My Favorite Mobile Game
Hey! Normally I don’t write reviews, but this game is an exception! I highly recommend this game! It has something for everyone in it, for old and new vsynth fans alike! The music is amazing, and the fact that so many producers get to make songs for this game makes it feel like a huge collaboration, a love letter to vsynth! Now, this is a gacha game, which does deter people, but I will say, it is completely optional, in fact, the gacha system is more of a incentive to keep playing than anything else, which is how I think gachas should work! It’s nice having a game so reliant on skill and not being pay to win (as it should be, since this is first and foremost a rhythm game). I will say, the worst part of this game is the inconsistent calibrations for tapping notes. Sometimes you tap your screen and you get a miss, bam combo lost. It’s rather obnoxious and I hope it gets fixed soon. Of course, this game also has a rather intriguing and lovely story, one that weaves 5 separate narratives together into a cohesive and rather large world. These 5 stories are related to the 5 major groups and they offer something also for everyone, just like how vsynth SHOULD be. I won’t spoil anything about the stories, but it is DEFINITELY worth playing this game just for the characters/story. Overall, after playing this game for over a year and a half, I have had many great experiences and I love it dearly, despite some issues!

A review
I am obsessed with this game, it's my favorite app on my phone and it always brings me joy when played, I spent 5 minutes ranting about why my friends should get it to them and convinced 2 of them and 1 fell in love with it. I always play with my friends and I also play co-op and I am very rich, not to brag. I always play this game and never will stop. It is a game you can play with cellular data if you don't have good internet or any at all!! There's almost no down falls besides the lag in the game. I feel like it would be helpful if they made some of the gacha's (gacha's are things you can pull with in game money which contribute to characters.) weren't only for in real life money, but other then that this game is amazing and fun to play and It isn't an inappropriate game where you can give out information. It's also very helpful because if you are not aloud to have social medias then you would be able to get this game sense there really isn't any way to chat. Also an idea I have to add in the game is trading cards, it would be an easier way to get characters that aren't in the game anymore or are just in a japanese or english server. You can make it where a certain level and higher only can trade and make scamming harder to do (and i'm not saying you should scam!!). But, In conclusions I would rate this app a 10/10 with no hesitation if you are considering to get this game then you should.

Best Rhythm Game!
This game has a variety of JP songs. There are five levels, easy, normal, hard, expert, and master. Master is locked, and you have to get fewer than 7 good/bad/misses (how well you hit a note) to unlock it. And there are different levels (i.e. lv. 26) that tells how difficult this particular level of song is, as not all songs on each level (easy, normal, hard, expert, master) are the same difficulty. It has very high quality graphics and runs very smoothly. I have seen many complaints about the life system, and while, yes, you can die very quickly, it is very fair. It is EXTREMELY easy to get gems in this game (you get nearly 100 from completing a new song) and it requires only ten gems to continue. And if it is too hard, you can do a song less hard, or adjust the speed (of the notes), or go down a level (i.e. expert to hard). You can also build up life depending on what character card you have (you get different ones by wishing for them with gems), and if you space out the amount of notes you miss, you can miss over thirty notes in a song and still survive easily. It is not like other rhythm games in the fact that other games make you die or restart if you miss a single note. This game is one of my favorites. 10/10 would recommend to anyone willing to give it a chance.

So many glitches..
This game has to be my favorite game yet. I play this for 1-2 hours per day, it's very addicting. The only problem about it, is the bugs. I hope some people on here can relate with me, since these are so god awful lol. The first bug is when it kicks me out of the game right when I buy a gacha. this has happened to me around 4-5 times, and I'm already fed up with it. 3 out of those 5 times have been pulls with 3000 gems. As soon as I pull, it kicks me out of the game, leaving me with not knowing what I got from the gacha (yes I know you'll say "just check your cards, see if you have something new!" that is quite hard for me since I have many cards, and I don't really keep track of them.) or just flat out not even giving me any cards. The second one is the lagging.. I know they have fixed this many many times, but for people who are looking to get this game, please be aware of the lag. it's not always happening but when it does happen you can tell lol, and you'll have to reopen the game. the last one, might just be a me problem, but it's still annoying. often times when I'm playing a song it'll randomly lag and so then I might not get a full combo or the combo I wanted. This has been happening to me pretty much every time I play and it gets very frustrating. I hope the devs can notice me and tell me some ideas to help! Thanks for reading my rant lol, bye

Response to the responses and request
I really love this game. It has lots of content, characters, and it’s really worth the amount of storage it takes. All of you guys complaining about combos and the life system, you know this means your bad at the game when you die, right? Don’t complain because I’m sure most people here have multiple full combos and master songs and full combo on those etc. When you call the game hard, it’s just telling us you’re bad. But I would definitelly give this game five stars if it had a way to give us more crystals. I feel like it’s way to hard to get four stars and I might just have bad luck but I feel like we need an increased four star drop rate or something. And in some games you may know like genshin impact or honkai impact for example, the wishes you’ve done counts towards the next event banner too. That would make this game so much easier either that or maybe an easier way to get crystals. And I feel like there should be a way to get paid crystals by not buying them for overpriced prices. Because on event banners like pick a four star or something us free to plays are kinda stuck in the dumps. I know you guys need to make money, so maybe like 5 or so crystals in one paid crystal? It’s just hard to keep up some times if you know what I mean. But I totally love this game but wish there was another way to get characters I want. I would say, 4.5 stars or so.

A lot of fun with one major drawback
I really love this game. It’s hard to find rhythm games that keep me entertained for such long periods of time. My one complaint is the life system. It’s way too harsh for what it is. You miss 12 notes out of the literal hundreds of notes flying at you and you fail the entire level. It also doesn’t regenerate with notes you hit right like in beat saber. It just stays at whatever percentage it’s at until you hit one poor note and lose. I’d rather have a system like most rhythm games I’ve seen where the amount of perfects and goods you hit give you a little bar on the left. If your bar is at 70 or above, you win. Every right note brings it up a little bit poor or missed notes bring it down a little more. It’s a much better system then me messing up at the beginning and then losing at the end of the song because of it. Doesn’t matter how good you play the rest of the song, 3 seconds is literally all it takes for you lose an entire level in this game. And yeah you can spend gems to keep going but at that point you’ve paused the song to tell me I lost and now my groove is gone. Not to mention that starting a song from a pause is so harrowing, you most likely will lose again before you get used to the speed again. I really do like this game but the level system takes away from what I feel like could be a perfect music game experience.

Gacha rates...
The game is fun, I have lots of fun playing it! I love the characters, their stories, and most card designs are really beautiful. The songs' charts are really fun to play even when they are challenging. However, the gacha aspect of this game is rather infuriating. The rates are so bad you could waste 30k gems and get not even a single four stars. I have so many instances of this happening to me it's kinda sad. The only sort of "pity system" they have is when in standard card gachas, if you get enough points from pulling (50 pts i believe, which is 100 pulls with free gems and 50 with paid gems) you can get a guaranteed random 4star or a featured 4star (100 pts i believe, which is 200 free gem pulls and 100 paid gem pulls). But there is no such thing in limited gachas which makes it really hard to get anything even if you have a lot of gems 💔. It'd be appreciated if SEGA calmed down on the paid gems gachas since a lot of players can't or don't wanna spend real money on the game (like 25 dollars for 3k gems seriously?), and instead give us more free pulls. Also, it is sort of hard to get crystals as a player that has already fc'd all songs. I'm aware you can get it from challange lives, character ranks, tiering, etc. but it's tedious and requires lots of resources and time + at some point you can also run out of ways to get gems like that (if you're a really advanced player). Anyway, this was just an unlucky player ranting about the gacha system 🫡.

I LOVE HATSUNE MIKU
Hi I have been playing Colorful Stage for a year now and I love it now here are my very good reasons why I love it. I have become addicted to this game a couple of times ( mostly on gachas with character I want) because of the newer stories and songs. I have grown attached to the characters and groups, my favorite groups are Vivid Bad Squad and WonderlandsxShowtimes. Also I like reading the little conversations that the characters have with each other my favorite interactions are with Akito and Nene, but I have a request plz add Nene and Akito with a trust rank as well as Nene and Kohane. I love that you can edit your profile and the contest where you have to choose sides I think are fun. And the stories are so heartwarming and to be honest makes me cry sometimes (most times) which is hard to find in a game so good job. I have one issue and that is that recently it’s been kicking me out a lot, which is quite annoying in my opinion especially during shows that makes me so mad that I won’t play for the rest of the day, so plz fix this, also sometimes the lag gets really bad that I end up missing like 5-7 notes because of it, and sometimes the game just completely freezes I have to get out then back in again so please fix that too. Thank you for reading and I hope this was helpful.😊

a deeper mobile rhythm game
i love this game a lot, the stories seem to have a lot more emotional depth than the average anime-ish rhythm game, which is what i crave from similar games. the only reason why i wouldn't give this 5 stars is completely technology based. the game crashes all the time. maybe multiple times while i'm trying to spend my energy. i actually came to rate the game after it crashed during a show where i was about to get a full combo ): the energy cap is also VERY low. you can't even get a full night's sleep before it replenishes, which takes about 6hr if i'm not mistaken. despite the game being so new in english, it already seems like earning gems is going be an issue. ive played the game for about a week & have already ran out of area convos and have every character on a mid-level ranking, which seemed to be a big source of gems. there is also some model clipping during live shows/awkward movement & posing, specifically with kohane's outfit, which lessens the live show emersion/experience. i also do wish there were more vocaloid included in the cast of virtual singers, especially because there seems to be higher ranked virtial singers compared to meiko & kaito (sorry meiko & kaito fans), but i understand the creator's/company's reasoning for choosing those two. despite these grievances, i dont plan on quitting the game any time soon but hope there's some optimization eventually!

Add more Vflower songs lol
As much as I'd love to give this game a 4 or 5 star, I can't begin to explain how annoyingly bad the note registration is. I have had people watch me attempt to full combo songs i could full combo with my eyes closed on a good day, but the note registration is so bad that whenever i try to tap on the notes? NOTHING HAPPENS. Literally not even me missing the note, the registration has caused HOLD NOTES to end abruptly, the entire lane will stop responding, flick notes getting registered as missed even though i hit them very obviously. I want to enjoy this game and wouldn't you know it, one of the biggest parts of it is tapping the screen and not missing notes!! BUT YOU CANT DO THAT HALF THE TIME BECAUSE HALF THE TIME THE NOTES DONT GO THROUGH. Its embarrassing how bad this issue is, i cant enjoy the frankly absolutely wonderful songs you guys add to this game without having my blood pressure reach higher levels then the people on event leaderboards. It's annoying and I've considered uninstalling the game on so many occasions because of it. And part of me doubts you guys will do something about it. Other than that 10/10 game, characters are cool, the gacha system is as toxic as gacha can get, and the stories have me on the floor in tears 8/10 of the time and absolutely loving the event 2/10 of the time, other than the incredibly annoying beat maps and note registration issues, i recommended this game for any vocaloid rhythm game enjoyers

A few drawbacks. Otherwise, it's a great game.
This is my favorite mobile game because it has great songs and a fun gameplay. Though, there's a few things that really make the gameplay worse. For one, the lag is on another level. I get lag spikes every few seconds, always causing me to lose my combo. Also, it's kind of hard to set up the timing. It used to be easy, but now they just tell the player to move it up and down. Also, I know there's nothing anyone can do about this, but it's really annoying when a song needs to be paused and when you unpause it, you lose your combo sometimes. Also, a ton of words get censored for no reason. I tried to put "Nightcord at 25:00" on my profile, and it censored Nightcord and told me it was inappropriate. I get that they want to make sure it's safe for the people playing the game, but their system is a bit TOO safe at that point. Also, it would be nice if there was a way to move the layers around on the profile. In the profile editing thing, It's only possible to make a layer visible or invisible. It would be a good idea to add a feature where players can move the layers below or over another layer. Despite some of these drawbacks, this is a great game.

it’s amazing! needs a few improvements…
I love this game. It’s addicting, and I’m loving all of the vocaloid classics being added to the game. I also enjoy joining the virtual concerts, though I wish they were much longer. And lastly, the stories are well written despite some translation errors, and that’s coming from someone who’s not a native Japanese speaker. As other people have stated in their reviews, the gacha rate isn’t the best and it’s affecting my gameplay a little. I have a four star Len card, and I think he’s part of the release banner. It’s hard to rank him up when I need either 2000 wish pieces (which if we do the math here, I’d have to do a LOT of pulling to obtain) or one wish jewel (which, depending on what kind of pulls I get, is still hard to obtain). So I have all my three stars nearly maxed out, but I’m still on this grind for Len also because I don’t get enough materials from songs! Even if I use the highest amount of energy, I’m pretty sure the drops are randomized, so I don’t get many “cool pieces”. Additionally, the second material I need to upgrade this four star Len is absolutely hard to obtain (the rainbow bottle thing). I just wish materials were more accessible, or we could get materials every time we rank up. TLDR: gacha rate is not the best, materials to rank up/upgrade characters are difficult to obtain without super grinding and/or paying

It's wonderful... BUT
I want to get the bad things out of the way first. This game crashes, SO MUCH! It doesn't matter what i'm doing, it will still crash. Summoning in gacha, playing songs, doing stories, or even just loading the game, it all causes me to crash. I've tried the recommend fixes like turning off battery saver if it's on or closing all other apps but, no luck. It's really annoying and the game would be 4-5 stars otherwise, but the crashes are just so frequent and inconvenient. Another slight issue I have is that America servers are updated behind the JPN ones, but it's understandable and unavoidable I guess. I also dislike how when you pull for a three star, you could get a characters card that I have already. Though, the game has tons of pluses! For example, the gacha is really nice even for F2P players. The card art and voiceover for the characters are really nice. Along with the Virtual Singers' costumes, everyone's design is so good! Challenge, Coop, and Solo shows are really smooth and the selection of songs you can play is pretty wide. The band and card stories are mostly interesting. I could literally go on for much longer about what I like about this game but it's genuinely so good that we'd be here for ages. TDLR: Colorful Pallet is a wonderful and entertaining game with amazing characters, gacha, and songs. However, it's plagued with crashes which make the game super unfun. It's still worth trying!

paid crystals.
the game overall is good, but just recently I have bought two game packs which i was told was going to give me in total 3000+ crystals in paid+free. so i had bought the packs hoping that I’d be able to wish on a certain banner with my paid crystals to get a Tsukasa Tenma four star card. When I got the pack rewards, I found that I indeed had gotten 3000+ free crystals. But I had only around 800 paid crystals. I was definitely disappointed and felt a bit misled, but I thought it was better than nothing. So I decided to go use my free crystals on a gacha to try and get a Tsukasa Tenma four star card. When I did the pull I saw that it also showed me how many paid crystals I had. So I used my free crystals to wish, I used only my free crystals as I did not have enough to use my paid crystals for anything. When I did my ten pull I saw it had taken away almost half of my paid crystals. I have no idea why this had occurred. Im wishing on a banner where I need only free crystals, and I had enough for said ten pull. There was no reason it should have taken my paid crystals from me. I was confused so I did another pull, this time a single pull and it took around 200 more paid crystals away. Now I am left with 130 paid crystals, no Tsukasa Tenma four star card, and my money wasted. Moral of the story. Please fix this, or atleast enlighten me as to why this has happened. Or give me a Tsukasa Tenma four star card (I am begging.)

i was obsessed with this game for MONTHS, its story is super good and it introduced me to vocaloid! I love everything about the art, the characters, the songs… so i only have 2 complaints. 1, the game constantly closes when I play it because of the flick notes (and even some slide notes). They make me pull up too close to the bottom of the screen, and since I have an apple phone, it closes the app and it totally throws me off— not to flex, but I got pretty far into the game, and once you get into master and even some expert difficulties there’s like 20 flick notes a minute and it makes the game practically unplayable. This was the main reason I haven’t been playing for a good few months now… But now that I have it on my iPad, I was thinking maybe I could get back into it but NOPE. 2; i cant get the data transfer to work. I looked all over the support website, couldn’t figure it out. Nothing was helpful. So, unless I can get account transfer to work, this is my goodbye to Project Sekai. Thank you for the wonderful times and the distraction in class, but the fundamental design of the gameplay makes it so unenjoyable after a while, if not just impossible. Edit: okay actually I found how to transfer the data, but I had to look up a video when the website should have had it/ been more clear about it. First part still stands tho, especially on phone.

Surprisingly good?
This is probably the best rhythm game i’ve played in a long time. Which is saying something because I’ve tried quite a few by this point. I had played other games like Cytus ll and Arcaea, and they were fun and beautiful looking, but more than half of the songs were locked behind a large paywall, which was very annoying to put up with. Colorful Stage has a wide variety of songs, most of which are completely free, and the locked songs can be bought using in-game currency. What surprised me even more was that the game is infused with a gacha/rpg card game aspect as well, which is interesting. It adds a nice layer to the game. Gives you a reason to log on more often. The storyline, though simple, is really sweet and uplifting. Mafuyu and Kanade’s stories in particular really resonated with me. The designs of all the characters are so cute and i love how they all sort of fit with the theme of their group’s aesthetic. The vocaloids are also really sweet, like a bunch of caring older siblings or something. Of course, the best part is actually playing the rhythm game. Almost all the songs in the game’s catalog absolutely slap and the layout of the songs it smooth and easy to play. It’s just a good game in general. Highly recommended.

Great game but rude people
So the game is a really good game. No errors I had but there was 3 rude people. See I was in a coop show room and choose my song. Then the game selected my song and did the people select a mode? No they just spammed stamps like: Errr..or Seriously? Like if you guys didn’t like the song I don’t think you should waste your time still playing. Go to a different room instead of all teaming against me. And yes it was 3 of them all together. They didn’t even put sorry stamps they just kept on going after that and then I put a sorry kohane stamp but no. They kept on going and going until the room disbanded because of them simply being petty and not choosing a mode. Like don’t waste your time in a game if you don’t even like the song. Just go to a different room so people won’t get mad. It’s simple right? We don’t have to block each other for petty stuff. Just apologize and play the game or leave the room and join a different room. Please don’t ruin the game all for the song generator. Again no bugs or anything. It’s just the 3 rude People. Maybe if there was this: Recently played with thing then I would be a little better then right now. But the game is a really fun game. Also this was yesterday.

Very fun but crashes often
Started playing after Love Live decided to shoot itself in the foot, ProSeka has easily become my favorite mobile rhythm game since, I play daily. It plays very smoothly and I think the difficulty curve is just the right amount of challenging. The gacha system does not feel too predatory, though the crystals/microtransactions do seem a bit overpriced for what they are, in my opinion. My only gripe it that the game very frequently crashes. Mostly after gacha pulls, when seeing area conversations, and when starting story chapters, but sometimes when trying to actually play songs too. If it was just an occasional thing I would not be too pressed, but this is super common. I checked with my wife and brother who also play to see if it was just me and they experience the crashing too. It is really annoying. It also sometimes does this thing where the UI will be messed up, in the wrong places. I do not know how to describe it exactly but things will be lower than they should, or to far to the side. I love the game otherwise, if it would stop crashing it would be perfect. I would also love to see more community choice songs added (Yababaina by SataponP would be my choice), and it would be fun to get the Project Voltage songs too!

Amazing!
Now I know you might be saying, “ oh this is just like the rest of the reviews that say that this game is the best game” and leave but I’m here to tell you that it’s not the BEST game but it’s by far MY best game because 1 it allows me to play a game on my phone without having to use WiFi. 2 it’s very fun and it can also help you type faster if you play it long enough because you get really good at pressing button quickly and my WPM has gone up after I played this game, not sure if it’s because of the game but I’m 75% sure it is. 3 I just love all the features of the game! Where you have to work to get master,(get 7 or less good, bad, or miss taps) the fact that you have so many songs and that NEW ones come out every once in a while and that you can dress up your characters and see the music video (next to the live shows there’s a mv viewer)! -little note from me here : if you could add lost umbrella but with wxs(Wonderlands X Showtime) it would sound nice but the lyric would be so ooc(out of character) for them that it would be so funny! This is just a suggestion and I’m not forcing anyone. Goodbye and thank you for listening to my rant about how amazing I think this game is.(LOVE THE STICKERS THEYRE MY LIFE)

A Game That Was Simply Lovely
Hello! I honestly forgot if I’ve written a review before, but even if I did, I’ll write one again. I’ve been playing project sekai on the EN server for about 2 years and I’ve seen a lot of things. For starters, watching the art grow in details for the cards has honestly been a process. Comparing it to what the JP servers have is just crazy to see how much the game has improved. Also, the large amount of songs that are provided are really nice, especially since you don’t just have vocaloid songs, but include artists like Ado and Yoasobi. Another detail is that project sekai isn’t pay to win. There are definitely better rewards if you do pay, but being a f2p player is very good compared to other games. Even if you’re not particularly skilled at rhythm games, you can still get gems from logging in and doing daily challenge shows. There’s also the pity where you can get a four star after 70 pulls, and the fact that limited banners come back is amazing. Overall, project sekai has been a very interesting game with the stories of the characters and the unique voices that we get to hear. I can’t help but thank my friend for introducing me to this game so early. Keep up the good work!

Good game just a few problems
Project Sekai is one of my favorite rhythm game besides Bandori ( which I like better ). The quality of this game is amazing cards and costumes and pretty good, and songs are pretty good too. I just have a few problem 1. This game gets really laggy when I play this game for long time( screen freezing, and slowing down) my phone also gets really hot too DIDNT have this problem with bandori. 2. It is hard to farm crystal’s considering how it takes 3k crystals to do a pull I expect there is a easy way to farm their is NOT. Doing area conversations is the easiest but you ONLY get 10 that’s like reading 300 conversations just to do a pull. Doing a song is not that efficient you get at least like 10-50 crystals for completing a song without full combo/all perfect. Doing story’s is easy but after completing all of them it’s not as useful anymore. Characters rank are probably the easiest way to get crystals but task are pretty hard to do once you did all the conversations ones. Events give you like 1000 for completing everything. This is pretty much everything I have for my review overall I give this game 4/5 stars could use a little bit of improvement if you think my review is horrible well to bad it’s my opinion so sorry Show more

Bugs
I am totally obsessed with this game although i do have some complaints regarding the bugs. The first issue is that whenever i do a gacha pull its immediately kicks me out. This is not a one time issue, this has happened multiple times (around 6 pulls which were all 3000 gems) this would have not been an issue if it was a one time thing but it has happened numerous times. The main problem is that i cannot check which characters i have gotten since i have many in my inventory already so i cannot just go check which new ones appeared. I have acknowledged thats this issues is not just a problem with my device, as i was reading the other reviews i encountered an individual with the same issue i am having. My second issue is the lag thats happens while i am playing a song. On occasions it was randomly pause for around a second which makes me loose mu combo. I don't have the biggest problem with this one since it doesn't happen to often, i do have an issue with the kicking me out since it is a constant problem. I know from playing this game for awhile the amazing creators have solved bugged issues, so i would hopefully like the creators to acknowledge the issues so it can be fixed. This is the only complaint i have with this game since it is very fun and enjoyable!

YES.
I. LOVE. THIS. GAME. This game is absolutely amazing, and I love playing it. The characters are all so Interesting, and all have their own back stories. I love how each song has it’s own event story to it. And each event story has different episodes which make it so interesting to watch. I also love how each Group in the game has their own 20 episode back story to them. Each Group has a big lore, and I love how all the groups love each other platonically. Each character also has an anniversary event when they have their birthday. This game is AMAZING. (More about the actual shows in the game) So, there are 5 modes. Easy, Normal, Hard, Expert, and Master. Master is locked, and you have to complete a criteria to do unlock it. You can pick your note speed, pick your characters, and you can create a team with more and more talent each time to get to a higher score. The lowest score is C, and the highest score is S. The entire list of the scores is, C, B, A, and S. The higher you score, the more crystals you earn. Crystals are what you can use to pull for different characters. You need 3,000 for a 10 pull, and 300 for one pull. There is more to this game, but, I’ll let you play it to figure out just how fun it is. Bye!

My favorite game!
I have some complaints but first onto the positive feedback: Project sekai/colorful stage is a really fun game and for me, it never lags. It also doesn’t kick me out of the game (at least, not that often anyway). Now, onto the things that annoy me about this game: 1. For some reason, even when I’m holding a long note or tapping a note, it sometimes doesn’t register, which bothers me because I am touching the note/s. 2. Co-op disbanding. Sega/Colorful Palette really should stop making room disbanding a thing because when a co op room disbands, it kicks you out. Not out of the app, but out of the room. And most of the time, when you try and get into another room, it disbands and kicks you out again. This is very bothersome to me and probably other players too. 3. Gacha rates. Yes I know this is something I probably shouldn’t be complaining about, but it’s annoying. So, story time. One time, I saved up 29k to get a limited Minori 4* card. Throughout the ten pulls that I did, I didn’t get a single 4*. None. Not even a duplicate. I was so mad and surprised after pulling. And yes, I know it was a limited card, but I think I still should have at LEAST gotten a single 4* card. Anyway, that’s all I have to share about this game. Bye and have a nice day/afternoon/night! ‼️

Disconnections
Hi! This game is amazing and I absolutely love it! I’m not sure if I was ever obsessed with a single game this long! I love almost everything about it! You can play with other people, play by yourself, and play competitively in the ranked matches (which is unlocked once you get 5 fc on expert) There are a few things I dislike but most is about the fan base which the game cannot control so I won’t critique the devs for that. But there is no such thing as a perfect game either, I feel like soemthing that bothers me is in the ranked matches if you disconnect you lose anyways when it’s not your fault. In one case I deranked because of a disconnection in a match I was winning, yeah I was mad, but then I thought “is it possible to detect differences between leaving and a disconnection?” If there isn’t then the only thing I can think of is don’t count it as a loss for the person who disconnected, of course if that is even possible. Secondly if you can find a way to detect the differences between quitting and disconnecting I would like to have that in the game is SEGA will put time in effort in to doing so. Besides this, it is a great game for people of all ages, some songs are questionable but besides that the game is really fun. Thanks for working hard to make this game awesome!

One of my favorite rhythm games
This game is a lot of my life right now, it’s so fun and I love all the characters so much (: I’ve completed a lot of master 28/29 songs within 1 year and it’s so amazing to see how far I’ve come! As other people are saying, there are minor graphical bugs, such as notes not registering when I tap just one individual note and then it’s fine, however most of the time I don’t have this issue so it doesn’t affect anything for me. There are other times where co op matches will not start even if everyone is in the match and no one has “waiting..” on their slot (either doesn’t allow a new player to join or it just becomes bugged even with 5 people). Again I don’t experience a-lot of these bugs often but other people might so it would be awesome to see these bugs fixed or lessened to a degree. I do have a recommendation which would be so cool, however I’m unsure how possible/easy it would be. You guys should add leaderboards for songs, so we can see everyone’s progression! There doesn’t have to be rewards for it of course because it’s not necessary. Either way this game is awesome, love the songs and the va’s for every non main vocaloid. Excited for the future!

Great game, but cop shows
This game is great. The story line is good and the charting on the songs are good and so is the gacha rates and cards. It’s amazing even. There’s just one problem. The cop shows are extremely fun to play but when you accidentally swipe up for flicks or maybe your playing a song that involves a lot of clicks and you accidentally click the swipe up. You can also get disconnected if you tap to hard on your phone namely a phone with no button to press like a IPhone 13 pro max. Sometimes you accidentally disconnect because of the ability to swipe out of apps instead of just clicking a button. It is really hard to play cop shows when you keep getting signs that say “Unfriendly misconduct towards players cop shows are now inactive for (this much time)” I just find that very unfair because sometimes it’s on accident and I never leave a cop show because of the song choice so I’m getting labeled with unfair treatment towards other players for no reason. Please fix this. Overall though the game is very good and I enjoy playing it very much. (P.S. I understand why cop shows say that because some players just leave or disband a room because of a song choice)

fun game! with some issues though…
This is such a fun game! I’ve always been into vocaloid and rhythm games and it’s so much fun! The songs are catchy and soo good and the characters are great! The cards and the art is so beautiful and it’s not that hard to progress far, but there are some issues with the note register. I will do a flick note or do a spam note and some of the notes won’t register and will either be rated as “good” or a “miss”. So I screen recorded to see the register of the notes and even if I hit it correctly, it was still registered as a miss. So I tried to use the JP server and all of my notes were registered right! I don’t know if it’s an issue with my phone or with the ENG server having a bug about that, but it has been easier to complete or get a full combo on harder (and even the easy songs) on harder levels like expert or master on the JP server for some reason. Please fix this bug because I’ve seen that other people have been having the same problem when it comes to notes being missed when they were hit correctly and on time. It’s a great game, but I don’t want to leave all the progress I made on the ENG server to restart on the JP server just because the notes aren’t registered properly when I get them on time.

one of the best rhythm games!
I’ve been playing this for a couple years now and I’m still enjoying it! I love vocaloid so i was very happy to find a rhythm game of miku and etc! ( i love len 🍌! ) all the characters are really unique and pretty cool. the plot is actually interesting, with there being a SEKAI world and all. the songs are so good and they keep adding more! my favorite thing of all in this game is the events. sometimes they add really good events and rewards! the story for the events can be interesting and sometimes emotional (´;ω;`) but there are some minor things I think are annoying. first the 4 stars. they are ridiculously difficult to get even if it says “higher rates”. some cards I really really want I just have to give up because they are really rare to get and you don’t get a lot of crystals to begin with.. next the co-op. I know this isn’t the developers fault BUT I hate how people in the co-op just leave?? it’s so annoying and it ruins the gameplay. last, is a suggestion. please add a 2D mv option (;_;) I don’t really like the 3D sometimes they look funny dancing lol but the 2D animations are incredible!! but they don’t have an option to watch them unlike the 3D ones ಠ_ಠ

I LOVE this game so much but…
Yes there is a but in the title, I really love this app (even though I only had it for a month) it’s really fun and it gets you hooked and it’s hard to get your eyes off of it. But there are some issues and suggestions that I’ll like to say, so the bonus energy takes like 30 minutes to give you one and it’s too long for me, maybe make it less to like 15 minutes? Also the gacha system you need 3k crystals and it’s hard to get them, and when you do get them you only get like 10, 50 or 100 maybe give more options to get crystals? I know you can pay them but not everyone has the money to pay. Also the multiplayer mode is kinda laggy, like whenever I go into a match it will say like “room is disbanded” or something like that and it will happen 3 times before you get into a match and sometimes whenever I do either one or two of the teammates (either in the team or the opponent) you will most likely loose, maybe restart the match until the teams have an even amount of people? It’s kinda unfair to me and the others who think like that. Anyways this game is really fun and might be one of the most played games on my phone so far, so SEGA if you’re reading this thank you :)

Custom profiles and love
First of all I want to say that I absolutely love this game and I recommend it to anyone who’s looking for a mobile game to get obsessed with. It’s fun, well designed, and operates beautifully ( besides from the very occasional game crash ). But mostly I’m writing this review to rant about the custom profile feature that was added with the most recent update. In my opinion it is the best feature that has ever been added to the game! It’s so cool to see snippets of other players personalities through how they design their profile. But I think the best part about this new feature is the fact that it can only be improved and elevated from where it is now. I have been buzzing with ideas about how to do this sense the feature was announced. Imagine being able to display your favorite stamps and songs on your profile! Imagine being able to show off that costume you grinded three weeks of game play to be able to afford! Imagine a way to show your improvement on a certain song or the game overall! The possibilities are next to endless and I’m so excited to see how custom profiles will be I added to in the future.

Pretty good!
The song variety is really good, and with the new release it’s pretty easy to get crystals for gatcha pulls (or materials to spend on the good character you’ve somehow gotten) through virtual concerts, missions, or just talking to people in the game. The characters are wonderfully designed, and the loading screen comics are fun to cycle through as well. Everything has a lot of charm when going through it which is fun to go through even when I’m personally not into heavy storytelling in games. The game has so much content to give and so many songs in it’s library it’s hard to ever feel bored. However, the consistant issues I’ve had with the game are within the glitches. It’s really annoying when you’re halfway through full comboing a song and the game decides to crash on you or just simply stop registering your notes. It’s been a issue that I thought would’ve been fixed updates ago since other people who I’ve talked to who played the game seem to have the same issue, but it’s still been happening. Also a suggestion I have to better improve the game would be a favorites song list that can work in co-op and single, with the growing library it’s becoming harder to find the ones I want to play.

Keeps banning meh from co-op. FIX IT >:0
Hello! I love love love love loveeee this game. I’m a huge vocaloid fan and pjsk supporter. I can play this game for hourrrrrssssss it’s just so great! I don’t know how to describe- but. Everything good Must come to an end or- at least trample. My phone will kick me or crash (sometimes the I phone to close) will come over my screen. And when I’m in co-op it will disconnect me from the game. And when I try to go back in and stops me and puts a 1 minute timer. And normally I just collect coins for a bit and wait until I can join again. But that brings me to now- I was in the middle of a cheerful show and my phone crashed, so I got back into the game and went to cheerful show only to find that a timer was up saying that I was doing inappropriate conduct or whatever (probably it thinks I’m leaving on purpose to reck people’s games IM NOT!) but this time it’s not one minute. It’s not two minutes. It’s not five minutes!!! ITS A WHOLE HOUR. I am upset and very disappointed. I did nothing wrong- I would never leave to ruin peoples games on purpose, if anything the crashes are ruining my game! I wish that you could fix this so that I won’t have to wait 3 hours every time i accidentally crash my phone. -Xani

I LOVE THIS!! But…
Ive always been a huge fan of anything Vocoloid & Hatsune Miku, so I preordered this game right when it was announced (about 3 years ago?? Idk…) and I got a lot of stuff on it and had a lot of data saved onto it but just recently I accidentally deleted the game from my iPad (when i meant to just add it onto my app library instead of having it on my home screen) and when i tried to go back in right after realizing and redownloading it, all my data was lost and i couldn't log onto my account, so then i contacted Sega, hoping that they could get my account back, but they sent me an email saying how i needed to send them the exact amount of diamonds, the exact level i was on, the names of EVERY SINGLE ONE of my cards, the exact amount of irl money i spent on the game and I couldn't remember any of that (obviously) since i don't think anyone memorizes their exact account details and the names of all of their cards and how much of everything they have so I just couldn't get my account back, that I spent 3+ years working on! Im super disappointed but I really do love this game, and everything else about it is amazing and perfect so Ill just start over on a knew account, super sad and disappointing though…

Blew me away
I actually went into this game expecting it to be mediocre or just bad. I thought that the addition of different groups was unnecessary and I wished that they would just focus on the vocaloid characters. But, when I started playing, the story got me hooked and I ended up falling in love with the new characters! I actually switched most all of the songs to the sekai version when I had previously been biased toward keeping the original vocaloid versions. The game runs really well on my iPhone 13 mini, only a few problems every now and then that were probably due to Wi-Fi or ones that were fixed pretty quickly. Gameplay is really fun, story is great, events are great, and the best part of all is that the game isn’t too focused on grinding. In my opinion, it’s just about better than project diva. Thank you Sega for making an amazing game and adding some great, more obscure songs instead of focusing on the more popular vocaloid tracks! My only complaint is that I wish it would’ve stayed project sekai instead of being changed to colorful stage. The Japanese name makes so much more sense.

Cute but has problems
My biggest issue with this app, is that I want to have it installed on both my phone and iPad, the iPad allows for better dexterity in gameplay, but having it on my phone allows me to play it on the go. It says I may link my accounts and it works just fine, but when using one and then the other, the data gets corrupted and I have to uninstall and reinstall and wait 20 minutes for the data download. Its happened three times now and It’s very annoying and hopefully it gets resolved but for now I’d have to stick to using one device. Another thing is that there’s too many details to this game to keep up with, 5 story modes, plus event stories, plus small chat interactions that reload and appear every 2 minutes between two world maps, plus the gacha element and card upgrades that dictates how high your scores will be, the four different game modes, there’s just too much!!! I would say that because of this I won’t get bored with the game, but after trying everything out once, it kinda just gets repetitive and hectic, I have to play 4 songs to feel any progress, and idk, for a mobile game that’s supposed to be a quick break, it’s a lot to handle and a big distraction, keep that in mind when installing.

I like this game but don’t at the same time and there are several different reasons and oh how I could go on forever but I can’t. One It’s a very cute little fun game the characters are all so great, the stories they do for the events Its really well done. And although it is a very nice game there are some things that I think they could change. One of the I think would make it a little more better is if they could possibly change the note placing in the songs because sometimes it kinda annoys me me also it makes it more difficult so I think if they could just change it to be a little more easier then that would make it a little more fun, easier, enjoyable, and less stressful. Another thing that I think they should change is probably the background it gets really hard to focus on hitting the notes so I think if they did a little adjustment to that it would be much more more easier to concentrate. But overall it is a very good and very cute game. I do really think you should try this game out I’m just giving you a little advice anyway I hope this made you think about downloading this game and I hope you will be able to enjoy this game

Love the game but!
Ps: ( i am a new player so i may not know everything about the game )The game is wonderful you get to play shows by your self its almost like that piano game but 100% better you can get character and cover cards ( i think ) you can also play challenge shows and you will get more rewards! And with your characters you can buy costumes and dress the up and you can also pick out of 4 colors you can look through sekai’s and go to shops to buy items to boots characters moods but mainly why i am here is because of the CO - OP SHOWS ive played some co-op shows and sometimes i need to do something for my parent ( which includes going on a different app, closing my phone or just stopping for a while and each time i come back i have a warning saying that i did an “ inappropriate conduct towards other players “ and most of the time the show didn't start as yet and its not my fault i have to do other stuff and now i have to wait an entire day to be able to play co - op again and i know its not such a big deal but ive only got to play 3 times so far and i was getting to enjoy it so i have one question is this normal? And ive only got to play 1 full show

Great!
This game is probably one of my favorite mobile games. The thing is, there’s something in this for every type of player, like how it appeals to rpg players in the skills, upgrading, and team-building aspects; it appeals to people who are just in it for the stories with the main stories and consistent stream of side stories; and it appeals mostly to rhythm game players in it’s core mechanics. My one and only issue with it, kind of comes from how much there is. Sometimes (quite commonly actually), because there’s so much, the app will crash. Usually it’s not that much of a problem. It’s a bit frustrating, sure, but it can be easily overlooked. The problem comes from when the game crashes during a co-op/cheerful show (and ranked matches). Sometimes it’s not a problem, but the more it happens, you start to receive penalties for something out of your control. That being said, I fully understand that when coding it’s probably not easy to distinguish when the game crashes vs when someone quits it intentionally, so I’m willing to look past it for the sake of an otherwise phenomenal game.

If you stay casual it’s perfect
The five stars come from my experience overall and when I’m not trying to full combo songs on Hard difficulty. This is honestly the best rhythm game app I’ve seen of it’s kind. The UI and art has a lot of love and detail packed in. The gameplay is pretty involved since, as others pointed out, the notes go with parts of the song, not just the beat. It feels natural for the most part, I’ve only seen a few spots in beatmaps that are a bit iffy. The character stories are interesting and one even pushes a bit into some darker themes for those who are fans of those types of Vocaloid songs. But do not try too hard to full combo a song past Normal difficulty unless you are really, really good with rhythm games and working around hit detection. Because there are some noticeable hit detection issues once you start trying to do so, and very minor lag issues that the average player might not even notice unless doing co-op. Please, it’s for your own good I say this. I’d envy those who have Master difficulty unlocked if I didn’t know it could be so painful to reach.

Amazing game!
I don’t normally write reviews, but this game is amazing! I’m a sucker for these type of timing games. If you type slow on mobile, this is the game for you 😅! I play this game to help my hand eye coordination. It also helps me type faster but that doesn’t matter. If your looking at reviews on gameplay here it is | V The game is overall amazing. You can choose wich song you want to play, and you can choose the speed the notes go down! You can unlock songs using your music cards, so save them up! There is also a co-op option! You can create a room or join one, when you create it it puts it on private, so you’ll have to change it to public. Once you get in, it will ask you to choose a song. Once everyone chooses a song, it will randomize the song out of everyone’s and once it chooses a song you all choose your own difficulty and play the song! I don’t want to spoil any story, but the Wonderland X Showtime story was juicy 🫢 Anyways I really hope you’ll like this game as much as I do (Also best virtual signer is Luka >:3)

Great game but it’s just one thing wrong
I really like this game and I’ve been playing it nonstop for months now and I’ve even gotten my friends and family to play it! It’s just one thing wrong. It won’t let me update but I’ve seen other people have the update. I haven’t seen anyone have the same problem as me so I don’t know if it’s something wrong with my phone or the actual game. I did try to update it but when I came back on the game after it fully updated, nothing changed. It all looked the same as before. I’m not complaining though, I’m completely fine with having the same game as before but I’d really prefer that I’d get the updated version. I even checked on my App Store to see if the game gave me a chance to update but nothing. I really really like this game but I’d like it more if you fixed this problem as well. Again, I’m not sure if this is a problem with my phone or the actual game so I’m sorry if I’m sorry if I’m causing any trouble. This game is really good it’s just this one problem that messes it up.

Fat Shaming.
This game was my favorite of all time the storylines are well written, the animation is fantastic, the unlockables are so cute but there is one thing about it that made me upset. I get that games centered around skinny characters made in Japan are going to have body standards but I feel like this took it too far. Kanade, for example, barely eats. I’m not so mad about that as I am the fact that they seemed to glorify it. Kanade is cute in every other way and it’s making me feel like the game is trying to say “eat less” and “barely eat” and it may “make you cute like Kanade.” Ena, who is actually a lot skinnier than some of the characters, constantly brings up how she’s on a diet. Going on a diet can be good if you are prescribed a diet by a doctor or genuinely need it for health issues but Ena does not. Mizuki a few times also explains how she thinks “Ena is gaining too much weight.” I don’t feel like any of the friends in N25 would actually say that and if they did, it’s promoting a toxic friendship or toxic person. Please take this into consideration and don’t think this means that you have to change any of the character’s designs and gameplay but I just think you can cut out a few of the things.

Too much Grinding compared to Bandori and 4* rates are poor
EXP tickets barely do anything and you need to play a lot to get your characters to max level compared to Bandori GBP. 4* rates are also really bad compared to other Gacha Mobage, but can be considered somewhat normal in terms of rhytm gacha specifically. It’s easier to get characters you actually want in other mobage that uses gacha like Arknights or even Genshin, maybe GBF also. There are 2 4* in each banner, which I believe is purposely done to dilute the chances of getting a desired single character 4*, which is what other gacha do as well aside from Genshin, but most other games have also have pity rate that will help you get the featured or selected 4*. There is a spark system where if you pull 300 times you can select the 4* you want though. Also, unlike bandori, this game does not have rooms where items beside elemental materials are rate up. iirc bandori at least had coin and exp tix rate up rooms. tl;dr, very grindy, poor gacha rates. Not a very good game to play casually as an f2p, but otherwise pretty standard. Nothing really sets it apart aside from the vocaloid songs and covers.

My favorite rhythm game!
I normally don't write reviews and I've already had this game for a while, but I've just realized how truly happy it makes me in my everyday routine. I've tried many rhythm games before, but the one that always seems to stay is Colorful Stage (Project Sekai). I feel it is an upgrade compared to Project Diva and fits my gaming styling even more! I love all the original characters and I love reading about their stories and learning about their developments. It's also super fun to see how the Virtual Singers we know and love interact with these original characters and help them along their path to success. The stories are really heartwarming while also featuring very serious topics that the characters must face. Gameplay is just amazing as this is one of the only rhythm games I can keep playing over and over without getting bored. As someone who's been playing since around March-April of 2022, I highly recommend at least trying Project Sekai to get a feel for the mechanics and characters and I'm sure you'll fall in love!

Favorite game, but I would recommend JP surver
This is a game I want to actually want to spend my money on (but can’t) Because I literally love it so much. The vocals are also really good, and most of the songs.I’ve already got one of my friends to play it. As a vocaloid fan, this, too, makes me more attached. This game makes me happy, from when I started to play it, to the present.I personally think it’s very much worth for playing. I kinda wish they would add Gumi or Kaai Yuki, and Kaai Yuki songs, but that’s okay. Surprisingly I get really attached to the characters and especially the wonderland x showtime characters( I cried when I saw Emu sad) But, the reason I recommend JP server, is because it’s not as slow as the English server. I know some people can’t speak Japanese ,but it does the events ,with their gacha, and stories first, and on the English server, the events release about 1 year later, as same for some songs. But I still recommend this game 100 percent, anyway. But, I hope you find yourself playing this game, it’s really a good game.;)

funest thing i’ve ever played
personally, i’ve had TONS of fun with this game, and i’m pretty much obsessed with it. i’m a huge rhythm game fan, so obviously i had to try this out, and i’m glad i did. the song charts are unique, but the way everything works isn’t too hard to understand. the character cast is also very lovable, including the vocaloid characters featured as well. i’ve had a few problems with this game, such as it occasionally crashing, and some lag, but it doesn’t happen enough for it to be annoying. the way events work is also really fun to me, and the commissioned songs are really nice. my only suggestion would be to add things that other games have, such as animated cards, the ability to change settings such as note speed and offset during shows, etc. overall, this is my favorite game ever, seriously. i’ve played for over a year, and this game has taken up lots of my time, and the songs have taken up most of my playlists.. 10/10, would recommend!!

Literally my new favorite 😍
Ok so I don’t usually make reviews but uh yeah I am here so like yas! So I have no problems with this game except how much of my storage it takes up but I have only 8 apps so I am fine but just a warning for those of you with already blown up storage! So this is a really fun game I definitely recommend I technically would recommend it for 7+ only because I don’t think that under that age should be on electronics and getting addicted that early so yeahhhh…but anyways this is a music game so if you are looking for something else maybe don’t download it. I personally thing this is a really fun game. although most the songs are in japanese I can assure you they are totally appropriate for younger kids to hear and there are english ones too. the characters are so cute don’t even get me started. So yeah that’s my opinion so I 100% recommend unless you have a problem with anything I said. Have a good day sorry for wasting your time on a whole essay on a dang app lol byeee!!!

Disappointing Change
if you’re familiar with this game then you’ll know how various characters will “cut-in” and talk during live shows. one thing that i’m very disappointed about is how they removed the cut in feature for every single vocaloid except their one star variants and Hatsune Miku (miku bias strikes again). which is very frustrating, because why even remove them to begin with? i would understand temporarily taking them out to update and work on them, but from my understanding it’s been over a year now and they still haven’t added them back (if they’re going to add them back at all). they don’t affect gameplay overall, but i still want to hear lines from my favorite vocaloid. i have read various people talking about this issue, and i don’t think i’ve seen a single one support the outright removal of cut-ins from the vocaloids (with exception of miku because of course). i just hope the developers will listen and add them back, because the other vocaloids don’t get hardly enough love as it is. anyways that’s my rant, enjoy the rest of your day

Good, but a recent problem.
Okay so, I’m not sure if this is just for mobile/phone players, but, I just recently ran into this problem, so, when I was playing pjsk, I saw that I had the ads thing in scramble crossing, I never noticed it (ik its almost always been there I just never clicked on it) so I clicked on it and chose the 3 pack thing, I watched the ad, but not even halfway through the ad froze, but everything was still like not frozen? And the ad bar got all the way through but still didn’t give me the option to claim my stuff or skip the ad, this has happened 3 or 4 times now. and you need ALOT of storage for the game, and as a new player (of about only a month now I’ve been playing this) it gets really annoying at the notification of “check out Leo/need recent opening” and the “new!” Notification where it shows the groups, because I don’t want to download all the extra storage for it, so I think if you just click on it, the notification should go away, (or Atleast there should be a option for it)
