I like the app and try to use it to check in on the status of the plane more often before a flight. Problem is that I’m always logged out and have to find the login credentials. Two recommendations- automatic log out time is too short and the app needs FaceId or an easier login save credentials feature.
The app provides important information but can hang up once in a while. The other annoying thing is anytime I update the time is given as Zulu time is seems and not local. That needs to change and just use the clock on the phone itself. No one in Cirrus Support really had any idea why it does this. Arjun Gururaj.
Glitchy app. Seems to always be shutting down and requiring a log back in. Then won’t accept my information and kicks me out to 10-1013 error. Always on a weekend too with no support!
Pilots of aircraft equipped with Cirrus IQ can remotely access critical pre-flight status information using the app. Pre-flight Status Information Displayed includes: • Fuel Quantity – displays accurate, real-time right and left tank fuel quantity retrieved directly from the fuel tank sensors. Ensure that your fuel order has been fulfilled and that you have enough fuel to make your intended flight before you arrive at the airport. • Oxygen Quantity – displays accurate, real-time oxygen tank pressure. When planning for a flight above 12,500 ft, it’s critical to know if you have an adequate oxygen supply for the flight or know if you’ll need to add oxygen before departure. • TKS Ice Protection Fluid Quantity – displays accurate, real-time right and left tank TKS fluid quantity. Always know if you have enough TKS fluid when preparing to fly into known icing conditions. • Aircraft Battery Voltage – displays accurate, real-time aircraft battery voltage. • Oil Temperature – displays accurate, real-time oil temperature. If the oil temperature is less than 20° F, engine pre-heat may be necessary. • Current airport location of aircraft. • Aircraft Total and Flight Times – displays estimated total hours and flight hours, updated after each flight. Additional Features: • Manage Users allows aircraft owners to invite and manage additional users to view and refresh the pre-flight status of their aircraft. • Find Us allows you to locate Cirrus Campuses and authorized service and training partners near you, directly within the app. • Tech Publications lists and provides push notifications for technical publication updates that are applicable to aircraft in your hangar. • Maintenance Minder optionally tracks required aircraft maintenance and proactively alerts you via push notification before upcoming inspections are due. *Subject to approval by appropriate international telecommunication regulatory authorities.
