G-Star means quality materials and custom tailoring!!!
I own several G-Star cargo shorts and now the Rovic Zip 3D Regular Tapered Pants. The fabric materials that G-Star uses for it’s garments is quality stuff and lasts forever. The tailored construction fits your body in all the complimentary areas. The stitching seams are extra enforced which accents the look and provides strength. The buttons, velcro, and zippers are heavy duty and not cheap. Yes, G-Star products may be a little more pricey than competitors…but I would much rather have a couple of quality garments, that fit well and last forever, than a closet full of items that I don’t like because they don’t fit well and end up falling apart after two or 3 washes. You get what you pay for….

This App is a Loser
The most annoying issue besides the very heavy scripting that slows browsing is that the user cannot log in with the email and password established on the G-Star website which is also heavily scripted and slow and quirky to browse. Somehow the the API or data feed from the main website is not feeding the user login data to this App. The developers programming this should be fired for creating an awful user experience and taking away the goodwill established by the quality clothing product. As a side note, the website does not tie to actual USPS tracking data which also ruins the experience. The example is that you order and the G-Star web will indicate delivery of the order 44 days from now and tracking will not be sufficiently updated until you go to the actual USPS website where USPS ends up delivering in a matter of days. Given the flawed programming process I would expect the same with this App if I can ever sign in… These developers are terrible and should have a better process in place than to release a programming with so many issues.

have been a customer since G-Star started in the 90's and have loved the brand since. Their commitment to fashion forward, well built, and unique products continues today. Their commitment to the customer was proven to me not long ago by the CEO who personally handled something for me and went above and beyond what would have been expected. G-Star is doing the right things to be one of the ones that makes it through these trying times. Please support them if you can, I am and will be a life long fan and customer of this great brand. Order Enquiry
I ordered 9 items at G-star and they sent me package in an envelope by USPS, which seemed like a sweater inside. I did not want to open it because it was visible to the eye that it wasn’t my order. I expected to receive a box with all my clothes inside. I have reached out to their ambassadors but there’s no clear guidance as to what happened to my order. This is the worst experience ever. Their phone number is no longer working, their website chat service, keeps me on waiting. Customer care is so terrible and spending my last money I completely regret shopping at G-star, they do not care about their customers wellbeing and how stressful it is not to receive your order. When I track it, it says order delivered. I do not know what to do now, been sending emails to support but nothing clear about my order.

Bugs
App is so buggy, it many products are in the list and if I open to see a product usually when I go back it will reload and start from the begging of the list which is so annoying, I have to scroll all the way down where I left and again if I go to another product same thing. Also items added to cart if there are 15 sometimes it will stop calculating price and it will not be possible to proceed to purchase it will just be stuck in the loop. Also it does not show materials made for the products like it shows on the web page so you do not know what are you buying. Another thing is that Apple Pay did not work with the app always getting an error that it is not payed. I decided to delete the app and use web page which also has some bugs.

Poor customer service/ crazy long shipping time
I ordered a package on the 23rd of September and it was supposed to be coming from their warehouse in Germany to me in the United States. After about 10 days I still haven’t received my package, and the tracking info through APG says the package is still in the air.. meaning it haven’t arrived in the US yet. However, G-Star customer Rep here in the US told me the package is here in the US and is on it’s way to USPS… but when I track the tracking number for USPS it says the label was created since the 23rd of September and they haven’t receive the package yet. Customer service rep from GStar told me the package arrived in the USA on September 26th but still not alarmed that b/w the 26th of September to the 5th of October it’s a long time to be awaiting a transfer b/w carriers. Customer service Reps of GStar are unhelpful and very inpatient with customers.

Perfect
For years we have been purchasing products from G-Star Raw and so far no complaints regarding quality of their clothing. Sometimes shipping can be a drag, especially during the busy holiday season, however the special sale prices and wide selection of products do compensate for this. Also, what we really like about ordering from this company is the option to return via mail (free) or to return in any of their stores.

App and website are the worst
I’ve been shopping g star for years and love their clothes, but the experience on this app and their site are the worst. Don’t try to use paypal through the app, you will keep getting errors. Also, why does the screen need to reload every time I choose a new color item? Also, the merchandising of products is ridiculous. No matter if you choose skinny or slim for a particular pair of jeans, you’ll get both and when they show up, the label will be opposite of what you ordered. Also, product pages, scrolling up and down for alternative pics? This isn’t the UX anyone is use to. These are just a few of the issues you will find. So much potential, but they just can’t get it together.

Great but need clothing reviews.
Awesome app, but need customer clothing reviews. They do a lot with their concepts, but the downside is you get one style that fits in different ways. For example, pants from their city shield line, some will fit true to size while some fit tight enough that you would have to buy a size up. Because the clothes sell pretty fast, if this happens, you could miss out on a great item. In this way, customer feedback could be really useful. Customer feedback could also help with generally knowing the features of an item. I once bought a really cool parka from G-Star but it was only a single layer of denim. It would have been tough to wear so I returned it, but customer feedback would have been useful in that regard. Ironically, for it’s lack of certain features, the app is pretty slow and doesn't seem to play well with wifi. At any rate, you’re in it for the amazing and unique styles they peddle. Check their exclusives, they’re mind-blowing.

The app needs a lot of work
Multiple UX issues in this app, as well as bugs. Wishlist is changing spontaneously, I see some random stuff in my list and items I saved disappear. When I update my shopping bag, it takes a while and needs me to go out and get back in to see the updated price. Payment process is painful, as it’s using third party, so no payment details are saved. There is no way to manage returns from the app, again, third party is used for this. The list goes on. I hope the app will be updated soon to smooth out shopping experience. So far, it’s frustrating.

A few bugs to iron out in a great app
My shopping cart “locked up” and wouldn’t proceed to check out. Also noticed some item have errors in the color options. I have screen shots and would be willing to help make this app better. Also. There seems to be different catalogue on the website vs on the app. Ie; some item and styles could be found on one and not the other. I cant see any benefit to this and it creates a hassle for the customer and possibly looses sales because items were not displayed

Discouraged
Been a long time customer of G Star and over the years I’ve noticed you guys don’t supply the average size man everybody’s not tall with long legs I actually wear a 33X 28 and this item is constantly sold out it doesn’t matter what type of dungaree that you have for sale there’s never a 33X28 available…It makes it very hard to purchase items from you guys I’m just sending this out as a reminder that you need to focus more on the average size man not everyone is 6 feet… you might find a growth in your profit/sales

Terrible customer service!!!
I bought 2 shorts in the app at full price. 1 day after receiving the items, they went on sale at 50% off!!! Called customer service and they said they can’t price match even when I just received the items yesterday!!! Terrible customer service. So basically they want me to return the items and buy them again to save $120!!! Terrible. Won’t buy again

Great Stuff
Great stuff here just always have problems checking out. Once I have all of my stuff in the cart and I have all my discounts it will not process. Sometimes I even lose my order which is frustrating. I have to reload, but if I miss the timeline for the sale and it will not process I lose my discounts.

Not what it used to be.
I will say that I do miss the stores, but understand why the change happened. But you would think that if the concentration was to have customers mainly shop online that they would have better shipping options, better customer service and more of a prompt system to send and receives products. They still make great clothing though. And I’m fortunate that the sales happen when they do. Also the clothing being sustainable does help.

Hello. This was my first time ordering from this clothing line. My order came fast . My god daughter is fanatic over these clothes. Her birthday is in two weeks and she will actually flip over the shirt I ordered a medium but the shirt is too small The shirt is really nice and I like the material. I just ordered her a large hopefully it will fit. I also ordered the masks. Thanks Raw!!!!

App performance and user experience
Some of the elements on the Graphic User Interface delayed in loading. The Apps responsiveness also needs some optimization, but overall the transaction experience was convenient, and I was able to complete my purchase in less than 15 minutes. A little bit slower than other E-commerce Apps out there.

Never receiving packages
I LOVE G-Star Raw to death BUT since I placed an order Sept 23rd I never received my package. I did get a refund on it thanks to the help from the customer service team. I just don’t understand why the packages stay put in Canal Winchester, OH. There needs to be better communication from vendor and USPS cos there’s a mess up somewhere in between the two and I hate the process of refunding an insanely great deal. And G-Star come on, I live in NY and the ONLY option for store pick up is really an 8 hour drive to Virginia??? You got 3 locations in the Tri State area.

Does NOT Sync b/w devices nor Web to App
My “favorites” do not show up between devices when using the app. It also does not sync between the website to the app. It’s super frustrating and time consuming to have to keep going through the various channels to find the item you want to purchase.

Easy to use App
This is one App I really enjoy. Easy to use. Great selections. With nice visuals and styling feedback. Provides nice feedback on how a product can look. Sales are usually really nice, with one getting good products that last at brilliant prices. Only thing I would suggest is helping us understand the differences between the various styles. Sometimes can be confusing…and I have bought a product on occasion that optically looks nice, but is not really gonna fit my body style well. Not sure if this is possible. Love my G Star Raw for >20 years. Thank you! ✌🏽💗🙏🏽

Terrible customer service
I bought a shirt in store while traveling and tried to return it. There was no g star store near by, so I contacted both online customer service and store to generate a return label. Both of them were pushing ball to each others court and I ended up not being able to return it. Never had such experience with any other merchandise. Do not buy in store and contacting customer care is also really difficult, so be cautious about buying you may struggle to return.

For a significant company I find it Cheap that there is no phone for support. I just had a problem of a wrong address and could not connect for ANY kind of support. 3 stars until something is, and should be done. LewT

Great app and clothes although…
Sometimes when checking out I get like a 10 minute loading wheel even on WiFi. Also if ur using mobile data on this app forget about it, it’s like pictures and the UI are large file sizes cuz you’ll be stuck loading

Navigation needs to be fixed
Had a bunch of filters applied (discount, gender and size) and after clicking an item to see details, when I clicked the back arrow on the page to go back, all filters were lost. Had to reapply filters 5 times.

Incorrect inventory count
A few times I have ordered items from this app and website and although it says certain items are available they really aren’t. The next day I get an email saying the order is canceled.

They have a nice selection of clothing and to make things perfect they deliver super fast, my orders normal come the next day or two. The return process is also easy... I will never wear another brand again.. well maybe Nike for the shoes but as far as clothes it’s G Star all the way... Thank you

The app is not easy to use
The design itself is pretty, but I don’t think the designer really tested how the app works. The page can be swiped left, right, up and down, I can never swipe without making mistakes. When I want to see more images of a product it always accidantly go to next product, hope you can get more test and make it user friendly

Horrible at processing orders
It has taken me 5 days to place my order bye to not getting past the processing page. This app continuously gets stuck on the processing page. In the process of trying to order three items in my cart sold out. I am highly disappointed. Not worth the memory space for this app, just order from the website you’ll have a better chance at getting what you want before it sells out.

Unusable app & website

Buggy checkout
No matter if you are using the website or the app, the checkout and payment steps are brutally slow. Like worse than dialup speeds. I couldn’t get the system successfully use any card in my Apple Pay wallet until the 20+ try. It took me almost 45 minutes to check out. This might be my last order.

Dope merchandise but terrible customer service
If can you use the app as a reference and buy items locally. A few of my orders haven’t made it to me from Europe and I’ve had to open claims with ups about it. When I’ve reached out to customer service I’ve received what pretty much amounts to an automated response.
