Does everything I need it to, except remember my login info
Every so often, and I’ve yet to figure out what the trigger is, my GSCU app will no longer allow me to use Face recognition to login and will also no longer auto fill my password. I have an IPhone that stores my passwords should I ask it to, but somehow just the ones for my GSCU will be spontaneously deleted from my password saver. Luckily, I have an old fashioned Rolodex I keep in a safe that has my login info written down in case my phone fails. But it is ONLY for this app that it happens, which leads me to believe it’s a bug or incidental trigger within the GSCU app. It’s only been a big problem once when I was away for a weekend and could not access my accounts or call the bank for any of my account info.
When you need to transfer money from one account to another this step is a blessing.
We are always running close to the edge. So when something is pending it’s great to be able to move an amount from savings to checking. I’m trying to avoid overdrafts. We live check to check. I save money for rainy days and use it sparingly. Everything costs too much for what it is worth these days. I’m glad to be with the credit union..
The facial recognition does not work any more and when I do open my app with my password it glitches and bounces me out of the app and have to start all over again. Not a big deal till you are on your third time trying to access you accounts. Fix this mess already.
I have cars use notifications set up for my card and my children, every once in a while it stops sending the notifications. Not a huge issue, but I have this in place to monitor for fraud for my kids especially. Doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason as to why it stops sending notifications and will start again just as sporadically.
After the update I am no longer able to login using the touch ID function via my fingerprint. However this function still works when used in other programs. When I attempt to initiate the touch ID the login screen freezes and the app will suddenly close. I have attempted several times to use this feature with no success. Otherwise I love this app especially the mobile deposit feature and speed of such.
I love how convenient the app is. The only thing I dislike is how many times you can transfer money from one account to the other in a day. Other than that I love it!
iOS 16.4 broke the app. I’m no longer able to open the app at all without it crashing. I can still access the website from safari but the app itself won’t even load the login page.
I get an error fairly often that says I’ve only taken photos of the front of my check. I have to restart the app to get it to work. This happens fairly often.
Every time since my first download the app shows white and closes itself out. Not sure if this is a new problem or current as I’m a new customer to GSCU and just downloaded the app a few days ago.
Before EVERY check I deposit I get a pop up asking for a rating or “Not now”. No “Never” option, which is what I would prefer. Instead, it feels like I have to pay to use the app with either a pop up or a review. So, here’s your review.
I contacted them to find out if they are going to update the app to allow facial recognition they said no so I asked how I can trust them with my money if they can’t stay up to date with electronics the person I was talking to said to have a nice weekend
This app keeps asking security questions non stop and i answer them and they still wont let me in! Some of them don't even make sense for me since i'm not In college yet and i don't have a favorite college resturaunt.. Fix this please!
Trying to sign in for the first time and there seems to be a bug with the security questions. I have answered every question twice and it is still asking. Can't get passed the screen...
There is a bug because this app doesn't work at all. It asks me to log in with a username which I've never created and also asks me random security questions like "what city was I married in"... I'm not even married.
