Hi! We’ve been with DCCU for a while, our experience has been wonderful. In Augusta of this year, I went into the sugarloaf breach in Duluth ga to make a deposit. I deposit quit a abut I’d checks. I got a receipt, but after the deposit was posted to our account the amount was different thank the receipt. I called a few time to get an understanding of the difference. To make this short, I talked to three different people, I was told that I would be charged a twenty five dollar fee if the bank investigated this matter. A supervisor told me that I needed to go into the branch after all there were a lot of checks. That was true but why should I have to drive and hour away to clear this up. We’ve had unexpected death in our family, I’m a cancer patient. My strength and energy is not always good. I would love it if someone would at least look into it, I understand if the bank made a mistake are if I made a mistake. We are all human, so mistakes are possible. Thank you!!!

New update
This new update is terrible to be honest. There was nothing wrong with the user interface on the transactions screen. The new update make it extremely hard to view my transactions. The text is too bold and I can barely read the dates. Please go back to the old interface. Out of the 5 or so banks accounts I have DCCU is the best. But this update puts you at the bottom of the list. At this point I don’t even want to log into the app the to view my transactions because it’s a pain to read them. Please change this.

Add dates for transactions
I hate that I can’t see dates for the transactions or even more details. I have deposits pending for sometimes a week (which I wish they would just release but whatever) and there’s no way of me knowing when they will actually clear without calling. Even when I log into the system from my desktop, there’s no extra information. My account is currently overdrawn cause I saw a pending deposit last Friday but it still hasn’t cleared the following Wednesday. Had I known I would have made necessary arrangements to add cash into my account but now I’m out of unnecessary money since I was charged an overdraft fee. It also should be easier to do a chargeback on transactions, especially with so much scamming going on these days. It’s been awhile since I tried since last time I was told I’d have to print out a form and either mail it in or bring it into the bank which can be a lot.

No memo section on bill pay for certain payees
I am unable to designate a check to be paid towards principle only on my mortgage in the bill pay app. Certain payees do not show the memo ( gee I wonder why a bank would make it hard to pay my mortgage principle off faster) . Due to this issue I am forced to send paper checks through the mail to my mortgage bank. This would be so simple to correct but we all know why they won’t. Can not do it on the online bill pay either. If I use DCCU bill pay to pay more towards my mortgage principle , it ends up going towards the following month payment. When I had my money at another bank I did not have this issue with their bill pay service. My mortgage is the only payee I am forced to send a paper check through the mail .Looking into moving all of my money to another bank that does not have this issue.

Mobile Check Deposit is a pain
I started using the mobile check deposit heavily during the hard social times that we are now in due to the club members in DC passing good ole rules that we fellow non members have no choice to participate and follow. Anyway, when I attempt to make a deposit, the app apparently has a problem identifying the endorsement on the back of the check. There have been multiple times where I have taken the picture of the back of the check, I can clearly see my signature on the scan just to have the app tell me that it’s not found and I have to retake the picture. Which ends up taking three or four times before I give up and just put it off for the next day. Other than that the other features of the app work fine. At least for now until big brother reads this review then begins the shenanigans of completely making the app useless for me.

Please update
There have been several Apple updates lately, however, the Delta community app has not been updated for 11 months according to the App Store. In order for me to rotate my camera to take an image I have to navigate away from the app after I have opened the take a picture feature, then go back in and take the image. I own a business and deposit several checks at a time. Therefore, if I have 5 checks to deposit, I have to do the same exact thing 5 times, 10 checks 10 times, 20 checks 20 times. Please update the app to make this bug go away. It was not an issue until iOS 16. Otherwise the app is 5 stars.

App has issues
Rarely use the app but on 2 of the past 4 months I’ve gotten error messages telling me to “try again later” when I’m trying to make a payment/transfer from my checking to my auto loan. There are plenty of funds in my checking acct. This inconvenience requires me to set a reminder task on my calendar to go try it again another day and hope the app works then. Of course, if I forget, my payment could be late so it’s annoying this has to be so difficult. Please fix your app!

Easy to help you budget
One way I benefit from the app is I open savings accounts from the app in minutes. I set up savings accounts to budget for monthly bills like my mortgage. Every pay check I transfer money to that savings account then when mortgage is due it’s already there and I can just transfer from the savings to pay it. With an allotted 6 transfers a month from a savings account and a minimum balance requirement of only $5, I use this technique for budgeting other things too like holidays and vacations.

My own little teller
This is the best banking app I have ever used.I have the flexibility to do my banking on the go. I check my balance before making a purchase. It tells me when my funds are low. I absolutely love it. I also want to say that I wish that you would work on your ATM machines. when making transactions, I am constantly looking around and give someone an opportunity to run up on you. I think you should look into that.

Beautiful & a Breeze to Navigate
I have been apart of DCCU for about 20 years and have seen so much development from the digital side. The app is a breeze to navigate, both from my laptop (Chrome and Safari, shocking…I know regarding Safari) browsers as well as from my iPhones over the years. Thankful for a beautiful site that is very easy to transfer money, pay bills, cash out in my reward points, and more. Thank you DCCU.

Pending status
I love the credit union the only thing that I dislike is once the money has been taken out of my account there always a pending payment instead of them just taken the money righ then and there. This make me go into a whole because I’m thinking that it’s taken out but then my account t goes into a negative stance please fix this

Love me Delta CU
Been with Delta Credit Union since I was 18 years old, 27 years! Thanks to a mother who worked for Delta Airlines, she initially had me sign up for a savings and it snowballed from their. I’ve tried Washington Mutual and BOFA at some points in my life due to employers recommendations, but never left DELTA CU. They don’t compare! If you are looking for a financial institution, Delta CU is for you and you will not be disappointed. Even the app rocks! Love it!

Bill pay bug
I haven’t been able to do bill pay from the app for months. It was working fine and then an update went out and I can no longer select an account to pay the bill from, thus the whole thing doesn’t submit (even though there’s only one option for which account to pay from). Thought surely it’d get fixed immediately. Have been having to log into the desktop site in order to pay any bills. Inconvenient. When it happened I looked for a place in the app to send feedback. Didn’t find any.

Great business
This institution has been invaluable to me over the years. It has helped me with problems that I’ve had and also protected me from scammers. The ease of the mobile deposits are very much appreciated and the ability to do share branch banking is great. The only downside I would say is they need a branch in NYC

Piece of crap bank!!
This credit union / bank is crap!! They are so quick to take your deposits, but when it comes time to use your money, they give you the run-around!! They put block on transfers and hold your money for illegitimate reasons. Their employees are idiots, and that’s putting it politely. They can’t explain why things are being done and can’t resolve issues. What good is it to have a bank when you can’t access YOUR money??? I finally was able to take all of my cash out and got rid of these losers. If they have insolvency issues, I am not getting the short end of the stick.

App has screwed me for the last time
Idk what their development team is doing, but it’s definitely not making an app that works. I got used to never being able to check my balance after midnight due to system maintenance, but today was the last straw. I use card lock, and was completely unable to access card management to turn it off today. It tells me I have no active cards.. Inaccessible funds are not something that anyone looks for in a bank… Bye-bye Delta community credit Union, wish I could say it was nice knowing you.

It’s Cool
I love this app. Very convenient and easy to maneuver around in. The only thing I don’t like is at times it takes a while to show a current and accurate balance after making a deposit. This is on cash deposits as well even after refreshing the app. Other than that, I would have given it a five. Still satisfied overall. I mean it is technically.

Why Delta?
I’ve had this happen multiple times and recently just happened again. Trying to transfer money from one account to another and the app and website “Application error, unable complete transaction at this time try again later” This is beyond frustrating if I need something done quickly . I’m screwed. I have to either keep trying or wait until the bank opens and call and have them manually transfer it. Terrible app. Convenient it is definitely is not.

Very easy and very helpful
I haven’t been able to open an account with ANY bank for the last 7 years bro …. Delta made it soooo easy for me to open up bro it was a piece of cake … my card was made in 4 mins or less …. I have Zelle and everything…. If you need a account, take it from me , go to DELTA ! Fashoo!!

Getting worse
Rating the app and the entire DCCU online experience, keeps getting worse. The app has never had A2A functionality (transferring money to an external account). The actual website used to have A2A functionality thru a clunky interface that seemed like it was often not working outside of Atlanta business hours. Now even that A2A functionality appears to be gone from the website. Why is it getting worse? Why is it so far from the seamless experience at Ally Bank, for example?

I love Delta! Unfortunately I don’t love the Delta Credit Union or this app. It is not very reliable and neither is their ATM system. Maybe it’s just my luck. I don’t get money out of the ATM very often and it’s not uncommon for the machine to be down. As I write this review I can’t even log into my account from my computer or phone. During the Covid 19 lock down their wait times in the drive thru lines were horrible. It was taking them over 20 minutes for simple transactions at their branch in Fayetteville. I’m not impressed.

Push Notifications no longer work
In the last month or so, push notifications no longer work. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the app. I talked to Customer Service at the bank all to no avail. Finally, I checked the App on settings, and notifications is completely missing from the settings option. Why would DCCU remove this important feature to push notifications without informing us?

Great To Access my Account around the Workd
I enjoy being a Delta Community Member. I have access to my Banking services 24/7 no matter where I am in the world. I am able to check my statements OnLine after each transaction I make rather at home or abroad. This gives me great peace of mind.

Delta Retiree Not Very Happy
I have been with DCCU since 1986. It just seems like things are not the same since you left Delta. I keep up with my credit scores and had applied for a car loan because you had in the past, always had the best rate. This last time you were 2% higher than CARMAX!!! Really???? Needless to say I went with CARMAX. If they were a bank I would have all my money there now. The real kicker was....I had more money in my money market account than what I was asking for my car loan.

For gods sake this is delta credit union. The app lags, or always has some problem. I bank with other banks as well and this by far is hands down the worse banking app. Lags, doesn’t work half the time, can’t see things. Being 2022 you would think it would be fixed but no it’s not. Is down all the time so won’t be able to transfer money or vice Vera’s. Always application error trying to schedule visit or apply for loan. Yeah all around horrible app delta should be embarrassed.

Delta is the best bank ever
I’ve had Delta now for 9 years. They’re the best banking institution I’ve ever had and will ever have. I’ve used them for credit cards, auto loans, and will go through them for the mortgage. Earning interest on all of your accounts, no maintenance fees, and they’re very forgiving when you have emergencies. Go Delta!

Solid app, Never had any real problems
This app serves me well as I’ve never really had something to complain about. Transfers are easy and fast and I like the FaceID/FingerPrint Scan to access. However, sometimes it’s a little wonky trying to scan checks and I wish there was a notification or something for when a check doesn’t go through

Could be better
When taking pic of backside of check, it always says image is wrong. I think the problem is that the lines for signature and date if done as displayed, it cuts off endorsement. The alignment is off from what pic takes, where graphic says to put check, and what registers.

User friendly
I like the app! It is easy to navigate and understandable. However, I am trying to link Zelle for my part time job. Whenever I open the Zelle app it tells me that Zelle is automatically included in the Delta Community account. Has anyone else had this issue with an employer being unable to navigate a banking app?

Love Delta Community Credit Union
I love Banking with Delta Community Credit Union. I have moved all of our banking from Truist over to DCCU and not looking back! The app is very user friendly and I use it for Bill Pay, Zelle payments and mobile check deposits. I highly recommend!

New Update Prevents Bill Pay
I have always loved using the Bill Pay feature on my app but I just downloaded the new update and now when I go to pay a bill it is not working properly. I can put the Amount of the bill in, as well as the Date, but when I try to use the From button to designate what account it is to be paid from it won’t let me choose anything and therefore will not complete the transaction. Please fix!

Mobile Deposit Is Terrible
Every month same problem. It takes 15 mins to deposit 2 check. Get messages such as part of check is missing or when finally taking the pix of the back of the check that it does not match size of front of check. I deposit into a business account and another personal account at two other banking institutions and never have a problem. Only have problems with Delta.

App needs updates
I love Delta Credit union and the ease of banking with them but this app needs a facelift. With Wells Fargo and Chase, I’m able to transfer money with Zelle so easily between banks. With Delta, they make it so difficult because I’m not able to use Zelle, the P2P transfer option is only available on the Desktop website, and it takes 2-3 days. VyStar Credit Union offers Zelle, so no it isn’t just exclusive to FDIC institutions.

This app is like my digital wallet. I use it daily 20 times a day it’s always accurate and on point. Not only does it help me with my banking but it help me balance my daily life with its money management program. I recommend this to any one🙌🏽🖤

Mobile check deposit has quit working
When I try to deposit a check using my phone, the app gives me a message that says “rotate your device to deposit your check,” but then won’t focus the camera to take a photo of my check.

Delta Experience
We have paint with Delta for many years and are very happy. When we go to the branch, any branch, the people are always pleasant and help us accomplish things needed. I would love if they offered currency exchange, like some of the larger banks do, but other than that we are very happy at Delta.

Online banking has been so easy and convenient! I always have access to my accounts and I’m aware of anything that goes on without having to go or go into my branch. Online banking works great for my family even transferring is easy!! Thanks DCCU for great service!

Update: Another good update. Any plans to add dark mode support? Great update and love that the iPad and iPhone app have the same look and feel now.. Would like to see being able to transfer to other accounts that aren't yours or ones that you are joint on. Also, being able to log into multiple accounts that you may be joint on. Thanks!

Photo feature for check deposit frustrating
I sometimes use the mobile check deposit feature. It doesn’t work consistently. It will often crop a photo so that account numbers and signatures have been cropped out of the frame, even though they were clearly visible when the photo was taken, AND you’re using a tripod. You can spend 20 minutes taking the same photo, and when it works, it’s completely arbitrary. Wish they would fix this.

Finally zelle!!
I have been with Delta since 2005! My biggest challenge has been that it’s a nightmare transferring money back to other banks. I love them but just feature alone made me open a chase account. And today, I saw “send money with zelle!!!!!” So happy! Thank you all so much!

Love the app, shows the correct amount available, how many transfers have been used... from time to time though I'll pay a bill that want show pending let alone posted... I understand the ways of banking and holding yourself accountable for your spending. Just keep a balance book! Lol

Please bring back date separation!
I’ve been a DCCU member for over 30 years, and I love this credit union. I also use this app multiple times each day. I just updated the app today, and I have to say that I’m not loving the new checking layout. The new date placement just fades into the background. PLEASE bring back the date separators!

So far I am not a fan. I’m still learning it. I am also trying to figure out the Zelle feature is. I tried to sign up on the Zelle app and it states that my bank already uses Zelle. However, I can’t find it in the app.

Never any issues at all. Easy and quick to view balances, info ab charges and transfers. Convenient to get all info I need and not have to search a website.

Accessibility
Hello, I’ve been banking with Delta for 10+ years and I love the bank. I love the fact that it has an app that most people can use. I am legally blind, and use voiceover on an iPhone. The app has mostly always worked except for the main menu but ever since iOS 16 came out voiceover will not read any of my transactions.
