Why my credit card info is needed?

Why do I have to give my credit card information if my card isn’t going to be charged. It states it’s used for location verification. I don’t think you need my credit card number to tell where I am located. I couldn’t get past this part to even use the app.

Well done

I have been looking for this app for a while. Glad it worked for what I need. All I wanted is to see and check my card balance at any time. Can’t say this app does check 100% automated at this stage. It is surely one of its kind based on my researches. And it’s free....

It works!

The interface isn’t exactly user friendly but once you figure out how to use it.. it does exactly what it says. It checks card balances and keeps the info in one place. Only concern is I’m not convinced that this is exactly a safe way to store this information. It’s a bit risky.

Concept is quite good

Put all my Xmas gifts in the app. Not all of them are supported to check balance but major stores are good. Easy to take a photo and save in app. Still lots of room for improvements but do the job for me.

what the app can do

store gift card entry, store card photo, save balance web page as screenshot, additional links to merchant website, balance check online, phone numbers, quite some gift cards available (but not all have online balance). overall not so bad comparing to doing everything manually.

Not sure if your at fault

But i had bought a 25 dollar visa gift card. spent about ten dollars. saw this app put the information in and the rest of the 15 dollars was Stolen. so if your able to track anything let me know. as someone took the 15 dollars and put it into their paypal.

Don’t waist your time...

I was looking to see the balances of a few gift cards, I couldn’t get the answer to my question. I was bombarded with ads and everything was super confusing and annoying. I would only recommend this to my enemy! 👎

I put a credit card number in thinking there would be no charge. My card company blocked the transaction and there was a charge for $1.25. I’m deleting your app.

awesome app

have put all my cards in it. you store card number first, then it takes you to webpage to get the balance. very handy that long card number is filled in automatically.

giftcards wallet with bonus features to save images, take screenshots, text recognition from photo and most importantly possible solution to get dollar balance.

Not usable

Can’t get past all the ads and credit card requirement (?!?) in order to use the app for its stated purpose - ie to check a gift card balance.

Hoax

It takes information including credit card and the scanner doesn’t exist. It goes to a movie app. Don’t waste your time

Total scam

Do not put card info in! Update: Somehow this company got ahold of my apple ID password and has been charging my credit card over the past few days. I deleted the app and somehow it still says “open” when checked in the app store. These people are dirty and you will have to spend a lot of time trying to resolve if you download.

READ THE SMALL PRINT !!

Why is it asking for MY credit card info, when this is supposed to be a app to get gift card balances… OH YEAH CUZ THEY WANT TO CHARGE ME $32 a month after they give me a “free 2 day trial “ mummmm thanks but no thanks !!!

love the app it did a great job for my card. photo editing is a little old fashioned but text recognition is awesome. no typing, long number is picked up from photo. sweet

Worthless

This app is truly The biggest piece of garbage I have ever interfaced. Fraught & plastered everywhere with misleading vendor adds as well. This gets 1 star as I had to pick something- so, 1 star and 4 flushes.

I put my gift card info in this app and 29.90 the remaining bal on my card was taken. Apple need to monitor these crooks in this App Store. Beware!!

Exceptionaly poor customer service.

To be shared with every social media available within minutes thanks. I personally purchased a visa gift card from 7-11 convenience store where I have been working at for over 2 years now and it doesn’t work at all! Spoke to 2 customer service agents at your customer support services without any resolution to date as promised by them plus with this purchase came a $100.00 gift card from Westfield shopping center. THIS APP STEALS MONEY FROM GIFT CARD

I’ve used my gift card once. Only on eBay. This app is the only other thing that has information from my card. So far something was brought from wish and Amazon music. Wish does not have my gift card information and I don’t have an amazon music account. My card has been in my wallet since I bought it. Be careful giving your gift card information to this app.

Poor interface meets apparent absence of described functionality. I just wanted to see the balance on an Amazon gift card I found in a drawer. Nope.

An Android Nightmare

Pop-ups that hide the interface with no way to clear, broken functionality, random redirects to advertiser websites. This must be what it’s like to use an Android phone. I wish I could give it negative stars.
