I’ve banked at Fibre for 19 years and Within that time frame I’ve only had two complaints. 1. I didn’t feel I should be charged $30 to stop a transaction, that seems a little ridiculous and 2. I’m limited to 6 mobile transactions and then I need to come in. One of the points of having this is to make things more accessible, easier and less of a hassle. 🤷🏻♀️ however I have to say that only having two complaints in 19 years of banking with Fibre is pretty dang good.
I absolutely love The app and the convenience!! I have gone into the bank before when it was not working... realizing how convenient it was when it worked! I Love being able to deposit my check, check transactions, transfer money without even having to come in. It saves time and allows more time for me for other things!! BUT it has been very difficult... it works sometimes but I would say more than half of the time it doesn’t. I will go to check what I have in there or deposit check or just account balance so I don’t go over.. or just to transfer to pay another account.... and it doesn’t work! Very frustrating. I will have to wait until the app is up again which can take days and as some things are time sensitive this is not so convenient... would love it even more if it works!!!!
After 45 years with Bank of America, never getting any perks are being able to reach them easily, we recently switched to FFCU. What a difference! Always able to talk with a person, and a friendly person at that! We’ve successfully refinanced our car and RV, as well as our home. Everything has been super smooth sailing! We can’t say enough good things about FF see you and look forward to years of working with them.
I enjoy the kind people who work for Fiber Federal. I have never had problems talking to anyone who work the bank. I enjoy knowing I have had fiber federal since I was in Elementary school. It seriously keeps one less stress in my life. Thank you for the security and integrity in all you do and train your employees. I also appreciate those who are good at math and good with people.
Every time I log on , not to mention ,it takes longer for me than the old site. I thought it was my internet, until I tried it elsewhere. Anyway when I log in it keeps taking me to bill pay first. I have tried deleting site and downloading it again, obviously to no avail. The frustration is mounting and if I didn’t have so much linked to my account, I’d probably bail. By the other reviews I appear to be the only one with this problem. Oh and BTW this complaining has nothing to do with the personnel or the bank itself, just looking for a resolution. Any ideas ?? Thank you in advance.
The app often malfunctions. Often times I will get error messages saying the servers are busy, proxy error, or an unexpected error has occurred. On top of that, the app is poorly designed from a visual perspective. The layout is difficult to manage and many of the buttons lead to outside links.
I am never able to deposit a check without being logged out no less than 3 times! I am always attempting to take the picture of the check and it tells me that it times out! Every time!! I have never been able to deposit a check on the first try!!!!!
You would think that with longevity with a financial institution they would have you covered with no fees if you decided to cancel a transaction that is I question! It goes to show just how much they believe in there long term customers! That’s really unfortunate that’s for the heads up not to bank with this institution!
Fibre Federal Credit Union has helped myself and my family with our financial needs. The staff are always friendly, knowledgeable, and always go above and beyond to meet our needs. Thank you for all you do! You just don’t see this level of great customer service anywhere else! Deborah
They finally updated the app and this version is everything I hoped for! If you ever tried to use their old version and weren’t happy with it, trust me and give this one a chance. I called and they helped me set it up quickly, and I’ve had no issues. It has made my life so much easier.
The new app is a big improvement over the old one. When signing in it on my phone the dialog box was so small on the old application that I couldn’t see if I was typing correctly or not. This one is larger and easier to see. The new app also supports fingerprint ID making logging in by typing unnecessary.
I can’t access my accounts easily like I used to. Ever since I updated it, it crashes on login. I have to use web browsers anytime I want to view my accounts or transfers. Super inconvenient. I even updated my IOS to the most recent version to see if that would fix it, and still crashes on login every time, even after multiple reinstalls.
So glad I picked the best credit union to fulfill all my banking needs and the Mobil deposit is a blessing since I work all over I can do all my banking needs from the app . And I was able to close all other banking accounts and just use fibre
I like the concept and from the beginning the app worked really good. From about 2019 the app has had a lot of glitches in it to where you become very frustrated. They are very supportive when you call and I have never waited very long.
This app upgrade has a serious bug. It has review and payment reminder pop ups that freeze the entire thing and there is no way to exit. Then you have to login to the full website to do anything. Ugggg
Usually I can get into the app easily but the past few times I have tried to get in, it continues to show me the 3 little dots showing that it’s loading but it does that continuously. My wifi connection is perfectly fine, it’s the app
