Pretty annoying sometimes

The UI and security of this app are honestly great. On the surface it seems like most of what you would want with a crypto wallet on your phone. My biggest issue is that transactions either take a super crazy long time or just don’t work. I had one that went through after a few days but every other one I’ve sent since will just sit there for over a week and I have to cancel and redo it (this last one 12 days). Not the end of the world cause this app is good for long term hodling. But it’s still very annoying and jank.

They will steal your funds.

Multiple times I’ve had funds go missing, responding to emails? The 3 guys that run this take over a month to reply to emails for help. I’ve had missing btc since February and it’s August now. Looked up the 3 people on linked in and ya They all have links to the shady company’s. Do not hold anything in your wallet with this company your funds will disappear and they act like it’s your fault when you won’t even have a transaction out history. Again absolutely do not use this app you will lose your money first 100 poof gone sent $10 more poof never even arrived nor refunded to my coinbase. In the end I’m out $110 not much but was enough to see this app is not to be trusted with any funds. (Side note they will get your sell request and sit on it till a crash and then send you the lowest amount they could of that day. But it doesn’t even matter because when u try to send the funds away they won’t ever make it to the destination wallet.

Sad

It’s Quite sad that I can’t log in to my account despite inserting correct details and even email. The developer of the site really needs to look into the problems associated with logging in. I’m still sad cause I am yet to log in to my account. Actually some days back I said something bad about the app esp towards login in and all. I later took my time to read and experiment and learnt more about the app. The app is very efficient and nice . I’m sorry for giving a wrong remark. D only problem with using the free wallet app is sending to other wallets . When you send to wallets other than free wallet, the free wallet takes half of what you send. It’s too much . The app should work on reducing the transactions fee. Is way too much and discouraging.

Nice and simple for small transactions

I did a lot of reading on this app. It has a bad reputation but if you look at almost any negative feedback, the developer responds and tries to fix whatever issue the reviewer had. It is because of this that I decided to look past the negative reviews and give it a shot. I treat this app like cash in my real wallet. Put small amounts of coin in here that you intend to spend. Sending coin to others is quite easy and convenient. That is the benefit of this app in my humble opinion.

Great app, just one suggestion

I love this app, it is very simple and easy to use while still looking good. I do have one suggestion though. I would like a feature where you can see the percentage dogecoin went up or down since the last time the app was open, since I don’t normally remember what it was at five hours ago when I last checked, so this would help me understand that better. I have not seen this feature in any crypto wallet, so I’m still giving this one five stars!

Not fair

Don’t do system updates as soon as dogecoin starts a potential bull run. I put in multiple transactions for the last 2 days, none of them go thru. Dogecoin rose from 20 to 30 to 40c and this whole time I haven’t been able to buy more. This is why I hate the world, they manipulate paper currency and you try to do it with doge. That’s ok tho, I got something big planned for everyone 😈♉️

Thieves

They require identification verification like all crypto exchanges except they haven't verified mine for OVER A YEAR despite having all of the necessary documents. On top of this, they tell me I need to withdraw funds because they can't "provide services" and then they REFUSE WITHDRAWALS. This is an out and out scam. Never trust Freewallet with a dime! Update: now they have demanded I get the transaction data from an exchange that is NO LONGER OPERATING. That's right, these total criminals are trying to find ANY excuse to steal the funds! Update: now they are trying to say the bank statement I sent them was "edited" despite it being directly downloaded from the bank. This complete and utter scam keeps getting more ridiculous!

User-Friendly and Reliable

The Freewallet Doge wallet is incredibly easy to use, even for beginners in the crypto space. The interface is clean and intuitive, making transactions a breeze. I appreciate the built-in exchange feature that allows quick swaps between different cryptocurrencies. However, the transaction fees can be a bit higher compared to other wallets. Overall, it’s a solid choice for Dogecoin enthusiasts.

Choose your own security

This is what other wallets should try to emulate. It’s so easy to use. It may have started with bugs but they’ve been fixed and it took me two minutes to download and send coins to my wallet. Then, you can choose your own security. 2FA from Google, pins, and a password combined with Touch ID. You can customize your security options. Again, I downloaded it not ten minutes ago and I figured this out. Easy as pie.

sending to new address.

has anyone else tried to send their coins to a new address and the app like just won’t let you proceed with doing so? i feel like i won’t be able to touch this money again or move it anywhere else. kind of suspect. UPDATE: DOGECOIN was moved to a new address in 3 minutes. app was under an update when i first tried to move coins.

Terrible experience, bitcoin disappeared

I was hoping not to have to give this app a bad rating but what happened today was too much.. set up the wallet, went to buy Dogecoin using bitcoin, set up the transaction, waited and watched it complete, saw the bitcoin disappear from my coinbase to the address provided by the app. 9 hours later I still have not received my Dogecoin and the app doesn’t even show I ever made a transaction even though I have the receipt of sent funds from my coinbase account. Contacted support and after one reply I haven’t heard back since. This was the worst experience I’ve had with any crypto wallet I’ve used yet.

Setting up and using it was simple

When I tried using Freewallet, I was happy to find that it was actually really easy to set up and use. The design is simple and the instructions are clear, which made it easy for me to get started. Now, I feel like I know what I'm doing and I can manage my coins without any issues.

Right app for DOGE

When will the withdrawal feature be accessible? It would be great to be able to withdraw money right into a bank account or credit card. However, there are still several exchanges where you may quickly withdraw money and receive your money back.

Cannot deposit.

I used to love this app, but now I’m having major issues. I found out about a better app to put dogecoin into and wanted to transfer my dogecoin from my old trading app to this wallet, to move it to the new app. However, now any time I try to deposit dogecoin into my new account from this app, when I put in the wallet address, it says “Send coins to” with nothing after it. I am very upset because Dogecoin is continuing to rise and all I can do is stare at the coins in my wallet, unmoving.

Wonderful

DOGE is a wonderful coin with a great community. Despite the decline in the value of all coins, I feel the need to save DOGE for the future and will continue to use this wallet because I have so far loved using it. Because these folks don't require a minimum deposit, I have a lengthy historical list of the incoming transactions.

Reliable and easy to use

If you need a good wallet for DOGE, I suggest using Freewallet. It's really reliable and I've never had any problems with it. It's also really easy to use, and the fees for making trades are really low. This means you won't have to worry about getting charged a lot for using it.

SCAM

Do not use this people. They will let you deposit and then lock your account. I have over 100k worth of dodgecoin of a 50 dollar investment from 5 years ago and they are not letting me access it. I contacted that Lauren email, they made a ticket and then replied with some nonsense. I told them that didn’t work and the response after was that they are closing all complain tickets. Did not even help me resolve the issue. I would love to know who is the owner of this company. My man set up the perfect scam for people. Apple store report this app.

This app has one job, and it doesn’t do it

I downloaded this app yesterday. I have never bought cryptocurrency and I decided I wanted to buy dogecoin. The app seems extremely buggy. Lots of links don’t work right away. Had to try three times for email verification before it worked. I jumped through all the hoops, I set up a passcode, I uploaded a picture of my drivers license, etc., and I still cannot figure out how to actually buy doge using this app. Sent an inquiry to support, no response. What a waste of time.

Simple for a beginner

For those who don't want to download the full blockchain to their hard drives, this is a fantastic alternative. With Freewallet, these problems are gone, and I can stop stressing about running out of computer space. This is simple enough for a beginner!

Never worked

I am very uncomfortable that they requested a picture of me and my id to sign up but no matter how many times I tried to verify my email do that I could use the app I could never get a link. I not only can not use this app to invest i am now worried that my info has been given to a scammer. I have down loaded the app twice a few weeks apart, thinking i did something wrong but again, they don’t actually send a link or have any way for me to buy or sell crypto currency’s.

Is this even an active app anymore?

I downloaded the app for the first time and tried signing up with an email but that immediately gives an error. I tried logging in with my Apple account but that also gives an error, and same goes with Facebook and Google so from what I can tell this is an app that you can’t create an account on. I’m not sure how long this is been going on but it’s clear to me that if it’s not fixed soon it’s an app that shouldn’t exist on Apple‘s market.

Support is awesome

I switched phones about a year ago. I haven’t logged into Dogecoin Wallet. I tried to log in but I was getting weird authentication errors. I contacted support through email and explained my situation. Within one hour I was able to get back into the app. Extremely nice and quick support.

Can’t create and account.

So I have been trying since yesterday keep getting the same error try again message. And I posted a review yesterday and guess what that was deleted. I understand there is a lot of crypto interest but 24+ hours of trying to make an account and zero progress and then you delete my review doesn’t look good. And now I’ve had time to look at other reviews of current users and it is making me question if I even want this app at all.

Waste of time!!!!

I literally tried to create an account linking my google but got error msg could not process, so I tried using my Facebook instead and linking that way but received a msg that I was LOCKED out for entering a pin too many times?!?!? I literally only clicked on the Facebook link icon ONCE and on the first click I got the locked message! I never entered a pin?? The fact that the app is this buggy is all i needed to see! If i can’t trust the app to complete a simple login task there’s no way am I importing my personal or financial information there! BYE!!!!!

It'll be hard to find something better

Finding a better wallet than this will be hard. It is easy to use, there are practically no errors in its operation, it has effective measures for protection, and it is pleasant and simple to use.

Simplicity at Its best

I use this wallet for a while, and it's honestly the easiest one to use. The design is so simple and it's easy to move my coins in and out of the wallet. Their customer support is great. I had a problem with a transaction and they fixed it fast.

Was Worried!

I bought with litecoin and was concerned it was going to take 3 days! Bought some with BTC less than an a hour ago & got a notification on my phone my Dogecoins came through. Thanks for the service and I'm going to be up all night studying about the mining app now and more about the company (:

Wonderful

I love this app, it was so hard to find a reliable and responsive wallet for DogeCoin. I’ve begun a ton of DogeCoin research and investment in the last couple of months and to have an app for your Wallet that not only can transfer your BTC to Doge but also make transfers with 4-6 confirmations in under 10 minutes I love it

Scam! Buyer beware!!!

The app will allow you to buy Doge but not sell or send to another wallet! The Smart Pay Out leads to a blank screen so you can’t ever complete the transaction. You can’t even login to their Freewallet app as many other reviewers have mentioned. I’ll be reporting it to the App Store UPDATE: 4/19 I was able to make a small transfer to a different wallet on Sunday, but now it’s down again and I can’t transfer the majority of my Dogecoin!!! Extremely frustrating and deeply concerning!!!

My first steps with freewallet

Even though I'm new to cryptocurrency, I found it easy to start with the freewallet. They have a really easy to use interface and guides that were very helpful. It made everything seem less scary.

App is not letting me log In

I have created this account and transferred all my dogecoin here on May 2019. Now I am trying to log in it would not let me log in or reset my password. It keeps saying error. I hope my coins are not lost .

Great app for crypto-currency. Just has it’s issues.

Amazing free wallet app, recommend this to other people who are interested in doing crypto currency exchanges. The only problem I have is bugs. I constantly get signed out from time to time. If this issue got fixed, would be great.

My transaction is stuck in progress

I decided to try and cash out on all of my dogecoin today. I sent it to the correct address and copied everything correctly but it still says the transaction is in progress. I’ve basically just have a bunch of coins stuck in the middle because this app doesn’t work. If anyone is willing to help me with this it’d be appreciated, as the customer service site for this app is ugly and has no direct way to show me how to fix this. Thanks

Great for Starters! (Kids)

I love this! I’m 16 and just started crypto, I think this is a great starting game, it helps you start to look at how stock prices go up and down and kicks you off to start making big budgets in crypto. It’s great to start off at 20 dollars, well at least I think so

Great piece of software

Underrated app works great

Idk why people are talking down on this company it makes it easier to transfer my crypto to a secure wallet and won’t get charged if I transfer my crypto to another wallet ran by this same company. I do wish your guys had XRP or TRX.

The app itself knows I have an account. It just won't log me in even with 2FA codes I get from my google account. It is as if I was locked out of my own account. I tried reaching out to customer support, but no help, just typical go follow these steps and you are on your own. Since I can't log in and this company has my keys all my coins are might as well theirs. I contacted customer support. They are not that helpful. I still have not received additional help I requested. Their customer support is not helpful in the least. They will just circle around. I already gave up on these scammers and thieves. Choose a different wallet. Do not use this wallet. They will take your coins from you if they can get away with it. Like they did to me.
