I feel compelled to leave a good review on this app because when I was placing my order I noticed a lack of reviews that confirmed with certainty the gift arrived. Timeline; I placed the order on Monday and the gift (I got the MacLab MACAROONS) arrived four days later on Friday. Can’t comment on the quality however I am more than pleased with the service and the amount of time it took for the order to arrive. Will definitely be using Goody in the future.
So I got a $25 gift card from google local guy as a gift. I appreciate Google for doing this. However there have been so many obstacles with this application. One thing to know right away is that you cannot use the $25 gift card to buy gift cards. I guess it makes sense. Also the way they have their application structures is so complicated and so confusing to be used. They make the process very complicated and is a lengthy process. Also I don’t understand why I cannot remove my credit card off of the account if I am not going to be using it. I talk to the representative and they told me that for me to remove my current card I have to put in a new card. Ultimately the only reason why I am using this application to do any transaction it’s because I have a $25 gift card from Google for local guide. If it was not for that I would not ever see myself use this application. There are too many obstacles with this application and things are very complicated in this application.
I’ve experienced several issues with receiving my Goody gift. I selected my item and received confirmation that the item would ship and weeks later, when I reached out to customer service, they said that I had not indicated that I had selected an item. I redid the process and ended up on the same confirmation page. The representative that I spoke to was dismissive of the issue. After placing the order the second time, I did not receive any shipping updates from Goody or from FedEx, and when I revisited the redemption link, I landed on a page with the item I selected and no tracking information. I reached out yesterday, a month and two days after my initial redemption, and I was told that my order had been delivered weeks ago. I have not received it, and again, no indication of shipping from Goody or FedEx. I’m not sure if my experience was a fluke, but I’m very disappointed in this service. Was really excited to receive a gift from my team, but it has become a headache.
I think this app is full of great ideas. I love that you get a free $15 gift when you sign up and when you invite friends. However, I do feel that a lot of the gift options you get are blatantly overpriced and pretentious. Most of the food items are overpriced because they’re vegan and gluten-free, which is fine to some extent, but that’s pretty much your only options. I’d like to have more affordable options that are a little less targeted. Other than that, I feel that the layout and style of the app is gorgeous and there is a lot to offer here!
Like others have mentioned who have received a local Google guide gift for $25, this is not a user friendly App. It’s ridiculously difficult to figure out how to actually redeem the gift. The items for less than $25 aren’t vast and you have to account for the price of shipping as well so don’t count on a great gift. I opted for the popcorn which was stale and pretty inedible. Disappointed in the product and process pf ordering but they did send the product so it’s not a scam. Wish Google would just pay their guides as we should be for our time and photos instead of the ridiculous gifts that people can’t even figure out how to redeem.
I would have loved an app that allowed me to send gifts quickly and with class. This is not it. First, the gifts are worth (retail) a quarter of what they cost and this is evident to the recipient. Second, the presentation is far from top-shelf. The only good thing I can say is the promise it holds for a company who wants to offer quality gifts with an impressive presentation. They did have a really nice ecard which “unwraps” in text messages (SMS), but this falls far short of a nice gift presentation. The gift I sent was received in a typical cardboard box with cardboard packing materials and no nice packaging. The gift itself was cheap looking. Not good enough for my purposes.
I was sent a gift through Goody from a VC firm who only had my email address. The process was well-designed and I have quickly seen from experience how Goody can be used to build trust and strengthen a relationship in the business world. Goody has a wide variety of meaningful products to choose from. I really believe Goody is the future of gifting, and can’t wait to start using the platform more often!
This app is supposedly for those who want to send gifts to others on special days or events, but I don’t understand how this would work at all. Do I send the card a few days early so the recipient can get the actual item on the day that it’s intended to be used? Do I send the card on the day and make them wait more than a week for the item to get to them? Wouldn’t that just defeat the entire purpose of a special event? You’re pretty much paying more for an item with significantly longer shipping times. Save yourself the embarrassment and ask your recipient for their address.
I’ve never really written an app review before but i just felt like Goody deserved a 5 star one for their exceptional service. I have never been helped so fast and easily as their customer support helped me so fast!! It was awesome to know they’re really there to help if needed. The gifts they offer are so cute and unique as well! They’re a great app i recommend for anyone to check out! Amazing customer service :)
I also feel compelled to leave a review. I used this app on a whim without knowing much and I was so impressed with how user friendly it is. It’s such an innovative concept and so easy. Gift giving is tough to begin with but Goody makes it simple. I had fun picking out gifts and my friends LOVED reviving them! I think everyone needs to know about this! Great App 10/10.
Omg I love this company! How ingenius….send gifts simply by using the recipient’s cell number and, let them choose what they’d like if they prefer something other than your gift choice. Everything from the quality and price of the gifts to the communication processes (getting notified that the recipient has opened your gift or ordered something else) is just great!! Love love love Goody!
I love this app. It’s so easy to send a gift. It’s great if you forget to send a gift ahead of a special date. All you need to do is pick out the card and gift and the persons phone number. They get a text a gift was sent to them by you. I love Goody!! They also had a wonderful selection of gifts for any occasion. Best app!!!!
I love this concept. The prices are very steep though. I do like that they offer a free first gift though! However, it only has the coffee option and no one I know likes coffee, so I skipped it. It would be nice to have a couple of options for the free one! I’m keeping the app in case I decide to use it in the future. I would really like an address input area for surprise gifts! I’d send some to family this way instead of coworkers.
I’ve used goody a few times and it is so easy to send a thoughtful gift without much leg lifting. It also allows you to let a recipient pick their own gift which is nice when you don’t know what to give someone. Would recommend.
Everyone I’ve sent a gift to has loved the experience so far! Also, I’m using it to keep track of all the important birthdays I need to remember (more focused than using Facebook). Definitely recommend trying it out!
The app can get stuck sometimes but customer service is always quick to respond, friendly and helpful. I like that they are always adding more items to choose from.
Goody's is an amazing company that loves it's customers. Not only do you get $15 free, so does anyone that signs up. Then just having the app you get to send you friends and family free gifts from here to there. I just 💓 all their things and so does everyone I send stuff too.

I was given a birthday gift for a friend. I responded right away. For an email saying that I would get tracking email. Never got one. Had to follow up twice for status of my order. Got a response on chat that the vendor was delayed but literally took a month. Still don’t have my cookies and NEVER got a tracking number. Don’t trust this app unless you want to embarres yourself in front of your clients
I usually enjoy this app but it’s been advertising the new coin feature to me and that part is not working. I’m signed in (have had my account for several years) and when I add more birthdays, I don’t receive coins and I have none accumulated.
Gift arrived after 5 days… shouldnt have been a problem except the app didnt update the tracking info until the gift was delivered. And it says delivered the day BEFORE. Otherwise customer service was prompt in their replies so that was awesome
I love the idea! Especially with the pandemic, it gives users a different experience. Their products are great! And you get to try if it free! Must download!
Great App, but I wish we could send via email too. It would be great for co workers, and others who can’t check their phones all the time but could use a pick me up during the day.
I like this app and idea. You should add a feature where you can ‘favorite’ items to view later. Also you should include a pic of the nutrition info for the food items.
Literally can send a gift in minutes. I love that the recipients can swap (less waste) and the fun unwrapping experience. Pro tip: sync your a contacts and add birthdays!
Honestly I used this last year for client gifts and for my staff on bdays. It’s killer I just love it and everything is so unique. Great idea and great products and presentation to the recipients.

This is a cool app and it’s nice that they give you a free chocolate to gift to someone to try out the app. I sent my mom some gifts for Mother’s Day! Hopefully she will get them soonish

Google offered a promotion and I was never able to use it , from the first day it was out of stock. From my experience, customer support is also not responding well.
I received a promotion to try the app out but everything was so expensive and the promotion ended up not even being valid I am deleting this app I would never buy anything on it at that price point
I sent my first gift which was free. She got the notice, but they said they couldn’t mail it because it wasn’t in their zone. Unless this is fixed, I won’t use this app or recommend it. Maribeth

Account was deactivated. I had used referral credits prior to it getting deactivated and the orders are now cancelled and I no longer have those referral credits. Waste of my time getting those referrals.
I travel back and forth between Connecticut and California. More often than not I’m missing birthdays, graduations or holidays. This app is the easiest to navigate and send thoughtful gifts quickly, without taking much time shopping around or constantly putting in your credit card info. I think it’s a dope concept how the recipient receives a digital card to open as well; it adds a little sincerity.
So I’m not sure how this all works but from my stand point you can’t get in touch with anybody , even on the weekends by email , from the reviews it seemed as if it was a good app to send a gift to because it sent the card with a quickness. I was on board with it all after that , I was thinking it was same day delivery but I’m still not sure , I guess I’ll have an update after the day is over but it didn’t give a estimate time or tracking number after the gift receiver put in they’re address so , now it’s still saying processing and idk if that means it will take a couple days or a couple hours but all I know is that I feel scammed because You can’t get in touch with anybody and u can’t get a tracking number or new updates ... idk wha going on
