Can’t login

I just downloaded the app because I signed up for the rewards program in the store and was told I would get extra points for signing in for the first time. First, I tried creating an account through the app. The “create account” button didn’t work; I tried multiple times. So, I went online to create my account. I thought I would be able to sign in after that. Nope. The “sign in” button doesn’t work either. I even tried deleting the app and redownloading it. I haven’t tried any of the apps other features.

Fleet Farm is great. The app not so much.

This app has been marginal in effectiveness. When it works it is nice to have but I find it doesn’t work more often than it does. The search often comes up with no results when I know they carry the item I am looking for. I like the feature of my purchases being recorded but access to it is not always available because of the ineffective ability to launch the app. I’m hopeful they will resolve the many issues they have because I am a Fleet Farm fan and apps can be so helpful.

No longer useful

Ever since updating, I am no longer able to access the Fleet Farm mobile website on my phone. When I try to visit the website it automatically switches to my app. As the functionality of the app is lacking, this creates major issues. So much so, that I started ordering construction supplies through other nearby retailers who offer more convenient ordering.

App is awful

I have been a faithful fleet farm customer for many years but I will say I have been steering away. I like to “preshop” online before I go out to stores. The app is not helpful at all. I search items and nothing is ever found. I just did a search for 5w30 motor oil and it only came up with Ariens 4 cycle and Citgo. Not worth my time anymore.

Does anything in this app work?

Seems pretty clear no one that built this app has ever actually used it. Newest release, you can’t even click the login button, and most of the app requires you to be logged in. But since the beginning, if you are in the ad and click “shop now” you can’t get back to where you were in the ad without starting over. Search is frustrating. It will happily find misspellings of the search work but not contractions of it. And even if you find something similar, there is no way to browse other products in the category it’s in. Or even know what category it’s in. Which is odd, because you can browse by category, but good luck guessing on some odd products if it’s under home and garden , automotive, power sports, farm to start with. Update: despite the developer responding that the login issue is fixed in 1.7.1….it isn’t. Second update: on a hunch I turned on notifications and can log in. Turn off notifications and I can log in. That’s a big NO on notifications. I don’t need every app interrupting me all the time so they are off unless *I* want them on. I’ll keep the 1 star until you can figure out how a shopping app can work with notifications off.

App should not have been released yet

Many great potential features but many don’t work,,,yet. Have been offing via online for years and it works great. Now using the app my name shows up as the store name and they have difficulty getting me my in store pickup order. In addition, I placed another order using the app and all looked good, even confirmation email. Then after 8 hours of no email update I went on the app to see it was cancelled for some reason.,, no notification,,, nothing. I then replace the order using the old method of online and it worked great, OneDrive ready in 2 hours. My recommendation, until they fix the app glitches us it for research but place your order using their web page.

Nice Experience

Nice shopping experience. Web APP doesn’t always work until after it is worked with for a while. Don’t know why. Could be the pages are busy, but a person does have to work with it a bit to get it to react. But FF always has a great selection to choose from. We especially value and appreciate being able to order on line and pick up in yard, since both my wife and I are disabled and cannot go into store! Thank you for making it attainable!’

Can’t login

The cashier at the store really sold it and said it was super easy; I filled out all the info in the create account but the submitting button won’t activate you click it but nothing happens. So I went online and created my account that way then tried to use the login and the same thing happened the login button won’t work. Apparently the update a few days ago didn’t work because I tried deleting and redownloading the app and it still doesn’t work.

Get with the times!!!!

Literally the worst shopping app. The search tool is beyond useless. Every search I have done in this app has come up with either nothing at all or a list of items unrelated to what I’m looking for. Like many others, I shop around online before I make any large purchases. Fleet Farm, you are literally making me not want to shop at your store. I imagine you’ve already lost a significant amount of sales. Do yourselves a favor and invest in improving your search function. Also, every time I open the app, it resets “my store” location, and it’s very cumbersome to have to change it every time. Come on Fleet Farm, I know you can do better!

Worthless. Keeps asking for cvv but offers no place to enter

App must be from the same lousy agency as the website. Keyword strategy is non- existent, you can search the title/product name used in the ad a get 0 results. Has anyone actually been able to check out with this app? Keeps saying I have to enter the cvv, but never shows a place to do so. Re enter the card like I’m adding a new card including the cvv. Just says you need to enter it again. The group needs some serious tech help. Always 10 steps behind. Capital investment groups always seem to destroy what they buy—

App could use some work

The app is pretty bloated as far as apps go. Lots of data behind the scenes and takes a long time to process requests, especially messages sent to user accounts. Filter by home store is a function that doesn’t really work at all, rendering it useless. It also displays all inventory regardless of whether or not it’s in stock, so that’s another incredibly unhelpful/ actively reductive aspect. I’d like to use it more and actually find things that I need or want, but unfortunately it’s much easier to go to the store and do things the old fashioned way.

Deceiving

The cashier got me to sign up when buying a riding lawnmower. Seemed like a good idea to get some points. Came back a couple of days later and bought a leaf blower and tried to use the points. Was told by the cashier that I could only use $5 of discount at the time even though she could see I had about $70. Fine. So I came back today to use them up and was told my points are gone and I have $5 in my rewards. This store is a joke how it’s run. Took them an hour to find my mower when I went in back to pick it up too. I spent about $4,000 in the last two weeks and get $10 worth of rewards.

Just deleted & reinstalled

I did a review about a week ago…was having same log in issues most everyone else was. Once I heard from developers & saw a fix was done I deleted the app, waited a few minutes, reloaded the app…and presto I could create an account, see my rewards & shop. Have not tried the checking in while at my local store yet…I see that’s been a problem fir some folks with latest fix!!

Mobile app

I tried ordering a product from my app today and it wouldn’t give me the $100 promo coupon that was on at that time. I had to call customer service to order it for me. I logged into my app to get my points and it would log me in. I keeps saying that i don’t exist. I tried to reset my password and it says my email didn’t exist even though it is the only email I have. I tried to create a new account and it told me that someone already had my one number. Duh that would be me but it won’t let me log in!! Now I lost all my points and rewards that I had.

Not very useful

The main problem is you can’t purchase directly from the weekly flyer with the app unless you search for each item mentioned in the flyer you want to buy and then purchase it. On the positive, it is more informative than the web site on its descriptions of items. Other than that I would have deleted it by now, it is useless otherwise. So in summation, it compensates slightly for the deficiencies of the website. 2 wrongs making a right?

App not working…

I signed up as I am excited to see the new Hastings store - I selected the Hastings store as my primary choice - it started to load then got a message “ Alert - null is not an object (evaluation ‘t.time)”. When I close the app and re open - same screen pops up and shows nothing and will not do anything….

Rewards Card Taunting Me

So there I was wanting to pull up my rewards card through the app by clicking on the green bar “SHOW MY FLEET REWARDS CARD.” Nothing. Still nothing. It doesn’t seem to be a clickable feature. It’s just there to taunt you and toy with your sanity. I’m guessing it’s sole purpose is to make you look like an idiot and mock you. If developers actually read this review, it would also be nice to actually pull up my card and be able to add the card to my wallet (iPhone).

Not really user friendly

The app works alright now but it would be nice to have a filter that can filter everything that’s out of stock in the store. After the update every time I go to look at the gun category it says no records found so that’s frustrating because it works on the website. It also bugged out with the rewards. I got one rewards and then logged me out and set me back to zero. I got another rewards but was never sent the gift card.

Not user friendly

I have been trying to change who can pick up my order I put the person’s information in. When I go to confirm everything before placing the order it still shows me as the pick up person. Fleet Farm will only allow allow the person listed to pick up the order. I tried calling to get help but they could not help me. It would be convenient if it actually worked properly.

Really frustrating UX

Obviously Fleet Farm is the greatest retail establishment in existence, but the app does not do it any justice. The app don’t seem to properly save preferences like your profile or preferred store. The most frustrating thing for me however is that there is an EXTREMELY sensitive ‘back’ gesture if you swipe slightly to the right when scrolling products, so much so that it will exit the page just from the natural right curve of your right thumb while scrolling.

Worst navigation by bait app. Why can’t you just for example have flicker minnow as one search and then choose the color in the order section. You have to page through every color separately. Waste of time. Also when you go to check out and you are logged in, you still have to enter all your info again. Wait one more thing, it never saves your home store. I live in Wisconsin and it always changes it to Sioux City. Never been there…this needs some help!!!

Useable, but lots of room for improvement

The app itself is nice, but navigating through the app is pretty finicky… scrolling up/down sometimes takes you back (as if you perform a erigjt-to-left swipe) and there isn’t a way to give feedback without going through the App Store review process. The filters also don’t work correctly or consistently… and the in-store availability NEVER works in the app but does on the website. JUST GO TO A HYBRID APP!

Can’t “Check-in”

Downloaded the app but cannot check-in when in store. All other parts of the app work but when I click “check-in” I can enter my login name and password but that’s where it stops. It will not log-in. I can click and enter all other parts of the app except that one. What a disappointment. Fleet Farm is slowly declining since the sale. More and more items missing from shelves and less options.

The sign in button and create an account still not working. This is useless! This problem was fixed rather quickly and I can now access the app. I haven’t looked at everything, but what I have works well. A much better experience than I had at first.

Bug!

Every time I try to access the app, I get a pop up message telling me there’s a poor network connection. This just started out of nowhere. I have no problems with any other apps or functions on my phone.

Most buggy app ever

I do a lot of purchasing through apps and then picking items up or having them delivered. So I can say this after using a lot of different apps, this is the WORST one I have ever used. The search function rarely works, payment is always full of bugs and issues, and it is not intuitive to use. Find a new dev team and ask for your memory back because the developers did a terrible job building this one.

Finally started working

Version 1.8.2 I can log in now and the functions I have tried are working. It sure took a long time to get this far with this app. Maybe a better rating when I've had more time to use the app. Update: I thought this was going to be good. Now the check-in function only works if you are in the a store and on the unsecure in-store Wi-Fi connection.

Great app!

I love the look of the new app, great job to those that out it together! I like the rewards point tracking and I found a hammock that I’m going to go grab tomorrow after work. It’s rare to see a new app that just works, and this is one that does :)

Fix the rewards

App is alright other than anytime I click rewards a pop up with gibberish pops up then freezes the app. Have done all the updates, deleted and reinstalled the app multiple times and it still has the issue. I’ve called customer service numerous times about it and they never get back to me and don’t fix the issue. Hopefully it’s fixed before a year of starting so I don’t lose my rewards.

App still doesn’t work

Looks like I’ll be signing in through google now. App doesn’t work I still can’t log in right after I did the update. I even tried deleting the app and re downloading it but nothing. I thought maybe it was me so I hoped on google and went that way. I was able to log in a few seconds after I hit sign in. It’s definitely the app. They need to come out with a new one and take more time in development.

Love Fleet farm

We come to Minnesota every year to see my parents and fish at their cabin. The first thing I do, before seeing my parents, is stop at Fleet Farm! Sure my parents are in their ‘90’s, but plenty of time to talk weather with them. Fleet Farm can’t wait! It’s magical…

Can’t get it to work …

I’ve installed, attempted to sign in multiple times with my previously established account, attempted to establish a new account, uninstalled and reinstalled the App several times, repeated the sign-in process all with NO success at accessing my account (or the store as a “Guest”). Turned off my phone, turned it back on, reset … everything that one would assume would take care of a “glitch.” Worthless App in my humble opinion.

Not all Categories have products

Many of the categories do not have any product for sale. I also received many error codes on the app that I did not receive on the desktop website.

Don’t waste your time

And the only reason I’m wasting my time writing this is because I had 30 minutes before work… why not check out FF weekly ad…? I still have 20 minutes, so why not vent. While viewing the ad, the items won’t open. Really? If someone is interested in researching the items, don’t bother. Frustrating for sure so all that is left … vent. Thanks for the reminder of the distaste for tech.

Worst App Compared to what other store have

Fleet farm should sit down with all the developers for their app and website and fire them all in the spot. You go into the app and have to reset your “store” every time. It’s crashes when you scan a UPC most times. The inventory is never correct when it’s says something is available in store. Call John Menard and use their app and website people.

Horribly frustrating app

Adding items to your cart shouldn’t be difficult! Removing items from lists but then I look and there still on it after trying several times. Product descriptions need more care and pictures of items you can’t zoom at all! Love the store, the app not so much!

Cannot sign in

This app is rendered almost completely useless for me as a rewards member because I cannot sign in or create an account. The final buttons- both “sign in” & “create account” are broken and do nothing but sightly change color when tapped. I used my computer to create an account and will have to use it to conduct account business until the app is fixed

Worst search engine ever made.

Fleet farm’s website and App have thee WORST search engine I’ve ever used. You’ll never find what you’re looking for unless you already bought the product and know what niche descriptive word to type in. Even then, most the time, it won’t show up. It can be something as simple as horse oats and FF pretends it doesn’t exist and you’re an idiot for asking. Thumbs down.

Fleet Farm app

I downloaded the Fleet Farm app, created an account. Then it asked me to sign in, and I get a message saying the email account and password does not match. When I click on “forgot password “ it takes me to a screen to put in my email address, we’ll there is no way to put in the email address because the keyboard does not come up to type it in. This app is useless.

Mostly a waste of time

Serious login issues, works one out ten times. Use the website works every time makes this app a total waste. If you ever get logged in in app you can’t navigate without struggles. I have deleted and downloaded several times even after so called fixes still has the same issues. Waste of time and space on device.

Don’t bother

Don’t even bother, the functionality is terrible. For starters, you can’t log in. The button does absolutely nothing when tapped. S, it’s back to the website until the dev does their job and releases a bug fix for this major bug. The last update didn’t do anything to fix it.

Buggy

At least the app doesn’t crash now when you barcode scan a product, but the barcode scanner doesn’t work. You can manually enter in the barcode and that works. That used to crash the app too. Overall the app is poorly tested.

App doesn’t work

I signed up for Fleet Farm rewards and if offered me extra points if I downloaded the App and created an account. I was able to creat an account from their website but their app doesn’t work. I couldn’t creat an affront their so I did on the website. I then tried to sign into the App and it still won’t work. So I deleted it. It’s pointless to have if it won’t work.

App won’t let you create an account

I signed up in the store for the loyalty program with my phone number, and was told to download the app to create an account and tie my phone number to it. Tried three times but kept getting an error message saying my phone number was already in use with an account. Waste of time - deleted the app.

Buttons don’t work

Just downloaded the app and tried to create an account. Entered my info and the create button doesn’t work. Sign in same thing. Sign in button works when email and password are empty- gives an error message. Useless!

Please fix the scrolling!

The app is generally good except for the fact that it changes pages (to the previous page) if you are scrolling down and your finger moves the slightest bit to the side as you scroll down.

Disappointed

This app was great and convenient , when I could actually sign in. I have tried to sign in for a few days now, even tried deleting the app to re-download it. I’m not sure what is going on, but after email and password are entered I cannot click sign in button. I hope you fix this ASAP!
