Besides Festival Foods, being a great store with a wide variety of product and helpful and positive staff, online ordering has been a godsend and very intuitive with their app. I have an injury that prevents me from walking around the store. The employees communicate any substitutions, which are rare, and their positive attitudes are refreshing. I’m guessing (hoping) Festival knows the value of their employees and treats them well and in turn, they treat their customers well. Thank you!
Nice app in some ways but but I had a lot of trouble searching for produce. For example, I couldn’t find navel oranges; the search kept turning up orange flavored drinks and candy, etc., but no actual oranges. I had a lot of trouble with most of the produce that way. The app is also not quite intuitive/user-friendly. There’s some lack of smoothness, lack of confirmation that an item went into my cart (without actually stopping and going to check the car to make sure it got put in there), and it kicked me off in the middle of my shopping trip because it said my time expired even though I was still actively shopping... So there is still some work to do here. However, I do appreciate being able to shop online and pick up in the parking lot during the pandemic. Thank you for that.
I've learned to trust Festival for customer service. If they don’t have an item on my list in stock, they actually call and ask how they can make it right. Another product, or just a delete from the list. I can always get in the same day if I send my order in the morning. Those things are very important to me.
Easy to navigate . Easy to locate specials and coupons. Search function is normal. Vast majority of listings have accurate photos. Click N Go service is straightforward, competent, and friendly. They've never made a mistake with my order, items are rarely out of stock, and replacements offered are always appropriate.
I want to let you know that your grocery pick up staff and all staff to be honest are doing a fantastic job! My products are exactly what I request and the produce is always picked to perfection. Keep up the great work! You are truly appreciate! -Nichole A
The app works great but the picking needs some work. They need to check the dates on things and make sure things look fresh. When you pay a premium the meat should look fresh not be day old from the previous days unsold deli meat. The chips should be fresh not stale. Tired of getting the stuff they want to get rid of. There are other places to buy food.
The actual festival website nicely organizes my list by aisle. This is very helpful for organizing my shopping: if the list is organized I can get everything I need quickly without having to double back to an aisle I’ve already visited. The shopping list in the app doesn’t show the location, it doesn’t sort in any reasonable way, it just seems to be designed to order groceries for pick up.
The search process is inconsistent and not intuitive. Most disappointing is there is no way to print your list. Your only option is to place an order for pickup. Lastly, because i make out the shopping list and do the shopping, I no reason to use the option to email the list to myself
This app and option is great for the life of busy families!!!! They text you when something you order isnt available with different options. This is SLICK
There have been a few times that I have searched for items on the app that I know are in my local store but cannot find them. It’s been rare and for less common things but still a little annoying
I made a list from the weekly ad, then added some items while “browsing the aisles.” I saved the list, and when I went back, the list had gone from 14 items to 5. In addition, I need to zoom in to read, and the app kept closing the ad, and going to the home page. I redid my entire list, and submitted for pickup. List completed Monday morning. Sale ends Tuesday, but I can’t pick up until Saturday, at the earliest. WOW! “Browse the Aisles” is a joke! It’s a hodgepodge of items, rather than being based on an actual orderly layout of store, by department. At least make the app a functional shopping list. How hard is that? Don’t get me wrong. I love Festival Foods, but hate the app.
Festival foods has made grocery shopping during these trying times very easy for us seniors. The selections of foods is amazing and the curbside pickup is a breeze. Thankyou Festival foods.
Coupons are not accepted when ordering online for curbside pickup. They would not even accept Festival coupons that were mailed to me. After three curbside orders, Festival charges a fee for curbside pickup. I always enjoyed shopping in the store but the curbside services fall way short compared to other area stores.
Needs to be able to sort into departments, if not aisles, and maybe alphabetically. Also needs to carry a list across devices for the same account — that or lists aren’t showing on an iPhone at all. The list is there - I can rename it. It just isn’t showing up
This app makes it nice to shop online at Festival Foods. Some improvements could be made on organizing favorites by category and making the search feature easier to find the product you desire.
The search is clumsy and sometimes can’t find simple things. It’d be nice to also see a list of everything I’ve ever order and not a by-order view, just every item in one view. Pickup service is good.
Search functionality for items could be improved- Also appears not all deli items are available. Also should not have a $5 pickup charge. Good pickup time options.
I I looked everywhere on the website to see if there was a fee. None mentioned except the $5 provisional hold. It’s not until ou get to the check out that you see the fee. That’s just wrong.
I’m still not sure if my card is going to be charged the Provisional Charge and Festval charges almost as much if we pick up the groceries as Pick N Save charges to deliver to our door.
