Great store
I enjoy using FamilyFare, especially when they have their coupon sale or their specials from the store. Family Fare is about the cheapest store for finding groceries especially if you watch the sales. lots of times they will offer buy two and get three free. The cashiers are very friendly and the store manager is almost always on site. The meat is fresh and the cuts are very good sized. They keep the store well stocked, and if there’s something you’re looking for, and you can’t find it, you can always find someone who will help you find it. This is the best store in Beatrice, Nebraska and I’m sure there are other places that you can go to the Nash Company. Make sure that their company has the best employees around. Barb, the assistant manager is the best. She is always smiling, polite and very helpful. I love all the older cashiers as they remember who you are and ask about your family. They make you feel like family and you matter. Shop the Beatrice, Nebraska Family Fare Grocery Store. You will constantly return.

Efficient system
Using Fast Lane has been an efficient and safe way to do my grocery shopping during this pandemic. As a senior citizen I have been cautious this past year about going into retail businesses, restaurants, etc., and have found the staff at Family Fare to be quite careful and responsive using the Fast lane system. I do my own pick up and have never had to wait more than a couple minutes while they retrieve my refrigerated/frozen food to deliver it to my car. I’d recommend this system to anyone.

Original app was MUCH better
Fast Lane wasn’t broken; why did it need tbe “improved?” The “New Experience” is extremely difficult to use on the phone platform. It has too many popup suggestions that get in the way. And when I close that screen it takes me back to the beginning. “Browse” doesn’t mean look at the products; it means find a store. The checkout process is long and convoluted. The list of usual purchases is hard to find. Why not a Begin Shopping tab? It frustrates me every time I use it, which is every week. I order for delivery to my elder mother who lives a distance away, so I NEED this app. I just struggle through it. It takes me longer to shop online than it would if I just went to the store. Maybe it’s designed for computer platform or tablet rather than phone. I can try that; but honestly I’m sure a large percentage of users use their phones. Please, please - keep improving it - including increasing search terms. It’s not good yet.

Sneaky Price Gouging/coupons don’t work
I’ve started going to the self checkout whenever I go to family fare because I’ve realized each time I go there, I get ripped off. My coupons I clipped don’t go through or the sales from ad don’t go through either. The new thing I’ve found out is the shelf price listed is actually less than what they charge you at the register for several items. I don’t trust them so now I do self check out & only go for the items on sale. 10/10 times now, I’ve had to have them manually adjust the price…also, they just informed me I can no longer use my clipped coupons from my app, have to use their new kiosk in store to get the “coupons”…so app is useless. I’m serious…double check your receipt every time & watch shelf sticker prices compared to what the items ring up as. I even went back to service desk to let them know & they tried making excuses but then realized I really did get ripped off but they got sick of adjusting all the mistakes so told me that’s all they can do in one transaction.

Terrible
Used the “new experience “ for a grocery order I really needed and I got charged for it but it never came through to the store. I triple checked the location and had to call customer service 3X today and call the store 4x. Order is showing as in process to the customer service people but never came through to the actual store. Also it doesn’t let you buy a subscription to the fast lane on the same transaction as groceries because the subscription is digital. I had to fill my cart twice to place the order and it never showed up on the other end. I invested 2 hours into an order I could not get. I can totally see why they are called family unfair - not only are the prices insane the loop of customer service has driven me insane. Back to Walmart for me

Best freshly cut fruit in town!
I can no longer purchase sliced and diced fresh fruit from Meijer, Target, Costco or Walmart. The taste just doesn’t compare to the freshly cut fruit at Family Fare. Even when I have had the chance to buy the 50% off container of my favorite mixed fruit package because it needed to be sold that day, the flavor is better than a package placed on the shelf that day at one of the larger box stores. If you haven’t tried the prepared fruit from Family Fare, and you love a great fruit cup, you need to check out the prepared fruit area!

We love Kalkaska store!
The folks at the Kalkaska store are wonderful! Friendly, helpful and outgoing! They make every effort to please the customers in all departments. Dennis in the Meat Dept goes out of his way to have and make superb meat choices. Patrick and Matt are always available if you have a question. Charlie who works all over the store is very pleasant and if you need assistance trying to reach the top shelf, well, he’s right there. All the ladies from cashier to those that stock shelves know us and we know them! All this makes grocery day fun!☀️🍁🍂🧡

Fast Lane is Awesome!
I have used the Fast Lane since just before the pandemic began. I had a total knee replacement at the end of February and tried to make our life manageable throughout my recovery. My husband was very weak from taking chemo and recovering from pneumonia, so I knew he was unable to get the groceries. Fast Lane was our answer then and still is so helpful to us now. Neither of us has much endurance to shop and we know that folks like Kris and Bell, or whoever is packing our order, will call if an item is unavailable or if they may substitute. Inventory
Your app doesn't allow me to check prices or availability. I don't drive and want to check ahead before taking an Uber. I love Family Fare and the people there are so kind and helpful. There are a few things you could do to help our community during these difficult times. 1. Allow EBT food benefit cards for payment on delivery items. Walmart does but I like you better. 2. Senior citizens are struggling. Instead of a senior citizen discount offer free delivery on orders over $75. Giving your profit margin a boost instead of a loss. These are just ideas. I love your store but sometimes I'm forced to go elsewhere for those reasons.

Best deal around!!!
Super speedy..... pickup order usually ready before my selected pickup time. Accurate!!!! Plus, if I ask for a specific produce, the shopper always selects the nicest and freshest one....I was initially worried that a shopper wouldn’t care and just pick any one, just to get the order finished. NOT SO!!!!! Speedy AND picky!!! All the shoppers are extremely friendly and when I notify them that I’m in the parking lot, they text back that they’ll be right out with my order,...... and they are!!!!! This is a great customer service!!

Love buying local
My first Fast Lane order was a big success. Ordering in the privacy of my home, quick and easy. Picked up in less than 3 hours and loaded my car. I knew the person that did the picking and delivery. You only get that from a store you trust and know everyone because it’s local. The shopper was quick to let me know what items needed to be replaced with something else. Also, shared with me about how to save on the delivery charge and the benefit of using this service in this time of the Coronavirus. Thank you Family Fare.

Terrible voiceover support
Please consider designing your app with voice over support. If you don’t know voiceover is please look it up. As it is on every iOS device. Since I can’t use the app very well and all the deals are related to this New Year’s card I don’t shop as much at family fare anymore. If the app gets fixed and works better with voiceover I’d be happy to redo my rating and start shopping at my local family fare store again.

When you’ve got the right “picker…”
This service is truly valuable. Overall the service is very quick and efficient. There are exceptional customer service folk at my local store. There is a customer service person who has filled my order that I have had to tell where to find what I have ordered. I get the absolute worst choices of product. For a few weeks I went somewhere else. I want to support my local store. Maybe testing the readiness of team members is needed.

Friendly staff and Wonderful Produce
I like to go on senior’s day to get my 5% off, but it’s not uncommon to see the general manager, who will always go out of his way to either say hello and/or ask me if I’ve found everything I need. I have my favorite cashier and her name is Denise. If their prices were a little lower, I’d probably do all my shopping there. Thank you Family Fare for being a home town jewel.

I should have said sometimes. I am not able to use my app on my phone. I was really surprised when this came up. When I try to get in, it usually flashes and goes to a blank page. There are tiny choices to choose from on the bottom of the page but I am unable to use them. You click on them and nothing happens. I have written before and you said you would get back with me. I’m sorry I used this source to contact you. I love your card and app when it works. Thank you.

High Prices
High quality meat and produce. Well organized and clean inside, at least the store on Butternut in N. Holland. Some grocery checkers need attitude adjustments, but I guess you have that at any chain store. My only gripe is that Family Fare’s prices are super inflated. On sale, a bag of cooked peeled shrimp is $5.99 where Walmart’s everyday price for the exact same item is $5.39 I am not loyal to any store in particular, I shop around for the best deals! Other than Walmart when it comes to meat and produce, “Meijer” by far and away beats “Family Fare” 24-7 regarding pricing! In my opinion, that’s why Family Fare only has a 1.9 start rating, compared to the Meijer on North Shore Drive in Holland at 4.9 stars.

New update is awful
The new update is awful and borderline unusable. It constantly logs me out/back in meaning I lose items previously placed in my cart. When trying to pay, it takes me to my browser to put in info but, since I’m not logged in on my browser, it doesn’t show my cart. The interface is easy to accidentally close what I’m trying to shop for. Overall, it makes me never want to use the app which, in turn, just makes me want to shop somewhere else. The whole point of shopping FF, for me, is to be easy. This update makes it harder.

Convenience
The website is so convenient to use. I like the coupons on line and ease of navigating the site. I would like to see more coupons for produce, meats and dairy. There’s so many for baby supplies and, laundry supplies. Our store doesn’t carry much for health & beauty items but there’s always coupons.

False advertising & Broken App
I love family fairs selection. However, imagine putting all these things on sale to lie about it actually being on sale. They’ll mark something that says “lowest price 8.99” but when you look under the sticker the original price will be 7.49. I only go and buy things on sale at family fare because it’s so expensive, but their sales would be great if they didn’t LIE. The app barely works, it freezes all the time and won’t load. It’s useless. When you go, look under the sales stickers to make sure it’s really a sale. They do a lot of false advertisement.

Love the app but some features need change!
I love FF and their app! It’s super easy to use and check things but for me to give it 5 stars some things need to change. I haven’t found a way to add notes under items like when using the computer. I add notes every single order so the app is useless then. Also I HATE how FF has changed how you pick up orders 3 times now. What was wrong with texting?? Now I gotta open an app which refreshes every time and it’s super tedious and annoying. Go back to texting to pick up orders!!

Works fairly good.
Would be 5 stars if they had some things like the ability to add to or edit an order up to the day of pickup. The app will show an item as on sale but when you want to buy it often times it’ll tell you it’s not on sale. If you choose to look at the weekly ad you can’t order from the add. You have to write down the item exactly then go to the pickup app and try to find it. Make a mistake you pay the going rate for what you selected.

Pretty Easy to Navigate
The Family Fare allows you to create an in-store shopping list or order groceries for pickup or delivery. You can shop just as you would in the store, including sales and coupons. Beyond that though. I just really like shopping with Family Fare, their staff is kind and helpful and for a smaller store hey carry a lot of brands including local.

Produce Dept looking great!
The last month or so in Rogers City the produce dept has been looking exceptionally good. Prices are still a little high, but we live in a town without much completion. It’s understandable. Very nice employees. I enjoy going to this location. Larry, the store manager, is a great guy. Always willing to go the extra mile to assist where needed.

Prices are ridiculous
I’ve always loved my local Family Fare and used it loyally until the prices because astronomical. Inflation is everywhere, but when Hornbacher’s is lower priced, that’s where I go for everyday shopping. I now only go to Family Fare for discounted items or coupons—and it still ends up costing what I’d pay elsewhere at regular price. I will never ever pay $8.00 for a box of cereal. It’s sad, because I used to love it.

Grateful for fast lane service.
I have recently needed to use fast lane. FamilyFare offers a great experience. Helpful friendly staff and timely service. Being COVID quarantined is difficult but thanks to everyone at FamilyFare it is tolerable. I look forward to being to able shop for ourselves but I am grateful for the fast lane service.

The app is amazing, anytime before going to the store I see if they have deals and makes shopping so much quicker and cheaper than clipping coupons or have the ring each coupon up. Love digital coupons

Fast lane
Fast lane is hard to do and slot of ad specials don’t show up. Like last week 2 friendly dessert cups and 2 deans ice cream did not give you the $4 off the ad promised. Also you should be able to shop ad flyer and put something in your art directly from the flyer. You need an actual shopper design the application not someone from corporate

Fast Lane
Thank you for the opportunity to shop from home. For me, I can choose the exact products I want without taking time to shop in the store. Since it’s important for me to be home for my husband, Fast Lane is perfect. I choose, they shop, I arrive, and they put my purchases in my car. I love it!

Release 6 is really really bad
Been using the fast lane app for 3 years and this release is a giant step backwards. It is almost unusable. Trying to search for products is so frustrating, start to type a few letters and it then goes off and starts searching. Takes at least a minute to search for an item, making the convenience of shopping via the app, not worth it. Would spend less time shopping in the store and would be more pleasant.

Awful Set Up Process
If you use your phone number for your yes card you have to call a toll free number for assistance to create a log in and hope someone is there to answer (or not in this situation). Easy choice to run with the pain free programs at the multiple competitors down the street. Perhaps, they caught me at a moment of frustration but this is the type of annoying unnecessary step that prevents customers from engaging with the app.

Love My Family Fare
Bellaire’s Family Fare has the nicest, most helpful employees. They are always available if I cannot find something or if I have any questions. Their beef tenderloin is always very delicious. Bakery has wonderful baked breads and pastries. And, the deli has fantastic chicken.

In order to search for an item in the store, one must go through the app and then select “Search” Also, items in the weekly add need to have a feature to add that item to a shopper’s shopping list

No grocery list!
The sort function is working better now — the meats are no longer listed under “dairy” or “deli”. There’s still room for improvement. Here’s the biggest complaint: There is no longer a grocery list of items selected from the weekly ad! Bad news! Don’t you test your programs?!?

Useful App
This app works well for viewing the weekly ad, locating store information (phone, hours, etc.), and for clipping digital coupons. I look forward seeing more functionality added to this app over time.

App Does Not Work with iPhone 11
I’ve reinstalled the app on my iPhone several times and each time it gets hung up on a page before I ever get to the shopping function of the app. The latest reinstall, I get a white screen when I open the app. I Can’t even get to the app support function to get help. Family Fare is the only grocery store near me (1 mile away) and I have to drive almost 10 miles to Meijer to get my groceries curbside because a health condition makes it risky to go into the store.

Glitchy
Not sure if it’s just having problems right now, but I cant seem to get into the app. I just registered for the first time, chose my store, and it took me through the first little tutorial thing, but I can’t go anywhere after that. I try to close out the app but then when I reopen I just get a blank screen that does nothing. Hopefully it starts working again soon, and if so I’ll adjust my rating. Until then, not a great first impression of the company’s technology.

Family Fare
I really enjoy shopping at FF Holland S. Side store but the web sight needs some work. Need to check out Meijer or Sam’s club web and try and make it better to search and view products and maybe work on scan and go option.

Old produce
Shocked at all the produce on the shelf that should be thrown. Would rather see an item out rather than see you trying to sell something rotten. Disgusting. This is why I don’t shop there often. Also have to watch the expiration dates in ALL departments. A friend of mine also took a picture of a brown & half dead Xmas wreaths you were trying to sell.

Move the help chat icon, please!!!!
The ? Icon that starts a chat is on the way of being able to change quantities in produces like bananas, or selecting amount and preference on sliced deli meat, and even on the way of browsing to the next page on certain screen. It’s a pain! Move it to the menu, leave nothing in front of the shopping items, please.

taking away the ability to see the next weeks ad on Saturday really frustrates me. also, not being able to search for prodcuts makes this app terrible. Meijer has a great app. I can see their following weeks ad on Saturdays and i can search products with in the app. If family fare wants to be comparable to other apps, they have a lot of work to do because this app is not that great.

Family Fare Review
This review page won’t let me push #4 star, not good, so not gonna push any star! My Family Fare store convenient but only reason go there. The store usually has what’s advertised so like that. But the store is dirty, grungy compared to other Family Fares in area. Shelves not stocked. Shop out of town often for those reasons. Whole store needs overhaul! Clean it up, certain would increase shoppers. Sorry, but try tell the truth.
