Great Customer Support
I cannot be grateful enough, for the amazing customer service and support I received during Covid pandemic! I’m sure there were sooooo many people having trouble paying their mortgage, so I’m sure they were inundated with calls about that which make’s their customer support even more incredible! I faced a lot of companies to call and I could feel and sometimes hear their irritation and frustration and I would feel bad, guilty & beaten down even more then I was that I couldn’t pay my bills…. BUT.. Freedom Mortgage was amazing and kind, Helpful and even empathetic every single call, EVERY TIME!! ( and I called a lot!, I needed constant affirmation, that we would not lose our house!) We just want to Thank Freedom Mortgage and their AMAZING employees for their incredible support, that We appreciated immensely! Thank you! The Williams Family

I finally feel free as the name suggests with Freedom Mortgage. First mortgage company that truly represents it’s name. At first I was surprised to be notified of mortgage transfer to another company. Usually this brings added frustration to a process that’s a monthly priority in one’s life. My first encounter with this company was rather frightening because the lady was rather dry. Once the transfer was complete my experiences began to change. Communication with company representatives became comfortable conversations with someone that took time to listen and showed compassion to my moment of concern. I was no loner just an account number I became a person of value. This is how all businesses should recognize their customers. I applaud the company for their outstanding customer service.

Loving Freedom Mortgage
Everything seriously since day 1 has been so easy. For a little while I was in need of help. All I did was call and even though I didn’t use the help it was there for me. Just been a super experience. Always friendly and never had a foreigner answer my calls. Nothing against companies using foreigners. For me I just can’t understand when I talk with a foreign person. This is the best part of Freedom Mortgage. I understand them always. I give my mortgage company a 6 out of 5 STARS. P S I’m not getting paid to give this revue. I’m a happy happy camper. App OK, Company Not
Freedom Mortgage bought my loan and I’m very disappointed. The app works to check your balance, payments made, etc. But for the 1st time in 17 years of owning my home, Freedom Mortgage claims the carrier for my master hazard insurance policy doesn’t respond to requests for a copy of the renewal. This has happened every time this policy renews now (3 years in a row), and Freedom threatens to buy a master policy at my expense if I don’t provide a copy myself. But they send the notice via regular mail, not certified or registered mail, and only 9 days prior to the renewal. What if that mailing gets lost? Another issue is how aggressively Freedom emails, calls and texts with marketing messages as well as how much they sell your data to other vendors. Payments are also held for multiple business days — the last time, four days, before being applied (meaning interest continues to accrue). Wish they never bought my mortgage.

Predatory practices disguised as application functionality
This is the worst loan servicing tool I have ever dealt with. It took forever to be able to get my online account set up after it was transferred. I was only able to sign up using safari on mobile instead of chrome. This made me late setting up my initial payment when I have had available funds the entire time. I posted two payments back to back at the beginning of November so I could set up recurring payments (which I did) and now my payment was not processed in December so I had to post another one time payment and am not able to set up recurring payments until this has processed. You know what you’re doing to people, setting them up for failure and to be late making payments. Either your software development team is garbage or this is predatory behavior. Either way you need to get it together.

Great Customer Service
Thank you Freedom for being so helpful and understanding. I thought I had sent a payment but I didn’t. Freedom mortgage called me to remind me. They ask if everything was okay and were we having any financial issues. I was confused and was like no. They ask me about that months payment. I was apologizing, I’m so sorry I thought I sent it. I did an electronic payment. I really appreciated not being mistreated and talked to in a demeaning manor. It was refreshing for a company to be kind and understand life happens. Thank you.

Freedom Mortgage has really helped me out, as a small business during Covid, I lost 3/4 of my business and was absolutely scared that I may lose my house. They worked with me and we were able to come up with what could work best and they stuck by me. I sold real estate for several years and I’ve never had a chance to work with a lender that I felt was as this loyal. App is great, but…
This app is one of the few that actually works as it should. However I think I found an issue with it. I made a payment on the first. I even received my email confirmation. Today is the second and the app shows that my payment is still due but does not show any pending payments. I can understand that if the payment hadn’t processed yet, but it should still be in pending status. Not only that, but the pending payments option is hard to find. That option should show when you tap the Payments icon, whether you have any or not.

It Does What it’s Supposed to Do
I’ve used other mortgage apps and this one is average. I do hope they fix an issue where long messages cannot be read because you cannot scroll down past the first page on an iOS device. Maybe most messages fit on one page and that’s all that was tested. I had a longer length document relating to my escrow account and I could not read part of it. I tried forwarding it as an email but that option is not available.

New Customer
I am a newly transferred customer from New Day Financial. I called Freedom Mortgage to receive assistance with my new account. I would like to say how much I appreciate Customer Service Representative Ms. Sheila # 2513. She answered all my questions, stayed on the phone while I navigated the website and provided additional helpful information that I was unaware was available such as Core Logic and Matic. Above all else, she was very friendly, patient and pleasant to speak with. Thank you again Ms. Sheila, you are a great asset to this company!

Website is great
I wish the customer service was as good as this website. When I write comments 99% of the time they are positive but I was very dissatisfied when nobody texted me, emailed me or left a voice mail when I (admit) accidentally messed up my payment a few months back. At the same time I was getting multiple texts and emails a day from FM that I had equity in my home and did I want to refinance!!! I don’t understand how one part of FM over communicates and another zero communicates!! It cost me dearly in fees and credit score. I understand FM can’t do anything about correcting credit scores but perhaps they could help out with reimbursing late fees. V/r, Art McDonnell

New customer here!
I was unexpectedly switched to this company without warning from my previous company. I wasn’t pleased. Because after learning the previous companies’ online format & app I was not looking forward to going through that. process again. Not to mention the customer service was Terrible, and I’m being nice. Freedom mortgage was like a breath of fresh air I tell ya. I’m guilty of going into this with a low hopes of yet another company that I wouldn’t be a fan of. I’ll wrap this up, I promise haha. If you’re looking for customer service with a company / people who value you being a customer , If you’re looking for a straightforward app, If you’re to speaking to a rep & not being hold for eternity… Do yourself the favor / save yourself the hassle & Conduct business with Freedom mortgage. This switch was a blessing in disguise 🙏

I love Freedom!
They are the only mortgage company I have ever had and they are they only one I’ll ever use. They have always been amazing. Every single time I call in they treat me with respect and make sure all my questions are answered. If they have a high call volume they keep my place in line and call back when they are available instead of making me wait. They are so patient with me and I can work myself into quite a tizzy. They are the best of the best.

Worst mortgage app
Have had my mortgage bought and sold 3 times and the Freedom Mortgage app is by far the worst one. For about 4 months the face recognition would not work on sign in, providing a “helpful” message to turn on facial recognition once singed in each time. I diligently turned the feature on every single time and it never stuck. So after 4 months I reinstalled and it worked!! For 2 days. Tried signing in today and the login auto initiates facial recognition, scans and then just hangs…would provide more feedback on the experience post sign in if I ever get past the log in experience. Seems like if you can’t nail the sign in, have very little hope for the rest of the app.

Unable To Login
I’ve been having issues logging in on the app and the website. When logging in I receive a message on the app saying, “Sorry, something went wrong please try again later. “ I’ve logged for the past four days and I still have the same issue. When I log into the website I receive a message saying “oops! It’s us not you. This page is unavailable. Try again later…” I’ve contacted customer service twice and they were unable to assist with the issue. Please reach out to me to resolve this issue. I need to pay for my mortgage that is due soon and I’m unable to pay via phone. I don’t have my bank info with me as I am away from home.

Great company!
I apologize for the late payment this is the very 1st time this has happened. It was an oversight on my behalf. I actually didn’t realize until I went to print my tax forms today & saw I was locked out of the site @ 1 pm. I reset my password and then realized the late fee. If I could suggest anything maybe an email or text alert to say I was late would have been AMAZING!! Otherwise I have absolutely no complaints about this company it’s awesome I love it!!

Finally we have an app!
Very happy and excited about this app! I made all my mortgage payment over the phone I remember asking if they had an app and the rep told me they didn’t, many times the Reps and the automated voice encourages to go online and make payments, I’ve made my last 5 payments online and I was happy with that. Now we have an app! Even better!! Good work FM for listening to your clients!

Customer Consideration and Flexibility
This mortgage company has been incredibly helpful to me. I was going through some hardships but I avoided any major financial issues as well as having to adjust my mortgage rates to something higher. Garbage customer help
The app looks like it charged me twice without me noticing and by time I found out I had 2 pending transactions and I called they told me nothing can be done to call my bank see if they can do something. Chase was able to stop it but they charged me $30 stop charge. All I asked was since it was an issue on the app that caused this can they just apply the fee I had to pay towards my mortgage payment and didn’t help me at all with that. $30 dollars to a payment I was still going to do of plus $2k to them . They are garbage and scum don’t recommend them at all I’m stuck with them but u don’t have to be.

Freedom mortgage App
Freedom Mortgage app truly makes life very simple. The app is easy to navigate, it’s very clear and self explanatory. In addition and unlike most banks it gives additional tools to help you manage your monthly payments as well as plan for the long hall. I bought few houses during the years and freedom mortgage is by far the most convenient and friendly app

Finally it’s here
So much easier to make payments on my mortgage than using the web browser on my phone… so far easy to navigate, all my information from the website was already in the app once I logged in, made my first payment in about as long as it took me to download app… looking forward to see what else I can do

I was able to download the app and view my information, but it’s nothing special. My previous mortgage company had more features such as “what if” calculators for paying off your mortgage early. While this app provides you with the basic functionality, I wish it had more.

Continuous App Problems
I have tried to make payments through the app this month and in December. Every time I login on the app it says “unable to load all data on the screen”. I’m deleted the app 3 or 4 times thinking it was an issue on my end, but continue to have the same issue. My husband can’t log on to the app without the same issue. I don’t mind getting on a desktop and making payments, it’s just very inconvenient when I am able to pay the rest of my bills on my phone and I can’t pay the most important one on my phone.

The Experience of Efficiency
I use have the issue of having to deal with time when logging into my Federal Mortgage app from my website with all the extra security that they insist of doing on there, but through the app, I am able to go in an out without having to give a arm or a leg.

Finally we have an app to make our monthly mortgage payments! I can’t tell how many times I’ve said and wished and said allowed for the universe to give us an app LOL. I haven’t had it more than 5 min but I’m giving five stars because it was quick and easy to make a payment! No issues or technical issues.

Draft Loss Procedures
FM must improve their draft loss services. It currently takes too much time to review and complete the process for home owners to settle with workers during and after restoration is complete. FM Employees hang up the phone on insurers who call to check on the status of the review process, and they also resist and refuse to give their id number when requested. Draft Lost practices are no way to treat FM patrons.

I tried to login in through the freedom mortgage website today to pay my mortgage and it seemed the website was down. I downloaded the app and made my payment within 2 mins. My payment info auto filled from my account which is super convenient. Love it! Easy to use

Easy to navigate

FM seems to be doing a pretty good job!!
I’ve been with Freedom Mortgage for over a year and so far I’ve had no problems. I’m very pleased with the service and it’s easy to check up on my accounts on the Internet. The people I’ve encountered have always been very friendly, respectful, and helpful. ;)

Escrow
Great app over all but we should have the option to make additional payments towards the escrow just like the website. Or request escrow analysis. Customers insurance premiums and tax information changes annually. If Freedom pays my insurance, and I fall into the negative, I would like to make that additional payment to adjust the escrow.

Freedom is AMAZING
There have been several times throughout the life of my mortgage that circumstances have come up to miss payments, never fully, but weeks at a time! Freedom has always managed to work with us and see to it that we are taken care of! Couldn’t imagine using a different company! THANK YOU GUYS!

Very convenient payment system
Thank you freedom mortgage for making it so much easier to pay online. The prior lender didn’t offer such service. I had to pay via my online bank account or submit payments via mail. Thank you, once again!

I love this App and the Mortgage Company. The app is user friendly, and I love that it has additional fields to make additional payments for escrow and principle. It’s also easy to get in contact with customer service and they are very friendly, which is difficult to encounter these days.

App won’t work
User ID and password and it doesn’t recognize. Do the password reset and it won’t get past the reset button. IT department at FM seems to be a serious problem as even on the website I have to reset my password every time I access it. The app is even worse.

Best move ever
My mortgage was sold over to freedom and every time I have called somebody from freedom they have been nothing but kind and to make a payment with them has been so easy. I used to be with Cardinal financial and it was such a nightmare every month to deal with them

Great app but….
Great app i can look over all my bills and docs that i need from this, and make my payment. The only thing that would be great is to be able to pay additional escrow. There is additional principle payment but no additional escrow payment like on the website. Would rate it 5 stars if it had that option.

No Option to Make Future Payment
I am disappointed in this app because there is no option to make my next payment, which is due in a couple months. The only option is to make a payment towards principal. There should be an option to make the next payment or make a payment towards principal. I had to call customer service to make my next payment. Please fix this issue.

Can not sign in!!!
The app works fine majority of the time. I am currently running into an issue where i try to sign in with face ID, it brings up the two step verification screen for a split second and then brings me back to the log in screen. Like I said I am unable to sign in and I’ve tried every way possible on the mobile app.
