The app has always been solid. No crashes or other issues. I was so excited to see the revamped app. But I have to say I am a bit disappointed. Once Face ID approves me, I still have to click Accounts, expand My Accounts and click on Checking/Savings to see my balances. Every other banking app I have used brings you directly to this information. It’s just too many steps for the most basic information.
The app works well, and if the security issues are fixed I'll change my rating, but first the app should allow Touch ID access, instead of always having to type password and security question. Also, when I leave the app open but switch to another app and then double click on the home button to see what apps are open the day air screen should blank out, that way my balances aren't shown on phone...please fix security issues asap...
I love the new sign-in features. The ability to use one touch to log into my account is AMAZING!! Especially since I forget my login-in information from time to time.
Very happy with this app. Super easy to maneuver, easy to access accounts, and what the app can’t do it will lead you to the right spot on their web page. Thanks!
App works well enough for basic things like transferring money and reporting stolen cards, but it doesn’t offer everything the website has. Would really be happy if they had the atm locator and travel settings on the app.
The only way to get the scrolling circle to ever advance to the actual screen needed is to NEVER use on WiFi. No reason it should take 2-5 min after the press of a button to get to where you want to go
I downloaded this app because it had remote deposit, which is great because it's 2014 and it's about time. Downloaded the app because you have to for remote deposit (can't use the mobile site), filled out the form to be reviewed for remote deposit, got an email 24 hours later with an approval. Signed in with my login info I've been using for like three years. Error: "Unable to login using the given the user name and password". OK. Let me reset the password. That usually works, right? Nope. Same error. So now, the correct user name and either password doesn't work. I tried both. So I did the next best thing and called Day-Air where I was informed that there's nothing they can do. She said to delete and re-download which I did. Same error. Found it in the App Store, hoping to find what developers were behind this app and NOPE. It's just Day-Air and this is the only app you guys have made, which suggests it's some 24 year-old dude who knows iOS development and doesn't understand proper error testing. And now, NOW, I get to make a 30 minute drive to a different credit union in Chicago that accepts deposits from other credit unions. Crack open that iOS book you have in your studio apartment and fix this very basic issue. Or you could stop developing apps all together; that would work too.
The "message center" displays no messages...such as an almost non-existent warning about the bill pay upgrade. Worse, if you try to use the chat feature with support, good luck...the keyboard constantly closes after you hit the space key, after every 2-3 letters, and after each number. So trying to write a short comment becomes a challenging task where you hit 2 letter, tap the box to open the keyboard...type three letters...tap the box...hit space....tap the box....and no, this is not an exaggeration. Please revamp this app.
The old app was awful and the update is just as bad. With all the technology we have you think they would use it. All of my mobile banking apps that I use have the capability to use Touch ID. Why can't this one be the same. I hate logging in on this app. Hopefully they add that soon.
Compared to other apps, the DayAir app feels very outdated. To make a loan payment I have to navigate outside of the app and use a mobile-UNfriendly login page to enter SEPARATE username and password. Such a hassle. Disappointing, since I wanted to really enjoy my first experience with a local banking institution. Not off to a good start. Please overhaul the app!
