I love having this app at the festival, it's great to navigate through the whole thing with this and building a schedule with reminders built in is super convenient. I've gone multiple times and the times I've gone with the app have been considerably better, never missing a show and never being confused about when and where things are happening. That being said, I wish the app would update its line-up earlier. It's only a couple weeks before forecastle and the app still appears exactly as it did last festival.
The important things like the schedule look accurate, but whoever imported the retailers and vendors made absolutely no effort to put them in the correct places. For example there are hammock stores listed under food and be beverage and pizza vendors on the retai section. This app is basically the Bonnaroo app and seems to work well, but the forecastle people didn't put as much effort into inputting information correctly. There are no menus for the food vendors.
This year will be my third year going to forecastle. The app is glitchy at best, and lots of errors within the app (like another reviewer said, it’s clear that not much effort was put into accuracy); although I used it mostly for the schedule which was really helpful. BUT why are we almost in June and the app still has last year’s information?? This is a popular enough festival, I don’t know why someone isn’t on top of this.
I haven't used the vendor tools yet, but the band scheduling and updates (saturday rain delays changed the whole schedule, for example, but the time slots were updated) are very easy to use, with multiple views of the lineup.
