This app is great and the customer support on it gets right on any issues. They actually call you within one business day and solve any issues immediately! Not to many banks will actually call you later on the same day if it’s a business day and business hours, otherwise the next business day they will if you email them with any issues! Had purchased something that turned out to be a scam and this bank got right on it and recovered my money back for me!
Superior service on all levels. My wife and I have never experienced a financial institution like this one. People that I have referred are also over the top please with how HFCU works with each member.
You can’t even complete a transfer! There’s no option to do so! Just to cancel or review the rules of the transfer. The new app is awful enough it’s making me want to switch banks. It literally shrinks the amount of screen I can see on my phone. Everything is small and cramped into one section on the screen for seemingly no reason except to advertise Heritage to me? It’s made for tablets not phones. If I click on one transaction to get more information, it kicks me all the way back to the home screen. Why do I need to scroll on the home screen now? Serious functionality issues. I can’t even use the website because it forces you to this awful app.
So the app is ok until it comes to charges pending…when my charges are pending it messes up the available balance … for example say my real available balance is $45 and then I go and buy something for $5 ok so then my available balance should be $40 but it will show I have $120 for my available and that really messes with me because I could think I have that much and go spend $100 then we’ll I would have over drafted … it’s really annoying
I like being able to pay bills and deposit checks from my IPad. I’m disappointed that I can’t do a person to person payment and have the money automatically transferred to their account. Other banks have this option and it is great! My brother sent money to my Heritage account from his People’s account and the funds were in my account in less than five minutes!
I like that the new system shows you the names of your sub accounts that’s helpful. I do still hate that you can have full access to all your checking accounts or savings on one screen you have log out and then log into the others. That’s a pain
This financial institution is like family, they take care of you and assist with financial matters and concerns. It makes me feel good to know that if I have concerns or needs that Heritage Family Credit Union is there.
Just had to upgrade to an iPhone 8. Set up Touch ID but doesn’t work when I sign into the app. Also saw that they they don’t allow two fingerprints now, which they did on the 7 which worked just fine signing in with either hand. Even when I deleted one it still wouldn't work. Please fix!!
I recently divested from TD due to their involvement with the Dakota Access pipeline that will soon be flooding the missouri river with poison. I moved to my local credit union to keep my money safe and not invested in morally appalling acts. It gives me a cleaner conscience (and hopefully cleaner future if enough people do the same), and an unexpected bonus benefit turns out to be a smaller monthly fee for my checking account than I was paying before! The only thing I can really ask for from this online banking feature is that they please include itemized pending transactions. I am waiting for my paycheck to clear and also have an automated monthly debit going out the same day - and sometimes my transactions are so plentiful and hectic that I just can't tell if certain debits are accounted for. Thanks for considering this request :)
Having problems with the touch ID login. Activated it in the main screen and everything said it was a success until I closed the app and tried to log back in. Wasn't there and had to activate it again. But low and behold it did not work the next time I logged in. Tried changing it from the preferences in the settings once I logged in and same thing. Seems to disappear every time. Need to fix this bug!
It's a good app. I used to use a credit union in Tennessee before I moved to Vermont and they a GREAT app that you could easily unlock with your thumbprint and the rest of the app ran very smoothly.
This is a very very basic app. Offers very little beyond checking account balances, and I constantly have to go online on a computer to re check access to each savings account.
Need a security code text to me every time I switch between my iPhone and my iPad. Very annoying. Now it takes forever and a day to get an electronic check withdrawn from my account. Forgot I sent it and thinks start bouncing everywhere. My bad for not balancing things forward but it never used to be that way. Back to the security code text. So annoying. Heritage can’t figure out I have 2 devices using the app??
