Yep, nice UI (particularly considering the nature of the service is relatively novel), with something like this it all comes down to whether or not you find prices lower than elsewhere, and in many cases you can. The street prices quoted can sometimes be set a little high, but I believe those are input by the individual sellers, so it’s not Green Toe’s issue. I find most folks believe this is only a camera app, but there are other electronics. Haven’t bid on anything outside of camera rigging but if they can deliver deals on TVs, etc then I’ll be telling everybody and their grandma.

I had never heard of Greentoe before googling an appliance and then seeing the process. I was leery given how many scam sites are out there but it checked out. I ended up buying 4 new high end Cafe appliances from Greentoe, made an offer on each one and ended up buying all four at amazing prices. I ended up saving close to $2k when compared to what the same appliances were selling for online or in the store (compared to at least 3-4 other major home improvement or appliance stores and websites). The responses to my offers were received within an hour of placing my offer. Two items were negotiated but at a very reasonable price response which I accepted. From now on, this will always be my go to appliance shopping website! They also have tv’s and other electronics but I have yet to try those as appliances were my only current need. I am still waiting to hear about shipping on 3 of the 4 items ordered 1-3 days ago but given the pandemic, most is running way behind schedule which is due to manufacturer delays. I highly recommend this site!! You will not regret it! Also, customer service responds timely as well. 5 stars!!!

I’ve had success with greentoe in the past. I’ve purchase camera gear for a significant savings and received brand new equipment from reputable dealers. This company seems to be struggling in a post-COVID world with equipment shortages. I recently put in an offer on a camera, was immediate accepted, and now the dealer is saying they have no timeline on when they will even receive the camera to ship out to me. Never on greentoe’s website did they say you might be purchasing an item that is back ordered or not currently in stock. I have seen other items with the “notify me when in stock” button, but this was not the case with my camera. I was never warned about this or informed at any point in the offer submission process, and greentoe’s solution seems to be to just have me call the dealer. I would think they’d be a bit more helpful and not rely on customers to do the work for them. Submit your offers with caution in today’s electronic world, it might be months before you get your item in hand.

Found this through a chat page and figured I would give it a try. I went with an offer for a top of the line oled and made the offer lower than what was out there on Black Friday. To be honest, I was expecting a counter offer. To my surprise, my offer was accepted. I purchased an excellent product at a price I didn’t think would be possible. The shipping took forever but I had read this to be an issue with large items and was prepared for that delay. When the tv arrived, the driver helped me into the house with it and there wasn’t a ding or even a scuff on the top or sides of the box that I could see. That was hard to believe for a 77” tv but it’s true. I would recommend and I will definitely use again. Actually I’m kind of excited to see if I can get some other things at prices like this!

After deciding I was going to purchase a high-end OLED TV, I did my research and zeroed in on an LG evo G4. I then began to research where to buy it. As as often the case with brand new electronics, most all retailers were selling the TV at list price. And then I spotted an ad from Greentoe showing a selling price over $300 less than anyone else. Greentoe??? What is that. Must be a scam. So once again, I did research, but this time on Greentoe. It didn’t take long for me to realize Greentoe was totally legit, acting as a middle marketplace, bringing buyers together with the underlying retailers, some of whom are willing to move products for very low margin. So, I pulled the trigger and purchased the TV through Greentoe. After doing the deal, Greentoe informed me of the underlying retailer. Several days later, I had a brand new LG evo G4 in my home. In addition to the great price, Greentoe pricing includes shipping and taxes. Overall, I saved the better part of $600 on this TV. Totally incredible! I’ve gone the same route for a matching soundbar, and it should arrive here tomorrow! Kudos to Greentoe for saving me big bucks on excellent equipment… I wish I would’ve known about Greentoe years ago

Update: changing my rating 1. After placing the order I was unable to get hold of the seller that accepted my offer. After 3 days finally when they pick up I was told they don’t have the camera in stock and it could take weeks before they can ship it. Don’t let the 2nd day delivery note fool you. Greentoe let this happen again and again and you will be charged at the time offer is accepted and good luck with getting your refund back. I have no other option but to wait for the seller to ship the item that could take weeks or months. Great idea, nice user interface (exception of lacking updates on latest market price of items) But it ends there, hard to get response back from the support team and you can only reach them through email. Out of 2 purchases one was very convenient whereas other one I am still waiting for delivery. I don’t think I will be doing business through this app again.

Everything works as promised. Placed offer, received acceptance from seller. Had to complete credit card payment before seller was revealed, and shipping notice came the next business day (purchased over a holiday weekend.) Seller is a reputable seller listed on the manufacture’s website as trusted seller. The only way this third party clearing house system works is when the buyers do not reveal the ultimate seller on line. While it might seem to be helpful to the seller, it actually damages their relationship with the manufacture. So, as excited and grateful as you might be, please use proper discretion.

I got a great TV for several hundred dollars off the lowest online price that was already on a huge sale. The customer service was quick to respond to help me cancel an order I no longer wanted before it was shipped which helped me avoid a complicated return process. My only suggestion is for Greentoe to add a customer service phone line. They only use email for this which left me uncertain of when or if I would get a response (though they did respond within 24 hours). Overall, my experience with the app has been very positive.

Update: I received my item on time.. Great as advertised, saved 30% on my purchase. Would recommend. But still can't login to the app after registering first online. I found green toe through a price search online at a discount. I made the purchase through the green toe website. The order still shows processing but the order was placed yesterday (so I'll wait in that). I downloaded the app and tried logging in and to my disappointment I keep getting the error "Ooops can't connect to greentoe right now..". So far "support" haven't replied even as a auto response that they received my email. Will update when things are resolved and or is received.

When I first found Greentoe I was skeptical. I figured it was going to be just like so many other websites or apps that promised big savings but always failed to deliver anything better than a normal sale price. I’m happy to say that I was wrong. I’m a professional cinematographer and in my business the equipment can be unbelievably expensive. I’ve used Greentoe now to buy four cinema lenses and I’ve saved thousands of dollars on them. I’ll be using Greentoe for as long as they’re around because they actually do what they claim! Highly recommended!!

I became obsessed with starting a home theater after I just moved out of my moms place and quickly learned about OLED TV’s. I decided YOLO and wanted to get the Sony A95k, but that bad boy costs a pretty penny. After looking everywhere for a good deal to no avail, I stumbled on Greentoe. It sounded too good to be true. I ended up paying for the TV and 5 years warranty for LESS than retail. In a world that tries to squeeze every drop of money out of you, Greentoe is an ally that I will cherish.

I wasn’t familiar with Greentoe and honestly was a bit hesitant , but after some research I went for it and I’m extremely happy I did. I purchased a 55” Sony A8H, got a great price and the support I received throughout was incredible! It was shipped within a day or so of purchase and I was extremely impressed with the care taken in packaging my order (double boxed). Overall it was an awesome experience and I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great deal.

We will see what we see but my new LG Oled already shipped today on the same day of purchase and the 5 year extended warranty was confirmed as well. Not in time for Super-Bowl but I still have my 5 year old Lg oled to watch it on -top of the line at the time E series that is exhibiting burn in. What a bummer. My Sony TV’s old XBR’s lcd are still going strong- gave 2 of them away. Tech was only 1080 back then.

I was hesitant when I first tried Greentoe. After learning how the site operates, I gave it a shot and made an offer on my first Sony TV. All I can say is I got a fabulous deal and the whole process from offer of a price to delivery went smoothly. Great customer service too! All I can say is it is worth one try and you will likely go back like I did for second TV.

It doesn’t seem like they’re maintaining this app very well. I couldn’t sign in to this app - kept getting an error message saying “Opps couldn’t reach Greentoe... try again later” (spelling error copied verbatim). I discovered that this happens reliably when your password contains special characters. So I went to the Greentoe website and changed my password to be alphanumeric characters only, then the app lets me sign in. They could use some more app testing, but judging from the infrequent app updates, my guess is that this isn’t a priority for them. So, my advice is to just use the website instead.

In my case I received a camera body but it wasn’t BRAND NEW, it was clearly opened and the battery retainer (yellow clip) was missing. All plastic was previously torn (maybe a customer return). For a roughly 8% discount I would not do it again. 10-15% would be the sweet spot if I was taking the gamble (and by that I mean it is a genuine USA model but it could be an open box return). Emailed them about a resolution that would be fair to both the camera dealer and myself but they didn’t seem too interested.

I was skeptical until I received my new in box television one week after ordering. Even better it was 40% off full price and 25% less than cyber Monday deals. Couldn’t be happier with my new Q9FN 65”. I upgraded to the LG GX 77” as did my brother through green toe. Only good experiences thus far.

Think of this as eBay but with business not with individual. Absolutely stumbled upon this as we were looking for a TV. Searched for what we wanted & gave an offer & got accepted right away and now the TV is in our home - even $300 lower than Costco. Highly recommend.

When I first used this site, there was a problem with processing the payment. I then had to wait 3 days for the money to be returned, but was then able to get the tv for the same price. I was able to get a great deal on a Sony OLED tv. I’m currently waiting on shipment. I would recommend anyone using the site pay with PayPal.

Saved money!! You place an offer and they will accept or counter offer. The process is easy and straightforward. Shipping was fast too!! Excellent concept! I saved over 30% over retail price. Retailer accepted my offer price and shipped out product in 2 days. Product arrived in excellent condition. Will definitely consider using this service again (and again)

First off, easily five stars for the app and it’s concept. Can not deny it is easy to use and will help you find deals providing you are somewhat informed of pricing in general. Don’t put down $1 for a 4K TV and cry foul. Now why four stars? Because you don’t know who you are dealing with until offer is accepted. What if it’s some retailer you have dealt with before and swore not to buy from again? It is a bit uneasy not knowing who or what is behind the screen. But overall, confidence is high and the app and concept is worth risking for.

This app used to be great and a place you could score really good deals. Now their “retailer network” responds to offers with pricing well over retail. The app is also lacking in ability to sort items and you are unable to filter out products that are not in stock, and there are so many that it seems more items are unavailable than available. It’s a shame because I’m concept this app could be great.

Don't let the non modern UI fool you - the promise is real. Managed to get an item several hundreds off what it normally goes for. The price you make / is offered is inclusive of shipping and taxes. You have to sign an NDA-like agreement after the offer is accepted to not share the merchant details to anyone).

Other than that one caveat, GreenToe is awesome and a place I consider buying from for everything else brand new. Definitely happy with my LG G3 purchase. Would do it again in a heartbeat

I was totally skeptical, and I really don’t want to pull the trigger, but I finally did! I saved about $600 on a tv and that’s not even including the tax! If you want to save some money, grab this app now! I know some of you have not heard of this company before including me, but I can assure you, it’s legit!!!

Read terms and conditions. They do not allow any sort of after purchase price matching, the retailers can sell you a product and then change the price the very next day and will not work with you for a price match. Happened to me with a $700 item, one week later now is on sale for $500 and the retailer sites Greentoe terms and conditions for why they will not price match. They instead state I can pay for my own shipping to return the item.

I think one thing this app could use is a wishlist/ bookmark and small little alerts for the user to tell them “hey this item on your wish list has gone down in price.” I like what this offers but that would make my experience better :)

They have the products you’re looking for. You name your price and maybe you get it or closer than anywhere else on the interwebs. Legit products for sure 🤙🏽. Free shipping and at least no tax in Hawaii.

I have never written an app review, but I felt called to do so on this app. This app saved me over $400 on my 6D mark ii that just came out a few months ago! I am beyond impressed. Not to mention it got to my house in 2 days. I will be shopping here for now on. Amazing app and works so smoothly!

App is okay. Good to keep an eye on the offers/ notifications, but few things don’t work in the app. Its never able to fetch the price info when submitting the offer in the app.

I got a great deal on a nice tv but I accidentally misspelled something for my profile. The customer support staff was very nice and responsive. Honestly so much better than I expected. I’m glad I went with Greentoe!

Little skeptical at first because I’ve seen a lot of these types of apps but let me tell you that Greentoe is legit. I saved almost 200 dollars on a vortex viper scope. The app works very well and the item showed up in two days. All hassle free. 10/10 would recommend.

1st time using the app I bit the bullet and made a large purchase for a TV and it came through within a week just fine. Don’t regret it one bit. 10/10 recommend

I was skeptical first about Greentoe and not sure how their process works. Entire process was seamless, their costumer is excellence and I believe I got a great value compared to other well-known retailers online. My first to go place for any electronics from now on.

You can’t name a price and expect the seller to agree to it. When you reject the counter price(actual full price) from the Seller. The people at Greentoe will email you asking why you rejected and if you understand the process here. Seems like the mission of Greentoe is to not name a price, exchange numbers back and forth.. its to accept the full asking price. Its better to just search online finding a good price and do a price match in store! Don’t bother with this app!

Got Yamaha RX-A3080 $500 cheaper than any place else on internet or elsewhere. Was sold by reputed Yamaha authorized dealer with proper receipt. Will gladly use the service again. The only complaint I have that there are some items that I wanted but were not sold via Green Toe.

I have only bought photography lenses on Greentoe for my Sony Alpha. They have been high end lenses and Greentoe has beat the market price every single time. I will buy other stuff here as well, but if you like saving money on authentic gear vs buying used, download this app!

The whole Greentoe process was pretty simple. I made my offer and the next day it was excepted. I feel that I’ve received a good deal on a great camera. I’m excited and expect to receive the G9 soon. I just received notification that it has shipped already. Awesome!

My son and his friends broke our 83 inch Tv In less than 5 months used Green toe to get a new one. It was easy and has shipped. Not sure when it will arrive but there is a number to call.

Haven’t received the product yet but it’s going well. The meter for acceptance seems to be a lie, but it’s not completely off.
