I have been with CCU over 20 plus years! I love this bank, the services and the people are what keep me there! They have always had an amazing customer service team! They’re always willing to go over and beyond! They’ve helped me with my loans from my vehicle to personal loans. They’ve offered suggestions that I would never had thought of.... I love that even during the early stages of COVID-19, they didn’t skip a beat! Their drive through was done with ease and letting us know that they were going the extra mile with keeping services going! I will be here till the very end... Love you all so much!
I love the app; it’s easy to navigate and the thumbprint access is super convenient. My biggest complaints surround the connected visa credit card that I have through CCU. First, when you make a transfer from an account to pay off the balance on the card, the app does not reflect that payment immediately. It can take up to several days. My old credit union would reflect the payment immediately which helped keep track of what your balance truly was. Secondly, you can’t view your transactions on your credit card through the app, but instead have to log into online banking. Another inconvenience that makes it harder to track your spending and balance on your credit card. Both issues were things that I did not encounter with my old credit card through my old credit union and their banking app. If those two issues were resolved, this would easily be a five star app.
I’ve been with CCU for a long time and they’ve helped with all my financial needs whether it be a small loan to establish credit to taking out a personal loan for personal needs and many more. They’ve been there for my financial needs since I joined them long ago. I highly recommend CCU to anyone that likes an institute that caters and make you feel like they’ve known you. 🏽
You change things all the time without notice to your customers. Randomly I was told on cashapp and Venmo that my debit card isn’t accepting instant transfers any longer because of the institute I have it through. I was given no notice at all and now I’m down to my last 20 bucks because you didn’t tell your customers you were getting rid of Instant cash transfers from 3rd party apps. It won’t let me transfer any money till Monday. That’s ridiculous and going to cause me to go hungry tonight. I’m always annoyed with this credit union over something. I’ll be refinancing my vehicle somewhere else soon and leaving your excuse for a bank.
Great banking app, now how about a feature for children?
I’d like to have an app that lets me set up chores for a kid and associate a payment for doing the chore. My family has accounts with CCU, if only there were a way to avoid using a third-party app for this. Plus, it’s a way to capture more business as children become adults.
Applied for a small loan with them after I had financed my new car through them. Very prompt on making the loan happen. Approved and funded on the same day and a Friday at that!!! They did amazing and can’t thank them enough for there service!!
The Columbia Credit Union app has simplified my life ! Depositing checks to my business account remotely is so much easier than it used to be. Checking balances and transferring funds between account at any time day or night and weekends! Thanks so much!
This site is so easy to use. I love that I can access everything no matter where I am or no matter what time of day. Love that I can name my accounts and write a description for transfers and can log in with a fingerprint
I like how fast and easy it is to pay bills, check my balances, transfer funds, etc.... yep... that’s about it.... there are messages and other stuff on there too but that’s what I use the most so.... there ya go.
When signing in the app wants to call my phone. For some reason the text option is not enabled. So,I selected call. The inbound call is from a number in Hungary (maybe Orban keeps tabs on this data) and I am prompted to press 1 to accept sign in or 3 to reject. Pressing 1 never works.
Ver little detail provided and you will need the website anyway. App used to work but lately it wants to do a one time call and after 3 attempts it just Says application error once call is done. Completely useless yet I can get right in with the website.
A little awkward in places but really good allover
Just moved here in April and switched from another financial institution's bill pay. The switch has been a little rough with knowing how to find things in this system so I'm not a smooth user yet. For example, haven't found the secret for setting up a monthly automatic payment. Also haven't quite gotten used to clicking several days ahead of delivery date to to ensure on time delivery of a payment. Other than that, it seems pretty quick and efficient and I'm getting to appreciate it's finer points.
