Today I came to the store for an online return, I was assisted by Cesar in ladies shoes, excellent service along with the shoe department manager Naomi. After that I moved on to cosmetics, accessories and the mens department. Raquel, Karla , Paola and another young and very tall guy, who was very well presented on a black suit helped me on the mens sales floor, as always is good to visit the store and see all those familiar and new faces willing to go above and beyond to help. Thank you!!!
I don’t care for this app. It lacks basic features like is an item available at a store near you. Maybe if you want to try it on or do store pick up , you cannot see what your local store has in stock. JcPenny and Walmart have this feature, as most retail apps do. The “wishlist” feature is awful. If you want to mark some favorites to come back to while shopping you must creat a wishlist but it takes you to another site and even tho you are logged into the app you must log in again to make, view or add something to a wishlist. I haven’t bought anything from this app mainly due to the lack of features I described above.
I had the most wonderful undergarment shopping experience at the Dillard’s at North Point. I was not expecting to receive the most warming greeting from this wonderful sales representative. Erin was also knowledgeable about your products and I feel comfortable and confident in making my purchases. This Dillard’s is the store for me!
Most of the features of this app work fine and make a good experience while using the app. However, there are some issues with overlying icons and tabs when you use this app on an iPad. I don't have this issue on my phone but when using it in the iPad everything overlaps each other making it hard to push buttons and tabs and navigation is a nightmare please look into this.
I love shopping at Dillard’s but the app needs some improvement. It’s not very smooth and user friendly. Going back to what I was previously viewing doesn’t work. I end up jumping to other shopping apps. The Home page is just the same picture of the same woman, and does nothing. I suggest the app creators look at other apps, even Target, and see how they’re more user friendly, and redo this app to make us want to stay on it more.
I have the highest respect for Dillard’s!!! This specialty store actually has the highest quality of products in every department and their sales are better than most stores. The customer service is impeccable and associates go above and beyond for my shopping needs. Thank you Dillards.
I used to love Dillards I used the card diligently in order to support them. Then you couldn’t find what you owed Then you had two separate accounts with separate passwords. I downloaded app. Terrible . I finally was told I didn’t spend enough. Now the store has no dresses only returns from online. Who is charge of this mess! Online is cheaper but they send packages thru USPS. Worst ever. How can a package take So Long and have no tracking. How can you stay in business with this kind of customer service? I’ve shopped Dillards for decades It’s Sad
It seems strange to me that while in the app, where I tap the shop icon, Dillards full web site opens in Chrome on my iPhone instead of keeping me within the app to browse and shop. MostDepartment store apps that I have on my phone such as Macy’s, Nordstrom’s and Bloomingdale’s browse within the app and do not go outside the app to the company’s full website. Therefore, I’m not sure how secure the app is.
As a shopping app, it’s essentially nothing more than a link to their mobile-optimized website. That works for some retailers, but the website is only slightly less terrible. Merchandise is badly organized, no inventory information for individual stores, and there are very few available criteria for finding what you need. Dillard’s, you must really want us coming to the physical stores, because I never want to shop on this app again.
So glad I can keep up with my rewards in the app! The purchase history is nice to have too! No more keeping up with all those paper rewards & receipts!
Using the shopping feature in the app “done” does not indicate done viewing the item, but that is the natural indication. When you click done and realize the mistake you’ve made and click back on shop it starts all over and you lose you place. It’s so frustrating I have abandoned shopping many times
This “app” is basically worthless. If you want to look at things the app takes you to their website! I don’t need an app to do that. Everything is messed up on the app, words on top of other words or pictures. It’s like everything is thrown on a page and it lands wherever, just a jumbled mess. I hate saying all that because I love Dillard’s and I don’t usually do reviews, but this app is so bad I had to say something.
Hello, I would rather pay my bill through the app, then go in in person and pay it there. It worked the first time, but ever since I cannot get the page to make a payment to load. Please fix per customer convenience. Thank you.
I got a brand new phone. The app won’t allow me to register my card. The indicated fields to fill out the card information still have red asterisks. You can’t back space or retry putting the information in unless closing the app and trying again. It still doesn’t work. Can’t make payments or use the card for the digital wallet either. Also, can’t shop online or make/recover account.
I got this app thinking you could shop from it. Well it turns out you can’t. It directs you to the website online. What’s the point of that when I could have just logged in online in the first place? The only good thing is that you can store your card in the app. And use it to pay in store just in case you forgot your card.
The App can not tell you if you can pick up in store today. Why would I pick up in store if I had to wait days??? I would just have it shipped. Pick up in store is convenient for items needed immediately but don’t have time to wander around malls for. I know the technology exists because Nordstrom can tell me immediately if I can pick items up today. Fix the system to complete Dillards!
Dillard’s has so much potential but will not give customers a quality phone app. Wake up Dillard’s and download your competitors apps to see what you’re missing. The retail sector is flooded w businesses who flock to their customers and give back with loyalty rewards etc. We want an updated trendy phone app that’s as colorful and exciting as the lives of your customers.
Dillard’s app is absolute junk in comparison to other department stores. You basically attempt to sign into the app- where it tells you that your email address is invalid- then when you continue as guests it takes you to the web address. Like I said- Junk. It’s okay- Nordstrom has a pretty great and convenient app and I prefer to shop with them anyways. But it would be nice to browse Dillard’s on occasion- just for fun.
I was so excited to set up the app. I read the reviews that said it was so easy to use. I can’t get past the set pin section. It’s stuck. There’s no button to press or enter or back or forward arrow. I called customer service for help. I waited for 10 minutes then was hung up on after asking for help. I was at the store. The clerk wasn’t able to help either. Oh well, so much for that.
I have read other reviews and I must agree that one should not need more than one passcode when shopping and or paying the bill. Also, the app does not open completely. I love Dillard’s but the online app not so much. I end up calling the credit card company and pay what I owe that way.
I’m so excited that my favorite department store has an app! I no longer have to keep up with paper coupons…they’re right on my phone! I love love love the new app!
Please Dillard’s pay your developers to make this app smooth as Macys app. I like shopping Dillard’s but at times I get frustrated with the app I just close it and go to the macys apps. Please improve the shopping cart part. No need for me to open the browser to start shopping items .. smh
For being a major department store, you’d think that they would have an app that actually allows you to shop within it. It feels like this is something built ten years ago, needs work to keep up with other stores that have an easy shopping experience on an app.

Great app! However the app doesn’t save the email/password and neither does the face recognition work which is why I gave 4 star rating. I hope this is rectified soon.
I cannot pay my Dillard’s credit card bill from the app or from a browser on my iPhone 12. They both have the error message: Safari can’t open the page because the network connection was lost.
When trying to browse Dillard’s merchandise you are instantly redirected to Dillard’s website. If I wanted to shop on Dillard’s website I would use my computer. This app is quite pointless. Please allow app users to browse Dillard’s merchandise within the app like every other shopping app.
I had the app on my phone some time ago and it worked sporadically. I got fed up and deleted it. I downloaded and tried to get it set up again. Half the time it says currently not working. Deleted it again. It’s not worth the trouble. Macy’s app runs circles around Dillard’s.
The app takes you to a website (not within the app). And logo of Dillards within the emails you receive from the app are a little blurry. But I received my item.
Don’t be fooled with the $10 award when you download the app. It can ONLY be used at a store and NOT for online purchases. It does mention this in very small letters at the bottom of the email I received notifying me the app was available. I was very disappointed.
Waste of time, just use the regular internet site. I’ve had to redo my password 3 times now and it still says it’s wrong and can’t add my card. Takes you through your browser anyways.
It is so hard to pay bills on this app there shouldn’t be so many different thing to sign into everything should be all in one place it shouldn’t be such a hassle to pay a bill
This app used to work great but now it never works! Constantly says “We are experiencing difficulties”. I loved having the card available to use in store but it’s not useful anymore.
This app is nothing more than a webpage shortcut. My browser(s) already have this function. This day in time, kids leave elementary school able to write apps. Do better.
I’ve tried several times with several different emails being sent by Dillards to verify my email but it’s not working. Please fix this glitch, I’d like to use the app.
