Great bank - app convenient and easy to use

My husband has a business account with this bank and we also have a CD. The app has been really easy to check our balance and link to our other accounts for quick transfers. All the features I would expect from my bank.

Frustrating to log in

I was able to log onto the app when it first launched in December 2021. However, when I try to log on now, after I click submit to allow them to verify my identity (ask me questions), a failure processing request notice keeps popping up. I’ve restarted my phone, deleted the app & re-downloaded it many times, and the issue continues to persist. I know that I am inputting the right password since I’m able to log on my laptop and mobile browsers (Chrome & Safari). Not sure if this is a bug that needs to be fixed but I would love to see the devs address this & I would be happy to change my review. Until then, the app is useless for me since it won’t let me access my account.

Oops! Something went wrong

“Oops! something went wrong, A system error has occurred. Please try again later” When I login it says I have to answer security questions. The app is useless and I’ve not been able to login for maybe a year at this point. I have to use the website to do anything. It’s lame and I’ll probably ditch this bank entirely since they don’t take their tech/app seriously. Edit Here we go again, can’t login. It was actually working for a month or so, and now with the latest update it goes into a security question loop ending with cannot login. Update - it’s been years. I decided to download the app and try again. Same exact problem. It does not work still.

Good app but..

I like this bank. This app is simple and does what it’s supposed to do but lately it is very unpredictable. I have to keep linking my outside accounts. Currently it is duplicating my accounts. Now I have 3 savings and 3 checking accounts. I hide them but keep coming back. I transferred money through Zelle from another back to FF but it doesn’t show as even been received. I even got the email from FF confirming the deposit. GET IT TOGETHER FFB.

User Friendly!

Love this app, easy to use. Awesome on the go features: like the deposit checks on the go feature and being able to check on my accounts so easily!

No access after depositing funds

After depositing money into an online savings account, my account was inaccessible via the app or the website. I was presented with different error messages: The app said it was unable to validate my information; the website said they are having technical issues. I’d suggest that before you create an online savings account with first foundation, you consider whether either (or both) of those scenarios would be OK with you when dealing with an exclusively online account.

Intermittent Access

I have had FF mobile app ever since they bought my local community bank and I have not had the consistency in performance that I was used to. I have had to call customer service more times in the past two years to get access compared to zero issues on the prior app. The app itself is basic, with the most disappointing feature being the fingerprint recognition only being available a third of the times I have logged in.

Great new interface

The new version is a welcomed enhancement! Intuitive navigation and more analysis data about my account trends. Smooth process transitioning to the newer version.

Okay, but could be better.

I like this app and the bank. I didn’t give it 5 Stars because it doesn’t show the current savings account interest rate within the app. This would be a really nice feature. Please add in a future update.

Very bad customer service

Give a second try after left the bank a year ago, but customer service is still bad. They don’t answer email. When call customer service, have to wait a long time. Leave a number for call back which they never call back. Very bad bad. Closing my account again.

Havent been able to login since update

Tried logging in with credentials and won’t allow me to access my account. Now I’m locked out. Never had this problem before but had other issues with the app. Contemplating on moving my money to a bank with better technology.

Many problems

Plagued with problems often cannot log on. Doesn’t read symbols well. Very frustrating when making mobile deposits

Super limited app

Some examples, I can’t check interest rate, the transfer history does not list any transactions that were completed the last 30 days, can’t check pending deposits. The only thing I use this app is to check balance.

Lousy app

This app is constantly going down and malfunctioning. I am so tired of not being able to check my account when I need to. What’s even worse is the website goes down often too.

What worse, the app or the Bank?

App does not work, stays in a complete loop. Bank managers shrug their shoulders and say their sorry! Wait a few days it should work soon…..that’s the banks solution I kid you not!

Latest Update Crashed Log-In

The latest update to this application (today) does not allow me to log in. It asks to receive text confirmation code and then crashes.
