A Godzilla-flavored Idle Game
This game is essentially an idle/incremental game, but Godzilla-themed. You build bases and defenses to automatically attack enemies, and can tap the screen for extra dps. You mostly fight generic monsters, but a kaiju boss battle appears on every tenth stage where you have to deal a certain amount of damage within a time limit. Sometimes a rare Godzilla battle will appear, which is basically just a harder kaiju boss. Despite the theme of the game, there are no consequences for losing, so you steadily move forward. Each kaiju you defeat gives you a card you can use to activate skills in battle for temporary extra power. You can use premium currency to gamble for rare cards, but also acquire them slowly through normal gameplay. There’s also a system where you can obtain another currency to buy and upgrade allies that assist automatically in battle. Lastly, as with most idle games, there’s a system to reset and carry over new stat bonuses when you finally start to hit a wall. Overall, it’s a well-made game with Godzilla theming. Microtransactions and ad bonuses are available, but not necessary. You can play the game just fine without them, albeit more slowly. Ads are not mandatory and give good bonuses. I can’t really think of any particular flaws in this game. However, it seems there will be no further updates, so there won’t be anything more recent than Shin Godzilla featured in it.

Ideas and Issues
First off, some of the kaiju have incorrect roar sounds, like Desghidorah for example... sounds like Mothra Leo... And I am positive that the sound I heard before fighting Dagarha’s roar sounded like some kind of squeak... when I see a Kaiju I’d like to hear their unique and original roars they had in the films they were in, not whatever you have made up to seemingly mock the Kaiju for the game. And as for the idea, maybe add the kaiju’s roar and vehicle/object SFX in after you place their card down to make it more enjoyable instead of that crystalline ding? Oh, and thank you for fixing Ghidorah ‘91’s card, I was beginning to get annoyed remembering which one was 98 and which one was 91, because they both looked exactly like Ghidorah 98, so arigoto for fixing that. And for the people reading this, it’s a pretty fun game, but I’d only get it if you have time on your hands, going back in time and resetting each city instead of the ones you can just select for more time shards is really time consuming, and I don’t like the fact that I can’t take my civilian’s with me. Luckily, you get back to your original progress rather quickly, as long as you exchange time shards for artifacts and their upgrades. So far I’ve time traveled twice... Time traveling is highly recommended if you are stuck on the same Kaiju for... let’s say almost a day. Or even seven six hours, curse you Gabara... I’m coming for you...

Have a big suggestion that could help this app a lot!
First of all, I love being the monster that destroys cities.. wouldn’t everyone else? It’s cool to fight the kaiju monsters and go fanatic over seeing the next boss. But I think you guys should add a monster side, let the player be the Godzilla, mothra, biolante, ect. I just think being the person can feel like your not the all powerful thing in the game, when I see Godzilla games I think of destructive monsters with immense power! I just feel unfortunate without an available way on my phone to play as a monster with this decent of graphics. Let the player earn more monsters by destroying cities and encounter the monster they will earn in a fight. I LOVE the designs that you came up with for the game, and I would like to see this game flourish with a monster side that can make the player so excited to destroy buildings with a challenge. While having some easiness to the mode that will make the player have fun, instead of struggling with it in frustration. I think having a monster mode could really shake up the game, especially since this game deserves to have a mode like this, because it’s a monster game! Hope this helps a lot and you find it a good suggestion to add into the game if you wanted to.

A cliche, but a nice one
This game is a very enjoyable experience for a Godzilla fan such as myself, I love how nearly every monster is included at some point, including those from lesser Toho flicks. Not a single monster is excluded, as far as I can tell. Absolutely one of the best rosters I’ve ever seen. Unlocking a new unit or leveling them up is very satisfying as most of the time they will annihilate any enemy...for the first 3 levels or so. That brings me into the negative, the difficulty. I should not have to spend 30 minutes watching advertisements just to get a big enough boost to do enough damage to a Daikaiju (the big boys) to defeat it. Then, directly after, spend another 30 slowly killing the 10 waves that come after, and then rinse and repeat double-the-time for the next big monster. Making money is absolutely impossible, making time travel a requirement, but there’s no fun in fighting the same 10 Daikaiju over and over when you get stuck on one, and have to travel back to the beginning. I cannot tell you how many times I’ve had to fight Ebirah, and I’ve barely even seen what Sydney has to offer. In all, this game would honestly just be another time-wasting clicker such as Clicker Heroes or Tap Titan. If it were not for the fact that I am such a nerd when it comes to Godzilla, I would pass over this game scrolling through the App Store. It’s fun for the first day or so, then the repetitive nature almost forces you to delete it.

Good, just two small problems
The game is amazing. I love it. The visuals of each individual monster, the way that each monsters attacks reference the movie they are from, and the monster cards and how they can show you pictures from the movie and give small descriptions. I haven’t played a whole lot of the game yet, but what I have played so far is amazing. This is even better if you are a hardcore Godzilla fan, but even if you aren’t you would still be able to enjoy this game. There are only 2 real things that buy me about this game. The first is that I really wish I could go back and fight monsters that I have already fought. That would be an amazing thing to do for bosses that really gave you trouble, and then you could go back and easily beat them. I have unlocked time travel, but I haven’t used it yet because I don’t want to lose all my hard earned upgrades. The second thing that bugs me is the bosses and how hard they can be. I can have a boss on each world that I am stuck on and I would be unable to make any progress. I wish that I would be able to select when I want to fight a monster, and then be able to go back out and farm coins if it is to hard. Other than that the game is really good. You must play this game.

Things I’d want changed
You know when you’re on codex and It doesn’t show A very good picture yeah that’s what I want changed like with Gaira it just shows a picture of his body in black-and-white and then shows a picture of his head in black-and-white it’s not a very good photo selection if you ask me because here’s the thing I want to see a in color version of the monster I’m looking at rather than a black-and-white version that I can’t even tell what color the monster is not saying that the game is better or anything but a little advice on the color change would be good maybe an update for the picture or something I mean I think that would really be good for the like you know whole photosystem at least with Sanda it’s one picture of him in black-and-white and then one picture in color and for some of the other pictures I’m not just saying that those two monsters are bad I’m saying the black-and-white pictures could be updated to color pictures but for the rest of the game I’d say it’s really good so far I’ve used the time travel setting twice i’d say it’s really good if you get stuck on a monster i’m coming for you Godzilla 1984!!!!

10/10 for GDF, awesome suggestion!
I’ve been playing this game since it was first released in May 2019. It’s been real and it’s been fun. I’ve invested so much time into it and has become the staple to my mobile gaming experience. Hear me out guys, because I have a great suggestion. Incorporate the legendary Godzilla universe into it. Add three new city locations which would include Hong Kong (Godzilla versus Kong 2021), Boston, Massachusetts (Godzilla King of the monsters 2019) and San Francisco (Godzilla 2014). Each city will have a mixture of the kaiju from the legendary movies and the classic Toho movies. Example: Hong Kong would include Kong 2021, Godzilla 2021, mechagodzilla 2021 and so forth. Boston would have King Ghidorah, rodan, mothra, and Godzilla 2019. San Francisco would have the mutos, Godzilla 2014 and so forth. Each progressing stage would have its own normal smaller monsters to battle up toward these legendary kaiju at the end of the 10 waves. By wave 40, 80, 120, etc, would have the different legendary Godzilla’s to fight against with each one being progressively stronger. That was my rant but I hope you consider it as a cool idea to incorporate the legendary universe into the game. Thanks for your time.

My Opinion
I love this game already to bits,I love how when you defeat a monster you get its card and codex, and you can see its codex which contains 2-3 photos and a brief description, along with what year they were featured in their name, that is only for some though, which is perfectly fine! I also love how it doesn’t force p2p. You can slowly rise and rise, watching ads for auto tap lets you level up said auto tap by watching a specified amount of ads, if you do so, your time of auto tap goes up, and it levels up by 5 minutes. Making it almost insane for you not to watch ads! The only thing, the one and only thing that I want the game to change, is when losing to timed bosses, don’t keep players on the screen and what not, give a give up button that lets you go back a level and get more gold to get stronger. Instead of keeping a player stuck on the bosses screen until you watch so many ads for coins and for bonus damage. Please! This game is the best one so far in the mobile series! Keep it going! And listen to what I say maybe!

Honest Review. Read if you’re interested.
I’m writing this after my experiences. This game is fun, a Godzilla-themed idle. It’s fun up until certain levels. I’m currently stuck on Godzilla 04, AZ, and have been for the past week. It’s been so hard I’ve actually found something else Godzilla flavored to cure my hyperfixations. This game has so much potential. All of your hard work without spending money goes to waste on these later levels. It’s either grind for 3 months straight or pay 20 bucks to get good cards and enough coins to beat a level. And the moon. The price of the moon is frankly insane. When I got to NY, my highest currency was JJ. It’s KK now, but even that is so far away from MM that it makes me lose interest. Games like these are really fun when you have to put in a certain degree of effort but not so much it gets bland. I’m not being petty, but it’s outrageous how hard these later levels are, even if you’ve played for a few months like I have. As a final note, I’m hoping this gets resolved and slightly easier like before, or at the very least a developer response because this game is losing its charm and overall my respect.

Ok so I’d like to revisit my previous review as it wasn’t fantastic, it was just kinda “this games bad the end.” There are some great things about it for sure, the animations are great and the overall look of it is fantastic for a mobile game, plus it’s got a lot of cool stuff people who like Godzilla will love. However for a free game I accept there need to be in app purchases but I feel as though the prices definitely need to be lowered a few dollars compared to what they have now, I don’t know what kinda money nexon makes off of the game but I think people may be more inclined to actually buy your product if it’s not too expensive. I also think there need to be a few more modes of play or at least one other as I can see the game being not too entertaining after a while with the same kind of gameplay. One last thing, I think there needs to be a button or two someone can tap, My hands aren’t very fast but I can still see some bosses being unnecessarily difficult without out it for other people, also when I tap my hands on the screen I very often pause the game on accident and can’t see a thing to boot. But the developers seem to be very responsive to the reviews so that’s a step in the right direction, I hope nexon takes some of these things into consideration.

See, I’m a Godzilla fan as you are to. But the main issue with the game is that is super Grindy it feels. It feels like MK11 the month of its release. But instead this one wants your wallet to get things like upgrades for cards, cards, and currency to upgrade your base. And also I forgot mention, it’s a clicking game. There’s nothing really cool about that, but that’s alright I don’t mind. Finally, one last thing why is there a time limit on the boss battle that’s really dumb and I feel that’s not a lot of time to work on, if I were in there shoes I put it at 120 seconds.————————————————————————————————————————-Here are the good stuff is that the roster of cards to collect is a massive overhaul of Toho Kaiju I’m mean there’s Characters that haven’t been lots of movies and media nowadays like ebirah, baragon (I think), and we got the boi Huge Electrode Plate Device I mean come on we got the big bois. Finally, the card artwork is kinda lazy I mean it’s an image just cut out of their respected movies, but there in game look is not the best but I think it’s really nice. I know I might had missed some parts, but I think this games can really be something great for the fans so that’s why I’m giving the game 3 stars I hope you can respect it

Good game 3 problems
This game is really fun and it has me hooked on it, one problem that I’m experiencing though is how hard it is to beat the bosses. It takes multiple days to beat one boss in the later stages and I have 900% boost from time travel and It’s still super hard. The bosses really need a nerf or we should get more time because it’s just so hard. The second problem with this game (or it could just be me) is that if you do stuff fast you could accidentally use all your gems like if you reach level 150 on a base and your trying to upgrade it with money but you accidentally use gems. This could be very annoying trying to get your gems back not to mention you could have used those gems to get 10x more money on the relief supplies. They should make a confirm button so you don’t accidentally waste your gems. The third and final problem is with the cards, sometimes when I use my cards I would put the weaker one first and then the strong one but for some reason it duplicates the weak cards boost but still takes away my G-cells so I end up wasting all of my G-cells and then I’ll have to wait longer to use them.

LOTS of Ad watching, but Worth It
I haven’t had this much fun playing a Godzilla game since “Destroy All Monsters” for the GameCube or “Save the Earth” for the Xbox! The monster designs are great, everyone is here, and the game mechanics and graphics are cool too :) No different than any other tap to kill game, but for kaiju fans, this is the game to get. Now, you get stuck pretty quickly, so watching the ads help. Unfortunately, in order to keep progressing at a continuous rate, you have to watch ads. A lot. Like, constantly. It gets tiring after a while, but they pick some cool adds to make it better, not to mention it’s just satisfying watching a kaiju boss that had been giving you trouble go down in two hits after watching a couple videos. I would suggest making the progression more balanced so you don’t have to watch so many darn ads, but that’s not going to stop me from geeking out every time I face my old kaiju friends head on.

Needs Improvement
The base idea is amazing. The game perfectly captures the feel of fighting kaiju and is very fun overall. I especially love the codex and seeing pictures of the monsters in the old movies. However, the game has many problems that are too much to ignore. First, the camera is terrible. You can barely move it and it does not respond over half the time. It makes tapping anything near the edge of the screen almost impossible. Another problem is that once you hit a boss level, you cannot go back to fighting normal monsters until after you beat the boss, but if you can’t beat the boss, you are literally stuck in ad hell until you get enough boosts to finally win. One other gripe I have is the constant disabling of your buildings in boss fights. In other games having some of your damage disabled isn’t so bad but in this game it is a huge screw-over. Every second counts when you are fighting a boss and on top of that, if you are tapping your buildings to repair them, you will most likely miss any weak spots that appear on the bosses. TLDR: Game could be amazing if the devs actually fix the stupid mechanics that are in it at the moment.

Pretty much everyone else’s review
Why the hell am I playing this game? Because my friend told me to and I already made too much progress to quit. I ain’t complaining about in app purchases because I didn’t find it too pay-to-win. Also, I get some really bad ads. Atleast make it skippable, and not the “lose your reward” skippable. People say you have to grind a lot, but in less than a month I beat Tokyo, almost beat London, and unlocked Sydney, and I only play the game like an hour a day. Also, I am mixed with the tapping simulator stuff. You could’ve done way more, but I’m okay with tapping the screen tons of times, and don’t ask why. I would’ve give it a 3.5 if I could. It’s an okay game, and I would play this over almost EVERY simulator game, but they could’ve done more. Note: this review is from someone only starting to get into the Godzilla franchise. He never watched a Godzilla movie, and won’t watch King of Monsters because he’s a scaredy cat. Also, he played 2 other Nexon games, and quit playing one of them. Edit: He’s actually watched KOTM and is not a scaredy cat

Good Game
I do like the Godzilla lore and everything else like the movies and such. I recently did get back into it after somewhat dropping my interest. This game popped in and I thought it was pretty cool. I have only just beaten Godzilla ‘99 and unlocked London but it is a really good game. What makes it not-a-perfect game is that collecting money takes F-O-R-E-V-E-R. It should be that the more you level up a defense, the more you get back from it (and if it is like that, raise how much you get back to it). That daikaiju are also so extremely strong after awhile. I had to fight Rainbow Mothra practically 10 times before I got it right (I ended up getting SS rank so I’m happy) and then I had to fight Godzilla ‘99 (the Orga one) tons of times cause he was too strong. It is a good game (even though it’s just another clicker with Godzilla slapped all over it) especially if Godzilla is of your interest. I haven’t had the though of deleting it. But with that being said, if the devs end up reading this, I want you to take into account what I have said please and as always, thank you for your time.

KOTM cards?
I love this game. One of the best games I have on my phone if not the best all together. I’ve been playing for a while and have really been enjoying it so far. Some of the major fights like with the occasional Godzilla and the ghidorah I am stuck on right now take a few tries to beat but that’s fun in its own way. Personally I feel like it makes the defeat of the monster a lot more satisfying and rewarding. My only question is when the King Of The Monsters cards might be added or if they will be added at all? I would love to see the new Ghidorah and Godzilla have their own cards. I’d also love to see the 2014 Godzilla get his own card as well but... haha that movie was kinda lame. But seriously, this game is awesome and I love the hard work and dedication put into it. You can tell it isn’t just a money grab when you get decent cards just by waiting a few hours to open a pack. Thanks for making such an awesome game. Much love.

I think Ludia should make a Godzilla game
Ok for a very long time I’ve wanted a Godzilla game for mobile but I don’t really like this one all that much I would prefer something similar to Godzilla vs or Jurassic world the game but on monster island now don’t think I’m saying the is bad it’s not I just ain’t too interesting. Okay soo I don’t really like the game mainly because it’s just well tapping that’s about it and there should probably be a easy mode I’m kinda just turning into a teen so ya but anyways I’ve loved Godzilla for about well ever since the 2014 trailer soo ya at the very least I’m glad there even is a Godzilla game for mobile soo thanks I guess also you might wanna add some Godzilla’s and maybe add in some custom kaiju idk if it would be a little too much to ask for a customizable kaiju but I asked anyway (oh btw this is all just my opinion and monster island buddy’s)see you around

Cookie clicker, battery burner
Nice graphics, very nice attention to both the classic Godzilla monster lineup and good reference material from the great TOHO Studio monster collection. It is lacking the classic TOHO Godzilla fight buildup music (think of the Scooby-Doo theme music immediately setting the tone of the story). If you love Godzilla and don’t mind Cookie Clicker gameplay this is an excellent game. Biggest problem is the BATTERY ROASTING FACTOR, the battery gets very hot (at least 40°F thermal increase) while playing a very minimal animation game which indicates poor App optimization. I strongly suggest this problem gets fixed as soon as possible as having your iDevice explode the battery is non-optimal since my last 64GB iPod had its battery swell, pushing out my screen and cracking it, which is more APPLE’s crappy hardware & software design issues more than anything along with criminal Forced Obsolescence (which will kill Apple itself very soon as the Upgrade Treadmill is on it’s last legs for Smartphones since they’re at the “Good Enough” genericization End Stage).

So I’ve seen all the movies I have most of the books and I just love gojira that’s Godzilla’s other name for you but anyway I am so grateful that someone has actually made new Godzilla game I’ve been waiting for what seems decades and finally I love the art style and how the game makes you feel like you are actually the soul character one thing I want though is that there would be more kaiju (sorry if I spelled that wrong) that would fight the boss or the enemy I know that there are already some of them but I think that there should be more that aren’t Godzilla’s but that’s kinda it if the creator is reading this then I hope you profit from this game and you are one of my idols😁😁😁😁🤑I play this and think “huh I wonder if other people enjoy playing this game even though it just came out please keep doing updates your legacy will live on forever 😊 well see ya 👋

More time and other stuff
You need to get more time for boss battles because 30 seconds is not enough time to defeat a boss. Also it doesn’t feature all of the monsters from the movies. Like seriously you should add Kong and the monsters from the American films. Also things are way too expensive. Also more kaiju dungeons. And if you’re going to do a dungeon of a movie then you should add all of the monsters from that movie. Because the Godzilla vs gigan dungeon does not have anguiris. Plus after you defeat all of the monsters in a city you have to defeat all the monsters again. And again. Also more ways to gain x-nium like the only way to get that stuff is to kill bosses or getting achievements. But I know the chances of anyone reading this are slim but if you developer’s read this then thank you.

Go to Staff
This game is excellent for Godzilla fans, i really have an special place in my heart for this game, and Staff only made me fell more in love with this game. One thing I would really like is that they add Legendary Godzilla, MUTO, Mothra 2019, Rodan 2019 and King Ghidorah 2019, but I know that they now are in Legendary and you’ll need to ask permission and all of that, so I won’t press too much for it, the only thing I would like to be fixed is this problem I’m having sometimes when i’m about to see an ad to get a buff or when I’m getting out of the menu that the game closes and puts me in the menu of my phone, my phone is an Iphone 6S (in case it has to do something with the model), and it’s the only thing I would like to be fixed, overall one of the best killing time games in my opinion, and in my opinion, is on my top 3 best games to get in the app store

Fun, beautiful, simplistic, tribute to the Franchise
What an amazing game this is. The graphics of the monsters and their sound effects are amazing. I’m playing on an iPhone XR so it may look better on the newer models. But the game is tons of fun and you really don’t need to spend money to utilize and enjoy the whole thing. That’s what I love most about this game. The developers put a lot of thought into balancing the ads vs in-game payments vs free-to-play mechanics. Really wonderful job. The ads are short. They are not too frequent. And they help a ton when you get the reward. It’s not like you have to watch so many ads just to progress a baby step. The rewards are scaled as you progress in the game. And it’s just really well done. There’s a lot of history and really cool archival pictures of the monsters. Just well made and thought out. Great job!

Idk what to say here tell me when to stop
I’m back yay anyway’s on to the update First the staff it’s a really good idea and fun but I have a few ideas for it first off maybe add more things to it like add the military plus maybe change Rodan to a helicopter I do like Rodan as it but I think a helicopter is better next characters for staff maybe you can add more characters to it I really want the Showa big-G and you can switch and stay as a character why I don’t really like keep being jet jagwar and lastly more mini games like a side skoler a smash bros theamed game a one where you try to take down a kaiju/titan and many more now let’s talk about my make or remake a kaiju idea So this is some ideas how it well work first it’s well tell you the steps (now I’m just going to tell you them) step 1 do a outline step 2 pick skin step 3 pick or make a eye step 4 color step 5 make attacks or if it’s a ailly pick a power step 6 make a card if it’s a boss fight step 7 test and step 8 finish Hope you liked the idea now lastly ailly’s Maybe you get more chance’s why I didn’t get to get minila and here’s some ideas for a ailly Shin Godzilla’s skeletons that comes out of his tail Godzillasur minila from final wars godzilla jr all versions and new born mouthra And that’s it there maybe bad speiling but hope that’s ok tell me when I can stop making reviews bye =D

Great game and all, however...
I really love this mobile game, in fact it’s the only mobile game I will ever play(unless another Godzilla game is released). That said, this game is missing a few kaiju. I have scrolled through all these reviews and all except one reviewer has bothered to ask the most important question. For all these reviewers on here saying they are true fans of the Godzilla franchise, I fart in their general direction! And so I ask this question, where are Varan, Showa Anguirus, Showa Manda, Showa Kamacuras, and Baragon ‘65?? How dare they call themselves true fans if they didn’t even bother to notice that these kaiju were missing in this game!! Other than that, yeah there are few things in this game are overpriced. Still, love the collection of kaiju here, just needs the aforementioned above to add to the collection.

Thought I finally found a good Godzilla game
Okay I like how this game includes all the good Kaiju and the mechanics are good but there are three things. One the difficulty is insane, it shouldn’t take me years to defeat Battra and yet I have been playing this game for years and I still haven’t defeated him. Two you guys don’t update at all and I would like to see things like Varan Giant Condor Frankenstein and other things like that. Number three is that it should take me 678 aa or whatever that means to get people that fly. I mean the game is alright but there are less benefits then there are benefits. Also the kaiju cards are pretty much useless unless you go back in time because trust me I thing Godzilla can do less than five damage to Battra bro like what??? I was gonna give Yall a solid three star but I almost ignored the fact that you can spend multiple minutes in ads and still not even get 10 damage down. I’m deleting the game and I don’t wanna see it again such a disappointment.

Absolutely Love This Game
I am absolutely loving this game but it does get pretty difficulty when you get to the very 1st Godzilla fight. Also it would be so amazing if there was a way to just start killing the normal enemies again because if you lose on a boss fight you can’t go back to killing normal enemies again until you beat the boss fight because the only thing you can do then is just click on revenge over and over again until you beat the boss Also a little tiny issue that has popped up a couple of times is that sometimes the normal enemies don’t show up and I have to close out the game and then go to it to get the enemies to start showing back up again and so far the only boss monster that has also done this is the Rodan 55 boss monster

I’m Loving It
Great work on this one thus far! Basic units are a bit underpowered in the beginning stages. However, given the story requirements and tutorials I suppose I understand the reasoning. So long as they don’t remain that way permanently we have no problems...you and I 😉. One thing I need to suggest is that the slide feature be adjusted so that tapping on the screen doesn’t continually slide everything around. Like maybe hold and slide instead of swipe to slide. The issues I am running into with that are all of my menus opening at random while tapping the screen and it sliding. It is especially annoying during Kaiju battles. Just some Minor UI adjustments and all is well. It is still worth a load for certain and deserves its 5 star rating.

Problems I have with the game
I love Godzilla and for a while I have being trying to play the game but it won’t let me it shows the title screen and then it loads and then it says restore data and then It says to check my internet connection when I have full bars and then it says return to the title screen and then I tap on it again and then it loads and stays at that screen and when I exit out of the game and go back in it does the same thing and this has being a problem to me because I love Godzilla more than the weekends after school and because I know everything about Godzilla and I have seen every Godzilla movie and it was fun to me battling my favorite monsters and I hope you can make an update that can fix it so I can play my favorite game again thanks for your time and have a nice day

Love this game! - Read for tips
So far, I’ve spent about 12 hours in the game and made it pretty close to going to the moon. I’ve watched countless game ads and only have time traveled 3 time to get to where I’m clearing the first 4 maps without using the help of Godzilla. If you’re patient as I am, you’ll be able to get through the game but with time. It can be done but not impossible. It does get tedious watching the ads over and over but maybe if the ads were shorter, it wouldn’t be a problem. I suggest that you time travel if you can’t beat the kaiju’s after getting the three boost and upgrade your artifacts. That’s what I would of do if I were to replay the game. Other than that, this is game is enjoyable to pass time.

BEST
This game is good buti if it isn’t in the game please ad Godzilla singular point characters like ultima or jet Jaguar. Other than that it’s a pretty good game. And I read someone’s rating to be a monster which gave me an idea for PVP so for example a person would choose a monster that they have the other person would have to fight but you have to own the monster’s card to have the other person fight it. And also something else maybe a 2 person mode like if two people are stuck on one kaiju they could look for help and then they would fight it together until 1 person leaves the game ,the kaiju destroyed the city or it’s dead

My Thoughts on this game
Well first of all I am a huge Godzilla fan in general. And I love pretty much anything that Godzilla is involved in. This game is pretty great for a mobile game of corse. The graphics are great for a mobile game. The sound effects feel great and addictive. The models for the characters look awesome for mobile. The gameplay however could of had a bit more variety like different modes like you playing as the monster like that. And there is no variety otherwise. I don’t want to spend 3 hours in my car on a road trip watching adds about Groupon and grinding just to get past Monster X. Otherwise the game is not really meant for the average gamer it is only meant for G fans and other Toho geeks. So I give it four stars out of five Good on you Toho and whoever made this game. It is awesome!!! 👏👏👏😀😀😀

Great game but such a chore
I’m a huge Godzilla fan and I do like the game very much but sometimes it can be a chore. For example Godzilla “03” took 3 time travels to finally beat him and getting to him is also another chore unless you have the right cards. Speaking of cards I feel that some of the kaiju battles are pointless to me because I never use there card so if you could change some of the cards that would be great. If you haven’t gone to New York yet on the game let me tell you it’s a nightmare it’s like playing on easy then the the last boss just beating you overtime and over again. And the last thing is the timers can you make normal kajiu battles 1min and Godzilla 1min 30sec pls. But other than that the game is great and would recommend to any Godzilla fan! or to anybody really!

Games ok if you like tapping your screen and doing nothing else.
I don’t know how games like this keep getting made. I suppose if people keep playing, the developers will keep getting money, and they’ll just keep doing the same thing over and over. That being said, here’s the nitty gritty. The graphics are nice, and it’s nice to see the Kaiju on screen and go “Hey, I saw them in a movie once.” but after a few days you realize you’re just tapping a screen over and over doing really, well... nothing. Everything’s pretty automated and you’re only reward for doing well is the ability to not have to watch an ad. There really seems to be no endgame to this. You just keep tapping forever. And when the novelty of seeing your favorite Kaiju wears off, what’s the point of continuing? You’d probably have more fun reading the Wikipedia articles about your adversaries than grinding out taps to get a “codex entry.” If you’re looking for mindless “slot machine” like entertainment, this will give you lots of bells and whistles, but if you crave substance and story, look elsewhere. This isn’t a game. It’s barely even a strategy app. It’s a “distract-you-with-things-to-look-at-while-we-make-money-off-your-guilibility” app.

Phone Breaker
I have an iPhone 11. I’ve played several different games on it such as Call of Duty: Mobile and Transformers: Earth Wars, but out of every game I’ve played not one of them managed to actually do damage to my phone. I wish I could say the same for this game. I played for maybe an hour or two. To start, although I was constantly upgrading my base, after the first few Kaiju fights it’s almost impossible to defeat a Kaiju without watching ads, spending money, or grinding like crazy. Now, the reason I called this game a “Phone Breaker”. I played up until the fight against adult Biolante. Once I managed to finally defeat Biolante (after watching probably 6-7 ads), monsters stopped appearing, my units were attacking air, I could not minimize the game, lock my screen, or even turn my phone off. I had to WAIT FOR MY PHONE TO CRASH to even be able to leave the game. Needless to say, upon restarting my phone I immediately uninstalled the game and will not be reinstalling it out of fear of my phone actually becoming unusable as a consequence. I do not recommend this game, and never will, unless you have the most technologically advanced device known to man. If you do install this game, use EXTREME caution. You may be buying a new phone in a few days.

Stopped Working
I re-downloaded this game a few weeks ago because I remember it being fun, and I’ve been playing it every day since then with no issues. When I logged on today, I got an ad on the startup screen that I’ve never seen before and thought it was weird, then I realized it was also giving me ads when I switched locations. I exited out of the game and opened it again, and this time the game just didn’t finish loading on the startup screen. Now I either get the ad and am able to open the game or I just can’t open it. I don’t understand why I am only getting these ads now and it’s frustrating because more often than not the ads don’t pop up and I just can’t open the game. I was getting back into the game but if I have to roll dice to decide whether or not I can even open it I’m not touching it anymore.

Opinion and advice
This game is definitely a great game for Godzilla fans and idle game fans so if you like cookie clicker or other games like that this is your game. It won’t be for everyone, if you are looking for a game where you fight as a monster than good luck with that. Also some advice for players, if you for some reason are doing no damage and can’t progress, close the game, it is glitched and closing and opening it will fix the issue. I got this glitch when I first opened the game and sat there for ten minutes waiting for more coins lol. Overall, great game. King of the monsters/10 would slaughter animals being controlled against their own will again.

Enjoyable game, but updates make it feel longer for worse
I’ve been playing this game about a day or two after the release of it. With much time spent and hours dedicated to it, I’ve noticed how the updates seem to make things harder. I’m not sure if balancing is the reason for it, but I noticed the increased amount needed to upgrade bases as well as time taking to get to the next city. The game is enjoyable even with the updates making it more “difficult” in the sense that more time is needed to beat certain levels once more difficult cities are reached. I hope that these updates don’t make it take even longer to reach further in the game because I was making “rr” money, to now barely scratching “oo” money.

Pretty good game(great for Godzilla fans)
I love this game to bits even though some bosses are to hard and the time travel thing is a weird mechanic I can put that behind with all the Godzilla references and awesome gameplay. It’s definitely not perfect as it’s a very grinding game and I actually deleted this once because I got to a part of the game that was just to difficult.2 things I wanna say is that 1: if you could please add legendary Godzilla I’d be so happy because even though he’s not part of toho he’s still a great version of Godzilla 2: the rankings of some of the Kaijus are wacky like why is jet jaguar a 5 star but destroyah isn’t. I’d like to see a bit more consistency of power scaling. Overall great game and for the time that I played the game it was 100% worth it

Pretty good.
Really fun. One or two problems. First, there are kanji no one has really heard about that are extremely O.P. Bosses (Another Problem), and really famous ones that are really easy in the grand scheme of things. At one point I got so sick of the inaccurate roars and how hard the freaking gameplay was that I uninstalled the game. I’ve redownloaded it sense then Also, can you make the person who teaches you how to play the game some battle hardened looking soldier instead of some Japanese woman in her early twenties. It would make the game more realistic. And also, when you fight a boss, there should be little bubbles that if you hit, give you buffs like damage and improved production. Please fix this.

Good but not the best game
Okay to be fair it is a good game. I think of it highly seeing as how I am a Godzilla fan myself. It is clearly shown that they put a lot of effort into the game. Adding some kaiju you barely see. I do in fact have a few criticisms. First I thought that the button tapping fights got stressful on the thumbs. As for my second complaint is the fact that the kaiju don’t actually fight. I would seriously enjoyed the heck out of this if we got to see something like ebirah fight megalon! Instead we just get an attack card type deal. That was a little disappointing. I get that coding is hard but maybe you could make like a animation for every monster. It would be tedious but it would be a labor of love. All in all good game.

Decent game, very ad heavy
This game is pretty fun for being a clicker game. I will say I have played it quite a bit and have finally decided to write a review. While I like how this game is in the Godzilla universe every time you fight Godzilla or another monster (which is every 10 levels) get ready to watch at least 3 ads! It’s absurd! It certainly doesn’t help that you only have 30 seconds to kill one of these kaju! This time needs to be increased by at least another 30 to 40 seconds. It is also really stupid how insignificant troops become once you upgrade new ones, it is kind of infuriating, like I know that new troops are going to be better, but don’t make my first troops I get start doing .02% damage during a fight! Overall this game is decent but it definitely needs a lot of work.

It’s not enough where the American Godzilla!?
I like this game a lot I Been playing it for years now but I wonder when are they gonna add more monsters like 2014 Godzilla or king of the monsters it just boring when u complete the game u got to time travel back and fourth. I just want the American Godzilla and other monsters in the king of the monsters movie to be in the game including with Godzilla Vs. Kong coming out next year it’s just sad seeing this game slowly fade away from me. Show the American Godzilla some love at least add monsters when the release of Godzilla Vs. Kong is out that will be ok but I’m just disappointed 4 months ago all that’s new is items in the shop i don’t need that I’m already maxed out just please we’re waiting!

Time travel bug.
It just recently started but every time I time travel, when I reach level 5 again the tutorial to time travel comes up again and the only way to get rid of it is to close the game and start it up again. I made it to Arizona then time traveled and it’s been doing that since, I’m at the point that the tutorial time shards don’t matter because I can’t buy artifacts with it. I can continue playing it I close and open the game but if I time travel I’ll have to go through that again. Honestly though I love this game, I love Godzilla related things ever since I was a little kid. Please do try to fix this issue though.

Favorite Idle Game
I don’t typically write reviews but honestly I really enjoy this game and thought it’d be worth the time; and it was, definitely my favorite Idle Game on the appstore- the game goes quick so you never feel stagnant (as long as you time travel frequently) which is my biggest problem with Idle games, the art style is incredibly pleasing, the mechanics are pretty intuitive and ultimately its gameplay loop has me hooked! Note if any developers see this and respond (unlikely due to the games age but still: It’d be nice if there was an option to have Yui (the in-game assistant to refer to you as Ma’am instead of Sir)

Long Time Godzilla Fan Here
This is a pretty fun game if you like some G nostalgia and are looking for a new game to pass some time. It’s a tappy tap tap game if you’re into those types PLUS it’s Godzilla themed! It’s nothing revolutionary buuuut I think this is the only Godzilla mobile game currently out there, if I’m not mistaken. If you like Godzilla, give it a try! It’s pretty easy. You DO NOT play as the kaiju themselves, however, but it ain’t all that bad. You defend the city from them. The monsters have their iconic roars and various looks throughout the ages. Good to pass some time with some mindless fun and kaiju mayhem! Definitely wayyyy better than the NES game titled “Godzilla 2”.

Poor boss implementation
The ground work for a good game is here, but the fact that when you loose to a boss, which is guaranteed so much so that for the first boss fight, you supposed to loose and they show you how to watch an ad to get buffs to try again. For some bosses, you are required to loose 3 times and get all 3 boosts to beat it. This game would stand tall and be one of the best clickers out there if it only let you return to the previous wave and farm gold til you are powerful enough to beat the boss, like every other clicker has done before this one, but no, they force you to watch ad after ad just to beat every single boss, which takes out the enjoyment and satisfaction of beating the each boss. Fix this one thing and it will be 5*.

Absolutely fantastic game, good job
Great game, I love the idea that any kaiju from the franchise can appear every ten waves and you can battle Godzilla at any given moment. The idea of tapping to send troops is a great addition, though the player should be able to send different kinds of defense by tapping on them. Flaws aside, I request that there should be an update for the new movie or an event for it. It would really be cool to see how the characters evolved over the years and even modern versions of the other kaiju, like destroyah or Gigan. I’m just telling you how well you did on this and some improvements to make in the future

So SLOW!!
The fight sequences are so slow!!! I’m sure there is pride to the staff in all the animations for each individual monster to get into place before any damage input is registered. I wish every boss didn’t need an introduction especially when you’ve time traveled 20+ times and not to mention having to go through the fight success ratings like you didn’t know you’d get a high rank after getting 1000% attack multiplied through artifacts. It truly is getting to become a dilemma when I think to myself “do I want to time travel and go through all that waiting again? Or fighting the same boss without dealing any damage anymore while slowly grinding gold. Will rate better if speed and functionality is improved

Boring bad game
I got a 5 star card I think it was an orbital cannon in the free pack at level 2 and then you get a 5 star Godzilla at stage 50. What’s the point of having 5 star cards if you get 2 in the first ten minutes. Also is it just me or do the tap troop’s despawn if I have more than 10 on the screen what’s the point of that. Another negative is if you are on a boss and can’t beat it you can’t just go back to the bugs you have to get “Revenge” most of the time tapping faster or using different cards will not beat it let me go back to the bugs to grind money. Im not going into time travel like other reviews have because I didn’t get there and was already bored out of my mind already. With millions of idle games there is easily a far better one. I would only recommend this to a Godzilla nerd with no life because the roster looks big.
