OK guys this game is amazing!!!!
So I was looking on AppStore for a game and I saw this one and I looked at the reviews and they were like all this game so cool 5 stars and when I played it oh my gosh this game is so much fun you just tilt your phone and you move around you collect things and there’s so many levels. There’s so many things to do you never get bored I would so recommend playing this game because it’s so much fun do you wanna never get bored of it there’s so many levels like basketball the sleepy one you shoot monsters and get coins to go to the next level. They did a really good job on this game and if you’re reading this, thanks for reading and try it out. You’ll be blown away about how good it is. Bye 😆😆😄😆

Disappointing
I’ve been playing regular doodle jump for a while and was excited to try this version. It took a bit to adjust to the height gaining difference which was ok but the game mechanics are so frustrating in this version. Black holes seem to get you from a much further distance, platforms are easier to miss, jumps don’t feel as uniform, and the most frustrating thing is that jet packs drop you at the bottom of the screen where it’s tough to catch a platform. Additionally due to a higher level of difficulty games end much sooner and there’s ads after every game. I definitely won’t be shelling out $5 to get rid of ads on this game. The new platforms are cool but can be too much all at once. The amount of traps that occur all at once is ridiculous for a fast moving game. Way too many black holes. The original eases into difficulty way better than this one which just throws you in the deep end where a skilled player can die in the first 500. I will say im not the best at the original but I’ve scored over 200k and 100k a handful of times where in this game 2 minutes of playing gets to the difficulty seen around 10 minutes of playing the original. I suspect that scoring is scaled down 10x but it seems so unnecessary. I’d give the game 4-5 stars if they fixed black holes, difficulty easing, and scoring.

Meh
It’s not bad, but it is not nearly as much fun as the original game. It costs more to prevent ads, there is less variety in worlds, and the gameplay of the sequel is terrible. Not a fan of how it takes like 10 years to reach 1000 score, I regularly surpass 100,000 in the original, while i have never even reached 10,000 in this version. I have played Doodle Jump on and off for probably around 10 years and have never died in a black hole the amount of times I have in the day of playing this game. Some of the jumps are near impossible and sometimes I just have to give up and die. The whole unlocking worlds thing is a little bit annoying, but not too much of a problem, gives you incentive to play each world however it does drag and get annoying. Half the worlds are also the exact same as the default world with some minor tweaks which I am not a fan of, especially because the more creative worlds are even better than the worlds in the original game. By no means it is a bad game, but it will never come close to being as good as the original Doodle Jump, unfortunately.

Really like Doodle Jump 2, except for a few things
I have been enjoying Doodle Jump 2, but I have found a few things that don’t seem to work the same way as the other Doodle Jump versions. First, whenever you get a propeller hat, a jet pack or a rocket, as you fly upward and pass by stars, you don’t collect them as you would in the other versions, you just go right past them. And when you get a magnet, it doesn’t draw the stars to you, as it does in the other versions, they seem to do absolutely nothing. I also have a question about the final gold mine level: Why don’t the gold nuggets that you collect accumulate like the stars and other items in the other versions of Doodle Jump, like the Christmas and Batman ones? Those games allow you to accumulate the things you collect in order to purchase various things, like power-ups and different characters & outfits. Again, I am enjoying Doodle Jump 2, I think it could just use some improvements so it functions as well as the other versions of Doodle Jump.

A Flawed Successor
In terms of its core gameplay, Doodle Jump 2 improves upon that of the original Doodle Jump while maintaining the style and charm of the original. However, there are a few glaring issues that hold it back from its full potential. Firstly, the level design is such that there is not really a significant difference between the levels other than a reskin, but the star system requires you to play each unlocked level more than the last in order to unlock the next level. It would be far better if the stars were collected cumulatively, so that the player could choose their favorite level and play that while collecting stars to unlock the latest level. Additionally, the ads are far too frequent, appearing after nearly every level. This is annoying to the point that I often turn on airplane mode to play the game. There is an option to remove the ads for $2.99, but that seems an unjustified price tag given the original is available for $0.99 and doesn’t have many of the same issues.

Great, but missing a few things
I absolutely love this sequel, and it takes me back to when I played the original Doodle Jump as a kid over a decade ago. The new graphics are mesmerizing, but this doesn’t have all of the charm and addictiveness the original has. I would love to see some of elements the first game had that makes me still pick it up today, such as a collectible and spendable currency, power-ups and costumes you can unlock, and most importantly, challenges for each theme that reward you if you complete them. I like the stars in Doodle Jump 2, but they make the game a bit too frustrating because they often guide you to traps, and garnering them to unlock the next theme feels like a chore when you play for a long time. Anyways, the basketball theme is my definite favorite so far, even though I dislike the sport in real life. I hope that Doodle Jump 2 can surpass the first Doodle Jump in replayablity and content-matter some day!

Honest opinion
So I’ve actually been a huge fan of doodle jump for over a decade. I’ve loved the simplicity of the game and was addicted from the very beginning. During the first game I was super impressed by the new styles being introduced and the different achievements and unlockables you could obtain. With Dood Jump 2 I feel like there’s a lot of wasted potential. Don’t get me wrong, I think some of the levels are really charming, but overwhelmingly there’s really no creative license with most the levels. Like the rain and final level! I would have loved little puddles on platforms that cause splashing animations and sounds as you boosted off of them, or a bit of thunder and lightning. It would have been so cool if there where platforms you had to avoid because lightning was about to strike it! Idk.. just lacking soul I guess. I’d like to add just how disappointed I was to not see any great creative backgrounds like on doodle jump 1. They where boring :/. And I know y’all have it in you! Don’t even get me started on the final stage lol. I don’t understand it’s theme at all. It was boring and just as significant as the first stage except of the annoying background music. I’m not trying to sound hyper critical of this game, because I honestly still love it. But I’m just so disappointed at the lack of challenges, unlockables and creativity put into some of the levels.

Inferior sequel
I still play the original Doodle Jump, so I was excited to get the sequel. Firstly, the 5$ price tag for no ads, compared to the original’s 1$ full game is pretty steep. Secondly, this game is about 10x more annoying and chance-dependent than the first. Beating your high score is more about luck than personal improvement, sure you can memorize the patterns, but some are very conniving. The game has a myriad ways of forcing you to jump into a black hole, from traps placed all around it, to springs and elevator platforms that send you directly into them. My second try at the rain level I got 5.4k score, which I’ve yet to get close to since, cause that run I happened to get reasonably lucky with the layout. Lastly, where’s the stats screen? The first game had a great little stats screen with your personal statistics, averages, ways you died, etc. Seems like something a sequel could at least carry over, if not outright improve. Yet here, it’s just gone. Overall the game is alright. I like the new challenges, platforms, etc. I don’t mind the star collection to advance in levels, actually. But the pure chance of some of these patterns is pretty frustrating. When someone like AWPrince, who scored 20million on the original DoodleJump is only getting 10x my score, I think it speaks volumes.

Good, wayyyy too many adds
Very fun and addictive game. Every time I go on to this game, I always go for another high score. But, even if you got to 120, it’ll play an add of a game, that of which I would go to on the App Store, go to the reviews and find out it is garbage, laugh at the pure hypocrisy the game is, before going back to Doodle Jump. It’s getting pretty boring now with the adds of the games I couldn’t care less about. They should either make adds that appeal to the player or less adds. I know y’all made this game as an add farm and want to get as many bones as you can from this game, but you developers have a tendency of not giving a crap about the players and what they think, other than the times we come to you complaining about bugs that destroy gameplay. So, as a conclusion, more personable adds or less adds in general. Cheers

deleted after 5 minutes even though i LOVE doodle jump
i really love this game, my old phone couldn’t handle any games so I was super excited to download it onto my new phone, but the ads are really long, repeatedly bring me to the App Store whenever i click the skip button, and appear way too often. And getting rid of the ads is $3??? If it were a buck or something I would do it but $3 to remove insanely long and frequent ads?? i got annoyed with the ads after literally having the app for a few minutes and gave up and deleted it. Subway Surfers also has ads but they’re way shorter, less frequent, and more easily skipped. I get that game companies have to make money somehow but the ads in this app are excessive! I want to enjoy the game when i have a few minutes of downtime between tasks or im waiting for the train or something, and waiting for super long ads to end every few minutes defeats the entire point.

A Pointless Sequel
So, this really doesn’t do anything that changes up the core gameplay of Doodle Jump 1. If you played the first game, you played this. I don’t see any good reason for this sequel existing. I guess the new progression system to unlock new levels is nice, if a little grindy. This app throws too many ads at your face. Every death = watch an ad. Even if you only survived a few seconds. It’s very annoying, and I often end up just turning off my internet so ads can’t load. Lastly, I randomly lost all my stars (which you must collect a certain number of to unlock the next level), and if I collect new stars, restarting the app loses them again. I still have all my unlocked levels available, just no stars. I don’t know how such a simple app manages to bug out like this, but Doodle Jump 2 pulls it off. I am thoroughly unimpressed. While Angry Birds 2 and BTD6 have drastically upped their game since their respective previous entries, nothing has been done here to modernize or expand upon the original game in any meaningful way. It’s like if Flappy Bird 2 came out and the only thing it added was a couple alternate level themes and the ability to change the color of the bird. It’s just… not enough to justify a full new game

Fun game but a few issues
It’s really fun and I’ve already played it a whole lot. However there are some things that need to be addressed I feel like. I do like the difficulty increase from doodle jump one and the mechanics feel good after playing with them for a while. One thing I personally have an issue with though is the jet pack feels too much of a RNG way to die right now. When you get out of the jet pack you have an extremely small amount of time to react and can lead to deaths where you can’t get to a platform quick enough or the platform you want to land on disappears off the screen as you land. It’s not a big issue but it makes me not want to pick up the jet pack. Overall though the game is great and I love how the breakable platforms break the platforms below, it’s really satisfying.

Just some food for thought
I LOVE THIS GAME!! but I feel like this would be a silver lining that we’d all like. With the bubble armer you could have it also be as a secondary life if let’s say we miss a platform you could add a popping noise and and it kinda throw us up in a similar to the spring or trampoline. You don’t have to change to spawn rate of the power up or how long it last. If you feel that it would still be to much of an advantage you can also turn the bubble into a technical free shot. Basically meaning that if you was to hit a monster, it would disappear and overall I just feel believe it would be aesthetically pleasing to sea from time time.

Interesting change
It used to be so hard to unlock worlds at previous versions ( e.g: I had to collect 2000 stars to unlock the 8th world) but these recent updates brought a huge equalization to the game. But there is a tiny issue here and it’s about keeping our progress. I have already claimed all of the worlds on my old iPad but I can’t continue that progress with my new iPhone ( with the same Game Center account,iCloud, etc). I hope that you dear developer, find a way to make things right again like before!! I highly recommend this version and other ones to. ;)

A Good Followup to Doodle Jump
Having played the original Doodle Jump since 2011 and thoroughly enjoying it, I can safely safely say that the sequel is a good follow up. The overall level design is still easy to pick up but significantly harder to master. Having high scores attached to each level is also a nice touch, and requiring players to unlock each level with stars is a nice incentive to discover and master each level. That being said, there are a few things that prevents me from giving the game a perfect score. For one, there are many features from the original game that are missing, including achievements, multiplayer races and tournaments. The levels themselves, while fun to play through, feel like a lazy re-skinning of the first level (in contrast to the expressive ad creative levels in the first). Finally, there are instances of trap placement that feel legitimately impossible to bypass. Overall though, this is a good game in which I feel the negatives I pointed out will be patched up in future updates. I would recommend trying it (but be prepared to either deal with constant ads or fork over $5 to permanently get rid of them)

Doodle jump 2 is pretty good!
I was playing some normal doodle jump and eventually got mad at the constant doodle jump 2 ads and clicked on it. Doodle jump 2 is filled with fresh animations and still plays the same, but themes are unlocked and not instantly available and they all get progressively cooler and harder. Which is cool because there is an unlocking objective. The adds also are not as frequent! I hate adds but all free mobile games have to have some, this has the least between jump sessions. This is a great game and I’ve only got to the prehistoric stage!

Glitch or made to do thisp
Doodle jump 2! I really liked the first one and I rated that one 5 stars because I had no problems with it but this it has a few problems First items. the jet, pack why are you at the bottom at the screen I die almost every time because of that and if you do survive well luck is on your side because you can’t even see the platform that you need to go on and that is the same for all the other items Please fix theses issues that I have found and what other people have found if you can I like the game and all the different worlds and the creative creatures that you put in there it’s just the items that really make me want to rate this for lower Second. Why don’t the magnets not let you get the stars in some worlds and that’s the same for the jet pack you go right through them and that annoys me too Last. In the first doodle jump you can get to the platforms easily but in this one it just seems so much harder than the first doodle jump. Was everything that I listed in here supposed to happen⁉️⁉️❔❓

Great game!!
This game is great. First off you can play offline. Secondly it is just really fun to play when you don’t have anything to do. I have a suggestion though, it should be when you kill a monster it gives you a star. That way stars are a little easier. My second suggestion would be to have the platforms that break on level 6 count towards the platforms broken counter. The counter should give you a star for every ten or five even platforms broken. This game is great and I thank you for making it!

Downgrade
This game is significantly worse than the original. The bounce is not the same, the gravity feels stronger and the tilt controls are overly sensitive. It is slightly more challenging because they give you no wiggle room with the platforms below you. But none of those are deal breakers or even make the game necessarily worse. No, the og doodle jump is so much superior because of the one thing that hooked me to the game for a good two months- rpg mechanics. Doodle jump 2 is a total bastardization of the collectible mechanic that made the og pirate and ninja theme so captivating. There is no incentive for me to collect the orbs besides unlocking essentially color palette swaps. The variations in some of the levels doesn’t make it any better either. Bring back the rpg and character options, then we can start giving better scores.

You know what’d be nice?
Some sort of story with the enemies. I think it’d be something really fun to have more if a reason for them being there other than “they just are.” I think it’d be awesome if they had some sort reason to try and knock “The Doodle” down, names for each one, and a log to keep track of how many of each type you’ve defeated. Also, it’d be nice to have something else to spend stars on. After you’ve unlocked all 8 worlds, there’s literally no purpose for them. It’d be cool if you could spend them on things like head starts, extra lives (1 per game), things like that Other than that I think this is a really good game 👍

Not that fun, and so close to the original and too many ads
This game is okay. But I feel like they are just milking it for cash :/. The original felt fun, and it was fun to play with friends and family and tournaments. This just doesn’t feel the same. It feels like it’s “rushing” you go move on to the next stage in some sort of way, instead of playing endlessly and no rush like the og. You can’t really chose which level you play, untill you’ve unlocked all of them. So it seems like it’s rushing you just to play all the levels. And the ads are just to many. It ruins it. Not to mention, almost every step moves the camera extremely fast. It makes me feel sick and dizzy on how much is going on, so I deleted it.

Kinda Dissapointed
I’ve played the original doodle jump since it came out pretty much. It’s always been such a good game for me. The levels were so creative with lots in store!! The character you could unlock were fun and made you work at it. However doodle jump 2 is honestly awful lol. I don’t want to be too critical. But literally it’s just a less fun version of doodle jump 1. The score goes up less which is dumb, it’s harder in an annoying way, the jump speed and lading is worse, the levels are so bland. Like it looks like such little fort was put into this game. Not to mention the whole collecting stars to u lock levels that are all the same is just not fun. Yes there are better animations but it’s just not impressive.

Great sequel, but I found a possible bug.
*SEE BOTTOM FOR BUG REPORT* Doodle Jump 2 is just like the original, get as high as you can, shoot monsters etc. But, with every new level you unlock, some new element is introduced(for example, sand platforms in level 3). My only complaint is that the star requirements to unlock each level get a little bit too much. 600 is going to take forever. Maybe make each level take 200 stars to unlock after the first 3? BUG REPORT On the iPhone SE(not the 2020 version), the screen size does not fill the entire screen. I’m assuming this is a bug, because on my sister’s iPhone 7, the entire screen is filled

I love this game!❤️
This game is awesome! It’s so active and it’s easy to play at any time I have no problem with any of it if I could change anything it would be to be able to create your own character you. Doesn’t need WiFi and so you can play it anywhere and you can play for hours or just one round and unlike some games you can just pause it and get back to it later. I would definitely recommend 5 star review! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Love this sequel!
doodle jump is one of my favorite games ever so I was happy to see the sequel and it’s super fun! Wish there were more worlds, and newer monsters to face but other than that it s a great game :) recently however, and the reason I’m not giving it 5 stars, is that it keeps telling me “connection to the scores server could not be made” which prevents me from checking any scores :( I tried deleting the app and redownloaded it but that o lay erased all my date so I have to start anew...maybe it’s just a tiny bug that’ll get fixed in a future update? Hope so! Because i love the conceptiva nature of this game. Great great game just please fix that scores bug it’s killin me!

Waaaay to many ads
You will make more money with less ads. I’m fine with one every once in a while but every single game is too much. I’ve decided to play with airplane mode on to stop them, or opening and closing the app every time one plays. You should have an option to start game with power up for watching an ad, or a star doubler for a certain amount of time for watching an ad, not forced ads every game. Another thing is there’s been lots of instances where I’ll hit a power up, and I get placed at the very bottom of them screen not able to make it to a platform because none are low enough. This is an issue.

Incredibly fun but lacks content
It's a really really cool game but I'd appreciate more levels. An idea of mine would be a speedrun mode where the game automatically stops at a score of 1000 or 2000 or whatever with a timer built in it. Also some kind of PvP, character customization (collecting stars for gacha maybe) and older levels recycled as new levels would be great. I'd also add background music and collaboration characters like hololive talents would be incredible. This game hasn't been updated in months, am hoping that the start of a game with a lot of potential won't be the end.

Needs a few improvements
I love doodle but I think you should be able to choose what ever level you want when you play the level before it and there is way to many ads which is just plain annoying so please make some improvements and it is basically the same thing as the first doodle jump I think you should add challenge levels to the game and bonus levels that would help get more players so you can earn more money also you should have daily challenges with leader boards like Crossy road

Ads Ads Ads
I love doodle jump. I played this game throughout my early childhood and this new sequel brings back this sense of nostalgia for me. The new game is awesome, but can’t compete with the old one if I’m being honest. My only complaint is the insane amount of ads. And I’m talking loads and loads of them. Every single time I die, a stupid gardenscape comes up. And if you decide to remove ads, you’ll have to cough up $5.00. Most games would make you pay $1.00 or sometimes $2.00 to remove them, but for a game like this it just seems unreasonable. Other than that I’d recommend this game to anybody who can put up with this many ads. 👍

A worthy sequel with room to grow
Super-fun and adorable, just like the original. The springier physics of DJ2 take some getting used to, but in short order feel natural. In fact, DJ1 now feels a little sluggish to me in comparison. I like the new levels, as well as star collection as a mechanic for unlocking new experiences. Downsides: the noticable repetition of platform “macros” and a confusingly understated final level. DJ1 underwent significant development during its life, and so I look forward to what the devs have planned for the future.

A nice update. I can’t wait for multiplayer!
This is a fun game. If you enjoy the multiplayer and tournament features of the original, I’m afraid you won’t find those here. The single player game is at least as fun as the original (more fun in my opinion). They’ve amped up the difficulty, which is welcome since the original becomes too easy and repetitive after a bit of practice. The latest update now allows you to pay for an ad free experience, which was my primary complaint. Thank you.

First of I just want to say I redownloaded the first one and after playing it I played sequel right off the bat I saw it had a big difference the art style has gotten cleaner and it’s now animated is looks really good but now hear are the cons first my favorite skin outside of the default one was the 8bit look and in this one it’s not in hear I was kinda disappointed that it’s not hear and I really hope you put it in the as I would really love that and more skins would be nice (conclusion) it just needs more skins and I just hope the 8bit one will be added into the game.

AMAZING game, few problems
This game is a classic from the original one in 2008 I played. I love all the components that converted in the original one to this one like, jetpacks, springs, traps, and many more. I liked the high score bar and the local bar and the new monsters, the falling animation, cool platforms, and sick music! But, I’m very sad that they removed the spring shoes and some of the maps. I wonder why the dev did that but in the future I hope they could bring that back because, I really enjoyed that and I bet many people did to. Also, you can just turn the internet off and have no adds so your Basically paying 5 dollars for free. (Need to fix that) Also, I can’t wait for another update and new maps! This game is so fun of how simple the concept is and how it’s so fun. Overall, great game can’t wait for more updates! (Lima sky is best)

my biggest issue is not having settings — in the old app, you used to be able to calibrate your phone, and more importantly, change your shooting direction. now there’s not even an option to change game functions. i’ve been playing doodle jump since i was a kid. i was excited to remember it and redownload it. i even paid for the ad free version which i NEVER do so i could enjoy it fully. but there are many noticeable differences. there’s only 9 levels and they’re honestly not that well designed aesthetically. i’m just bummed :(

Super fun game
This game is so fun! It doesn’t have a million ads like other free games. I just got this game today and I am obsessed! I like how it has people recent scores on the right side and the character is so cute. But I wish there was a way to turn down or mute the sound. Sometimes I want to listen to my own music while I play this game and the sound gets in the way. Besides that, everything is awesome. I highly recommend this app for anyone who wants a great game.

It’s pretty fun until you finish
It was really fun, and I collected all the stars pretty quick and got to the disco world. Contrary to what others may think, collecting the stars and progressing takes less time than you may think. Also if you don’t want ads you can turn off WiFi. The only thing that’s bothering me is level 0 which I’m convinced is some secret thing, but I can’t figure it out. Anyway it’s fun, but now that I’ve reached the end, there’s not much to do so I will probably be deleting this soon. Hopefully some unique content comes out soon.

It’s ok I guess.
So yeah, this was majorly addictive. And then I finished. I’m not good enough to reach any of the already ridiculous high scores, and there’s nothing left to do. It was fine, but it’s a real disappointment once you get all the levels. The final level is also extremely disappointing. I spent the whole game looking forward to what cool things they would do, and... nothing. It’s just the first level with new skins and music. I think they should’ve had the space level as the final level, it’s much more epic. Anyway, it was ok, but honestly just felt like a waste of time by the time I was done with it.

Its fun but has a glitch
No no no no. I just wasted an hour playing this game. It is fun, but there is an extremely annoying glitch that has caused me to lose so many stars and Im so fed up with it. For some reason, every once in a while all the stars I have accumulated in the top right hand of my screen straight up DISAPPEAR. One time I had 70 stars then the next thing I know there all gone. They didn't get added to the bar at the bottom there just GONE. This has happened to me so many times and its starting to really get on my nerves. :(

Fun game, but...
While the game is fun and challenging, I would like to report a slight complaint in regards to the purchase of no ads It said that it would take only $5. Since it was a small enough cost, I didn’t mind clicking buy. However, once I did, I got a notification that it actually took a bit more money than it said it would, with me losing nearly $13 instead of the $5. That in itself isn’t much of an issue, I’m primarily confused and a little irritated that it took much more than it said the cost was.

I’ve been playing this game for a very long time since the first part and the beginning of its launch..it is so exciting and enjoyable,,but I’ve only one suggestion..after unlocking all the eight level what is the reason of collecting the stars again..I think if u made a store that has a new character or outfit will be better and use the stars as a coin to it. Thanks a lot 🤝

A question occurring after the last update.
After the last update , I found my game cannot record any information, including stars and score in each unit. The weird thing is when I restart it, (killing the program in the background) all data has been reset ! However, unlocked unit are still available, only with stars and scores wiped. Could anyone helps? Btw, the game is attractive and the outfits really fall into my taste~

Nothing all that new
There isn’t much new in this, and is really just a few updates to the animations and graphics. Guess it’s easier to release a brand new app instead of just updating the original, but maybe they we’re trying to keep the original one the classic, which is also fine. Be ready to see an ad after almost every play if you don’t spend the 5 bucks (at the time of writing this). I didn’t see any options like the original. It’s a shame you can’t manually calibrate in this, which means if you’re not perfectly aligned straight up, it’ll be a challenge to control.

Fun but there something that frustrates me
Whenever you use a trampoline, helicopter hat, or a jet pack, the doodler seems to “drop” a little bit at the end, which at some times can be bad because the platforms can go too far down to the point where you can’t jump on them and end up falling. I wish I could explain this more easily but I just can’t.

Jump back to the original
The original Doodle Jump was perfect. I’m not sure why this game exists other than being a cash grab. There is nothing new here; it plays exactly like its predecessor. But it will cost you $4.99 to play the game without a super-long, unskippable video ad appearing every time you lose (no family sharing either). Also, the game will frequently push you towards a no-win scenario, e.g., platforms which explode before anybody could get to them or literally holes and monsters everywhere. (Not sure why, but my previous version of this review was deleted.)

No Control Menu
I would rate doodle jump 2 a five star, however, it seems that there is not a menu to allow an edit on whether to aim your shooter or to make it just shoot straight up like it is on the first DoodleJump so people have used these tactics in the past in order to get high up in the level. If we have to aim where we want it makes it harder to determine to go after the monster or not fall. This may be a small complaint, still a good game.

Great but too many ads
I used to love playing the original to pass time back in the day. This sequel is better in almost every way. However, after every game there is an ad. Kind of hard to “become extremely addicted” when there’s ads everywhere. I feel bad for the people that get sucked into them. When they get sucked in the rest of us pay an annoyance tax. Bottom line, if you can manage seeing an ad after every game then this one is extremely fun.

I mean…it passed the time…
You have to get progressively more stars to unlock the next level. The next levels are mostly a theme for Doodle Jump. Most are unimpressive. Lvl. 7 is particularly offensive in this regard. It’s mostly the same game as Doodle Jump 1 with 2 bars of electronica on endless repeat and headphones on all character’s heads. The mining theme is more more elaborate but…to what end? There’s no more levels to unlock. It becomes the same game as Doodle Jump 1 again with a theme on it. It passes time but the dopamine runs out eventually.

I didn’t absolutely hate it or love it a 3
While the idea for the game is good and features more monsters to fight it does get repetitive plus it also was a little boring. I would really like to say that I can write a 5 star review if there was more sound effects and music. but it was fun for 2 months before I gave it up. I would write a 5 star review on the original version probably. But I could not play the full completion when I looked at the levels and saw what they would be.

No calibration?
Why is there no way to calibrate the phone? At least there isn’t a way to do it at the tutorial, it’s super hard to go high because I can’t jump right from my screen tilting when the phone is still. Is it something wrong on my end or something? I gave it 3 stars because the first one was amazing and had calibration. I believe if this game works hard enough to fix errors it might become just as, or even more popular than its original.

Only get it if you have five bucks to spend
I liked the original doodle jump so seeing a second one piqued my interest. The games itself are a bit harder than the first one, and the animations are a bit more fluid. The gameplay was pretty solid, but thats not the issue. With the first game it was only a dollar to get no ads, which was fine with me. Here however, it’s five dollars and I personally don’t want to pay that. The ads themselves are terrible, they’re those annoying interactive ones that take half a minute to finally have that tiny little skip buttton show in the top corner that 50% of the time you miss and get brought to the store page. These show up every time you die, so with this game being harder than the first it’s very easy to die frequently and be 50/50 on playing and watching ads. I would avoid this game.
