Dover Federal Credit Union is the best credit union I’ve ever banked with. After having a bad experience with another popular credit union I swore to never use one again. A relative told me to at least give DFCU a try & I’m so glad that I did! They are always so friendly & courteous when you contact them. If there’s ever an error on their part they take full responsibility for it & act quickly to rectify the problem, not try to blame it on the customer or someone else. I assure you I’m here to stay.
First off. It’s security need a little work. Whenever maintenance happens it knocks everything and causes people to input their correct information, but have it viewed by the system as incorrect with the message “Unable to validate your account information”. Second maintenance should definitely be done during hours with the least amount of app usage. Less problems that way for members. Lastly get the the security to function properly without having to redo all the validation steps every time maintenance knocks it out. That and get functions such as check pictures and such. Comes well in handy for those on the go. Please consider this as a very critical and crucial suggestion to help better members lives as well as the use of the app. Thank you!
Yes indeed,if only every financial institution was as reliable and accurate as Dover Federal Credit Union! I’ve been a member since the 1980s when I was an Airman stationed at Dover Air Force Base. The great folks at DFCU that just get it right constantly are to credit for the superb overall rating of this institution. I can say exactly the same about the civilian workforce at DAFB that sent me off to a 20 year career while my finances were meticulously managed by DFCU. Thank You Dover!
I love this app. I really truly do, especially for someone who is always on the go and doesn’t have time to visit the actual bank, this app is amazing. However, it seems like every time I need to get into my account, it can’t validate my info because of system maintenance. Why the app isn’t updated like other apps, I’ve no idea. But please fix the maintenance so that it’s at nighttime when nobody needs to get into their account, not at 10 in the morning on a Sunday. Thank you.
Please get some QA testers to test this application before putting it live! There is a show stopper that I’m experiencing while trying to create a new login I’d. Although I have all the correct credentials for the login I’d, the app still won’t let me continue. This is huge reputational risk!
Have been trying to deposit a check since last week. App won’t work. Went to App Store, still wouldn’t work. Had trouble before this virus hit & went to bank in person. Was told everything was in working order. Have called bank, tried Wednesday to deposit at 2 different banks before 7 pm, both closed, got in line today, don’t want to use a tank of gas. Next step will be to find a new credit union in the area
I’ve been using the app for a number of years and the quality is extremely poor. It doesn’t accurately show your available balance . It doesn’t process my transactions in time. It takes 3-7 days to even process my transactions. Making my bill pay a hassle,promoting late fees and causing overdraft in the mist. There has been over 50+ dollars that I’ve had to pay as a result of this negligence.
Worst bank possible impossible to make a truck payment have a 2021 ram and it’s like jumping threw hoops to pay my payment cause the app and website make you use a external site that’s hard to understand or find at times then they charge you a convenience fee what’s convenient about taking an hour to pay a bill horrible will refinance soon
The app works fine for transfers and account information. Unfortunately, when I moved out of state it didn’t process very important deposits through the app. The checks were bank drafts & from law firms, not from Mr. John Doe. Very frustrating and caused me more $ to overnight the original checks to be deposited.
This app is great when it decides to work. Too bad it never does. Maintenance and other issues constantly make it so I cannot use it. When I try to use the web browser it works great. But the app needs work.
Worst customer service experience ever seen in my life!!!! Online almost never works then it takes several attempts to correct then they are never available to correct the problem to begin with I wish I never established my account with them!!!!!
Dover FCU sent out a letter about this to all it's members as well as their tellers were super excited about this and told me about it as well. I personally am excited for this as going online to check never works for me!
This app keeps getting better and better, and with the addition of fingerprint access capabilities, it's GREAT. But…… if I may make a suggestion: the fingerprint login is a touch bothersome after I log out. Logging out takes me back to the start, and at the start, the login process starts over again. I can't close the app until I wait to cancel the fingerprint login. Maybe there's a way to stop that?
