The Fancy Hands service itself is decent but I had a dickens of a time getting the app verified with my existing account. Deleted app and reinstalled several weeks later but even on second go around it never sent the code to my phone. Finally got the code via email. Another quirk: the verification entry screen has another red button at the bottom. But you can’t see what it is or get to it because the keyboard pops up and covers it up. No obvious way to minimize keyboard.
I’m still fairly new to the platform, but I’ve done about 5 tasks and every one has gone well. It’s so nice to be able to outsource small tasks. Regarding the app itself, it seems a little under-powered. My main wish is for push notifications when there has been progress on your task. Would encourage anyone interested in this service to start with the web version, which is more full-featured.
I’ve had experiences with different personal assistant services and haven’t come across anything better than Fancy Hands. The updated app makes it much more easier to offload my tasks *phew!*. Now I don’t have to run around so much being overwhelmed with my to-do list.
Worth every penny! Everyone should sign up for Fancy Hands. I work in the tech space and also as a private investor and time is very limited. This service is perfect for a busy professional. The assistants are amazing. Very attentive and fast turnaround time, as well as a high level of professionalism. One month in and I already feel like I can’t live without it!
Assistants are hit or miss, often taking many days to get back to you but alright for the price. The source of my review is that I have been triple charged three months in a row by the company and rather than help me resolve the issue their support team stopped responding to me.
FancyHands regularly fails to complete tasks and provides exceptionally poor customer service, especially regarding their recurring subscriptions. Don't waste your time with this service.
Can’t believe they can’t get an app together. They finally updated it, it finally works with Facebook and no option to connect to your account. My web account has tasks, my app sees none, it thinks I have a new account. The only thing I can gather is that they literally don’t want to invest even 500 dollars as a business to help their customers use their service. Would not reccomend Fancy hands as service solely based on this app problem.
Lots of bugs in standard use cases. For example: 1) When you edit words you’ve already typed, every letter turns on the caps lock. So to type without using all caps, you have to type a letter, turn off caps, type the next letter, turn off caps, repeat. 2) The billing screen has a bug that causes the “next billing date” to be in the past. Right now mine says “Next billing date: 11 days ago.”
After resolving some issues getting up and running wiht the app via FH support, I’m really enjoying the app and service. It’s life changing to be able to quickly outsource little tasks while staying focused on other work.
It's quite ridiculous that no matter which option I choose to log in I continue to get an error message. I was super thrilled to download fancy hands in hopes to get some help with my business. It's very frustrating that I can't even log in to proceed with the next steps to give a thorough review on the services fancy hands provide. It's also very awful that you are unable to create an account via email. Please fix.
Lots of bugs - can’t attach a pic in the app. can’t scroll when you type more text than fits on the screen. When you respond to an email, the app view is then useless because of all the garbage it puts in each message (the entire email history repeated over and over). The “next billing cycle” is always in the past instead of the future.
If I type a request that extends past the allotted space for typing, the Send button goes beneath the keyboard, which I can’t minimize, so I can’t submit the request. The app isn’t super useful to me if one of its core functions is impossible to complete if my request requires more than a sentence or two to describe.
I have the new 11 pro and I just barely downloaded the app. When I tap on the app to launch it shows the logo and crashes. Tried restarting my phone. Tried deleting and reinstalling the app. Nothing works. I was wondering why the 2 star rating for what should be a super simple app. Now I know ☹️
Their assistants are generally terrible and do not care, they will make you look like an idiot. App crashes constantly. And then Fancy Hands will overcharge you, as they did me (by over $300!) and then refuse to give your money back. Stay far far away from this. They are just collecting money from gullible people until they fold.
Heard about fancy hands on a website when I was looking for Apps to apply on for handyman work around the area, when I downloaded the app and tried to create an account, the home screen would not load, and wouldn’t send a email nor text to confirm me creating my account.
I login with Facebook on fancyhands.com and it works. When I try through the app, it logs me in and shows none of my request history. It doesn’t let me make a new request either. I’m an iOS developer — maybe update the Facebook SDK? Good luck! I’ve been hoping for an app for fancy hands and I’d love a usable one.
Fancy Hands is a personal assistant service. We've got a team of assistants ready to work for you today. Just tell us what to do and we'll have an actual human get it done for you. We've blended humans, artificial intelligence, and automation to ensure you're as productive as possible. This app has been rewritten from the ground up. It allows you to submit new requests, check up on old ones, message your assistant, see call and email activity, view attachments.
