I love everything about this Bank! They know you by name and make sure to call you by name when you go in. They have free checking options and allow you to open more than one account without extra fees. The mobile app and website is super user-friendly and I like the ability to be able to move money back-and-forth between personal and business accounts.
I’ve been with this bank for several years now and it’s the best banking experience I’ve ever had. The service is great and the employees are awesome with their knowledge and willingness to help you have a good experience. This bank is about respect and treating people right. I just can’t say enough good things about the Shelby,NC office and the online assistance.
This app worked okay when I first downloaded it about 6 months ago. It was a little buggy but still worked. It is the most basic app that I have so I would expect it to function without too many issues, but in the last few months it stopped loading from time to time and now it will not load at all. I have a white screen when I click the app and if I wait too long it acts like it’s freezing my phone. I keep a really close eye on all of my bank accounts so this is REALLY annoying. I have an iPhone 11 and none of my other apps are having any issues. Just this one.
I like the bank but this mobile app needs to get updated! I’m used to having a touchscreen login from my old bank which makes this process a lot easier. Also, on my phone the place I have to put in the password is half covered up with a keyboard screen and I have to be very careful otherwise when I try to type in the password otherwise I get an error.
I enjoy using this app just wish it wouldn’t keep turning off the fingerprint login. I have set it up over and over again. It’ll work maybe two times then I have to start all over with the full login. Other than that it’s great.
Purchases affect available balance hours/days after purchase making me believe I have more money in my account which leads to outrageous overdraft charges even though when I signed up for a checking account, I stated I wanted to have the purchase be declined instead of going in the negative & accumulating overdraft fees. Horrible app/horrible bank.
A company with as much money as fidelity should keep their app working as well as a local credit union. Over the past few months the app has been down considerably and for a large bank that is condensing offices they should have better online presence and presentation.
Just read article about FBI alert for ATM heist affecting small banks. Fidelity needs to incorporate more security features with Mobile/PC access. For instance, generate a a text passcode for additional security.
App is bugged? Save user is function not working, have to answer security ? Every time, check the terms and conditions every time.. too much just to log in... I have deleted the app and reinstalled 4 times now. Same thing..
This app goes down every other day. If I could give it less than one star, I would. As soon as I am able to, I will be cancelling my account with fidelity and moving to a bank that uses technology from AT LEAST the 1990s.
As with other reviewers, the mobile deposit function stopped working with the most recent update. As this function was one of the main reasons I chose this bank over another, I am very disappointed. Hopefully this will be fixed soon, although it has already been over a week with no fix...
This is a decent app and does everything it is supposed to however the features in the app pale compared to similar banking apps. Even just a fingerprint authentication would make this a much better app. ...Of course it is free...
The mobile deposit that I loved so dearly is now no longer working. I loved the ability to mobile deposit checks since I travel constantly. The instant balance is okay nothing to fancy and I would rather go back to the old version to get my mobile deposit back.
