I think the app is great! It definitely challenges you. If you’re looking to improve your skills in the game this app will do it! But there are two things it doesn’t do that most other game apps do. I just wish it had online playing so you could play against friends/family and/or strangers AND I wish they had multiplayer! Then I could play while with my friends/family right off the same phone. That would be awesome. Other than that no complaints. I mean, it’s free! How can we beat that!
Great game with solid controls. The AI on normal is brutal. Online doesn't work. Even still, I'd be willing to pay a fee to remove all ads. Maybe in a future update? Also, maybe support for taller screens and ways to challenge a friend.
For a free game you get what you pay for. No online player vs player. The walls are hard to select. Not covered with advertisements all the time and the AI is challenging. Would recommend to a friend.
Gameplay is fine, but no way to pay to stop ads. Also, I have to restart game after every ad plays because the ad never goes away. There is no option to close the ad no matter how long you wait for it to close.
AI was putting down multiple pieces and way over the 10 piece limit the player gets making this game broken and unplayable. Luke have been an amazing game
I try to tuch walls to drag them for several times but because of that they are smal I realy try more than FIVE times to drag them. I love Quoridor but this app drives me crazy so I deleted it.
Just played the real game yesterday. This seems to follow the board game accurately. Would be nice be able to choose an opponent in game center. No other live players yet.
Unexpectedly this game actually is a faithful digital port of Quoridor that worlds quite well with much better than expected AI, and local support. If you want to play Quoridor when you don't have the game or no one's around it's perfect. If you've never played it it's worth a shot as a game, but the physical copy comes as a primary recommendation.
Okay so the game is a little sketchy until you get used to it. When you win, the win/loose avatars stay on the screen even when a new game began so you have to go to the main screen and start from there. The graphics aren't that pretty but the game was functioning. Nowwwww ( I downloaded maybe 4 days ago) I'm getting a "fatal error" message after about 5 moves in each game. Don't know what happened but uninstalling; it was good while it lasted.
I played the physical version of this game over the holidays and loved it. The app version unfortunately has some problems. As another reviewer noted, the online player vs player does not work. Also, the bot is not very smart, even on the hard setting. There are many times that it could have laid a wall to block off it's retreat and for some reason it did not. Someone needs to take a look at the code. This game has a lot of potential, but right now it's only good against another human player.
"Fanmade Board For Quoridor" is a turn-based strategy board game. To win the game, you have to move your pawn to the opposite site faster than your opponent. Meanwhile, you can place the wall strategically to block your opponents, or to block a potentially offensive block. In this game, you can play with a second player or a computer AI. You can go through the how-to-play through the Help button to have a better understanding before getting started. There are 2 modes available: Normal and Hard. To allow you to have a better game analysis in the vs PC Mode(and to solve the wall misplacement), the Undo feature is added. An Online Challenge mode is available. But every move in the Online Challenge mode is required within 60 seconds. Kindly help us improve by rating us. Your feedback is highly appreciated. Important note: a) To move a pawn, simply tap the shadow. b) To move and place the wall, TOUCH and DRAG it at the same time b) You may only use Undo when it is your turn Disclaimer: This is a fanmade game based on Quoridor.
