HEATONIST

Wanted to send a hot sauce to a friend. When trying to enter the address during check out I need to switch between the HEATONIST check out screen and gmail where the address is listed. Each time I navigate to the gmail screen all changes are lost. Fact is I can’t remember the street number and the zip accurately. Can you consider a different option for entering addresses? Otherwise god forbid I will have to use pen and paper like a cave man. Thanks.

Heatonist is my go to place to order hot sauce, however the app has one massive problem. You can’t access the “hot” category of sauces on the app. All sauces with a heat score of 7-8( my preferred heat level) are very difficult to find and sort through on the app. Currently if you select the hot category, it sends you to the hottest category, and the only way to find sauces marked as hot is to look through the list of all sauces and find them there. If this problem gets restored it would be a 5/5 app, as the rest is fantastic. Ordering is easy and the selection is great. I just wish they fixed this issue

App is great. Selection great. Rewards program is great. Integrated payment methods for quick check out via Shop Pay and Apple Pay is great. Easy to use and navigate and check out. I’ve been buying thru the app for a couple years for all my hot-sauce needs and have never bothered to go to their site via browser.

Love the hot sauce and the delivery time, but I’m trying to send someone a package and it won’t let me do billing address vs shipping address so it won’t let me checkout. I’ll just go to the website instead for gifts and use the app for myself.

Tried to order a gift for someone and when I went to submit got the pending charge for it but kicked me back to the payment screen and said shipping address doesn’t match billing address. From what I can tell I can’t add a billing address with the shipping address it just lets me only do the shipping address. so now I’m here with a pending charge that will hopefully kick off in a few days in and having to use the website to make the order anyways.

This app needs an overhaul so that it’s easier to use and to avoid all the pushes. One quick example - one should be able to reorder an item from a previous order with a swipe and a tap or two. Another - why is there a pop up for me to download the app that I’m already using?

I love shopping here and will forever continue to. All i ask is that packaging is better wrapped when traveling to overseas addresses! 11/10 as always!

I’ve used HEATONIST for a while and have always been happy with the select of sauces and how quickly they’re shipped. One broke in transit and they sent me a new bottle within a day! Great company.

Been a customer of Heatonist since they opened. They have such an incredible selection of products and this app is really clean and user friendly.

Convenient for a centrally located source of hot sauce, other than that, it is overpriced, shipping is high and the rewards redemption system needs work. Not enough info on the sauces and all the good ones are consistently out of stock for indefinite amounts of time.

Thanks SOOO much for making it even easier to buy hot sauce. Like i dont already have a cupboard overflowing. Great app, too easy to use. I love that you can shop by heat.

This app is perfect, from the market to all the info on the peppers and news in new peppers and sauces. Would recommend to all my hot sauce loving friends

You have great products, but poor product descriptions. It would be nice to read a description of each bottle along with its Scoville rating. David B. Boston.

I get it. You need to embed browser windows for some app functionality. But stop with the popups for embedded browser. I just want to see my order status. Making me dismiss popups is annoying, and that makes hot sauce taste less good.

You’re probably downloading the app because of the endless nagging from the websites, hoping not to get FULL PAGE ad after full page ad. Nope. Be prepared to click that “X” over. And over. And over.

This is one of the best websites I have ever come across to get hot sauce. I came across them years ago when I started watching season one of hot ones on YouTube Heatonist came up with a website and now I’m so glad they have an app that’s so much easier to use, I recommend anybody that is a heat connoisseur to use this app to fulfill their vice. You won’t regret it. stay spicy.
