I downloaded the app the night going into the store, and couldn’t check in because the store was closed. Fair enough. I drive out early enough to get there by store opening, and it turns out that location doesn’t have app check in, only in-store. Tried another location and received the same message. So what is the point of this app then?
The application does not work because it is not connected to the store, I received a message from the application indicating that they would call me when it was my turn. I waited for two and a half hours in the store and they never called me, I asked when it would be my turn and all they did was apologize that they didn't have my name on the waiting list. Waste of time and bad service. They don't even deserve a star.
This app only shows 4 Crossroads stores throughout the country, and doesn’t show locations close to me. In stores, there are signs that say you can sign up to sell via this app. There is absolutely no place to do that. Not sure what the point of this app is at all. Seems like a shell of an idea that never came to fruition. Don’t waste your time or space downloading!
Very very poorly made app. Downloaded the app and wasn’t able to put myself on the waitlist to sell. Deleted the app and re-installed, was able to add myself. Now just reopened the app trying to add myself and there is no option for it. Deleted and downloaded multiple times but still not able to add myself.
Was able to sign up for the waitlist, however when I removed myself (because the list was too long and hadn’t made any progress) I was never able to add myself back the following day. Tried deleting and downloading the app again but there is still no way to sign up.
You can’t add yourself to the waitlist and when you call the store and tell them it doesn’t work they won’t help you over the phone. It was clearly launched before it actually worked.
It never works and if you are able to add yourself to the waitlist it removes you with no notification. The workers at the store make you sign in again and start over. It’s worthless.
I only downloaded this app to join the waitlist but it only lets me stare at it. i dont need an app for that. don’t download this stupid app the developers are incompetent and obviously don’t know what they’re doing.
The website claims this app lets you check in to sell but there is no way to do so in the app. Pointless app and bad development. Stores should not be promoting this.
This app is great if you wanna know where all of the the locations are, and how many ppl are waiting in line. But what good is all that if I can’t sign up for the waitlist???
Almost every store in the Bay Area won’t allow you to add to the list through the app. I’d be so embarrassed to have my name on this. Way to go Crossroads.
Hi, this app is garbage. You should clearly state it only works for East and west coast (and Texas apparently) meanwhile there are states not categorized as Midwest that also contain crossroads locations.
The app does give an up-to-date update regarding the number of waitlist spots but there is no way to add yourself to the waitlist remotely as promised by the app and employees.
Ok ok. Sold at CRs once before and it was easy, breezy, beautiful. Just walked on in. Thought I’d try it again and was scandalized by the long wait and queue of people in front of me. Asked the buyer about the best times to come in and she said “use the app!”. And I’m like “wow what a good idea! The app! I didn’t even know it existed! So I download this app. Hopeful, excited, eager. And the app doesn’t even let me queue. It just shows how many people are in front of me, which is almost important, but still kind of useless. I shrug. So it’s a bad app, right? I can work around that. And so I make a promise to myself that one day soon I will wake up early and head to CR to be the first one in the door at opening. That’s my promise. And I keep it. So here I am, 11 am on a Sunday, first one in the door, slightly more territorial of being the first one to the sellers table than I need to be. They ask if I sign in. I say no. I go to sign in, and what do I see? FIVE PEOPLE already ahead of me on the iPad. And I say, “oh, people are already signed in?” And the seller goes, “oh yeah, they used the app!”. So now this app is my nemesis. Because the entire process is reliant upon something that doesn’t even work for most people. What’s the point of an app if people can’t even use it and are then stuck at the back of the line? I was physically there before anyone else! And now I need to wait like 2 hours for people who aren’t even here yet. I’m seething. Crossroads, please free us from the confines of this god-awful app. Update: as I was writing this, I got called to go in. Which means they went past all the people with the app who weren’t here anyways. Which I think only proves how ridiculous this app is.
