying astrology for 20 years hoping that I would eventually wake up one day and really get it. With the CHANI app and book I’ve gone from herky jerky to smooth sailing in my relationship to the planetary weather. Listening to the weeks forecast specific to my sign has become my new Sunday morning ritual. I plan my monthly and yearly calendar now using her yearly forecast, confident that I can ride the currents that are flowing. This has saved me so much frustration that I used to have feeling like I was swimming against the tides of my life. The struggles are still there but now I can ride them with a little more grace for myself and others, and I can catch the waves to boost my projects or relationships because I know they are coming. If I’m having a hard day I listen to the meditation for the week for my sign. If I feel unsure of myself I answer the journal prompts to help me find some clarity. It’s a beautifully and lovingly designed app. Amazingly user friendly it slides right into my days and weeks like a really good best friend. A lot of love was poured into making this app and I feel it every day. Thank you CHANI and friends from the bottom of my heart.

A partnership with astrology

I’ve been following Chani online since 2013, and the thing I’ve always loved about her work is the focus on empowering the reader to work *with* the transits, instead of being a passive recipient of the energy. The app takes this to a whole new level with personalized readings, journal prompts, altar suggestions and more. I’m especially grateful for her work this month, and decided to (finally!) write a review as a token of gratitude. In one of her recent podcast episodes (Week of July 24 I think?), she reminded us to be *in partnership* with the bumpy transits if they caused personal or collective upheaval. After receiving some really, really bad news in the following weeks, that idea became my mantra as I rode the emotional waves this news brought with it. Instead of feeling as if my world was falling apart, I got curious: what is this asking me to change, or remain steadfastly committed to? I still have a long road ahead, and many questions remain unanswered, but I’m so grateful to have heard those words when I did. It completely shifted how I’m showing up for this new phase of my life. Thank you Chani, and all of the web and app staff! You’re making a real impact. 🥰🥰🥰

A few tweaks would make this excellent!

I’ve been using this app since it started, I was waiting for a subscription service from Chani for years, and I love the weekly podcasts and rituals. I have some suggestions to make this app even better: one is to have the option to scroll forwards and backwards through daily horoscopes, meditations/affirmations, and transits for a given time frame. Another is to sort the ritual meditations by date or bump the newest ones to the top in case they were missed, and offer a search function for them by purpose/intention. A daily journaling prompt would be cool too! If you could listen to the podcasts while scrolling through the app (like to check your chart for degrees during transits for example) that would be super helpful. I think the buttons for the ritual instructions could be condensed and it would be great to have a push notification that takes you straight to the ritual. Finally, I like the info on the notifications, but they disappear sometimes, and it would be great to have a section for those and notifications for daily horoscopes and transit changes, maybe even a widget! Truly life changing

I’ve been interested in astrology for most of my life, but the Chani app is unprecedented. It’s able to utilise astrology in such a way that’s not only mindful and inspiring on a personal level – it focuses on collective awareness and on finding an alignment with our authentic selves in every aspect of life. And as a successful entrepreneur, Chani herself has so much to offer in terms of learning how to build a meaningfully productive way of living. She does this by example, but also through the weaving of her own knowledge and insights into the readings that guide us. It’s like mindfulness practice, therapy, and astrology all rolled into one. There is so much great content in this app and some of it is easy to miss if not checking it often, and easy to lose forever if not taking screenshots. I’d love the option in a future version where readings from a day or week or even year could be bookmarked or saved for later, even after their time has passed. And, having the ability to see one day ahead or back in the daily horoscopes would be amazing too! I’m so glad I finally trialed the premium version of this app and will definitely continue on as a subscriber :)

I love this app for so many reasons; you get coaching, rituals, your birth chart (With Sun, Moon, & Your Rising signs), constant updates to your birth chart all year round and so much more. The real gems here, at least for myself, are the general and personal readings via audio every week in addition to your full year. Chani’s voice is gorgeous and makes me feel like I am the only one being spoken to, with so much warmth, I feel like I am being held in the arms by the Goddess herself. Even with a rough week a head the reading is peppered with positivity and sage advice on how to maneuver the comic road bumps awaiting you. I get so excited for my Sundays now (new weekly broadcast every Sunday) as it’s a day for doing my cards and then I get to listen here and prepare for the week. You will get information about what to view in the night sky, from planets we can see with our naked eye to lunar eclipses and what they mean in the scheme of your personal chart as well as the overall cosmic landscape. I’ve been purchasing Chani’s readings (for new moons, the new year and how to better understand your chart) for a few years at this point. They’ve guided me into the light that still existed during the hardest years of my life. These readings have served as both mentor and friend through the pandemic and the death of my mother. This app offers the most consistent, in-depth and personalized astrology readings as well as anything and everything that could support and connect to your astrology. My favorite ap

I can’t love this enough. I want to write a thoughtful, cohesive review but this will just be me rambling about how great it is. I have learned things about my personal astrology and basic astrology that I never knew I wanted to. I’m in awe how well these energetic movements translate and are presented here. I love Chani’s kind, caring, and loving talks. If there was something “wrong” with it, I’m not sure if I’m committing the error or if the ap could use a tweak— but I have trouble listening to the weekly readings and having it play while exploring the ap, for example if she says something about looking at what house a particular planet is in, it would be nice to continue listening while also moving to the part of the ap where I can look at my chart. Having some more educational features would be nice, maybe a key of the cosmic bodies as they are presented in the chart, maybe guided tutorials? I think this ap is priceless. I would be happy to pay fir upgraded features. Thank you for sharing your passion with me. I’ve learned so much about myself and this has been an snacking tool on my healing and creative journey. Chani App Is A Community

I have followed Chani for many, many years and all of her work has helped me navigate life with an eyes wide-open approach as a participating human on this planet and also a mother, which trickles into ALL the things. The app is always reminding me in the most perfect moments what I feel is valid and also in sync with the cosmos. This month Chani has made the app free which was so perfect as the budget this month said “pause on extras” but here Chani is sharing during a transformative time so much love and wisdom. Aquarius Rising here with Saturn in Virgo in my 8th, Virgo North Node in my 8th, South Node in Pisces in my 2nd. The past 4ish years changed me forever. I let go of all the people I “should be” and showed up as myself. It was awful and also I am so thankful.I live in a different state, space, and am now in graduate school in my 40s as a single mama…and it’s amazing and I’m in love with it all as it gives way to the next steps. I’m so excited to see what transpires while Saturn is in Pisces. Again thanks to Chani and her awesome team for being community for all of us and helping to share the wisdom of the stars. Really displeased with the subscription to this app

This app is fine in its free version, but the subscription has ended up being a complete disappointment. I subscribed because it's advertised as providing your natal transits -- how the stars now interact with the positon of the stars when you were born -- which in my lived experience is absolutely everything in astrology. I don't care much what my sign -- shared with literally 1/12 of the worlds population -- means, those horoscopes have never held any accuracy for me. So I was excited to shell out for daily reads of my transits. The problem is the transits are a whole lot of nothing -- many are missing, first of all, including major once every decade occurrences, and those that are identified are mostly gobbledygook. They provide no meaningful understanding of the energy that is surrounding you and therefore there's no real way to harness your actions accordingly. I'm not a betting woman but I'd bet good money that these are written by a copywriter as opposed to Chani herself. Ive taken to googling the transits so that I can get a true astrologers take on them -- a weird extra step given the app is more than $100 a year. I think Chani presumes the user knows nothing about astrology and is using the app just for fun -- and that's great, just say that. The free offerings are fine, but the subscription is money down the toilet.

An app like no other

This app gives me so much powerful insight and guidance and has really helped me understand the fundamentals and beyond of astrology - charts, houses, signs, all of it interacting- it’s a tremendous resource on personal and communal levels. Thank you Chani and team for all that you do! As a company that I know is committed to accessibility and equity, I feel good paying for this premium membership. I just have one piece of feedback for the team, and knowing that y’all actually read all the reviews I hope this is able to maybe create a change in the profile options! The one thing I wish was different was having an option to change your name at any time- I’m trans and have had a few different names in life, and I feel like name transformation is a really common and also rly empowering aspect of trans community and for the sake of greater inclusion, I think a name change option would be helpful for a lot of folks. Non-trans people also go through name evolution of course, so I feel this could benefit everyone 💛 Thanks for working so hard to supply and maintain this resource- it is truly a gift to so many!

App is great when it works

Updated review.... every thing was fixed and the creators of the app were super responsive and helpful in taking care of the issue! The reading, guided meditations, journal prompts and altar suggestions are very helpful!!! I was totally loving this app. The workshop portion was very helpful and the guided meditations were wonderful. I wish it would allow me access to my sun sign information as well as I my rising sign and now for the past 4 days I have not been able to get into the app at all! I have gone through all the trouble shooting on the website, my iOS is up to date the app was updated 4 days ago and now when I try to login in it just says user not found and stays stuck in the screen with the CHANI redrawing itself. If I leave the app and try and go back I just get a totally black screen with nothing. Very frustrating when you’re paying for a subscription and have no access to it. I have emailed their support and only received an automated reply asking for my email, birth information and a screen shot of the problem with no reply yet. Very frustrating!!!!

Wonderfully done, also a request

I love this app SO much. Chani's interpretations are thoughtful, empowering and uplifting. Not to mention the app is beautifully done - this is coming from a person who has a Moon/Venus conjunction in Taurus in the 10th house. I have a deep appreciation for things that are not only beautiful but are also functional, this app does both. I would like to make a request for an "add to calendar" feature in the app that allows users to add a major planetary event to our calendars, ideally with the exact time that it occurs based on our current timezone. For example -- a button that allows me to add the upcoming full moon in Leo to my calendar, or add when Mercury goes retrograde on the 30th. Obviously this would require the user to allow the app access to the calendar and should be optional. Going a step further it would be even nicer if we could add specific personal transits to our calendar -- I have a Venus sextile Saturn aspect happening Jan 25 through 27, with an exact date on the 26th, it would be great if I could add that to my personal calendar and have access to the information outside of the app.

Nice but a lot of buzzword repetition

I’ve been using this app for a long time now and I generally love it (used it and my astrology for the best time to buy a house), but in the last year it feels like there is a lot of repetition of the same words with not a lot of expounding on the deeper meaning. So much talk about creative projects, passion, hobbies that are passions, and desires in creative projects. I think creative projects are supposed to mean an alternative to children in that area of the chart for child free people which makes sense, but especially in the journal prompts the questions and prompts lack depth and feel just full of words to hide the lack of deeper meaning. The confusing phrasing could also alienate some users. Sometimes I have to really sit and think about what she is even talking about when speaking about the same topic from five different angles and I’m still left feeling like I didn’t really gleam anything. Maybe my personal thoughts won’t be considered but I think if you want to reach a broader audience, meeting people where they are at with sometimes simplifying the explanations or journal prompts could help. I personally am on the fence of not renewing my subscription and looking elsewhere for astrological guidance.

Astrology is about poetry

To me the best defense when people come at astrology and call it a “pseudoscience” to try and demean the practice of it, is to remind them that it’s rooted in the very human desire to have a poetic and symbolic understanding of the world around you. Chani’s writing and week ahead recordings etc… are some of the most beautiful and simply poetic examples of translating astrology that I have found. I don’t hang my every move on the position of the stars and what it is or isn’t supposed to mean for people like me or any of that, but the times that I have been noticing something curious in my life and used this app as a tool to reflect and poetically engage with the larger energetic forces at play have been fruitful. Not many people have found a way to strike a balance between the nitty gritty transits and planets and conjunctions and all that stuff as well as the metaphorical and grounded poetic nature of their historical symbolism as skillfully as Chani and this app. A rare find and I’m so happy to subscribe and see this beautiful offering sustained and nourished so it can continue to sustain and nourish us for years to come. CHANI and the team have created the most beautiful and thoughtful Astrology app that I could have ever imagined. Great quality, but I wish it cost flexible!

I love the CHANI app, especially all of the interpretations and thoughtfulness. There are so many incredible features to use for healing in this app. I genuinely use the app every day to help me tap in with myself, my surroundings, our planets, etc. My only drawback is that I wish the price point was a bit more accessible to folks! I know Chani and her team are putting in so much work — the app, the book, the newsletters, the playlists, the podcasts, the meditations — but I wonder if Team CHANI would consider a patreon or something to allow some supporters to subsidize prices for others. I can definitely understand why Team CHANI doesn’t want to clutter the app or the newsletters with ads — it seems like she really wants to create a space away from the noise of profit-seeking commercials that many folks are forced to encounter all throughout the day. I think this is a great starting point that can really blossom, especially with a pay model that can allow for this app to be price accessible! Thank you for such a great response. A valuable resource

I don’t write reviews because I rarely spend enough time thinking about a resource to believe someone else will find it useful. But this is something else. I listen to Chani’s knowledgable, yet soothing, voice deliver the weekly forecast every Sunday - and again on Saturday once the week has passed. Because that’s when some inexplicable stuff starts to make sense. And the information is not specific in the way of traditional horoscopes, trying to identify specific events like a lovers’ spat. It’s more like a weather forecast that tells you conditions are right for a storm. Listening at the end of the week always brings meaning to something I may have already pushed from my thoughts - and that’s where the learning happens. You don’t have to know what aspects, conjuncts, or trines mean - I sure don’t. Chani and her brilliant team break it down for you in a section that tells you what the transits mean in ways that are both meaningful and up-lifting. What a gift. I’d like to suggest gift subscriptions, because I would be buying for all my friends.

AMAZING!!

I never knew astrology could be this enchanting 😊. I so appreciate having found this app! I love the feeling of connection with CHANI which also has you feeling connected to the universe. It is the way she delivers her messages making you feel special and appreciated as part of the whole. They are heartfelt and filled with her genuine love for humanity and hope for a better future which is actually happening right now. Thank you CHANI for your ability to make astrology fun and so much easier to comprehend as well as useful. I really do feel more empowered especially after purchasing your book because I am learning to be kinder to myself understanding better about my chart. One of the many insights I learned was that my difficulties with self discipline and parenting myself are in part due to how certain planets were aligned at the moment of my birth which made perfect sense and just knowing that helps me give myself a break. Everyone should have this app for the sole reason that if you ever feel lonely or need to feel immediately supported, this is a place to find it.

Recommend to everyone

I used to pay for a meditation subscription that I fell out of using because all the meditations were 30-60 minutes. I tried Chani for a month and was hooked on the meditations alone - most of them are 10 minutes and have lovely visualizations: one for sleep, another for manifesting, some just for relaxation. I do wish they were organized separately from the affirmations as both libraries are filling up and it’s a lot of scrolling to find things, and I also look forward to the day they and the “week ahead” podcasts are downloadable in the app because Chani is all I want to hear when I’m on a plane! But I have loved watching this app grow and develop and recommend it to everyone (including my therapist, who is as hooked as I am on discussing “the week ahead” - we have quoted Chani to each other in session before!). I love how Chani describes astrology like the weather, or a reflection of what is happening on this planet, and makes astrology feel a little more accessible for skeptics! Can’t wait to watch it improve more as more people use it.

Game Changer

At 62, I never thought I would be writing a review for an Astrology app, but here I am. My daughter had spoke of Chani years ago and I received the emails for a couple years. As a person who had left organized religion, I always felt a connection in nature to the earth, the planets and stars. I have been journaling for years and spend 2-3 hours every early morning in my 3 R’s- reading, writing and wrestling. This app has been such a confirmation of the path I am on and just feel intensely right in my bones. I look forward to each weeks readings and listen intently to how it continues to be spot on at where I am and where I am headed. It has been The Great Awakening as the words are put in a way that not only I can understand but embrace with abandon. To say I would recommend it is an understatement. I wish I could pay for everyone I know to have it. Thanks for curating from your hearts, a beautiful way to come alongside humanity and help guide each one’s Journey. Love and a query

I love the Chani app. I have Chani’s book, the annual planner and the annual subscription, and quality astro merch galore. I use the app every day (word to the wise - turn in notifications, they’re absolutely magical). I have a query / challenge to the folks of Chani - somewhere, anywhere, could you please put reference to the traditions and peoples that the rituals and altar suggestions draw from? It feels 2000s neo-shamanism-y to me to see these recommendations that came from somewhere glommed together and expressed like they’re either net-new info, or “no one knows where they’re from” appropriation and whitewashing. I know that’s the opposite of what you all are about. Maybe a really in-depth evergreen / updated as needed blog piece could be written, and then linked within the app in the relevant section. I intentionally don’t use the ritual and altar suggestion sections because of their headless un-foot-noted nature. It would be so amazing if something was put out there to connect this in time, space, and beingness to those who came before us. Thank you for your consideration.

Ouch Chani, this hurts.

Oof. As a long-time follower and a paying subscriber, I’m really shocked. I could go on about what many others have brought up (the removal of a key unique feature of this app before the update), but what really disappoints me is Chani’s lack of response. I’ve read many saddened comments and reviews, all which I completely empathize with, and Chani has not addressed a single one. If there are responses to a disappointed review, it’s just a standard-response “We hear you and we’re taking notes” from the Chani Team. I was hoping I might see this addressed on Instagram, as maybe an apology or explanation to those who expressed sadness, but any of the new posts or stories only highlight the ✨awesome new features✨. It seems really dismissive, especially coming from a highly respected individual who works against this form of harm. It might seem extreme to call it that- but I paid a good chunk of money, a year’s worth in advance, specifically for the 5-star content that is now inaccessible and seems that the Chani team will no longer be doing. Seems like kind of a sell-out move, but I wouldn’t really know bc it hasn’t been addressed. So ya….. Chani Team... y’all messed up, but I respond really well to sincerity and accountability.

If you're serious about living in your best, most aligned timeline, I urge you...I beseech you! Invest in the Chani app. I've been a devoted listener of Chani's weekly horoscope for well over a year, and have come to rely on her insights as essential in planning my week. I didn't grok the fact that the weekly horoscope is simply the tip of a GIGANTIC TREASURE TROVE ICEBERG! The bulk of the treasure is in the app! As an autistic, right-brained woman, I find it very difficult to keep astro facts straight in my head - I know my "Big 3" (sun, moon, and rising) by heart, but beyond that, I need notes. And that's where the Chani app has truly become my favorite tool of self-discovery. It's all there, in exquisite, personalized detail, with absolutely adorable graphics. And the meditations are an incredible bonus. Finally, I LOVE Chani's ethics. If you don't know about how she runs her business and treats her employees, look it up. I'm a proud Chani fan (I feel like we need a more specific moniker...Chanite? ChanStan?), and I'm grateful to have found such a source of compassionate astro knowledge.

Missing the current sky horoscopes

I have been a subscriber since the very beginning of the Chani app, and up until now, I have been so thrilled with it. It has been a consistent tool and guide for my life, giving great clarity and wisdom every step of the way. I so appreciate the holistic, inclusive perspective that is infused throughout the app, and the design is gorgeous. All that being said, it gives me no pleasure to report that the changes in the last update are really detrimental to the utility of the app. They have done away with the current sky horoscopes, which were 13 extremely useful, insightful, and deep horoscopes that helped me to understand all of the various aspects happening, and how they all fit together. If feels like by getting rid of those horoscopes and replacing them with a formulaic daily horoscope, they are simply catering to the lowest common denominator. I understand the desire to make the app more accessible, but to do so by getting rid of the depth is not the vibe. Really disappointed in these changes, and also the Chani app team’s response to the numerous critiques they’ve received— which is basically denial and silence. That is extremely disheartening, and makes me not want to continue my subscription.

Deeply Appreciative

Seems I’m in tune with the planets or they are directing my movements or mine theirs in ever increasing harmony, according to my horoscope and other readings found here, such as my birth chart and transits. I mean, I Knew this, that’s why I’m into astrology to begin with. I get it- the placement and position of the planets at my birth time, and thereafter at every point I’ll be alive, is pertinent to the joys and sorrows, challenges and triumphs, I’ll experience. But I’ve never been able to appreciate that so much as now. Ive never ever had the nuances of me so poignantly pointed out & certainly never had the transit points and the associated emotions/challenges pointed out as they happen (enable notifications). I’m pretty old school when it comes to most things (I’ll take the whole plant over the extract) but this is very cool. Maybe it’s this: It’s tech and it’s modern. But it embodies a timeless and ancient, and still very poignant and powerful wisdom, which enables me to see and appreciate the deepest parts of myself. Thank you Chani. the BEST astrology app out there

i NEVER write reviews but i felt the need to about this wonderful, wonderful app. the Chani app provides so much detail about your own personal chart (i.e. a detailed description of what each planet in your chart means based on the sign and house it’s in, and what positive and challenging aspects it makes to other planets) as well as dives in deep to what each week has in store based on the current planets in the sky. if you decide to subscribe to the app (which i HIGHLY recommend) it gives you access to your own personal weekly reading based on your rising sign, as well as a whole catalogue of guided meditations to listen to AND a new guided meditation each week, altar rituals, journal prompts. i feel like i’ve become way more knowledgeable about astrology in the past five months since i’ve had the app, and i’ve become more prepared for blessings and challenges i might face because i’m able to know about them before they happen!! this app is seriously incredible and i’m so thankful for Chani Nicholas and her team for creating it

Confused about rising sign change.

This app keeps getting even better. I am blown away by Chani’s generosity. I cannot imagine ever being without it. Update*******I still love this app, however in November, I inquired about why my rising sign changed. When I have done whole sign in other classes or when I have cast the chart myself, in whole sign, I am still a Scorpio rising. I received an immediate response and was asked to verify my birth information, take a snap of my internet speed test, what version of IOS I was using and my current location and time zone. I sent all the requested information and never heard back from anyone. I thought maybe someone else on here could help me understand. I just want to understand why, if it is true, that I am now a Libra rising. Is there an added system that CHANI uses? Or is there some technological glitch, which seemed to be the possibility when customer support asked for information like the speed test of my computer. Thank you anyone who is able to answer this for me. Peace.
