I am not touching this app until it fixes itself A LOT

This app just became available in my city and I found many many faults with it so far, which I have directly emailed to support (which I had to go to their website to find: 1. Even after I changed my age preferences I still get people well outside my age preferences show up 2. The link to contact support does not work AT ALL and as mentioned before you have to go on their site to do so, who knows if theyll actually get back to me. 3. All the links for terms of service and community guidelines all lead to 404 pages 4. Lastly, this is minimal but obnoxious, on my profile it is supposed to show my horoscope, but it shows the incorrect horoscope (the month before) and there is no way to change it .

I was looking forward to this app :(

So I got this app months ago, and I knew it was brand new so I didn’t sweat the obvious lack of everything. However, it’s really annoying that it is still just a sad app that barely works. I cant have a set location for people, I can only go thru people’s profiles a certain number of times, and 90% of people’s profiles have absolutely nothing! I really wanted this app to be different; as a queer non-binary person, I was super excited to have a dating app that was made for people like me. I’m going to remain hopeful, but I’m still super disappointed this app isn’t fully fleshed out STILL.

Impossible to use

I can’t change my location despite moving and post one of the updates, now I see people from all over the world who aren’t even feasible matches. I’ve not matched with a single person, which makes me think the same is happening on the other end. Cannot reach anyone in support. Had such high hopes for a beautiful, happy site where everyone can just be themselves but it’s just such a letdown. I truly don’t even know why I’m bothering writing this review at this point.

Location Issues

I set up everything and the age ranges but when I went to put the location range it’s nowhere to be found. All I get are people hundreds of miles away from me. Also, I keep getting notifications that someone has liked me but I’m unable to find out who or a “liked you” section anywhere.

Poorly built and ripped off

Rebel Wilson used their celebrity to rip off our label free dating app Bindr. We launched last August and even with all their money and fame, we somehow made a better app. Lol. They’re out of touch with the community, the queer community deserves a better app than this. I guess this is why app development should be left to the developers and not celebrities. Just an FYI, this app doesn’t have a location filter because it doesn’t have enough users.

Pretty useless so far.

First off I had to wait until “it was available in my city” to even use it. And since it’s come online all it’s done is show me potentials that are hundreds and sometimes thousands of miles away! So why did I even have to wait for it to be open in my city if you’re not going to show me matches in my actual city? Can you get some basic search filters going? It’s useless in its current state.

Nice idea but…

Now that it’s “available” I’m trying to understand how it works… or how it’s supposed to work. Should there not be a way to see who you said maybe or yes to? How about a way to see who likes me? Is there a way to communicate? The app feels unfinished. You can’t even see full bios or full pics. There needs to be a way to expand these.

As an ethical ux/ui designer, do better

Please don’t ask people to upload a photo before they get to know if fluid is in their area or not. Can make people feel icky about your intentions with that info. Also, ethically, just be upfront and honest about it in the first place - let people see if it’s in their area - and then let them decide if we want to give you our info. Despite that - I really do hope this app lives up to your audience! I look forward to trying it:)

I love that this is the ONLY app where you don’t have to label your sexuality. You can just be YOU! It’s the modern way to look at sexuality!

Doesn’t work in my area after giving private information

Asked for a lot of private information only to find out it doesn’t work. Bad form, would like to delete info, but all option are now gone…. Update: They sent a mediocre canned response months later.

This app is trash, shout-out to rebel Wilson for putting me on to her garbage service that literally doesn’t work at all. Can’t even see who’s in my area on the app either … just terrible.

Perfectly Pitched app has huge potential but no where near launch ready

As she described her new app on The Daily Show, Co-developer Rebel Wilson had me hooked on her new app called Fluid. It’s not necessarily a dating app because it’s focus is on connections; not on labels. Curious: the version I downloaded showed 2 weeks worth of 5 “ minor fixes :)”. Curiouser: the app I downloaded was called Fluid “preview” . Curiouser & curiouser: first time I tried to sign up, the app froze after my birthday info; the second time was after I was asked to name my friends! Duh…no way. I’m still locked on to that screen, still waiting for the developer to get rid of all the bugs. And as I wait, I’m getting curiouser & curiouser & curiouser about the potential connections to be found.

The idea is nice but can’t get past invite your friend

I know that’s not a bug but it means it’s not in your city yet, but I think you should say it somewhere on the page because it only looks like a bug and makes people frustrated

Might have potential …

Why is this app available when it is inoperable? As others stated, you other can’t get past the “invite friends” screen or “not yet available” screen. I don’t want to invite my friends, mostly because I feel like that would be an awkward thing to do. Most of my single friends are single by choice now, and pretty sure most of my friends in general are not actively expanding their social group. So, yeah, this *might* have potential …

Can’t sign up :(

On the Daily show they pitched this app which sounds wonderful, but like everyone else has said, I can’t even sign up. I hit the sign up, put in my phone number, it takes me to recaptcha (make sure I am not a robot) and then when I click the pics to show I am not a robot, it takes me to a blank page ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Phishing site - scam

Don’t enter the registration information as the site won’t allow you to pass “invite friends “ option. Which on the App Store suggests- not in the area. People are joining the app to meet friends and not to invite them to your site for free. Scammers. Now you have the name, phone number and my DOB and I can’t delete. Your app should be BANNED!!!

I saw Rebel on the Daily Show and was excited to download the app. After signing up I was told the app was “Coming to your city soon” and asked to invite friends. Wish they’d figured this out before putting the app out there! No point in using it.

Extremely Disappointed

I’ve been looking for a dating app that was like this for a while. I’m looking for connection rather than labels. But when I downloaded it, I got to the “invite friends” screen and cannot get past it. Sad.

Can’t create an account

I just tried to create an account and it won’t let me enter my DOB, it keeps telling its not a valid date…. I’m positive I k ow my birthday and there was not one way to enter it, I did it several times and it’s stuck there.

Goes to an appointment blank webpage after I enter the security code

This app has been sitting at invite friends for over a month. Are they ever going to actually make it work? I’m really excited about the idea of this app but unfortunately until it’s working, I don’t have anything good to say Update: I’m no longer sitting, invite friends. When I open the app, it asked to create an account or to login it doesn’t matter which one I choose. The next screen is enter my phone number after I do that, it sends me a security code. After I enter my security code. It goes nowhere.

Awful roll out

I’m not sure where this app is available. It seems like no one who downloaded the app knew it wasn’t available in their area. (I thought for sure it would be available in my area, i live in a large progressive city.) The app rollout should’ve been more transparent about where the service is available. I’ve now given my information to this app and didn’t even get to use it… feels really dishonest. Sounded cool in theory but in practice it just was too good to be true. :/ I’ll be uninstalling, unfortunately. Maybe in a year I’ll try it again when it’s ready to go. The app should ask for your area code FIRST before asking for any personal info. That’s an easy fix.
