Gencraft - AI Art Generator

It’s a fun app, and you can look at other people’s prompts to get a feel for effective phrasing. You can keep a big library of your creations as long as you’re still subscribed. You can upload a person or a drawing as a reference image! I used it for fantasy characters. There is some stuff I’d like to have known before purchasing, although I don’t regret purchasing. The nice clean examples they show are rare. You get about 99% deformed throwaways. Training models costs only 3 bucks, but it’s super easy to train it wrong and you pay 3 bucks for every edit. My model vanished and the FAQ and tutorial site isn’t very good. There’s some weird creepy glitches if you upload your drawing of a person. It renders extra belly buttons and weird lopsided eyes with extra pupils. Anatomy gets strange, especially musculature. I needed a character with tusks, and it has no clue what a tusk or fang is, so it turns them into other objects. There’s a ton of fantasy art, and tusks and fangs are fantasy staples, so that surprised me. It can’t do odd colored skin. It will make it human colored with strange blotches. It randomly turns characters into big-headed children. I wanted a character in Thai fisherman’s clothing, and the clothes looked GREAT, but it changed his race and turned the city background to a bunch of huts on fire lol. The pricing is weird. It’s 10 a week, and 20 a month. It would be nice to offer a yearly subscription.

I’ve had this app for about a week and it’s run fine on my phone the art comes out really well for the most part and gives you two different pictures if you didn’t like one my only thing is I use the free version and I feel that only 10 prompts a day is not the best another thing I didn’t like is you only get 10 prompts every 24 hours so I feel like that could be much shorter especially because you only get 10 so I feel that this deserves four stars and is amazing compared to some other ai generators

Loved the app at first. very fun! But once i spent $20 to have the subscription i saw multiple generations of nudity, extremely scary images, and i am not even talking about the many photos that are would be considered "soft pornography". Very unpleased since the app clearly states it is PG and doesn't allow violence or nudity. I reached out to "help" and received a response after many days. Typical response, "we care", "here are our rules".... blah blah blah. They didn't address my concerns and had the gall to say finally that i can report it and it took multiple replies to say how to report. I was completely unheard. When you are generating your own photo the offensive images appear. Then they expect you to click on it to KEEP looking at it to report it? No. The user should be kicked off the app if their generated photos do not adhere to the rules the app puts out. Many email responses later, they STILL will not refund my money, never mentioning about my request for a refund. They cater to the offender but don't defend the rules or principles they put out! Very frustrated!!!

I made the mistake of thinking I can change my subscription through the official App but no, had to change it through my subscriptions on my phone and the one I wanted that was showing on the Gencraft App was not in the subscription list on apple so I just paid $10 for a product I won’t use and feel cheated that we aren’t even given the same option that was given in the Official App. Also there’s no way for a refund at all so just be careful and make sure you are checking on what your plan actually includes. I opted to go for another plan because most searches show up with the generically same female and i was unsatisfied with trying to get derivatives of diff females all for them to look the same. I also was trying to come up with another generated character and it was showing up blank the whole time for the 30 diff ways I tried inputting different characteristics for what I wanted. Very disappointed. $10 wasted for a broken app that isn’t great at all.

I was not expecting that much from this app, but I absolutely love it now! I’m not great at drawing, and I was looking for an AI app that could render me a photo of my DND character that I designed. It worked amazing! It perfectly captured the character in the background was ✨stunning✨. I then decided to use it for another character that I had designed myself but didn’t have the skills to draw. Normally, other apps I have used will always mess up on realistic portraits. There will be something weird or off about them or they just won’t understand the prompt. Not this app. The image looked like a real photo, and it was exactly as I had imagined. 10/10 would recommend!

This AI app is perfect for a plethora of different people and tasks. From creating a custom headshot, to making your own wall art, in animation or realistic design this is THE APP. The user can simply type in exactly what they’d like to see and the app generates the image. If you want to adjust it, tweak it here or there, you tap the are and type the detailed change. It comprehends better than most humans I interact with on a daily basis. Still deciding if that’s a good or bad thing, lol. Now for the PRICE paying a WEEKLY subscription fee of either $4 or $10 seems quite high, especially when the guidelines specifically states you are not the owner of the photos for commercial purposes etc… The $4 was the purchase I went with and that limited the number of photo generating I can produce to 25 before the reset … and the photo is not in HD quality… looks more like the photos we took in the 90’s with disposable cameras —- so great technology generated but poor quality photography. Seems counterproductive So while I love the app - I won’t be keeping it long because I can use that amount to find an investment that will give me a return on my money.

To be honest, I don't have the money to pay for the paid version of this app. Sure, I was disappointed at first that you have to pay for unlimited prompts, but a company has to make a profit. So, I settled for the free version. It's a great app, but the AI can be a little finicky, and having 10 prompts was perfect if not more than enough to get the image I imagined onto my screen. Now, free members only have 5? This is a good app, but I worry that only having 5 is not enough for a consumer to return each day, like I have, to use your product, especially in situations like mine where money is barely being met and I don't have the luxury of extremities. Just a suggestion, but if this doesn’t find someone, then I hope the person reading has a great day. Warm regards.

This is a very fun game to play when you get bored. I will say not being able to play is hard to imagine because I think it is amazing. I can always come to this whenever I get tired of people. It is almost like a social media because you can create and account and post the things that you made on it. I found that very interesting. I think this is a great game for people who are always looking for something that isn’t quite social medie but is also something that you can post the beautiful things you make as well as see the other things that people make.

I LOVE. THIS. APP!! It doesn’t have ads and it lets you browse at others ideas when urs is loading! And the best part is it shows 2 pictures but you can ask for more. Still don’t have a idea of what you wanna draw after looking at others press the stories me button on the top right of the screen if you like it so much then you can easily post it without having to put your Gmail or anything! I would recommend! BUT Sometimes it doesn’t show you exactly what your looking for but I think it because of me. WHAT CAN I SAY I HAVE EXTREMLY TO DETAILED IDEAS 👏😮‍💨

Excellent app, I’ve tried a bunch of them and this app and the Imagine app and LightX are my top three. However, I attempted to train a model for myself and got to the end, paid my $2.99, got a message that flashed so fast I couldn’t read it. Then every time I try to resume training it’s asking me to pay $2.99 again. Point is, the help section is NOT helpful. Perhaps payment hasn’t cleared yet and it will resolve itself. I did get an Apple receipt though so I’m kind of left scratching my head at the moment.

I like this game because you can create pretty much whatever you want and then you can share it with the world. You can even exclude things from the picture and choose a genre before the picture is created. The only things I don’t like are that you can play without having to pay, but you only get about 5 creations a day. If you pay, your creations will be showed more, so it’s unfair to people who don’t pay. But I love this game and I got my nana and my BFF accounts so clearly I do like the overall come together.

When I started working with AI generated images, I was first intimidated by colors and depth of the images. Soon a whole new world opened up to me when I became the visionary, and the AI tool my master collaborator… and I found I was able to translate almost perfectly at times the image that I captured in my mind through the AI tool that was bringing it to fruition. Despite the fact that there are still kinks to work out in a lot of cases…for the most part it is a powerful and super cool way to express yourself.

Very good program on the free side (I can’t afford a subscription). But, a user has to ‘really’ think through the description of what they want. Otherwise, the randomness factors in, and you won’t come close to what you’re imagining. The reverse is also true; too much information gums up the works. Last, while I support their limits on what is not allowed, I disagree with limits placed on public figures (there may be a way around it, but would involve editing skills of the user).

I have used the free version and had some great results. I have tried various subjects and backgrounds with good results. Gencraft is not always good at counting. I ask for four and get five people. Or I ask for five and get seven. It’s okay, but AI is still learning! AI has a few problems with arms and fingers at times…the rest of a person will be perfect and the fingers or arms are unnatural. These make me laugh! 6 fingers? Really? Or arms too long or at unnatural angles? Overall I am quite happy with this free version and I am sure the premium version is even better. Sometimes Gencraft makes me laugh. For example, I asked for a flying Canadian goose. I got one with 3 wings and 2 heads. Very realistic, but not very accurate! I often get really good images, but sometimes AI misses the mark. Keep working on it, Gencraft AI image creator! Bravo!

Like the title said, this app was great. There must have been a recent update because now the algorithm seems all kind of messed up. I was paying for the premium subscription (which is ridiculously priced! At least they added a cheaper monthly option) but definitely going to be canceled. The app was doing a great job of generating a specific character I created in different situations but now it’s all kinds of messed up. I’m trying the models but I don’t really understand how it works. I used the sample balloon model for a couple images and it seemed like it had zero impact on the generated images. Hope they fix whatever they changed so the app can go back to being a great generator for writing inspiration.

I really like how fluid the system is and how you can go in and look through other users’ creations. The model system is also a good idea, and I love how accurate and unique you can make the images. However, there are a few things I think need improvement. 1. I am not sure what the XP is for. I figured it would be something for free users to employ as extra prompt boosts, or points that would allow for more creation of AI art, but that doesn’t seem to be the case right now. It would be nice to get more out of that system and have more fun with the app. 2. Looking through other users’ galleries is glitchy and slow. Sometimes when I scroll down the app pauses and loads, and at one point it crashed. This looks like something that needs to be fixed. Overall, I am glad I came across this app, though I believe there should be some things added for free users and bug fixes throughout the app.

This is a very fun app, Generate whatever you want, who doesn’t want that?!?! I love this app, buth the reason I gave it 4 stars than 5 stars is, cause I something’s want to try to generate something, like something funny, like: ‘generate tiny humans running around’ and something’s the would be in finished or have white scary eyes, my cousin also typed something and expected it to be funny, but he jumped of his chair cause how scary some of the characters where, please fix this issue, Thanks!

There are lots of free and purchase ai tools. While scouting I gave this one a try. To see what I got before a I payed for it I gave it a roll. It gave me a very limited number of tries. Only one didn’t fail to generate, but in my opinion the image it generated was a fail. Also it allegedly lets you load base images for reference. Every image I tried didn’t fit the standards for the app, even a picture of a basketball. My trial run resulted in a low 0% functionality rate. Don’t let me be your determining factor, everyone try it for yourselves. I’m old school and like buying a car, I get very deterred when it won’t run on the test drive.

My prompt is “a Chinese girl in blue skirt, walking on an arching Chinese bridge in a village. The river runs through houses with white walls and black roof tiles.” The first time the picture generated had very good houses and the bridge. The girl herself is very nice but instead of walking on the bridge, she was standing outside of guard rails of the bridge. Also, the bridge does not connect to a road but ends at the wall of the house. then I asked Gencraft to regenerate the picture and the second time it was done right

Compared to the AI Arta app this has better performance yet this app crashes harder than any app on my phone and to charge you weekly and not money for a app that hardly works is off but the art is addictive I’ll say that and I do think the explore page is rigged no way the say few people are always trending and some of us have ideas that change the game but I could be wrong also add chat 💬 to the explore page I’d love to comment on people art and network ideas 💡

I was using Mid journey which was good and I enjoyed it, but then I discovered Gencraft and I have to say I prefer Gencraft over Midjourney I know Midjourney is more popular but Gencraft I love that you can make different art styles including anime and the Photo Booth feature is a great way to enhance pictures. Plus Gencraft is cheaper than Midjourney with only two tiers Pro and Starter . The most expensive tier in Midjourney is about $80 Gencraft $20 .

expected to have to pay monthly to actually be able to use the service like many others, however this app allows you all the usual functions with the payed subscription just offering better download quality and the ability to make your own artstyle

I am a novice writer with some small pieces published. I am presently writing three books. One of these books requires a tailored image for the cover that must be generated artificially because it doesn't exist in the natural UNIVERSE! At least I think it doesn't exist. I apologize if a dark side to any sun exists! My book requires an image of a sun with a dark side. With in five manipulations of the text I had my image!

I adore this app so so much and use it to make content but lately the video function is gone! I really hope this comes back soon - Gencraft in my experience is the best one out there because no ads, you get your videos in about 10 seconds and they look somewhat realistic albeit creepy! Please bring back this function ASAP! Four stars but otherwise 5.

GenCraft has completely blown me away! This innovative platform has unlocked a realm of endless possibilities, allowing me to explore my wildest dreams and create truly unique experiences. While it occasionally serves up some wonderfully bizarre and distorted creations, that's part of the charm – it's like diving into a universe of infinite creativity. I'm absolutely hooked and can't recommend GenCraft enough. Five stars all the way!

I use Gencraft almost everyday, I don’t have pro, but I still use my free daily 5 given. I always post them too and I have almost 1000 followers now ✨🥳 so far it’s been really fun and I’ve met so many nice people who have tones of likes and followers more then myself. Overall it’s a great app with a good, non toxic community. Hope for even more fun in the future! 😁😁

This app is absolutely perfect if you want to make a ai generated photo and if you want it to be the same person just put the same prompt in and no problem it’s very accurate and realistic but the only thing is that you get 5 free things before you have to wait 24 hours for the next but it’s worth the wait for the awesome images you get.

Freeware version limits you to 10 prompts / 20 images a day, but what you get isn’t bad. I’d say I was 40-60 in getting more or less what I was asking for, which was a lot better than a certain allegedly Midjourney-based generator that’s pure garbage. This is functional enough in freeware mode that it might just get my business.

Incredible app! I love it ! However I have some suggestions, There should be a way to see who came up with the original prompt when people use the “try me” feature and publish it. Otherwise allow for people to hide their prompts if they choose to.

This app is amazing! The ability to bring photos and videos to life with only a few keywords and clicks is a game changer. The colors are so bright and vivid like nothing I have ever seen before. It brings life to art like no regular average artist can do. This app is going to take art and photography to a whole new level. This app is well worth the money.

User friendly with small learning curve. By the time I had generated my 5th picture, I was handling it like a pro. The trick is to get very specific with your image description, how long is her hair, what dress, background, etc. I’m a writer, and I generate pics of my characters so I can see them as I write their stories. I use this constantly

If you want a really good quality video then you are out of luck because if you put in too many quality standards then instead of a good video, it will give you a blank white screen that says the stupid phrase at the top of the review! Worst of all, this screen COUNTS AS A PROMPT FOR THE FREE VERSION USERS! If you are on to your last prompt before you run out, and you get this screen, then sorry but… IF YOU WANT TO TRY AGAIN, THEN TOO BAD BECAUSE YOU NOW HAVE ZERO PROPTS LEFT BECAUSE OF THE STUPID SCREEN! One star for all, plus the faces are all blurred, and barely look human. ⭐️❌

Its good and the free is sort of the same but you only get 5 prompts a day you get followers and likes it shows you how many likes you have I’ve been on this for a few days and I already have 3 followers and 15 likes so if you like getting likes and followers fast I recommend and it says who likes and followed you so I recommend it

It seems that if you violate the highly sensitive censor rules you will be shadowbanned. Meaning nobody will see your work unless they seek out your page. Also, the top images are the same 2 or 3 people all the time. It’s pretty unfair. Alot of ripping off others images and using outside ai apps and downloading to Gencraft for attention. Also annoying.

It’s okay but you literally cannot do depictions against religion. Some of us are atheists. We do not care about your so called god and want to have fun on the app too. When I typed up “God stepping on atheists” it sure didn’t have a problem generating that. But when I looked up something as simple as “Bibles being burned” it shows school books being burned instead I tried 6 different ways of wording it and it would NOT show a bible being burned or any negative depictions of the religion whatsoever.

I’ve been using Gencraft for a few days now, and I’m really impressed with the results! The app has generated some truly stunning images, and I’ve been able to create some really unique pieces of art. I can really get my creative juices flowing, and am truly inspired by the results. Highly recommend this app!

A great little AI app to learn and get a knack of how it all works. You can feed off of others published artwork and alter or publish your own and others can alter what you’ve posted. There are some limitations, as it has standards on what you can and cannot post in their galleries, which is understandable, and seldom ever interferes with what you’re trying to accomplish. It’s a good beginner step.

I don’t have an account but the app lets me use the free version without one and even without the paid version there’s a lot of features and the image quality is better than some free ai. It didn’t capture exactly what I wanted at first but after a few tries I got a great picture.

This generator has helped me speed through making quality icons at very little cost compared to paying an artist for tons of icons not to mention how much time it saves and reduces miscommunication all while providing the same quality if not better!

It’s neat and you get 10 images daily for free. Personally the itch to create random stuff is satisfied after 4 goes but if that’s not enough the prices are cheap for more. I also enjoy the fact that it’s daily as in resets at midnight not at the last time of use. Overall it’s a nice AI image creating app.

I liked this app at first. So I got a $4.99 monthly subscription. Shortly after I did, the app started using up my prompts without loading the pictures I was creating. And now it won't do any. I got some nice ai pictures in the beginning, now any picture I use, especially if its my face, won't load the picture that was supposed to be generating. So basically I will be paying for an app that barely works when it's supposed to! No thanks. Hope they can fix this.

I purchased the app months ago and was using it just fine. I canceled my subscription but then re-subscribed as a premium user and it locked my features even though I paid for the premium account I have not been able to generate videos or use any premium features while my account and my bank has been charged numerous times by the app. I need a refund or I need this app to work for premium use.

I made what i wanted pretty obv but they js kept on messing up “ Geo from team umi zumi with a blue jacket,light brown skin,grills,money, and brownhair. And milli from team umi zumi with her pink jacket polkadot jacket and money. Milli has one knee on the floor of a parking lot while spreading money out and her hand and geo is counting his money while standing beside her.” After that it showed a dog and i was like where did he come from.. and i said they are teenagers and alone in the parking lot and it showed 2 girls And i said geo is a boy and milli is a girl. Still showed 2 girls allat typing for nothing.

I wrote this elaborate description and the output was some black and white stick figure video. I’m sure it gets better as you learn but who would pay $40 per month for this? You’d have to be functioning without neurons. I’d pay no more than $20 in total for this. These devs are wild for what they expect from subscriptions. Can’t wait for everyone to stop this subscription madness and make these devs go back to sane pricing. Until then, I’ll find something else.

This is a great app and AI image generator. It is able to produce some really remarkable results and it offers a wide variety of tools to choose from. I use it to create portraits of Dungeons & Dragons characters. Guiding it to produce a specific image can be challenging. Providing a broad description and seeing what it comes up with is where it seems to shine. Some changes I’d like to see include: - Better navigation for reviewing previously generated images. - The ability to delete the placeholder that appears when the AI fails to create an image based on your description.

So, the reason as to why I only gave the app 4 stars is because you only get 10 requests PER DAY. Sure, there are plans to get more with money, but some people, like I, don’t have enough money to get things! The only thing that I ask is that the free plan gets a couple more requests. Thanks for your time! 😁

5 stars for quality, but for 3-4 for price. There are more and more emerging image generators that are free. Maybe not as convenient as this one, but free. I would say the price needs to be lowered and compete as this market becomes more and more competitive, with same or better quality.

It frightens me a lot. Yet I love it even more. This app is very good. It is so good that I will probably buy a subscription which I never ever do but because they give so much away for free I can hardly stand not seeing what is behind the paid option.
