New features have been good, but the address field in self dispatch often does not drop down with the common places so I am not able to use an existing common place. My biggest want would be for a split screen between map and call details. It would be nice to see mapping on half the screen to get the location, and the list of calls on the other half where you can go into call details so you can get updated dispatch notes while en route to a call without having to go back and forth between the map and calls with two clicks each time. I would also like to see the mapping drop pins accurately on buildings or areas instead of always just being in the middle of the road without any indication of what side of the road the location is on.
This e-citation app is user-friendly and is always improving. After purchasing and setting up the Desktop version of eFORCE, and obtaining the passkey from their customer service, you’re ready to go.
I can’t get the app to open at all on any device. I even removed it and reloaded it on every device, still can’t open it. Every time I try to open it, it will show me the spinning circle for a short moment then go back to iphone home screen. Not sure what the problem is....
If your agency is considering purchasing this software that goes with this app, DO NOT!!! Customer service is absolutely garbage!! Rated one star because that’s as low as I could! If I could rate it low enough to give the general average rating a 0 I would. Save your money! Buy a different software
If I could give this app 0 stars, I would. It fails to open properly at least half the time, doesn’t update the status screen, and will regularly show no calls/no units on duty. Don’t waste your time or money with EForce. Seriously, don’t...
The entire eForce suite of apps is outdated, still requires Silverlight and dependent on IE 11. The iOS app is unreliable and basically only provides one feature, CAD, despite what eForce says.
Not just the app, but the software in its entirety needs a lot of polish. Our agency is switching to Copsync. I recommend the devs reach out to some officers in the field for feedback.
My agency has been using the app for a few years. In 08/2020 we had an update on the app. The update is garbage! The call screen background is black but the available unit screen is white. Thanks EFORCE now my night vision is gone! The old version constantly updated itself. The new version in the settings says its updates every 6 seconds... nope I have to refresh the screen constantly to see the cad notes. In the old version our agency used displayed three columns 1 the open calls for service. 2 details on the selected call for service and 3 available units. The new version displays only 2 columns 1 the open calls for service 2 the details on the selected call. The problem is the font size is so large you have to constantly scroll through the columns to find what your looking for. Why not keep it 3 columns to include the following 1 open calls for service 2 call notes details for the selected call 3 involved persons vehicle information for the selected call. Being that this garbage is all we got we are going to continue using garbage. We will like change RMS and CAD at the end of year.
