Convenient to have everything on an app. There were a few things I was interested in but didn’t buy due to the lack of pictures. Seems like a lot of times there is only one pic. What does the back look like? What does the one that has the face mask built in look like when you put the face mask down? Some have designs that you can’t see, can’t zoom in so you kind of don’t really know what you’d be buying (maybe this was a bug if there was only one photo, I did see others you could zoom). I’ve also noticed when you put your size in the filter, it doesn’t show you everything. When you scroll thru everything without a filter, you find more things in your size that weren’t included in the filter. It would also be helpful if there were a Q&A area. I found a cool sweater but it had kind of a plastic or leather and metal buckle that I’m not sure can go in the washer, so it would be helpful to know if it’s hand wash only, etc.
Echoing the prior reviewer, it doesn’t help to show me duplicates of the same photo, especially when the item is described as having specific details on the back when all you’re showing are a couple (same) pics of the front! That said, I’m glad to see you, DB! I miss your brick & mortar, but I’ll be checking out your app frequently.
The filter and sort options don’t work properly. If I ask to see dresses sorted by price from High to Low, it presents 6 options. It should show me ALL the dresses sorted by price. The 6 options is showed me were all sold out, so it’s not filtering properly. And when I ask to see Best Sellers it should still show me more than 6. Unless nobody is buying dresses, which is possible, because nobody can find them. Also, when I click Collections it makes sense to see pants, tops, dresses, etc. But a collection called Clothing makes no sense because all the things are “Clothing.”
It’s so frustrating to navigate this app. It doesn’t keep track of what you’ve already looked at and takes you back to the top of the list whenever you want to go back. The search feature also never works. Anything you type in, even something as simple as “sleeveless top” yields no results. I have tried deleting the app and reinstalling. Still doesn’t work properly. I miss the brick and mortar store so much.
Do ppl kno what an app review is?? It’s not about the products ppl! How could this possibly rate a 4.6 otherwise?Unless they r paying ppl or doing the ratings themselves. There r so many things wrong I can’t possibly list them all. Shuts down, gets stuck, logs u out, doesn’t navigate correctly and so many more performance issues. I even uninstalled & reinstalled but it didn’t help. Garbage. And there is no order tracking?? Online wants u to download another different app to track. Just ridiculous. Should not have bothered developing or launching this.
As grateful as I am that one of my favorite stores still survives online, this app is completely nonfunctional. I have never been able to browse because the app almost immediately crashes. When it doesn’t crash, navigating the app is baffling. How is it that a clothing retailer app doesn’t have its clothing categories in the initial menu?? I can only navigate to dresses on the home page?? And the filters are lacking and the main source of crashing.
This app for Dressbarn is just awful. The pics are about the models and not the item they're selling, models running or odd poses not showing the garment...Why?. The description of the item is just as bad, for example on the dresses there should be like most online stores a description of the length of the dress, material of the garment. It's just vague and if I purchase something online I need as many details to be confident about the purchase I'm making. I love Dressbarn but I can't be confident about making a purchase with them online.
I’m finding there are not many options for petite pants. The ones I do find are mostly sold out. I was only able to find two pairs in my size. I’m disappointed in this because I love the clothing from dress barn and would buy more if it was available.
There’s no way to filter the items by size or by color or any of the other usual filters. You have to sift through all the items, including everything that’s “sold out.” I don’t need to see both the plus size item and the regular size item side by side, and I don’t want to see hundreds of sold out items.
Numerous times I will type in ‘skirt’ or ‘dress’ for example, and I’ll get items such as blouses or pants. Very frustrating. Search bar needs to be much more accurate.
Everything fits me so well. The styles are beautiful and perfect for all my occasions and church. My dresses are not too short. Please thank your buyers for me!
Does not have basic shopping functionality: specifically filters! Takes forever to find what you want! Save the app space on your phone and just go to the website on Safari.
DressBarn emails me info on clothing. Today I found a blouse I really liked online. When I clicked on it, GET THE APP popped up, so I did. Nothing mentioned about COST of App. When I clicked on it, it was stated that payment was made. WHAT PAYMENT AMOUNT & for WHAT? If the App has a cost that should be stated UPFRONT, not a surprise after.
There are no topics/heading that allow for the viewing of bags and scarves and all that. Are those items being phased out in lieu of just clothes and jewelry?
Would like to know why my account is being charged. If I order online do you automatically start charging a monthly fee? If so opt me out, I will never order from you again!! Clara Gorley

I am 84 years old. I needed a nice outfit for a grandsons wedding. I do not get out much due to Covid and mobility. I ordered four outfits to try not real sure of size. I kept one for over 100 dollars and sent back three as directed. then I found out that you give only store credit. I need the 450 dollars in cash not store credit because I plan on no more shopping. I feel I should have been told of this policy ahead of time. Now O am unhappy I ever ordered. Please see what can be done about this matter. I would appreciate it a lot. I have shopped at Dressbarn more than a few times when there was a storefront. I ordered a dress for a wedding back a few months ago. I liked and wore it. But now....I feel like I am being bombarded with their online advertising texting! I have looked for a way to get-off the list!!!! I looked & looked and found nothing!! Seriously I want the ad's to stop!

Wow !!’ Where do I start I initially purchased 3 tops, then 3 more great loved them. Then u advertised a great sale so I tried to purchase 2 more along with the sale code it was rejected . I tried getting help but all they did was send me articles that had nothing to do with my problem, after trying 4 times I gave up. Today I saw u advertised free tops useing the code23FR33 I thought I will try again . Same thing would not accept code. I have been a long time customer dating back to you store days but I will be looking elsewhere as u can not be trusted.
This app and (to a lesser extent) this store is a mess. I remember going into their store locations in the before-times and struggling to find what I needed. The saga continues on this app. Its horribly organized. Why do you show me sandals, sunglasses and swimwear in the “cold weather accessories” section? Why don’t you have a size chart for your clothes or list the material composition of the fabric? Why make your customers guess? I hope it’s not only because you have a no cash refund policy. I admit, there are a few absolute gems for sale in the app, but when you find them they are AT LEAST 2-3 times more expensive than is reasonable. I thought I might be able to get a decent price with the Black Friday storewide sale, but when I applied the coupon code only the grand total of my shopping cart changed. They don’t give you an opportunity to edit down your cart based on the final price of each individual item. Again, more guessing games. Dress Barn stores have been closed for awhile so you’ve had time to develop a much better app and overall shopping experience for your customers than this.
