It would be helpful to be able to expand the pictures of products on the app - both from the company’s description and the pictures from reviews. It is hard to see what is being described when they are so little and can’t be expanded Please fix this so we can really see what we’re looking at.
When I first found out that dollar tree had an app I was very happy since I always ever used the website. The only problem for me is that the app when I press a category and then I want to press another one it glitches and doesn’t load. And one suggestion for the app would be for it to have if the product is in stock at the location. Other than that, the app is great!
It's nice to finally have an official app. I use this all the time to help my customers. I work at my local Dollar Tree. I tell them all the time to make sure you download the new Dollar Tree app! It's really nice to look at and clean and easy to use. The Price Scanner feature is really nice. That's something I tell my customers about as well.
It’s good that this app is made, I won’t have to go on the safari website, however it doesn’t say if an item is available at a store or not like the safari website does. And I can’t zoom in the pictures of an item I’m looking at either. Having these features make the app better.
To the user who wants the app to show if an item is in stock. Please do not request that. It’s hard enough to stock a store let alone having customers walk up to an employee and complain because the app says they have it when the actually don’t. That’s now how inventory works at DT stores.
I rarely right reviews but I’ve been waiting for this app to launch! It’s clean looking, user friendly and … It’s the actual dollar tree app! I just downloaded it from their website to be sure I was getting the right one! So far so great with it and I can’t wait to see what it’s like to order!
I downloaded this app and then took it right back off after checking out all its “features” You can not purchase anything from the app. You only have the ability to “favorites” 30 items before being asked to delete something from your list to add new ones. With NO other options to make another list. And the pictures of items are too small or lack the ability to zoom in. Just a complete waste of potential.
I tried making an account and I would get the welcoming texts confirming my account existed but I could never sign in. It would always say “Something went wrong please try again later “ I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app but still the same thing. And when I went to try and reset my password it would say account does not exist. Yes it does or otherwise why would I have gotten those welcome texts? App needs some fixing please or an easier way to create an account .
Please add a feature if it is in stock at my chosen location. As well as the ability to expand my favorites list. There’s also a small glitch when clicking between different categories. Love dollar tree, but this app has room for improvements.
As I’m happily adding products to my favorites (my shopping list), I get this warning: “My Favorites List is Full Remove older products in order to add more to My Favorites.” I have never gotten that warning on any other retail store’s app. It’s foolish to cap customers on how many items they can keep on their shopping list - especially a dollar store capping at 30 items.
Glad to see you have an app! Would it be possible to be able to see if a particular item is in stock at a selected store? I may have missed it, but I didn’t see that feature. Thanks so much. : )
App won’t let me favourite all the stuff I want to try. Frustrating. When I click the categories it says showing all zero products. That’s not accurate at all I have to re load the app each time I want to look at another category. Why can’t I click on the pictures?
Zero stars. Dollar Tree can’t seem to figure out how to make a functional app. The last one sucked, tried again after their equally horrible website said “new app” .. and what a disappointment. It crashed, froze, stopped loading, and had to be closed out 2x all within 5 mins while simply browsing the products. Find a new developer already for the love of God.
You can’t buy anything from the app, all you can do is look. It doesn’t show if your store has it in stock. You have the ability to only favorite 30 items. There’s no way to make different list for items you want. It crashes and restarts your phone constantly. There’s really no point to the app! Absolute Garbage!!!
It keeps crashing when I scroll through the items it says are at my store.. 7 times now, and getting to what you're trying to find is very counterproductive... everytime it crashed I'd forget where I was just looking at.. 3 hours I will never get back lol.
It’s very frustrating to need dimensions & details and not have them provided at all. The Product Detail link doesn’t work. All items need better descriptions & dimensions given to help make an informed purchase. Either fix it or remove it.

App is ok to find an item, but no way to see if item is available in my store. I’m deleting the app going back to browser mode. Even in browser mode if a store is not a “Ship to this store” you can’t see inventory. Wasted a few trips to Dollar Tree.
There are constant, pop-up ads for games and other apps. Like every 5 seconds. By the time your eye finds the location and starts to read there’s another pop-up. Highly annoying to the point of being unusable. They HAVE stock & product info. I can’t imagine why they don’t want us to have access to it. Also, iPhone only which makes it extra difficult to use on iPad. But it doesn’t really matter as it’s unusable anyway, Some of the info is available on their web page.
Bug with the iOS app: Facebook link does not take user to Dollar Tree FB account
Date: June 8th, 2024 Dollar Tree app for iOS (version 1.2.0) There is a Facebook link inside of the Dollar Tree app. This link should take the user to a Facebook page for Dollar Tree. It does not. It takes the user to a, “this content isn’t available right now” error message. Please fix, either by linking to an official Facebook page, or by removing the link from the app. Thank you!
It’s useless. Only thing can do on there is to look up an item, I can do that on the website. It doesn’t tell me if it’s available in the store and I can’t order from the website. Useless.
All in all the app is nice and easy, It would be better if I could actually se what items are in stock at a certain store or to be able to make a purchase
Ordenas algo y te mandan lo que les da la gana y para devolverlo hay que ir Google a buscar su teléfono porque por la app es imposible hablar con alguien. Lo único bueno fue el servicio por teléfono, son muy amables y dispuestos a ayudar. Yo pedí un artículo y no me enviaron lo que ordené y me mandaron a ir a una tienda. Yo pagué 37 dólares por el producto y me devolvieron solo 32. Pedí el dinero del envío, tiempo y gasolina por ir dos veces a la tienda.
They say they just updated it but I see zero change. You can’t search nearby stores without changing the zip code to each town around you. They never have the things in stock nearby that I see pictured in ads. There is a pop up that drives me crazy and forget tracking an order you have placed online. I do everything by an app and this one is the worst ever!
